My Little Fortress: Friendship is explosive

Authors note: This is my first fanfic, so there will probably be spelling errors or other things (like forgetting a characters personality, Etc.) Please Comment on what you think and corrections that I may need to make in upcoming chapters and other storys. Thank you!

Chapter 1: meet the team

On a sunny day near Teufort, New Mexico, any single person can see what looks like two farms that trade with each other and are separated by a single bridge.

Obviously a person would be blind and deaf because it is nothing like that at all.

Because each building is owned by two brothers who both have hired 9 mercenaries from all parts of the world to continuously destroy each other, one group dressed in red and one in blue. The two teams, called "RED" and "BLU" have fought in various places for there bosses.

"I can do this all day!" said an young energetic voice with a Bostonian accent. "I'm a freakin' blur over here!" The RED Scout exclaimed. Just as he said it, he felt a usual pain in his back. The BLU Spy laughed. "You were as hoppy as a little bunny, weren't you?" he mockingly said.

Little did he know that he was being watched.

"Standin' around like a bloody idiot." A man wearing an Australian Slouch hat said to himself. The RED Sniper was looking at the BLU spy through the scope of his sniper rifle. In what seemed like only a second later, the BLU spy was on the ground dead thanks to the Australian Bushman. "Next time, stay in the respawn room you two faced backstabber." The RED Sniper tauntingly said.

The RED Scout came up behind him. "Why didn't you do that before that backstabbing scumbag got me?"

"Didn't see that he was behind you, I was taking out there heavy and medic," he said. Scout just grumbled to himself as he ran off to try to get BLU's intelligence once again. "Dodgy little hopper he is," Sniper said.

"I agree completely," said a French voice behind the Sniper. Before Sniper could turn around, the BLU spy had back-stabbed him. "All in a days work," he said as he disguised himself as a RED Soldier.

As BLU spy started to walk into RED's intelligence room, he was blasted to pieces by the real RED soldier. "WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I HATE FRANCE RIGHT NOW," said Soldier, "AND THE ONLY THING I HATE WORSE THAN FRANCE RIGHT NOW IS DISHONORABLE MAGGOTS LIKE YOU THAT WON'T LOOK ME IN THE EYE!" Soldier yelled at the dead Spy's body. "What just happened?" said the Demoman, who was drunk as usual. "I heard you yelling like your normal self solly," Demoman said, "Ye must have killed the small lass again, eh?" "This time it was old frenchie," Soldier said. Then Scout came running in with BLU's intelligence laughing. "What's so funny ball boy?" The Scout captured the intelligence, winning the match for RED and said "the BLU's knuckleheaded scout tried to catch me by doing a double jump," Scout said laughingly, "he messed up and fell in the water below the bridge!" Scout was still laughing as Heavy, Medic, Sniper, Pyro, and Spy came into the intelligence room to after there victory. "What is little Scout laughing about?" Heavy asked.

"Well, I just got BLU's intelligence whe-" Scout was cut off by the Engineers voice coming in through Snipers Radio.

"If you all don't mind, Ah need ya all to com inta' the respawn room."

Sniper Radioed back, "We're on our way mate."

"Much Obliged" Engineer said before cutting off.

"I'll tell you on the way heavy," Scout Said.

Chapter 2: SPY SAPPIN MAH' INVENTION!

Heavy was letting out a hearty chuckle as he heard the Scout's story. "Little baby man could not catch our baby man, so he go into water!" The Heavy let out with a laugh." yeah, yeah," Scout said. "dummkopfs," the Medic said, "How could you see ze comedy of a man falling into ze water under ze bridge?" "Sheesh, lighten up, doc! This is BLU we are talking about," Scout said.

"He's probably pissed off about what happened to the Nazis," Soldier said.

"NEIN!" Exclaimed the Medic. "I had nozing to do with ze Nazis," Medic said.

"If it wasn't you, then it was that damned BLU's medic!" Soldier exclaimed. "The Nazis damn well deserved what happened to them either way."

Sniper and Spy were talking to each other while the others argued as usual.

"Those bozos never shut there bloody lids, do they?" Sniper said.

"I'm afraid not, my Australian ally." Spy replied. Sniper scowled. "Well if whatever Engineer have planned will shut them up," he said, "The sooner we get to the spawn room the better."

Meanwhile In the land of Equestria,

Twilight Sparkle was just getting out of bed because she had stayed up late reading one of her newer books. "Spike? Where are you?" Twilight asked. "I'm down stairs twilight! I'm already cooking breakfast," Replied the small purple (and number 1 assistant) Spike.

"Ok, I'll be right down," Twilight said. Twilight fixed her mane to it's normal look, and then headed downstairs to where she smelt what was a wonderful breakfast. "That smells delicious, Spike! How long have you been cooking it?" Twilight asked. "it only took about 30 minutes," Spike replied happily. Shortly after they had finished eating, there was a knock on the door. "the door is unlocked, come in" Twilight said. She did not expect what she saw to say the least.

2Fort, an hour earlier

"Now that ya'll are all here, I want to show ya'll a new invention o' mine." The Engineer moved to the side as he proudly shown his "new invention".

"Uh, Mate, it looks like the old teleporter." Sniper said.

"Ah' know partner, but this right here is the new and improved teleporter!" Engineer exclaimed. "If it'll work like I hope, we'll be able to teleport ourselves into BLU's base and grab their ol' intelligence just like that!" Engineer said, snapping his fingers at the last word. "and we don't even need the exit teleporter with this one." Scout seemed interested. "Well, if dats' true, then it won't be so hard for me to grab their intel and get tha hell outta' there!" Engineer nodded. "Yep, that's the main reason I built the darn thing." Spy had a quizzical look on his face. "Well then, are you going to test it?"

"well of course partner! We're all gonna test it!"

Everyone looked at Engineer as if he had grown a second head.

"your going to what!" Solder exclaimed with surprise.

Soldier had no trouble with teleporting, he just didn't like testing out Engineer's new "toys" as Spy called them. "Holy Dooly!" Sniper exclaimed. "have you lost your bloody brain mate?" "Nope" The Engineer replied calmly. "Ah Mean it now. Ah made this thing to be able to teleport all of us at once to." Engineer said, "And that's what we're about to test." Reluctantly, everyone agreed and got on the Engineers new made contraption. "I'm positive everything will be just fine buckos." as The teleporter started to power up, Engineer stepped onto it with his fellow teammates. "This better work hardhat, or you won't see the light of day tomorrow." Soldier threatened, Sniper pushed Soldier back "give the bloody guy a break, if something bad does happen," "which shouldn't" Engineer interrupted. "then he'll suffer it with us," Sniper finished. "yeah, well he better." Soldier grumbled. Just as the teleported got to its highest point, a familiar voice which RED Sniper despised said "sorry to pop in unannounced, but I believe I can not let this happen." BLU Spy said as he placed his Electro-sapper on Engineer's teleporter.

