Chapter One: The Tree

It was a very quiet day-seeing as there isn't much point in being here, thought Kwite, he was a 14 year old boy, with blond hair, which for some reason, looked like it has been shaded pink, but anyway, he was a normal child in society. Most people bully him at school for being shy and "loving nature". But that was up to them, his mum and dad were on holiday all the time and didn't really care about him-at least that's how he saw it.

It was time for school, so after having pancakes and syrup for breakfast, seeing as he usually had Weetabix. Kwite didn't like school, there was this one kid-Jamie Loor-he was really mean, he always spelt his name quite, which was annoying. On his way to school, he met his only friend, she didn't really like him, but at least she was nice to him. She was called Becky Palmer.

After a long day of school and really terrible time, he left the front door, not knowing that Jamie was waiting for him.

"Hey Quite-Shy" he said. Kwite looked scared as Jamie and his cronies ganged up on him,

"please, not Today, I'm Too Busy-", he was cut off by Jamie,

"well, you're not now". Just as they were about to beat him up, a rock hit Jamie in the arm, he was distracted by Becky, and Kwite made a run for it. "NO!" said Jamie, he smacked Becky and ran after him into a forest.

As he was being chased he ran past a strange hut, it looked like a tribal hut, he thought. Kwite kept running.

"You can't keep run-". Jamie's voice faded away. Kwite stopped, he looked back, he paused and looked back, and he started walking backwards-well away from the hut.

He kept walking for ages, what felt like ages anyway. At last he came upon an opening, he walked out of this horrible dank forest, and saw-what looked like, a tree, but with…windows, and a door? Kwite couldn't believe what he was seeing. He slowly made his way up to this very strange looking tree-house, there were even curtains in the windows.

Kwite walked up to the house, to the door, the door was pink. He knocked. He was afraid he was dreaming, had he fallen unconscious, or had he been killed! Either way, no-one answered the door, he looked through a window to see, what he couldn't ever think he did, was a… a…pony?

"Coming" spoke the pony in a very soft feminine voice. Kwite was shocked at this; he had found a talking pony in a tree. She walked up to the door, and opened it to find a shoe, a strangely shaped shoe at that, Kwite realized that he had his dads shoes on, it must have fallen off, he said "oh…". Which might have been why he now needed to introduce himself to this fair-yellow coloured pony with an elegant pink mane. But instead he decided to faint. He could feel himself falling over form his crouching position. He had truly made a fool of himself.

When he woke up, he was in a soft bed, with a scratch on him arm, he might have fallen on something, he looked around for this pony he saw, as he was in this tree now. He took off his quilt, which was a darker pink than the pony's mane. He opened his mouth. "H-Hello, i-is anyone here?"

Suddenly, the pony came around a corner in which he didn't see, he screamed in panic. The pony ran away, terrified.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, but she was nowhere, he stood up, and noticed for the first time that he was in-fact smaller than he was. Kwite was at least now 4" foot high, and not 5"10 like he was.

He again spoke, this time softly, "I-I-Um, I am sorry I scared you; please talk to me, hello?"

No-one was there, no-one spoke to him, that's it, thought Kwite, I am gone, no home, I will stay here forever! Tears appeared in his eyes, he started to softly cry, he hugged his legs and put his head down, now he was really crying.

"Oh, no-please don't-", he heard the pony's voice and shuffled back. "There is no reason to be afraid of me, don't cry, my name is Fluttershy, and-", she stopped as she saw him moving away from her. Kwite stopped moving when he saw the confused look on her face.

"H-H-H-", he couldn't speak, he was astonished that a pony could actually talk, and another point, he had just noticed, she had wings, "You…You're not a pony, well you are but, wings make you a Pegasus, right?".

"Yes, and, umm, what is your name if you mind me asking?"

"Not at all, my name is Flutt-I-I mean Kwite. Kwite Shy", he had the same last name?

"Who are you, and urr…'she hid her face under her mane'...what are you?". Kwite just realized for the first time in a long time, that his name was strange.

"I-wait, please tell me where I am, are you the only person-pony here?".

