Chapter 1: Not From the Regular Horseplace

"Jayfeather." A sweet voice sounded. It curled around the ferns and seeped through the forest, trickling inside the medicine den, where two cats, known for their healing skills slept. One was waking, one was already awake. Both cats shared something: a disability. No matter if it's not being able to see a beautiful sunset or being able to run and skip through a beautiful field, they were both cats, and cats who were best friends. They always had been side by side since the blind cat's sister had passed, saving the life of a seemingly more important cat. Nobody sat vigil for her, besides, "She was a murderer!"

The blind cat fluttered his eyes open, and instantly felt a soft paw on his shoulder. He looked at his shoulder, and breathed in the sweet scent he loved. He followed it, trying not to slip on stray leaves that he needed. Once he felt the brush of kit-soft fur, he turned and twined his tail with hers. Medicine cats may not have kits, but they can fall in love and be loved back. He pressed his head to hers and opened his eyes, seeing. He knew this was a dream, but he knew him and Briarlight could control their actions. A pure white she-cat with blue eyes that looked white sat in front of Jayfeather. A black tom with dark brown eyes that looked black sat in front of the crippled she-cat, Briarlight.

"Greetings," The she-cat meowed with a voice that sounded like serenity, all the voices of their loved and the ones that loved them in one, and it was very light. The next voice scared them, the deep voice sounded like horror, a dark cave with no exit. It sounded of the cats they've feared and hated, and it made the cats unsheathe and extend her claws to the white. It held them to the ground, and made them unable to run.

"I am Lifeheart, and this she-cat is my sister Deadskull. We are the spirits of the spirits."

Deadskull purred in the beautiful voice, "I am where the good spirits go."

And the terrifying voice, Lifeskull snarled, "And I am where the bad spirits burn."

"We have the most important prophecy the Clans will ever meet." They said.

"Laughter, Honesty, Loyalty, Generosity, Kindness will create a bond within four clans and restore StarClan's Magic." They responded as they touched paws. They blended into a shade of gray and made a flubbery, pooling sound. Stars swirled and made a shimmering sound, then made a terrible, screeching sound of all the screaming of pain and terror the cats associated with clans have ever let loose. As they separated, Deadskull trilled, "You must find these cats and restore StarClan."

"Uh, Twi? You've been there for hours, sugarcube. You okay?" Applejack asked, concerned. Rainbow Dash's hooves rammed Twilight's door in pummeling bangs, and there was no response. Pinkie tried to slip in between the doorcrack, but a beaming sound set her backwards and threw her to the back of the room, singing her.

Rarity's horn glowed and tried to open the door, but it threw Rarity on top of Pinkie.

Fluttershy lightly gave the door a tap, and it creaked for a long time and opened.

"Howdy'a do that?" Applejack asked.

"Oh, um, I don't know. I just gave it as hard as a kick as I could..." Fluttershy explained.

They shared a look and went in. Twilight's. House. Looked. Awful.

There was paper on the floor, cranking out at light speed. Cat litter, Opal's fur, and a box of holes. Fake cat ears. Opal's toy mouse. A pile of paper was muttering. "Help... me..." It wailed, and a green hand grasped the air. Rarity yanked it and Spike fell out, his face full of pink ice cream. A beard was on his chin, and he flicked it off.

"Twilight said she saw a portal to somewhere and she asked you to come with her. She's been awake for a week, please help her! She really needs you.." He explained.

The six of them went up to the exhausted mare and Rarity said, "Twilight, dear. You need to follow us."

Teleport. "No time! Twilight need fix problem. No problem for Twilight."

Teleport.

Rainbow Dash said, "Twilight! The answer to your problem is on the other side of that portal!"

The crazed's pony's wild, twitching eyes fixed on the portal. Her malicious gaze rattled and steam puffed out of her nose as she charged into the portal.

"Quick, after her!"