"SPY SAPPIN' MAH INVENTION!" Engineer yelled.

Spy laughed as he walked off. "dammit dammit dammit dammit!" Engineer yelled trying to get rid of the sapper, but it was to late. "WHY I OUGHTTA CHOKE THAT TWO FACE BASTARD WITH HIS OWN FRILLY TRAINING-" Soldier yelled but RED team was teleported before he could finish.

The next things that happened was a blur to Sniper. What took only minutes seemed like years. "This is just great," he sarcastically said. Sniper looked around at his surroundings. He was inside what looked like a black hole, and he saw Engineers wrench fly he heard a cry of help from The Demoman. Sniper looked to his left where he heard him and saw Demoman about to be sucked into what looked like a portal. Sniper reached his hand out to grab Demoman and pulled him away just in time. "oi, thanks lad" Demoman thankfully said. "No problem mate" Sniper replied, "but we have to find the others."

Scout was floating slowly through what seemed like and endless tunnel.

And it was terrible.

Scout couldn't believe how bored he had gotten already. "If nuttin' don't happen soon, I'm gonna die of boredom instead of this black hole or whatever it is." He then heard a flash and saw a familiar-yet not so welcoming- face. "INCOMING!" Soldier warned the Scout. Scout dodged just in time but was able to grab the soldier. "Thanks shorty," Soldier said. "no problem helmet head," Scout replied.

Eventually they ran (or flew) into Engineer, Heavy, Medic, Pyro, Demoman, Sniper, and Spy. "Well thanks to that no good two faced piker" Sniper started, "no offense mate," he looked over at the Spy who calmly replied "none taken." Sniper continued, "It seems we are stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing to eat, drink, or wear! What do you suggest we do now?" Sniper asked Engineer. "Well," Engineer started, "It seems we are in a dimensional crossroad, and the vortex is trying to decide where to send us." Out of everyone there, only Sniper and Spy seemed to understand. "so" Spy started, "you are saying that this Black hole," Sniper finished for him "Is choosing somewhere for us to teleport to?" "yep." Engineer said "Ah just don't know where or when it will choose."

As soon as he finished that sentence, RED team went through one of the portals.

"that looks like a town full of… ponies?" Sniper thought before getting knocked out cold form the teleporting's blast.

Chapter 3: A New Friendship Begins

"You what?" Twilight asked a very shocked pony with a pale yellow coat and a pink mane. "I'm telling the truth Twilight. I looked out my window this morning and saw a gaping hole over Everfree Forest." Twilight had a thoughtful look on her face. "Ok then. We'll get Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash. Pinkie is taking care of pound and pumpkin cake today, so we won't bother her." Twilight said. "O-ok Twilight." Fluttershy replied her small voice.

Meanwhile in Everfree Forest….

Sniper was just waking up and looked around. "where the bloody hell are we?" He then heard scout complaining about a headache. "Oh man, now I know how Mr.T felt when Rocky started winning." Spy looked at him. "your not the only one boy. We must have collided heads during our teleportation." Spy said, holding his head the same as Scout. Soldier and Demoman were already up and arguing about something. Sniper walked over to listen, but wish he hadn't. "I'm Telling you! Stalin was involved in the battle of waterloo!" Soldier said. "No lad! Stalin was just a wee little baby!" Demoman yelled in response. "How in gods name did they get into this one?" Sniper thought. He then went over to Engineer, who was (somehow) talking to Pyro. "Hudda hudda humph." was all Sniper heard come out of Pyro's mask. But Engineer replied, "No, Y'all can't just burn the whole dad-burn forest just to see where we are! That's not mighty right of us pardner."

Sniper noticed a river. "Oi, you knuckleheads! I think I found a way for us to see if there is a village!" Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at Sniper. "In my years of survival in the outback, there's one thing I know: If you find a river, follow the current and you should find wildlife. Wildlife can be our food source, and maybe we'll find civilization." Everyone gave Sniper a blank stare at first, but then Engineer broke the silence. "He's right, if anyone knows anything about the wild, Sniper does." Everyone nodded in agreement. "then let's get goin'! Lead the way Sniper." Sniper nodded and lead the team down the river following the current. "Sure lets trust the bushman with our lives." Spy whispered. But Sniper's ears were as good as his eyes. "I heard that wankah." Spy immediately looked down and said "lead the way."

As the RED team got to a clearing, there hopes started to rise when they began to see what looked like a small town. "Well Sniper, looks light you were right." Scout admitted. "You just now notice?" Sniper jokingly said. Then, out of nowhere, Soldier and Demoman's argument started up again. " STALIN WAS IN WATERLOO AND SCOTLAND IS NOT A REAL COUNTRY!" Soldier yelled in Demoman's face. "NO! AND YES! THE PROUD LAND OF SCOTLAND BE REAL! AND YE BE WARNED,IF YE DON"T STOP, THEY"LL HAVE TO GLUE YE BACK TOGETHER IN HELL!"

"Oh great." Sniper muttered. Sniper then went to scan the area on a nearby rock while the others talked and argued.

Near RED's location…

"Darling, tell me again why you asked for our help?" Rarity asked. "Because Fluttershy said she saw something strange happen at Everfree Forest, so I agreed for us to check it out." "Well whatever it is, it better be small cause I gotta practice more for the Wonder bolts!" Rainbow dash said anxiously. "Just hold on there sugercube," Applejack said. "don't Y'all ever wanna stop that darn training?" Applejack asked Rainbow Dash. "Of Course not!" Rainbow Dash replied as if she had been asked to hurt someone. "Practice makes perfect, so I practice every second I can." meanwhile while Applejack and Rainbow were arguing, Fluttershy was talking to Twilight. "Twilight, do you think whatever were looking for will be friendly?" Fluttershy timidly asked. "I'm sure they will, don't worry about it." Twilight replied, trying to calm down a still nervous Fluttershy. "What in Celestia's name is that?" Rarity said. In the distance, they could hear a voice screaming "SCOTLAND IS NOT A REAL COUNTRY!" "What the buck is Scotland?" Rainbow Dash blurted out. "Let's get closer and investigate." Twilight said. The 5 ponies got into an area of tall grass. Twilight pushed some aside with her hoof to get a view of the voices, as the other ponies did the same. What they saw filled them with curiosity and fear.

Twilight was carrying a book with her about rare creatures, but these 9 creatures she saw were not in there anywhere.