"No, Applejack? Twilight? Would you mind saying hello to, umm-", Kwite interrupted her,

"Kwite Shy, sorry." At this time two more ponies appeared, each looked very different from Fluttershy. One of them was Purple, with a dark blue mane, with dark purple stripes in it, and one pink stripe. Kwite assumed they were also both girls. "A-A-A-Well, um, are you twilight?" he asked,

she answered him, "Yes, how did you know which one I was?".

Kwite responded with "Well, you are purple. And Human's associate Twilight with Purple." She looked confused.

"Humans?".

Kwite forgot, this not a normal town.

"Yes, they err… all look like my-not exactly, but well, my shape. Where am I?" he asked.

Applejack-the other pony, which had a cowboy hat, asked him "Excuse me, mister Kwite, but is that your real name?", she had an American accent.

Kwite had also realized by now that is was strange to have a name the same as this pony. So he said "Erm…Yes…I know it's strange, I don't even know why It is my name-I also found it weird that my last name is shy", he blushed.

"Well, Kwite, we have gathered you are human, and that you are not from this place-". Kwite cut her off,

"Where the hay am I anyhow?" he asked. Fluttershy, he had noticed, was making something that smelled nice. "I was running away from Jamie, and then he stopped speaking, I ran past a hut-", he heard them whisper something. Twilight looked at him,

"Carry on please". So he did,

"And then I ran out of the forest, and I saw his house, err… tree… never mind, anyway, talking ponies. WOW!"

Applejack Said "what do ya mean Talkin' ponies?",

"I mean that where I come from ponies don't talk, they just eat, sleep and err… well you know?"

Fluttershy came over with some pancakes, "would you like some" she spoke weirdly, because the plate was in her mouth. At the same time the three ponies noticed his hands, he had fingers.

"What're they for", said Applejack.

"It is how I pick things up."

Then twilight said "why don't you come with me?, I have something to show you".

He realized that he hadn't moved from the bed yet. "Sure". So he stood up, he walked to the door, which was now about the same height than him, and left with twilight.

"Where are we going".

"Twilight, where are we takin' him?" asked Applejack.

Twilight froze, "Erm… we are taking you to my house, he noticed a bit away from them stood a small purple character with green spikes on their head and back. They turned around "Hi Twi, What was all the-" Kwite thought, definitely a boy, he carried on speaking, "Whoa, who is that?" he asked.

"This is Kwite Shy-" he cut her off,

"Call me Kwite, Twilight".

"Ok then, spike, you can sit on my back now, we're taking Kwite to the library".

'Spike?', "Spike, is that his name?" he asked.

Spike said "yeah, it is my name, and you can see why…". He looked a little embarrassed. "Relax, there is no need to be shy, or embarresed, look at me, my hair is pinkish blond, and my name is Kwite, I mean, what is that?"

Spike smiled and they got to this "library", Just before Twilight opened the door, she said "Oh dear…". When he walked in, there was a very hyper looking pony-all pink, with a bushy mane and tail, bouncing up and down.

"SURPRISE!".

Chapter Two: The Party

"SURPRISE!" shouted the pink pony. She stopped bouncing, and looked at Kwite's confused face. She spoke up again, more quietly though, "Surprise?"

Kwite looked at the pink pony. "What is this?" The Pony looked at him with a hint of depression. She immediately cheered back up though. "This is your welcoming party! I saw you come out of the Everfree Forest, and I hadn't seen you before so I thought you should have a party." Kwite looked at her in disbelief, "there is this thing called breathing". "I'm Pinkie Pie, and I liked your joke." She pulled a strange face.

Kwite looked at Pinkie Pie with a little bit of happiness in him. "Uhh…" he started, and then looked at the surrounding ponies, to see them confused, he realized that he had started to cry. "I-I, I need a moment." He stepped outside and sat on a nearby patch of grass. He looked up to see Fluttershy. "Hello Kwite, how are you? Did Pinkie throw you a party already?" he looked at her. "Well…yes", he couldn't bring himself to tell her that he had only had one party, his birth-day, literally.

