Chapter 8: Be Careful with Your Upgrades

Location: Equestria, Canterlot, Streets of Canterlot

Time: Sometime after Harbinger's Upgrades

Harbinger was walking down the streets towards the exit of the exit of the city. For the first time in forever, he could make sense of what he saw, heard or felt, instead of the usual streams of raw data that had to be deciphered into understandable data. This according to Shepard increased his processing power, due to him not having to work on the data himself. His body also became lighter, from the original six hundred pounds, to the new two hundred fifty pounds. The strength was increased, and the cooling system inside was upgraded to allow faster usage of biotic abilities. All in all the Reaper felt… alive. He was trotting along the street when he heard a familiar voice.

Fancypants: Harbinger, my good fellow, I didn't expect you to be free so soon.

The Reaper turned around and saw Fancypants and Fleur-de-Lis

Harbinger: Ah, Mister Fancypants, Missis Fleur-de-Lis it was merely a delivery from a tokin' friend of mine, he is actually an ambassador for our people.

Fancypants: I see. Anyway, what do you say about getting us some tea, I'm serving. By the way what does tokin' mean?

Harbinger: Uh… it is the way we say 'best' , where I come from. Tokin' friend means best friend.

The white stallion bought that explanation and they went off to one of the tea shops. The Reaper, stallion and mare drank tea while discussing various business topics and thanks to his extensive knowledge of business from acquiring data on various species, he was able to give Fancy quite some good tips. After about an hour or so, they parted ways.

Fleur-de-Lis: You do know what tokin' actually means, right?

Fancypants: Yes my dear, but let him think we don't know.

Location: Equestria, Ponyville, Streets of Ponyville

Time: A little later

The trip back to Ponyville took less time than the trip to Canterlot, all due to his new lighter body. He was walking down the streets, he was looking around noticing for the first time just how interesting the town looked, usually he found nothing special about it, because even for a machine, having to decipher the surrounding area would completely dull the aesthetic view. Many of the sympathizer ponies who were actually happy to see him around were waving at him, he found himself smiling and waving back. His own behavior surprised him.

Harbinger: *in his thoughts* Something is wrong, there is no way that I would respond to something as worthless as waving of hooves. Perhaps I should be bothered, but maybe it's just a small glitch in the new body, I will check it later.

The Reaper arrived at Twilight's house opening the door with the spare keys Twilight had given him. The lights were out, 'The girls must still be in the park, oh well', thought Harbinger. He walked up to pick a book to read it with his new vision, when he heard some shuffling upstairs. He immediately took a stance, readying his powers just in case. He slowly walked up.

Harbinger: Come out, I know you are here. It would be best for you, if you were to return any stolen possessions and run away, if not I will force them out of you.

No response came, the Reaper moved around the corridor noticing a faint light coming from Twilight's room. He walked up to the door and opened it slowly. The Reaper jumped in the doorframe priming his powers. What he saw inside made his jaw hit the ground, on the first floor. Twilight's room was coverd entirely in rose petals, the normal covers and curtains, were replaced by purple velvet ones. The floor was littered with scented candles that gave off the smell of lavender. Amidst all this 'chaos' was Twilight laying on the bed, her hooves were covered by black frilly stockings. She turned to Harbinger with a sexy smile.

Twilight: *sultry voice* Harby~, it's so good to see you.

Harbinger didn't like the use of the pet name, yet he couldn't come up with anything to say to her, hell, he couldn't even speak.

Harbinger: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh…

The lavender unicorn jumped of the bed, walking towards the Reaper, swaying her flanks as she did so. When she got close enough she nuzzled him. The flames on Harbinger's body started burning harder, his wings were twitching.

Twilight: You sure took your time with the visit in Canterlot. Do you think you could spare some time, just for me. *winks suggestively*

Harbinger: Unicorn, something is wrong with you and I don't like this.

Twilight pouted at him.

Twilight: Oh Harby, you can call me Twilight, *puppy eyes* please.

For some reason Harbinger found himself nodding.

Harbinger: Well, Twilight, do you mind explaining what happened, and what's gotten into you.

Twilight: What's gotten into me? *giggles* There's nothing in me. But I'm pretty sure that by the end of this night you'll "get into me".

The Reaper felt almost like a few circuits fried inside of him. He tried to think of a logical explanation to not only her behavior, but also for his reactions. His thoughts were interrupted when Twilight bit his ear and started nibbling on it.

Harbinger: Twilight, I do not like where this is going.

The lavender mare grabbed his head in her forhooves and looked him in the eyes, all four of them.

Twilight: Well I like it, so just shut up and kiss me.

Location: Equestria, Ponyville, A few blocks from Twilight's house.

Five mares and one dragon were trotting towards Ponyville Library.

Rainbow Dash: Why in the hay did Twilight leave us like that? What happened?

Rarity: I don't know, but it would be best to ask her about it. Hopefully it wasn't because of the letter the Princess sent her, I do not want another Smartypants incident.

Pinkie suddenly started twitching. Everyone recognized the phenomenon.

Pinkie: Lo-o-o-o-ksssss l-l-like s-s-something is go-go-go-going to pass b-by at high speed.

Everypony gave her quizzical looks. Almost as if on cue, Harbinger flew by at high speed, impacting with a wall behind them, hard enough to leave a giant crater in it. He then slid down and fell on the ground with swirlies in his eyes.

Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student

I have sent this message to request help with an experiment Shepard and I are performing on Harbinger. Shepard created a new upgraded body for our guest. The upgrades we want you to test are his new Advanced Emotional Drives and the newly added Hormonal System. The things you will need are in the package I sent. The package includes:

-Frilly Stockings

-Scented Candles

-Velvet Curtains and Sheets

Applejack is a earth pony mare, who lives and works at the Sweet Apple Acres along with her family. Sweet Apple Acres is the main supplier of apples for Ponyville and as such, there is always work to do. Applejack is current wielder of the Element of Honesty. She aims to gather enough money to be able to do some major repairs around the farm. A mare with a stubborn attitude and common disregard for personal hygiene, she frequently clashes with Rainbow Dash who possesses a similar stubbornness, and Rarity who often reprimands her for not taking care of herself. Applejack's stubbornness often lead to certain trouble as was the case with Applebuck Season…

Author's Note: #1: Trollestia and her new partner Trollshepard strike again. This chapter is not relevant to the storyline, just a little something I added for the romance plot. Neither will the next one, but I will add it just for lolz.

#2: I will be posting chapter after one day, aka. Friday, next will be Sunday, then Tuesday etc. etc. etc.

#3: Almost forgot, the illusion wore off from Twilight, hence Harbinger found himself, flying across the town at 60 mph. No, there was no 'rolling in the hay', but… did they actually kiss before the illusion wore off, or did it wear off just before they kissed. That depends on you. *Trolly the Trollthean dark chuckle*

#4: There were a few version of this chapter that i made before posting it. At first i wanted Twilight to wear a maid outfit, then i went for a nurse outfit, then i kept it simple - stockings. Also, i wanted her to do all of this off her own accord, aka. The Princess told her to, so she does it, but damn it made her look like some slut, i changed it to an illusion hidden in the letter. And finally, i wanted Harbinger to stutter while talking with Twilight, but it too OOC so i decided to keep his normal unfazed talk, but also leaving hints that he was having a bon- a good time.