She dropped the book in shock and the wind was somehow strong enough to blow the book away from her, but she didn't notice because she had her eyes on the 9 creatures. They were all dressed in unique red and black clothing (as rarity whispered) and were all walking on two legs. One was short, stocky and wearing a hardhat with a pair of goggles. He was looking at what Twilight figured was a blueprint.

The one he was talking to was the creepiest to the ponys. Fluttershy had her eyes mostly covered. The one the man in the hardhat was talking to was wearing some kind of mask and a full red jumpsuit. When whatever gender it was spoke, nothing came out but "hudda hudda humph." the ponies went left to right to look at each one.

There was one wearing a helmet that covered his eyes with odd, round shaped objects on a belt that he wore around his chest.

He was arguing with a creature that's skin was darker than the others, he had on an eye patch and even more little round objects on a belt he had on than the one with the helmet. Then there was one that Rarity looked at and said "he looks charming.. Whatever he is."

The others looked at who she was talking about. The male creature (they figured out that they were all male, except for the one with the mask because they couldn't see it's face) was wearing a mask that covered all of his face except for his eye's and mouth. He was also wearing a red suit.

He was talking to a creature that looked like them but was younger and more energetic. He was wearing a cap with a "earpiece" as she heard the man in the red suit say during their conversation. Then they were shocked as they saw the size of the next creature. He was a living giant that was bald with huge hands and an even bigger belly. He was talking to a man who was wearing glasses, had dark hair, had a white lab coat and red operation gloves on. "but Doctor, how could little man like that be able to eat that much?" the large one asked. "I don't know comrade, but he was one of ze biggest eaters in my hometown."

Then they looked at the last one, who caught Twilight's attention the most. He was a tall creature (but nowhere near as tall as the bald giant) he was wearing a hat that was turned up at one side and had on Orange sunglasses. He was wearing a black vest over a red T-shirt and brown pants and "shoes" as she heard the young one say, complaining about how his feet hurt in his. They started to whisper to each other about the 9 creatures.

But they didn't notice that there cover had been blown by one of them.

"Mates…." Sniper said quietly but loud enough for the rest of the team to hear, if there was no arguing.

"I AM RIGHT AND YOU KNOW IT YOU ONE EYED SON OF A BITCH!" Soldier tackled Demoman and they started fighting. Engineer, Spy, Pyro, and Scout had to work together to try and get them to stop.

"Mates….."

"I'M GONNA SEND YE TO THE DEVIL HIMSELF AND HE WON'T HAVE ENOUGH GLUE FOR THE PIECES YE"LL COME IN!"

"MATES! SHUT YA BLOODY LIDS!"

Everyone stopped suddenly because they had never heard Sniper yell. They were use to him being quiet, so this got their attention.

"Ahem. Sorry about that, I didn't want to yell but I thought you wankahs would want to know that we're bein' watched." everyone looked in the same direction Sniper was and saw five multi-colored ponies hiding in some tall grass. Fluttershy squeaked with fear upon knowing that they were seen. " Oh no…" was all that went through Twilight's head as the 9 men came towards them. "Why, der' nuttin but a bunch a ponies!" Scout blurted out. Rainbow Dash flew up to his face in a flash and said "Nothin but a bunch of ponies huh? I can prove you wrong. I'm the fastest Pegasus in all of Equestria!" Scout jumped back out of being scared and surprised. " WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!" Scout exclaimed. "They talk?" everyone else was shocked like Scout. Except for Sniper that is. "I heard these Shelias talkin' about me and you bloody pikers ever since I saw em'." Engineer looked at the ponies, and then at his team and said, "Come on fellas', we ought to show some manner's. A little "Southern Hospitality" if Y'all say so." Engineer walked up to Rarity first and said "howdy pardner, I'm Engineer." Rarity shook his hand gently as he told the ponies his acquaintance's names. Engineer then walked over to Applejack. "Howdy pardner." Applejack said. Enigineer felt happy to have anything, even a pony, talk in his Texan accent. Engineer and Applejack shook hand and hoof, which were both shaking vigorously. "Obviously that's how dey' shake hands in Texas." Scout muttered. After Engineer introduced himself to the other ponies, he introduced them to his team.

"The little pipsqueak" Engineer pointed at Scout who was having a staring contest with Rainbow Dash, "that there is Scout. I tell ya', he can run about fast as the wind." "Rainbow Dash chuckled saying, "I'd like to see that. I still bet he isn't as fast as me." Scout looked and Dash. "you wanna race?" Rainbow and Scout looked like they were about to make a break for it, but Engineer stopped them just in the nick of time. "we don't need that sort of thing right now."

Engineer then moved toward Heavy. "And this big guy here is Heavy," he said. "He ay look big and dangerous, which he is if he needs to be, but he really is a gentle giant so y'all don't be scared of him." Heavy nodded and said with a loud voice "Heavy is friend to all! Especially little tiny ponies!" medic moved from behind Heavy. "I am ze Medic. I heal my teammates and help zem with ze medical problems."

Spy then walked up to rarity, and (the others had no idea why) picked up one of her hoofs and kissed it. "I am the Spy, Ma Cherie." Rarity blushed. Never before has she met any creature, or any pony for that matter, with such grace and manners. Engineer just shook his head. "This here's Soldier. He's got anger issues at some times, but he's a good fella'. Soldier stood at attention and saluted the ponies while saying "Oo-rah." Engineer gave soldier a small salute in return and then returned to business. "This here's one of my best friends, Pyro." Engineer noticed that the ponies looked scared of Pyro. "Oh, don't Y'all worry now he ain't gonna do nothing to ya. He's as nice as anyone else round here." Pyro waved with a "hudda hudda hud," which sounded like "please to meet you." Engineer then moved on to Demoman. "This here's-" "Oi! Me bottle of Scrumpy be empty! What will I do with me self now?" Engineer scowled for Demoman interrupting him. "This here's Demoman." Demoman responed with a loud burp and by beating his fist on his chest twice.

Engineer then move to The last in line, Sniper (who was still scanning the area on the rock). "This is Sniper. Woo-wee, you wouldn't believe the good pair of eyes and ears he's got! But he is a loner. Spy seems at be the only one who he talks to." Sniper got off the rock and walked toward the ponies. Twilight looked at sniper with interest, because he seemed like one with great senses, something that Pincess Celestia would approve of. "G'day Shelias," is all that Sniper said. "Hello there Sniper," Twilight blurted out for some reason, which made her blush a little. Engineer was happy knowing that his team could make peaceful introduction of themselves. Sniper had a slight smile on his face when he saw that Twilight was blushing because she blurted out her welcome.

"Now, if you all don't mind me askin' but where are we and who's in charge?" Engineer asked. Twilight responded, saying "You're in the magical land of Equestria," said Twilight, "and it is ruled by our two princesses, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna." The 9 mercenaries nodded.