He finally plucked up the courage, "Fluttershy?' he asked with tears in his eyes, and Fluttershy sat next to him and looked at him and carried on 'I have only ever had one party in my life." Fluttershy looked at him astounded. "W-Why?" Kwite told her about his birth, and that since then his mom and dad never spent time with him. He used the teachers at school to help with his social life and things like that.

"Don't you want a party, I-", she was interrupted by Pinkie, Twilight, and Applejack coming outside to find him crying with Fluttershy [Fluttershy wasn't crying].

"KWITE!" screamed Pinkie, Kwite answered with "yes, I know I'm coming". He looked at Fluttershy; he asked her if she would tell pinkie, he was too happy and sad at the same time.

When Kwite went into the library once more, he saw a food bar, "Pinkie, could I get something to eat?" Pinkie looked at him again, "It is your party si-", she stopped when Kwite stomach grumbled, and "You CAN get something to eat." She finished. Kwite looked at Pinkie, and then he moved towards her, he kneeled down, wrapped his arms around her. She looked at Fluttershy behind him, she whispered to her about the whole business of having one party. "Thank you. So much."

Pinkie answered back with "Okie dokie". She moved away from him, Kwite followed her into a small kitchen, she said "Would you like a Muffin?" at the same moment, a cross-eyed grey pony, with a blond mane walked in, "moofans?" Kwite looked at her, she said "hello Kwite, by the way everypony already knows your name". "Erm…you are?" She Shouted "Derpy, Derpy Hooves." Kwite looked at her, he noticed she was sadder than she had been; she looked like she was trying to keep back tears. "Would you like this moofan?" he said, Derpy smiled and said "thank you". Pinkie looked at him. Derpy left, and Pinkie explained that there were some ponies who hated her. "But isn't that a bit strong?" Pinkie nodded.

-2 HOURS LATER-

After everypony and Kwite had eaten and drunk, all the other ponies said goodbye and left. The only ones left now were him, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Twilight, Applejack, Spike the dragon, Derpy, and two others he had not been introduced to.

"Hello darling." Said a white pony with a horn, must be a unicorn he thought. "H-Hi-", he stopped speaking and looked nervous. "My name is Rarity", she had a curled purple mane and tail. "I noticed that your clothes are in need of a clean?" Kwite looked down at his shirt, it was cut, like his arm, and he pulled up his sleeve and revealed the cut.

"Oh my Goodness" said Fluttershy. Twilight came up, "Erm… let me get you a bandage." Kwite looked surprised, all the ponies, he saw were taller than him by about 1"8. As he saw this he started to grow, the ponies moved back in shock, he was now 5"8, "well, I was this high when I came here".

So, after he had grown, and got a bandage on his arm, Rarity asked him to come with her, but the other pony [a Pegasus], and the last, was blue, with a rainbow mane… and a similar coloured tail spoke as well, "Hi there?" she spoke with a tomboy-ish accent.

"Hi, Rainbow". Everypony flinched, "how'd you know my name?" Kwite said "Well- wait what? I guess I just assumed you had rainbow in your name because of your hair." She walked forward, "Clever". Derpy just happened to start talking "did Fluttershy get a coltfriend or something?" Kwite blushed, he was wearing a yellow long-sleeved shirt, it reminded him off Fluttershy, who, without hesitation, also blushed.

Suddenly and without warning, Kwite stopped breathing. Twilight and Rarity used their horns to fall over gently, "Kwite?" said Applejack.

Spike ran into the room, Twilight looked at him with shock "Spike, what's going on?" he was breathing heavily. "Twilight, outside…window…need…breathe…" This caused the mane six to leave the building except Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. "OMIGOSH" shouted Twilight, for the one and only Princess Celestia had arrived, she went into the building. Everyone bowed their heads in excitement, "Twilight, put Kwite on the Bed". She obeyed.

"What's the matter with him?" Asked Fluttershy, she looked up, "And how-how did you know his name?" Princess Celestia turned, "I brought him here, to learn about friendship. You see recently, I've been working on a project that will open portals to different worlds".

Princess Celestia asked Pinkie, Rainbow, Rarity and Derpy to go home. They never thought of disobeying. So they left.

