Chapter 1: A Pinkie Princess Tale

Prologue

"Miss, are you really willing to place these troubles into your hooves?" A soft female voice asked, it belonged to a Alicorn. Her dull pink coat decorated with gold jewelry, her soft blue mane that curled at the bottom, her eyes were a faded fuchsia color. She used her magic to hold a simple candle to lighten up the dark she was in.

"Yes, ma'am." Replied another female voice, her voice was much more scruff and you could easily tell she was a strict pony. However she could not be seen since the room the two ponies were in was too dark. "And you are aware that the fate of Equestria rests in your hooves if you find 'her' before 'they' do?" The Alicorn asked the mysterious pony that hid in the shadows.

"Yes, ma'am." The scruff voice replied once more. "I promise that I will find her." She added. The Alicorn couldn't help but give a small chuckle. "There is no need to promise, miss," the Alicorn stated. "I know you will find 'her', don't I always know?'

Chapter One: Fortune tells all

"Mother! Me and Pinkamena are heading to the market!" A gray coated filly called out. She had violet colored eyes, along with her silky black mane that hung straight down. She also carried a worn out brown saddle bag. Accompanying her was her sister that had a bright pink coat with fizzy pink hair, both her mane and tail were curly as can be. She had also gotten her cutie mark which consists three balloons, two blue ones, and a yellow in the middle.

"Alright Inkamena! Be sure to buy some tools as well!" Their mother replied from the open door of the dull colored house. "And Pinkamena," she called, the pink filly turned over to glance at her mother. "Try not to buy a lot of party equipment," Pinkie's mother reminded her with a mature smile. Pinkie couldn't help but smile back. Ever since Pinkie Pie threw her first party, she made everypony smiles, she also grew closer to her family.

"Lets go, Pinkie," Inkamena said as she tapped her sister's shoulder. Pinkie Pie turned to see her sister's sparkling eyes, Pinkie Pie always thought her cutie mark party turned everypony brighter then usual. The two sisters walked along the brown, dusty, and rocky trail that led to the local market where ponies gather round to sell and buy, several other paths joined the huge trail to the markets.

"Guys! Wait up!" A small filly voice called out. It was from a smaller filly, dark colored coat, and a dull white mane. "Oh dear, we forgot a sister," Inkie chuckled as they both waited for the younger sister to catch up. "Inkie! Pinkie! Why didn't you ponies wait for me?" She asked with watery eyes. "Hey, calm down there, Blinkamena. It was Pinkamena's fault." Inkie laughed pointing at the second younger pink sister.

"Pinkie! You know I love to go to the market!" Blinkie wailed to the pink filly. Pinkie Pie then patted Blinkie's head for comfort, "Don't worry, Blinkie! I'll make it up to you!" Pinkie chirped, Blinkie gently pushed Pinkie's hoof away from her head. "Alright, fine Pinkie," she sighed. "Hey! And guess what? It's a 'Pinkie Pie Promise'!" Pinkie added, making Blinkie's grin wider.

The Pinkie Pie Promise was invented by none other then Pinkie, it was basically invented to keep a smile on Blinkamena's face. "And IF somepony break a Pinkie Pie Promise, they'll have to suffer from ME! The hero! Pinkie Pie!" That was what Pinkie used to say whenever she made somepony do a Pinkie Promise in front of Blinkie.

Once the three sisters arrived at the marketplace, Pinkie couldn't help but smile at all the ponies from different places, possibly more interesting then Hoofington. "Wow! This place got bigger!" Pinkie exclaimed, bouncing her eyes on every stand she could see. Blinkamena was already at the mail stand where a Pegasus work at. "Uh huh," Inkie replied, walking toward a different direction then Pinkie. "Remember, Pinkamena, put a limit on party supplies." Inkamena reminded her younger sister. "Okie dokie loki!" Pinkie Pie chirped, hopping off to see what wonders to see.

"How am I going to make this up to Blinkie?" Pinkie kept on asking herself while prancing around the marketplace. She spotted a small stand with vines that grew on the desk of the stand, blooming with crimson red lilies.

Behind the desk of the dark wooden stand was a pony, a unicorn pony. Pinkie trotted over to the stand out of curiosity, there was no sign saying what the stand sold. "Excuse me!" Pinkie called out to the unicorn that was busy placing some artifacts in chests. "Yes?" The unicorn replied, turning over to the party pony. "What do you do?" Pinkie asked, tilting her head in confusion. The unicorn gave a chuckle and walked over closer to the desk out of the darker area. She had a snow white mane that was fairly curly, but not as curly as Pinkie. Her coat color was a pale blue, and she wore golden jewelry, but it looked like it wasn't all that priceless. "I tell fortunes, for I am Blue Snow!" the unicorn stated proudly, "I also sell some flowers on the side," Blue Snow added sheepishly.