Sniper whispered to engineer, "Say mate, if this here is a magical land, maybe these Shelias can teleport us back to our own world." Engineer nodded in agreement. "it's worth a shot." Enigineer walked up to the ponies. "If Y'all don't mind, we'd like to go into your town and meet your princesses. We think they may be able to help us in our situation." The group of ponies huddled around. "I don't see why we can't," Twilight said. "yes, they do seem to be well behaved," Rarity said. "Especially the one in the nice looking suit." Fluttershy quietly said, "and if they are as strong as they look, maybe they can help us in Ponyville." RainbowDash agreed with Fluttershy. "Yeah! And I still wanna race that small one!" "Now just hold on Sugercube, what do ya thank the others will do when thay see these guys?" Twilight sighed. "Well Applejack, there's only one way to find out for sure.

Twilight turned around and said to Engineer "We'll take you into Ponyville." "Yee-haw!" was Engineers reply. "thank ya ma'am, we'll explain our situation to ya on the way." as everyone started to walk towards Ponyville, Twilight noticed that Sniper wasn't walking with them. "you coming?" Twilight asked while walking towards Sniper. "Yeah, I just don't like to walk in a crowd. Like Engie said, I'm a loner mate." Sniper replied. "but your welcome to walk with me if you wish." Sniper said as he started walking behind the group. "Ok! Do you want to explain your situation to me on the way to ponyville?" Sniper turned to look at her and said "I don't see why I can't Shelia." "I have one more question Mr. Sniper," Twilight said. "and what would that be mate?" Twilight seemed a little embarrassed to ask this, but she did anyway. "Why do you call me and my friends "Shelias"?"

Sniper laughed as he answered that question and more.

Chapter 4: Rise of The Dark Ones

G'day mates! RED Sniper here. My friend, Bushwhacka, is feelin' a little down so I'll tell you what he was going to say. First off, sorry it has taken so long for him to write this chapter. Second he wants to thank those that reviewed this story an those who have read it. Well, I gotta get back to the others, enjoy ya' good wankahs!

"So let me get this straight, You and your friends are from a different world and are hoping that the princesses can use their magic to teleport you back home?" Twilight asked RED Sniper. "yeah, that's what me and Engineer hope at least." Twilight, Sniper and the others were just coming into Ponyville.

Some of the towns residents were staring at the 9 RED members, and the RED team was trying to avoid looking back but looking as peaceful as possible. Sniper caught up to Engineer, who was talking to Applejack.

"hey, I hate to interrupt ya', but what are we gonna' do when they find out about what we do for a living? Cause they will find out sooner or later.

Engineer looked at Sniper and said, "Ah' know Sniper. I'm trying to plan that part out. For now, just be kind to every pony ya see round' here."

Sniper just nodded once but kept silent the rest of the way to Twilights house. When they got there, RED team couldn't believe their eyes. They were looking at a giant tree that had balconies and parts of a house connected to it. "This is your house Twilight?" Sniper asked in amazement.

"well, the bottom part is the library, the top is where me and spike live. Speaking of him, I need him to send a message to princess Celestia for you guys." Twilight said. Twilight ran in and told spike the message and explained why. Spike ran out to meet the newcomers, which scared him at first, but Fluttershy was able to calm him down quickly.

Demoman smirked. "A real dragon, eh? I've never seen em' with me own eyes." As everyone went inside twilights house, Spike ran over to Twilight.

"they have a unique smell on them, a combination of ash and something else, but I'm not sure." Spike started to walk off, but then remembered something. "hey Twilight! I forgot to tell you something."

Twilight looked back at Spike. "What is it Spike?" "While you were gone, these two big crates appeared in your room."

Twilight was confused by this. "Did Derpy mail them?" Twilight asked. "No, they were just…there." Spike replied.

Spy seemed to have overheard their conversation. "what two crates?" "oh nothing," Twilight started, "just Spike said there are to big crates in my bedroom." Engineer got involved. "do ya mind if we take a look at them? I've gotta' feelin'…" Twilight responded, "oh no, go ahead! I'll show you the way."

Engineer and twilight went up to her room for a few minutes. Then engineer came back down with an excited look on his face.

"Hey fellas! come look what I found up here!" The other 8 members of RED team followed Engineers voice until they got to Twilight's room and where shocked at what they saw. Inside the two crates were two things. One had all of their weapons and in the other one their hats!

" it's Just like Christmas morning." Sniper said with a chuckle as he put on one of his RED issued T-shirts with one of his favorite hats, The Anger, sowed onto the collar of the shirt.

"I must be dreaming!" Spy said, excited as he put on his fedora.

"How did our stuff get here?" Scout asked.

Engineer laughed. "Ah put all our stuff into two crates so nothing would have been teleported, but it must have been close enough ta' teleport!" Engineer said.

"Well at least we have somthin' to remind us of home" Sniper said. Suddenly, Spike's cheeks started to blow up.

" Is he alright Twilight?" Medic asked worriedly. Then Spike threw up a piece of paper. "does zhat happen normally?" Medic asked shortly after.

Twilight nodded, saying "that happens often. That's how I receive letters to Princess Celestia." Twilight looked at the letter. "it says,

"Dear Twilight, I am glad to hear that you have figured out what came to our world through the vortex. Princess Luna and myself are coming to meet these 9 humans that you speak of. Sincerely, Princess Celestia."

Twilight looked up at RED team. "The two Princess are coming here to meet you all.

Engineer nodded. "maybe she'll help us with our problem."

"how long will it take them?" asked Scout, who was looking for his sandman in the crates.

" Well, shes coming back from a trip to Appleloosa, so my best guess would be about 30 minutes, so we have time just to talk." Twilight said. Everyone was quiet for a while. Then a pink pony with a pink mane bursted into Twilights house.

"O-o-okay Twilight! I finished taking care of pumpkin and pund cake, so now I'm ready to-" She was looking at the 9 RED members which were caught off guard by Pinkie Pie. Pinkie started to float in mid-air and then dashed off.

"What in Roosevelt's good name was that?" Soldier asked.

"That was Pinkie pie. The pink pony I told you guys about on the way here." Twilight said.

"Why did she dash off like that?" Sniper asked.

Twilight giggled. "Oh that just means she's going to throw you a party."

"Yeah, that's what she did for Twilight when she first came here." Rainbow Dash said.

"I hate to say, but I hope we aren't gonna' be here long enough to have a party." Scout said.

As Scout finished that sentence, He saw what looked like a carriage flying through the sky. "what the…." Was all that came out of scouts mouth. Twilight looked out the same window he was.