Applejack walked up to the bed, "What's the problem, princess?" she asked, "Well, you know I brought him here, and i didn't mean it, but something went wrong with the portals, you see, it's not just a transportation portal, but a-' she swallowed ' a transformation device."

"So, err… Celestia, why'd ya let me and Shy stay? Asked applejack. Which Twilight thought was a good question. Kwite suddenly looked very ill and was awake though. "Applejack, I want you to get something for Kwite to eat, as for you Fluttershy, I want you to keep him company…" Kwite looked at the princess, she was white and her mane looked like a cloud. Kwite could tell the princess had a puzzled face because of the resemblance.

"Kwite, is your last name really Shy? He thought for Fluttershy to ask this, she might not still trust him completely. "Yes, why?" Fluttershy said "well you just seemed to appear out of nowhere, and looked a bit like me". Kwite sneezed, he couched and choked, but Fluttershy still remained by his side.

Soon Applejack had returned with chopped apples, Kwite looked at her and said "Thank you". Applejack gave him the apple slices, Twilight said to Spike and Applejack "Wow, erm… lets go and… -", they left in an instant.

Fluttershy looked at Princess Celestia, "What did you mean by 'transformation device'?" She replied with a shocking answer. "Well, since I am an Alicorn, I used my power to bring him here, so by chance, he's either just ill, or he might become a pony." She looked a Kwite, "I am so sorry".

Over the course of the next few days, Fluttershy had taken him back to her cottage. Kwite's skin had already turned a yellow-ish colour, and his ears had grown into a strange position. Apparently, turning into a pony wasn't as easy as Celestia might have thought. "Flu-Fluttershy, could you please help me?" Fluttershy walked over and saw his state, "Oh my poor dear, you look awful, maybe a cup of tea will help?" he ignored her regretfully, "I need…-" suddenly, as Fluttershy walked off to get him some tea, a bright green spark flashed around him, he rose into the air, she screamed [quietly].

Fluttershy stood back, as she saw Kwite, changing, moulding into another shape; his hair got slightly longer, his hands turned into hooves. Fluttershy looked in terror as he grew a muzzle, slowly, step by step, he was becoming a pony. Kwite's eyes opened to reveal two orange lights. Fluttershy suddenly did the same, both of them blacked out in a few seconds.

"Aww…" moaned Fluttershy. She looked at the pony version of Kwite, he looked like her, but with shorter hair, and looked manlier, and no cutie mark. She spun around; she looked into the mirror to see a human. "W-What the…" Fluttershy was a human.

Chapter Three: Cutie Mark Part 1/3

Kwite awoke from his slumber, he opened his eyes slowly, he managed to stand up, and he felt weird. "F-Flutter…shy?" Fluttershy came into the front room. Kwite opened his mouth in shock and terror [mostly shock]. "Fluttershy, why are you a human?" Fluttershy was too busy looking at her new hands and feet to notice Kwite.

"FLUTTERSHY!" he shouted, and Fluttershy looked up, "I-I don't know what happened." Kwite suddenly remembered all about the business of becoming a pony and so on. Kwite span around quickly, he gaped at the mirror to see a colt, yellow, with a small pink mane. "Erm, Fluttershy, why-why am I pony, without one of those mark things?"

Fluttershy as a human was very pale, she had long pink hair, which looked very messy, and she looked about 15 ish. "Well, um, you-when I was going to get you some tea, and you went in the air and looked like a pony…' she paused, fascinated by her mouth, she found it hard to speak and walk right '…and then your eyes went orange." Kwite looked at Fluttershy with the most confused face he could.

"Well, I am a pony and you're a human, maybe you being near me affected you?"

"Maybe."

Kwite asked Fluttershy if he could go and get Twilight and the others, Fluttershy said yes. So Kwite went outside the door, the light burned in his eyes. A few minutes later, as he was walking through town, he heard whispers-such as "Is that Fluttershy?" and "I didn't know Fluttershy had relatives." After hearing many of these, Kwite burst into the library finally, "TWILIGHT, something went wrong!" he shouted to see twilight bouncing around, "Calm down, I am sure tha-", Twilight opened her eyes, which revealed Kwite Shy the pony.