"Cool!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, buying one of the well grown flowers would surely make up for Pinkie's rush to the marketplace! "I'll buy the best flower you got!" Pinkie ordered, Blue Snow hesitated, then gave a sly grin. "If you pay for a fortune telling, I'll throw the flower for free." the fortune teller said, hoping that the pink filly would accept the deal. Pinkie couldn't help but think that it was a trick, most ponies that sold stuff usually trick the foals that bought stuff.

"How much is the flower? And the fortune telling?" Pinkie asked curiously. "The flower you want is about 30 bits." Blue Snow stated simply as possible. Pinkie Pie's eyes grew wide with shock, "That much for just one flower?" she exclaimed. Blue Snow gave a friendly laugh and said, "You said you wanted the best flower I had, and that's the price! The fortune telling is only 5 coins." Pinkie grumbled with annoyance and mumbled, "Alright, fine, I'll pay for the fortune telling thing." Blue Snow seemed satisfied, but Pinkie Pie gave a sharp glare. "But! Do you Pinkie Pie Promise me you'll give me the best flower?" Pinkie asked seriously. Blue Snow couldn't help but giggle at the small filly. "Sure, kid, sure."

Blue Snow guided Pinkie inside her tent, which was behind the stand. Inside was very dark, only lighten by dim candles that seem to burn out whenever somepony breathes. In front of Pinkie was a table shaped like a circle, what covered it was a clothe, decorated with flower patterns. To be honest, Pinkie thought it was fancy. On the table was a crystal orb and a deck of cards, Blue Snow seated herself on the comfy pillow that was behind the table, Pinkie sat in her's.

"So, I take it your name's Pinkie Pie?" Blue Snow asked with a grin, Pinkie Pie nodded. Being called Pinkie was weird since it was only a nickname her sisters called her by, most local ponies called her Pinkamena, not Pinkie Pie. "Let's see here," Blue Snow said out loud as she placed her hooves on the crystal ball, the most of the candles went out, causing Pinkie to be startled. The only lighting now was the small candle on the table. Blue Snow closed her eyes, still keeping that same smile, and a light was in front of Pinkie, like a vision that everypony could see.

A pink filly, probably Pinkie Pie, stood alone in the vision, other ponies that resembled her sisters appeared as well. "You and your sisters, you little ponies live a happy but boring life. Am I right?" Pinkie leaned over to see Blue Snow with her eyes still closed. "Anypony could had known that," Pinkie scoffed. Pinkie leaned back to her original position to view the vision once more. Dark clouds appeared while she was glancing at the unicorn. "A terrible event will happen soon, you and your family will soon change point of views." Pinkie Pie was now nervous, she kept her mouth shut and allowed the pony who was showing her the vision to keep talking.

"But don't worry there, kid. Soon after your tragic accident, a couple of good souls help you defeat the events that happens after you get out of a place that seems to last forever." Blue Snow opened her eyes, the vision faded away, and the candles lit themselves back. "I don't get it." Pinkie stated, staring at the blue unicorn. "Hey, me neither. I just told what the ball told me." Blue Snow then stood up and walked to a chest that was nearby. She opened it to reveal a gorgeous looking flower. It was blue, a rare color to a flower, and it was speckled with black spots that seem to make it even more elegant looking. Pinkie then tossed five coins onto the table, and in return, got the flower. "Thanks!" Pinkie said as she got her flower. "No, thank you for letting me tell a interesting fortune." Blue replied.

Pinkie Pie soon caught up with both of her sisters, Inkamena soon noticed the flower that was held by Pinkie. "Pinkamena, how much did that cost?" she asked concerned, "Five coins," Pinkie replied with a wide smile. "That's," Inkamena struggled to find a word that would describe what she was going to say, "cheap, but wonderful," she finished, returning a grin. Blinkamena was staring at the pretty flower, "It's that for a very special somepony?" she asked curiously, Inkamena shot a glare at Pinkie suspiciously. Pinkie let out a long lasting laugh, "No sillies! Its for you!" Pinkie laughed as she tossed her the delicate flower. Blinkamena caught it with ease and interest. Inkamena seemed relived that Pinkie didn't have a special somepony, sisterly protective.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Blinkamena squealed as she hopping around the satisfied pink filly. Pinkie had almost forgotten about the fortune Blue Snow foretold, "It was probably made up," Pinkie thought to herself. "I'm surprised you didn't get any Pinkie stuff," Inkamena stated, Pinkie shrugged with the delighted smile she had on her face. "I guess I forgot!" Pinkie chirped, Inkamena nodded, understanding what she said. "Alright then girls, lets go back home. It's getting late," Inkamena looked up at the sky, she was right, it was dark and the sun was already setting. Pinkie also took a moment to glance up at the sky, no dark clouds were insight, it was just a clear sky, speckled with little stars.

Pinkie let out a sigh of relief as she and her sisters traveled back home. Safely.

A/N: Alright! Thanks for reading the story! I wouldn't mind a few review, but you know, your choice! I should also state that in this story, Pinkie Pie got her cutie mark, still lives with her family, and doesn't know the other 5 mane ponies. Questions? Place them in the reviews and I'll go ahead and answer them! Also, fair warning, this story has tons of OC's, but they only support the story, not be the star.