"It's Princess Celestia! Come on guys!" Twilight said as she trotted out the door. Everyone else followed. When the mane 6 (or 5 since pinkie was not there at the moment) and RED got outside, they saw what looked like two ponies, except they were a Pegasus and a unicorn combined, had longer legs and a flowing mane. One was the bigger of the two. She had a White Coat and a flowing multicolored mane. The other one had a purple coat with a blue-purple mane. The RED team stared in awe as Princess Celestia said, "So you are the 9 brave warriors that Twilight Sparkle tells me about."

Engineer nodded. "Yes ma'am. Now if Twilight gave you a full description of what we do, we'd be much obliged if you would be so kind as transport us back to our home."

Princess Celestia sighed. "Honestly I wish I could help, but I know nothing of otherworldly teleportation." RED Team was devastated.

"Oh mah'…." Scout said sadly as soldier put his hand on Scout's shoulder.

"But Believe me I am going to try whatever I can to help you." Celestia said.

"We'd appreciate it mate." Sniper said

"Oi, excuse me lassie, but can you tell ye what time it is?" Demoman said.

"Well, it's only three days away from Nightmare night." Princess Luna Responded

Sniper looked at the sky. "Suns startin' to go down."

As day turned to night, RED team heard an all to familiar sound.

RED team and the ponies heard numerous howling. Wolves howling.

"Is that…." Soldier asked, a hint of fear in his voice. There were three things that Soldier hated. The Horseless Headless Horseman, hippies, and wild dogs.

"Those are Timber wolves… they normally howl on nights close to Nightmare night." Applejack said.

"are they normally dis' close?" Scout asked.

"No… that is strange." Twilight said.

Sniper looked towards the direction the howling was coming from.

Everyone curiously looked at Sniper and why he had a terrified face.

"INCOMING!"

Before anyone could react, a wolf like creature jumped off a roof and attacked Princess Luna.

"TAKE THIS!" Soldier said as he hit the wolf creature with his shovel, killing it.

"Sister!" Celestia exclaimed shocked.

"Move! schnell!" Medic said, reacting quickly to what he has seen numerous times. He Aimed his medi-gun at Luna and fired it up. Luna felt raw energy flow through her body as her wounds were healed in a matter of seconds.

Twilight and Celestia were bothed amazed and shocked. "How did you heal her that fast?" Twilight asked, amazed by what had just happened.

"My medi-gun can heal even ze worst of wounds."

Sniper, meawhile was looking at the Timberwolf. "Someone get over here." he said. Applejack sprinted over. "what is this?" Sniper asked her.

"Why, it's a Timberwolf, just like Granny Smith use ta' tell me and Applebloom. But they never looked like that." This Timberwolf was a Shadow black wit hred lines running across its body.

"looks like some kinda' demon dog." Scout commented. He then looked toward the town

"Yo! Theres more comin'! And there attacking the town and ponies!" Scout exclaimed.

Soldier's war instinct kicked in, and even though he was 90% war lover and maniac, the other 10% was a military mastermind. That 10% kicked in first.

"Team! Listen up! Medic and Heavy, you two go into the frontlines. Make sure you get that Ubercharge ready, doc."

"yah." Medic replied.

"Da" Heavy replied as well.

"Sniper, Get on top of the best sniping spot you can find and cover Heavy and Medic."

"You got it mate." Sniper said, keeping his cool.

"Scout, you get their attention and draw them into Heavy, Demoman, Pyro, and my fire."

"Gotcha'!" Scout replied.

"Engineer, you find a good spot to set up a sentry with whatever metal you can find. Spy, protect him. Make sure none of those wolfs attack him."

"but of course." Spy said.

"Allrighty then." Engineer said.

"You ponies can help however you can, but I would advise helping others find cover and safe havens." Soldier said to the ponies and two princesses.

"I can help scout!" Rainbow dash said as she and Scout darted off.

"Little blue pony is just like Scout." Heavy said.

"You said it, now let's go!" Soldier said as he let out a war yell.

"Ah'll help engineer." Applejack said as she went with engineer and spy.

"I-I'll help others get inside." Fluttershy said. An extreme wave of shock had come over her during Luna being attacked.

"I'll help her. We can use my boutique as a place for ponies to stay." Rarity said.

"Alright, I'll go with the princesses to help the others however I can." Twilight said.

When Twilight and Princesses Celestia and Luna saw shook them to the core. Buildings in Ponyville was mostly destroyed and saw more of the "Demon Dogs" as Scout named them. Heavy was mowing down demon dog after demon dog with Sascha, but there were literally hundreds of them. Soldier was hitting numerous wolfs with his rocket launcher.

"YOU JUST GOT DOMONATED YOU WALKING CHAIR!" Soldier exclaimed.

Twilight looked around again and saw RED team fighting the demon dogs, ponies screaming and finding cover, and then she saw Rarity taking ponies into he boutique. What Twilight also saw but rarity didn't was a demon dog about to attack her from behind.

"RARITY, LOOK OUT!" Twilight screamed franticly. Rarity turned around just as the demon dog pounced towards her. Twilight closed her eyes expecting the worse to happen to Rarity, but when she opened her eyes she saw that rarity was still standing and the demon dog was dead nearby. She wondered if Rarity had killed it, but she then saw that Sniper had saved her life. Sniper turned back towards RED's battle area as Twilight said a prayer of thanks.

Rainbow dash had been able to keep up with scout the whole time, but he was faster then she thought. ALOT faster.

"You run this fast all the time?" Rainbow dash asked as she tricked a couple of demon dogs to chase her into Pyro's flames.

"Yeah, I ain't even winded!" Scout said with a laugh.

"Incoming!" Scout said as he killed a demon dog with his force-o-nature.

"Thanks." Rainbow Dash said.

"Soldier, you need ze healing!" Medic said as he turned his medi gun on soldier, who had just tore a demon dog in half (they are TIMBER wolves, after all).

After soldier was back in tip top shape, he thanked the Medic and starting blowing more demon dogs away.

Soldier then heard a scream.

Soldier turned his head toward the sound and saw a gray Pegasus with a blond mane. Her eyes were looking in different directions, as if she had a extremely lazy eye. There were two demon dogs attacking her. She had cuts all over her but she wouldn't move. Soldier asked himself why she didn't get the hell out of there, but he then saw that she was protecting a young foal that had it's eyes closed behind her. Soldier, having some heart for civilians, charged toward the two wolves. "WHY YOU SISSIES OUGHT TO PICK ON A FIGHTER, YOU SCARED, DISHONORABLE MAGGOTS!" The two wolves turned toward Soldier, but before they could react, Soldier had jump on both of them with his trusty shovel. The Gray pony watched in shock as she covered her foal with her wing so that she could not see the brutality of a real soldier that Soldier was inflicting upon the two wolves. But they got some lucky bites and claws, but to no avail.