"Dear Celestia, what happened?" she said. Kwite said "I don't know, apparently Fluttershy-", Twilight cut him off, "FLUTTERSHY!" Kwite never finished his sentence, because Twilight had already run out of the building, probably to find the others.

Kwite went after her, shocked to see that Twilight had gone straight to see Fluttershy, a bit unlike her? She opened the door, "Fluttershy? It's me Twilight, are you okay?" There was no answer. Kwite walked in through the door, "Twilight?" She ignored him, and then faced him; she screamed "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Kwite backed away, looking very frightened. Twilight apologized; because he looked like he was gonna cry.

Kwite said "Maybe she just went on her daily business." Twilight asked Kwite to go with her, he nodded. They searched town, all over in fact, they didn't find her. Kwite suggested "She could have gone to see one of the others?" But Twilight put her head down, "we're never going to find her". Kwite was really worried at this point. Then all of a sudden, they heard a soft singing voice come from a nearby river. They both looked over to see a teenage girl with pink hair; Twilight said "Kwite, is that-?" He realized that he hadn't told Twilight about Fluttershy becoming a person.

Fluttershy looked up, "H-Hello", Kwite saw he was having trouble with her new mouth. "Kwite?" asked Twilight, "Did you somehow do this?" He shrugged his shoulders.

After a couple of hours, everypony had gone to fluttershy's cottage.

"Fluttershy?" Kwite asked nervously, "Do you like being a human?" She looked at him, "Well, um, I don't really know just yet, but it does give me a different perspective." She smiled at him. Applejack walked up to Kwite, who was trying to look behind himself, "you 'kay sugar cube?" Then she noticed that he had no cutie mark, "Oh don't worry yerself 'bout that." She said, "A lot of ponies don't-" She also noticed that he was at least their age. She said "Maybe you'll get one?" Kwite looked at her and said "Thanks, I could use assurance." Applejack smiled and looked at Fluttershy, "Well y'all, I'd better be getting back to work now, seeya's later."

Kwite looked at Fluttershy to apologize "Fluttershy, I'm sorry if I've caused you any harm or anything like that. Fluttershy said "It's okay, Kwite, it's not your fault, it's not anyone's fault". She pulled a scared face, "THE ANIMALS!" she ran outside and all the animals ran away. "No, please don't be scared!" she said loudly. Kwite went outside, all the animals including angel [the white bunny], ran towards him, and hid behind him.

Kwite looked shocked at this, and knew that they hadn't seen a human before. He slowly forced himself to say the animals "It's- It's okay…' he looked at Fluttershy, said whispered angel, just before starting to cry, 'Angel, this is Fluttershy, only, erm, something happened and I used to look like that, but she is still the same, KIND, caring Fluttershy who looked after me when I was confused and scared. Although, I think I might never get home." He looked back at Fluttershy and smiled, Fluttershy looked stunned at this speech. She turned around to see Twilight, Pinkie, Rainbow and Rarity looking speechless. She giggled, wiping away her tears.

Angel and some of the other animals slowly hopped, bounced, walked, and other ways of moving went over to her. They inspected her, Angel smiled. He knew it was her. Kwite looked at Twilight, she said "Kwite, you-your cutie… mark?" Kwite looked at the end of his pony body to see a small yellow circle .

"Did I do it?" Twilight looked at him, "You got one sooner than I thought, but what is it?" she looked at it again, what does a yellow circle mean?

Later, when Twilight said that Kwite should stay somewhere else, he said he would like to see Rarity's house, and he realized that if he was a pony, he needn't have clothes, so he said "Pinkie's?" Pinkie pie bounced with joy, "OH YAY!" Pinkie circled Kwite "SLEEPOVER!" she shouted again. Rainbow Dash looked at Kwite "With you could stay with me, after all you are Pegasus." Kwite smiled, "So, just to clarify, you-your all my… ' He looked really happy '-friends?" He looked around to see the four of them nod. "Well dears, I simply must be off, I have work to do, Tata", and Rarity left.