They wounded the beast, but they could not kill him.

As Derpy opened her eyes, she saw the strong, masculine new comer, one leg propped on one of the dead corps of the demon dogs, his clothes bloody and torn, looking at her. Derpy looked back at her and her foal's savior and weakly said, "T-thank you sir. You saved mine and my foal's life."

Soldier gave a simple nod and said, "It's my duty ma'am. Can you tell me who you are?"

"I'm Derpy." Derpy replied, still shook up. Soldier called for medic, who came over as fast as he could.

"Dumpkopf! You should not have run off like zhat! We don't have ze respawn machine here wiz us!"

Soldier breathed out, "S-sorry. C-Civilian in danger." Soldier said as Medic healed him and Derpy.

"Thanks doc." Soldier said as he ran off. Soldier then turned back towards Derpy. "Ma'am, miss Rarity is taking ponies into her boutique for a safe haven, I would advise you and your foal go there."

Derpy nodded and said, "Okay. Will I see you again sometime?" Derpy asked.

Soldier replied, "Maybe. If this fighting ends soon, I'll look for you."

Derpy nodded again as she headed for Rarity's shop. Soldier went back to the battlefield.

Twilight's observation deck

Sniper was picking off targets one by one as Twilight came into the house and went upstairs to where he was.

"Twilight, what in the blazes are you doin' here?" Sniper asked not looking away from his scope."

"How did you hear me over this battle?" Twilight asked.

"I heard the door open. I always listen out for enemies that could attack me from behind."

Twilight was impressed that Sniper was able to hear that well. She then saw two wolfs about to attack Demoman and said "Sniper, those two wolves are about to attack Demoman!" Twilight yelled in terror. Sniper didn't fire, he just aimed at them and watched. "Aren't you going to take them out?" Twilight asked, shocked that he did not do anything.

Sniper just stayed still and said, "I'm watin' for the right moment…" A second later, Twilight watched him fire his sniper rifle, taking out both dogs at the same time.

"How did you..?" was all that Twilight managed to say.

"I anticipated there movement so that I could take them both out at once. It takes the mout quicker and saves me ammo." Sniper said calm and collectively as he continued his sniping.

"Well, what is there I can do to help?" Twilight asked Sniper.

"I've had trouble keepin' an eye on Rarity's shop as well as me mates, so If you could go down there and protect her and the ponies inside, I'd appreciate it mate." Sniper said.

"Sure thing Sniper." Twilight replied as she ran out.

"I better watch her back as she heads down there…" Sniper said.

Heavy was mowing down wave after wave of demon dogs.

"Is good time to run, cowards!" Heavy roared as Sascha fired bullet after bullet into the body parts of demon dogs. "Doctor! Is Charge nearly ready?" Heavy said

"Nein, but almost there! It's at 80 percent!" Medic replied.

"Very well!" Heavy replied.

Demoman came up to them, blowing up some demon dogs on his way. "Me thinks we're startin' to push em' back, but these last ones seem to be a great bit stronger then the ones before." Applejack came up to them.

"Engineer want's at know how many of em are left. We've been hit hard but have returned just as hard." Applejack said.

"Tell him zhat zese last ones are harder to kill then ze others," Medic said.

"Allrighty" Applejack said. Just then a Demon dog jumped at Applejack, but she ducked just in time and kicked it in the face with her back hoofs.

"Good shot, orange pony!" Heavy said.

"Thank ya," Applejack replied as she went off to tell engineer what medic said. Suddenly Sniper Radioed in.

"These wankahs aren't goin' down easy. I'm goin' to get The Machina to add more firepower." Sniper said on the radio.

"Ok. We'll do our best while you're not available." Demoman replied. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, along with the others, came up to Heavy, Medic, and Demoman.

"We are going to have to work together to defeat these last ones." Princess Celestia said.

"Yeah, let's go!" Soldier Commanded. Everyone went to the final 4 demon dogs. They have gotten into a square to defend themselves, and were doing well against the royal guard that had shown up a few minutes ago. When the others got there, Spy aimed his Ambassador and fired 2 shots into one of the demon dogs head. It seemed to do damage, but it didn't kill it. The others joined in as well in the fight. One of the leader demon dogs jumped out and lashed at applejack, but Engineer shot it with the frontier justice and got a lucky critical hit to kill it.

"Thanks," Applejack said.

"Not a problem," Engineer said.

Scout hit one of the wolfs with his force-o-nature, dealing some damage to it. Then Rainbow dashed kicked it in the face for a combined effort as Soldier did the rest to destroy it.

"There's a dinga for ya'" Scout said

"Ha ha, Yeah!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

The third wolf was took down by a combined effort of Celestia, Luna, and the guards.

The last one however, was stronger in strength and mind.

"Ugh, I can't use my powers against it!" Luna said, shocked

"Neither can I!" Celestia said.

"This one has more dark magic than any of the others." Said Ambush, one of the guards.

Heavy stared at the dog.

"Doctor! NOW IS TIME!" Heavy bellowed.

"Yeah! ACTIVATING CHARGE!" Medic yelled as he flipped the switch.

Heavy felt the much welcomed energy flow through his veins as he let out one of Russia's most known and feared yells.

"URA!"

None of the ponies believed what had happened to Medic and Heavy. They were both glowing a reflective red, their eyes glowing yellow.

"What's happened to them?" Celestia asked Engineer.

"Well, you see, our Medic had this device surgically planted into us that allows us to be what he calls "Ubercharged." When one of us is Ubercharged, we become invincible and invulnerable."

"Amazing!" Luna said as they watched the Ubercharge Heavy and Medic pour all their ammo into the final Demon Dog.

The Dog tried to fight, but it couldn't do anything against the Medic/Heavy team. The Demon Dog let out a Final roar before it shattered into hundreds of dark pieces.

Everything was silent for a moment, but then everyone started to cheer.

They had won.

"We did it!" Twilight said. Everyone cheered each other and rallied, but Spy was looking around.

"What's wrong?" Twilight asked him, "We won!"

Spy looked at her.

"I know madam, but I do not see Sniper." Everyone stopped for a second to look around for Sniper.

Then They heard Engineers radio.

"Sniper, is that you?" Engineer asked. He was answered by coughing and static.

"There's *static* in here, I need he-*static* LET'S HAVE A GO YOU BLOODY PIKERS!" Everyone had gathered around Engineers radio now. "Engineer *static* Code Black, Demon *static* in Twilights house, Need help as soon as possible. Holy…AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Ponies and Red Team jumped at the sound of Snipers Blood curdling scream of pain, and then they heard a wolf howl. The Radio went to nothing but static.

"Oh my god…. We gotta get to Twilight's house now!" Scout said as he, Rainbow, and the others ran as fast as they could to Twilights house.