"Well, um, wanna come to my house now?" said Pinkie. "Yes". Said Kwite. Pinkie walked off, Kwite followed her. A few minutes later, they arrived at what appeared to be a cake shop, the windows were very clear, and inside, he could see rows and rows of cakes, buns, chocolates, and just about everything sweet he could think of. "Pinkie, I thought we were going to your house?" She opened the door, "this is my house, silly."

Even later, After Pinkie had found a ben for him, which meant a mattress-it looked fairly new, it was on a wooden table, held up by four wooden posts, "Thank you, you know pinkie, where I came from, no-one would have offered for me to stay with them". Pinkie looked shocked. "NO-ONE? That's silly, you a perfectly kind guy". Kwite responded with "Yeah, I know, but on earth, my home world, it's everyone for themselves".

Around now, judging by the place of the moon, it was maybe dawn, literally 00:00 on the clock. Neither him or pinkie pie were asleep, so they sat up talking about how friendly some places were. At one point, Pinkie offered him a muffin, he said "I'm not hungry thank-I know, I dare you to eat it without licking your…face?" He just noticed-do ponies even have lips?

Anyway, Pinkie devoured the whole muffin in one, "Wow, impressive, how many muffins have you ever eaten do you think?" Pinkie said [with her mouth full] "I- haven't a clue, you?" Kwite looked ashamed, "Two". At this pinkie made a very small gasp, "What, no, are pulling my hoof?" Kwite laughed, "No, hoof-hahaha", he giggled.

"What is so funny?" asked pinkie.

"Well, on Earth, people say 'Are you pulling my leg?' so it made me laugh. Pinkie snorted, "Really?" Kwite nodded. "Pinkie, can I please get some sleep?" Pinkie nodded. "Well, if you need me, don't hesitate to get me, okie dokie?" Kwite said "Okie Dokie". Pinkie went to her bedroom, Kwite found it easier to use this new body than Fluttershy had hers.

He laid his head down on his pillow, he stared in the darkness, at his hooves, he was half tempted to stay here, but then again, he was also wanted to be a human again. His thoughts trailed off as his eyes started to close, he lowered his hooves, closed his eyes. And he had dropped off to sleep. "Good n-n-ight".

Chapter Four: I Been So Fly Part 2/3

The next morning, Kwite awoke to find Pinkie moving faster than he had ever seen. "Pinkie, what- what are you doing?" Pinkie stopped, "Where are they, where, where, WHERE!" Kwite got out of bed; he was still a pony, well, a Pegasus. "Pinkie, what are you looking for?" Pinkie stopped again. "The cakes, silly" She carried on running around, Kwite noticed a plate with 4 cakes stacked on one another. "Pinkie, they are here!" he shouted, Pinkie burst into his room and said "Thanks.

After this problem, the two went downstairs. Pinkie ran into an area that looked like a service area. "Thank you pinkie" said a purple pony, it was Twilight. Sat on her body was spike, the purple dragon with green scales on his head and back. "You're welcome Twi!" she shouted, as she trotted off back to her work, at least Kwite assumed that.

"What are the cakes for?" he asked, twilight gasped as she didn't realize Kwite was stood near her. "Oh, hi Kwite, these cakes are for Princess Celestia at the grand Galloping Gala" she answered.

Kwite walked nearer to Twilight and asked "Twilight, how long did it take you to realize you had friends?" Twilight pulled a strange face, "Well, after me and the other five went on a crazy mission, a spark happened when I was glad to see my friends." She asked "Kwite, if you're gonna get a place of your own to stay, you're going to need some money", Kwite answered with "Maybe I'll get a job here". Twilight smiled. "But first, I would like to know how to use these." He spread his wings rather elegantly. "Well, you seem to use them pretty good already". Kwite's smile went upside down; he tried to fly, but failed.

As he went with Twilight, after saying goodbye and thank you to Pinkie Pie, Twilight suggested that he go to rainbow dash on how to fly, seeing as she was Ponyville's finest flyer. "Well, ok" Kwite responded.

They walked through town, as they did so; Kwite started feeling a little strange. He looked from the ground to the street, to see a human Fluttershy wandering around, buying various items. "Hello Fluttershy, how are you today?" he asked, to which Fluttershy answered "I'm fine, although, I've been feeling a bit sick for some time now-" Kwite stopped her, "Me too."

Twilight Said "Maybe this has something to do with your changing?" Kwite nodded. Fluttershy suddenly fell to the ground, only to see Rainbow Dash in her face, "Sorry Fluttershy!" Rainbow shouted. "It-It's quite alright, Rainbow Dash." Kwite could tell she was definitely not looking too good. "Kwite, I heard-", she stopped as Fluttershy rose into the air, like Kwite had done. "It's happening again!" screamed Kwite.

Rainbow dash turned around to show Twilight and Kwite that her eyes were flashing an orange colour. Suddenly and without warning, they both fell to the ground. Except Fluttershy was…a…a…PONY! Rainbow Dash had not fallen unconscious, apparently, but she did look very strange as a human without wings.

"Twilight, why has this happened again?" Kwite asked. Twilight was just stood there stunned. "I don't know". She replied with shock. Kwite ran over to the now human Rainbow Dash, "Rainbow, are you okay?" Rainbow looked at Kwite "Yeah, I feel weird though." She stood up; she had a blue shirt, jeans, and short multi-coloured hair. Kwite wondered why she actually had clothes. "Rainbow, not to, erm, alert you, but you're a human." She looked a little bit sick, "What?"

Later, after Twilight and Kwite had explained to Rainbow that it had happened again, she had complained at it. "This is rubbish; I have to be in the cloudsdale competition!" She'd moaned for at least half an hour. But she eventually stopped after seeing Kwite in the corner of the house, looking depressed and upset, "I'm sorry Rainbow, I didn't mean to upset you, or make you angry…", Rainbow Dash looked sad as well.

"NO, no it's fine, I mean… I'll just perform next year." Kwite said "Rainbow, I know how I can make this up to you." Rainbow looked at him again, "How?" Kwite continued "Well, seeing as Fluttershy is a Pegasus again, and I'm still a Pegasus, she could teach me how to fly, and maybe I could perform for you?"

Rainbow Dash agreed, "That sounds like a good plan" she said.

Later, Kwite had gone over to Fluttershy's cottage to see her, he'd told her al about her falling unconscious after becoming a pony again. Fluttershy said "Well, erm, what exactly do you need to know?" Kwite looked at her, "Well, I can't you know, fly…" Fluttershy walked outside of her tree, "Well, we can start now, if you'd like."

Kwite followed her outside. "Well, how would I start, I can flap my wings, I can't use them though." She said "You can try?" Kwite was stood next to her; he thought she was the nicest. "Fluttershy?" she said. "Yes?" He stared into her eyes, "Well, if I don't ever get anywhere in this world, I would like you to know…" he got cut off "Know what, Kwite, is everything ok?" He continued. "Do you like me?" "Yes" she said, "No, but erm, like-like me?"

Fluttershy blushed rose red. "Erm…well…" she stopped as rainbow came over with a chair, "How do you sit down, this is annoying!"

Kwite and Fluttershy both looked really embarrassed. "Fine, I'll go." And she left. Fluttershy walked over to Kwite, she put her face next to his, 'did-did she just muzzle me?' He felt better for that reason, "Can we get on with the lesson now?" Kwite stopped blushing, "…" he mumbled so quietly that even Fluttershy couldn't hear him. "That was a yes?" He nodded.

From him nodding, they continued with the lesson. Kwite got the hang of it, after not very long. Kwite was looking very smart now that he could fly, now that he thought about it, it was quite easy. "You know Fluttershy, this was easier than I thought it would be. "Maybe it's because you don't have to hide your feelings anymore?" Kwite smiled, well, sure he'd gotten new friends, and a place to stay, peo-ponies, even, actually cared for him. And now look where he'd got to, a kiss-was it a kiss? Do ponies have lips, 'I can debate that later' he thought? "Thank you Fluttershy, is there any special moves you can do?" she replied "No, why?" Kwite was confused, because she'd seemed to be further away from him than earlier, so he walked nearer to her.