"Fluttershy, go get Nurse Redheart." Celestia told her. "Be brave my little pony. I have faith in you." Fluttershy nodded as she flew as fast as she could to get Nurse Redheart.

Twilight's house, 3 minutes later.

When everyone arrived at Twilight's house, it looked like a bomb had hit it. There were broken windows, the door was shattered, and one of twilights decks had fallen off.

"Sweet Celestia," Twilight said with tears in her eyes. She ran in to find Sniper.

Everyone followed her but they were all cautious once they entered the home. Parts of the inside was wrecked, and they followed a blood trail up the stairs to Twilights room.

There they saw a sickening sight.

There were numerous dead bodies of demon dogs, along with blood, all over the floor and walls.

"Mary mother of God…" Engineer said as he saw the sight. Applejack couldn't hold it back. now she threw up after seeing all the blood.

"Where's Sniper?" Twilight asked franticly.

Spy walked over to a certain area. "This way," he said. "I've seen Sniper's blood enough to know that this is his." Spy said as he followed the trail. Everyone followed Spy until they got to an observation deck that had one of Twilight's telescopes on it.

"There!" Rainbow dash said, pointing her hoof at a corner of a wall. Sure enough, there was Sniper.

When they got a good look at Sniper, he was in terrible condition. His clothes were torn, he had scratches all over his legs and arms, and he had a Single Claw Mark on his face, it going over his right eye. Medic checked his eyes first.

"Both his eyes seem to be alright even though his face was clawed. He still has a pulse." Medic set as he got out an old fashioned first Aid kit.

"Why not use your medigun?" Luna asked.

"Ach, ze only setback wiz my medigun iz zat it will only work for zo long. Normally, when I respawn, ze timer will reset, but I used all of zat time during our battle and I have to let it reset." Medic said as he worked on Sniper's wounds.

Nurse Redheart just came into the room. "Princess, I heard you needed my assistance.. Oh my!" She said as she saw Sniper's wounds.

Medic saw Nurse Redheart. "Good, I am in need of assistance, Mein Fraulien" Medic said as Nurse Redheart came over.

"What can I do to help?" Nurse Redheart asked. The others were tending to there own wounds, physical and mental, as they hoped Sniper hadn't left them.

"Here," Medic said, pointing to Sniper's left leg, "put pressure to his leg."

Red Nurseheart did as Medic told her with precise precision which impressed Medic.

"You must have had a lot of training," Medic Complimented.

"Well, I have been a Nurse a long time," Nurse Redheart said, blushing a little as she did.

Sniper started coming to. "Bloody demons…" Sniper said with a groan as he held his eye where he had his scar. Twilight immediately ran up to sniper and hugged him, crying.

"oh, We thought we lost you!" Twilight said as she buried her head into his shoulder.

"Aw, I'm alright mate. I've slept in the corpses of Water Buffalo tougher than those wankahs." Sniper said as he got up.

Spy came over with Sniper's shades and his knife, The Bushwacka.

"I believe zis is yours." Spy said as he handed them to him.

"Thanks mate." Sniper said as he put on his shades, which hid the scar that went over his right eye. "I still got my eyes and ears, which make me just as deadly as before." Sniper said.

"You were real good soldier to be able to fight those things on your own," Soldier said.

"Ah, Piece of piss," Sniper said in his trademark low tone.

As Medic's medigun (after it reset) healed the scars on Sniper, Celestia looked towards the ponies that had gathered around Luna and herself. "My ponies, the threat from these demon dogs is over." Everyone Cheered as they realized that they won, but at a cost.

"I also give my deepest condolences to those that have lost a family member or friend, whether he or she was fighting these things" She said as she saw some ponies who looked like they had been crying for their lost loved ones.

"I must also ask of you. These 9 creatures may not be from here, but they are hero's and have my highest regards." Celestia said as she looked towards the RED team.

Sniper noticed spy blushing as she complimented on them, but he was a professional and would save the making fun of him for later.

"So I ask of you all, can anypony give these 9 heros a home until they can build there own?" Surprisingly to Celestia and Luna, but not to the RED team, no one offered at first.

Then, Derpy stepped forward. "I can House Soldier," she said as she looked at him. "I feel like I owe him for saving me and my little ditzy doo."

Soldier simply nodded with a smile on his face. He couldn't remember the last time a civilian said something good of him.

"I can house some people," Applejack said as she stepped forward. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity stepped forward and said the same thing shortly after Applejack did, one by one. Celestia nodded and said, "Thank you for your care."

After discussing it, Medic and Heavy would stay with Fluttershy, Engineer and Pyro would stay with Applejack, Soldier would stay with Derpy, Demoman would stay with pinkie, Scout would stay with Rainbow Dash, Sniper would stay with Twilight (not to mention clean up, which Sniper agreed to help since he caused the mess.) and Spy would stay with Rarity.

As Celestia and luna prepared to leave, Celestia turned towards the mane 6.

"I fear that this attack by the cursed Timberwolves is just the beginning of something bigger. Be alert and Do everything that you can to protect everypony. I trust RED team after they helped save us and my sister when she was hurt, so if something like this happens again, do not fight alone. They are trained warriors and there help is greatly appreciated." The Mane 6 nodded and waved goodbye as Celestia and Luna left.

"Well, all of my party equipment is at my house, so we might as well have a celebration party for our victory!" Pinkie Pie said. The others cheered as pinkie ran off and came back in seconds with her party equipment and set it all up.

"She always move that fast?" Sniper asked twilight as Pyro lit the candles with his/her hands, which excited Pinkie.

"Yeah, always." Twilight said as her and Sniper watched the others go into mane square to celebrate their victory.

"are you going to go to the party or are you going loner?" Twilight asked Sniper. Sniper looked at her.

"Well, I'm always a loner in battle," Sniper started, but stopped as he saw Twilight look down, as if she wanted him to go to the party with her. Sniper coughed, getting her attention.

"but, I think I'll join the others for the party, I got tomorrow anyway." Sniper said as he stroked Twilights mane.

Twilight smiled and said, "What are we waiting for then?"

Sniper and Twilight walked towards Mane Square to get some muffins that Derpy had baked.

Everfree Forrest…

"Well that didn't work brother," said a female voice. There were two figures in a cave. They were both shaped like ponies. One had the body of a mare, about Princess Celestia's height, but was white and had a ghostly, transparent mane and tail. It's face was frozen in the style of a theatrical mask, one of terror. The other was a stallion that was the same height and that was completely a dark Shadow. It had no face, only blood red eyes.

"Sister, I didn't say it would work, I said I would do it." the Shadow Stallion said.

"I know, but I didn't expect it to work," The ghost mare said.