"Well, I'm making up for dash, because she can't enter cloud-something…" Fluttershy was looking a bit confused, "Cloudsdale?" Kwite shouted [not loudly] "Yeah!" Fluttershy looked nervous, "You didn't know?" She said. "Know what?" he said. "Well, it's not just a competition, it's a race." Kwite went pale. "But, I-I can't fly quickly, not at all." He screamed softly.

After Fluttershy had calmed him down, the two of them went to the edge of town, she told him that Pegasi can walk on clouds, "WOW" he exclaimed.

Later, when they had gotten to Cloudsdale, Kwite watched out for Twilight, Pinkie, Applejack and Rarity in a balloon, like Fluttershy had told them, Rainbow stayed on ground level, seeing as she was now too heavy to be there with them.

All of the Pegasi, including Kwite, were now lined up on a white line, the starting line, the only obstacle seemed to be a cloud, but that was ages away. "On your hooves…", 'Oh no, this is it' he thought. "Get set…" 'I can't do this' he squealed in his mind. "GO!"

"FOR DASH!" he realized he shouted aloud, but it didn't matter, when there were crowds shouting, he hardly heard himself. He seemed to be the first to set off, but the others past him completely, he hadn't had much time to practice, but after a few seconds, he got into the trend of it. He got faster and faster, eventually catching up to the others. There were about 9 other ponies he saw.

Derpy was in the race too, she wasn't very good though; she was in second to last place, Kwite passed her, and passed 6 others, and he was getting good at this. There were now only two ponies in front of him. Only a little bit to go, the cloud was now in front of him, he didn't know what to do. Somehow derpy had managed to catch up to him, "Hi, I'm Derpy hooves, you go around the cloud by the way, good luck. She zoomed of, in the wrong direction. So, as he was told, he flew around the cloud, in the distance he saw as Twilight and Applejack were arguing, probably about how he knew to go around the cloud.

He gained little speed, 'I can't go any faster than this' he thought. He flew up to the second place pony and went past him, then there was one last pony; and what was worse, he could see the finish line, it was close. He stretched out his hooves and miraculously was now speeding up, he was behind-side by side, and now in front, first place, he screamed with joy as he went straight through the finish line.

He slowed down. After a few photos and things, he collected the 1 place trophy. He fell through the clouds, everypony thought he had fallen, but he hadn't, he wanted to give his prize to
Rainbow Dash straight away. He dropped the trophy close to the ground, looking for the library, because that's where Rainbow was.

He collected the prize, and moved on hoof now, he had the prize on his back, and it didn't hurt him, as the prize wasn't that big. "Rainbow?" she shouted, seeing the library. "Yes?" she came out the front door, suddenly a huge smiled appeared on her face.

"Here, I thought you would like this." He said, giving her a grin as well. She smiled, "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" she shouted, and she ran over and hugged him, "I knew you could do it!" Kwite smiled, "Well, to be honest, it wasn't THAT hard." The others came down in the balloon. Rarity came out first, and looked at the trophy, and then to Kwite, "Dear?" she asked, "Yes Rarity?" she looked at his body, "You appear to have another spot, next to the yellow one, but it is blue.

Suddenly, Rainbow Dash's eyes went orange again, Kwite saw Rarity was the nearest to her, he shouted "RARITY!" but it was too late, the process was happening again.

When they both fell to the ground, Rainbow had actually fallen unconscious this time, and so had Rarity. The others rushed over, Rarity as a human, she had a smart white shirt on, and white trousers, she looked like a business women.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry" he said, Applejack walked over to him, "It ain't yer fault, sugar cube." She said softly.

Kwite wondered how long this would go on. He thought long and hard. The other ponies took Rainbow Dash and Rarity back to the library, Kwite couldn't see why. Rarity started to awaken, "If I am a human, you are in so much trouble Kwite" she whispered. Kwite looked frightened, she spoke again, "I have an important delivery to make, and I have no magic now". She was right, she had no horn, and Twilight never makes dresses, "Well, I'll help in any way I can Rarity, I promise you."

Kwite couldn't stop thinking about how he could help. HOW?