"So what do you think we should do now to try and get rid of the elements of harmony?" The Shadow Stallion said.

"I'm not sure, I did not expect those 9 otherworlders to come here. We should try and lure them, along with the Mane 6, into the diamond caves and destroy them." Ghost mare said with an evil laugh.

"Yes, that should do it," Shadow Stallion said, laughing with his sister.

"Equestria will fall when they face the full power of The Ghost's Shadow!

What will happen now that the townspeople knows what RED does for a living, and how will these two new villains effect them and the Mane 6? Will the Mane 6 be able to stop them with the help of the RED team? Or will "The Ghost's Shadow" succeed? Find out in the next chapter, How to hit a ghost!

Chapter 5: How to hit a ghost

Fluttershy's house 2 days after the demon dog battle…

Heavy was inside, asleep as Flutershy walked by him. Then, in the corner of her eye, Fluttershy saw Medic outside, petting a dove that had flown into his hand. Fluttershy came out to join him.

"That dove seems to like you," She said as the dove flew up and perched onto Medic's shoulder.

"Yah, I had a pet dove I called Archimedes back on my world. I hope I did not leave ze windows open." Medic said worriedly.

"Oh, I'm sure he is fine, he probably just misses you." Fluttershy said, trying to cheer him up.

"I hope so. How is Heavy?" Medic asked.

"He seems a little sad at times, but other than that, he seems to be doing well." Fluttershy replied. "Do you know why he's sad sometimes? I ask him about it, but he tries to hide it." Fluttershy meekly said.

"Ze only thing I can come up wiz is zhat he is worried about his family," Medic Said.

"Heavy has a….family?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yes, he has his mother und sisters," said Medic, "he works with RED to feed zhem, but he never has any contact from zhem. He worries zhat zhey zhink he's dead." Medic said, a tone of sympathy in his voice.

Fluttershy looked like she was about to cry. "That's so sad, not knowing if your family knows that you still exist," she said.

"Yes," Medic agreed, "And ever since we have gotten here, he has told me how you remind him of one of his sisters that he cared for most." Medic said.

"I…I do?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yes. He said zhat like you, she was always shy, but had a tender heart for nature. He said he always loved and protected her." Medic said. "Though now, ever since he joined RED, he worries about her." Medic Said. "In a way, I zhink that he zhinks of you to be a pony version of her."

Fluttershy was in awe. She never thought that anypony or anyone would be like her.

Medic sighed. "He is not ze only one. Engineer has a divorced wife and daughter, Scout has his mozher, Sniper has his parents." Medic said.

She then heard Heavy waking up, saying, "I wonder what is for breakfast." Fluttershy looked towards Heavy's voice and saw him waving at her through the window.

"Good morning, nature pony! What is for breakfast?" Heavy asked.

"Don't worry Heavy. I can get something started," Fluttershy said, smiling.

"I believe I vwill join you two for breakfast. I have not had anything to eat myself." Medic said.

As Fluttershy and Medic walked toward her house, Medic asked her, "Do you know if Nurse Redheart vwill be busy today? I would like to discuss ze wunders of medicine with her."

Fluttershy replied, "I don't think she is busy today. Do you know where the hospital is?"

Medic nodded, saying, "I saw it during our battle." Then they stepped inside for breakfast.

Applejack's house…

Engineer was leaning against Applejack's bran, eating an apple for breakfast. Pyro was still asleep in the barn. Engineer knew that sleeping in a barn wasn't much, but the hay was surprisingly comfortable and Engineer was to modest to ask Applejack for a room in her house. Applejack's farm reminded him much of his home in Bee Cave, Texas and how him and his dad would work on gadgets together.

Bee Cave, Texas

"Dell, can ya hand me tha electrode stabilizer?" Dell's Father asked him.

"Sure thang dad!" Said a once then 13 year old Engineer. Dell Reached into a Tool box and pulled out a wire that had a gauge on it. Dell's dad grabbed the wire and put it into a dispenser they were working on. Dell was wearing his goggles and hardhat, his dad had gotten them both for his 13th birthday.

His dad smiled at him. "Son, you're a big help to me and your mother. I was so proud of ya when you built that self vacuuming vacuum cleaner for ya mother. It has been a big help to her," He said.

"Aw, that was nothing' dad, just somthin' to help my momma out." Dell said.

"Your mother also told me you were takin' guitar lessons at school while I was gone to work," Dell's dad said.

"Well, yeah. I practice whenever you were gone and we couldn't build together." Dell Said. His father smiled at him.

"Yer' a god send to me and your mother Dell," Dell's dad started, "and I hope I can raise ya' to be the best engineer in tha' world."

Dell looked at his dad. "But dad, that will never happen," he said.

"Why not?" his dad asked, curious.

"Because dad, you're the greatest engineer in the world," he said, looking up to his father.

"Aw, come here." Dell's dad said, wrapping his son in a hug.

End of flashback…

Engineer smiled, remembering the warm memories of him and his father. He didn't notice Applejack standing there.

"Engie, ya' there?" Applejack said. Engineer shook his head.

"Yeah, what can I do for ya Applejack?" Engineer asked.

"oh, Nothin, Ya'll were just starin inta space, I was wonderin' if ya were ok," She said.

"Yeah, just remembering something about home," Engineer said.

Applejack looked at him and tried to change the subject. "Oh… So can ya' tell me what those uh, "BLU" fellows were like?" She asked him.

Engineer looked at her and sat down. "Well, they look just like us, they just act a little differently. And I don't know if our names are different from theirs," he said. "All I know about that is that mine and Sniper's names are different from the BLU's Engineer and Sniper. I think their Engineer's was…. Jack Parsons and their Sniper's was Steve Mundy. But Mine is Dell Conagher and Sniper's is Nick Walker," Engineer said.

"Is that tha only thang that differs you guys?" Applejack asked.

"as far as physical appearances and names, yes." he said. "But there is another thing that differs us." Engineer said. "And that's our hats."

"Your hats?" Applejack said, confused.

"Yeah. You see Applejack, we were feeling kind of paranoid about killing people that looked just like us. So when the Office allowed us to wear hats, we started wearing whatever hats we could find." Engineer said. He then chuckled. "We kinda went over tha edge with some of our hats," He said jokingly.

Applejack laughed. "With some of tha hats I saw in those two crates, I'd say your right." They both laughed as Rainbow dash and Scout came towards them.

"I told you I'd win!" Scout said. Rainbow was breathing hard.

"Well, if I hadn't run into that flock of ducks, I woulda won!" Rainbow Dash returned.

"Sure, sure." Scout said.

"Now what's tha point of you two comin' here and arguing?" Engineer asked.

"Oh, Sniper wanted me to tell you and the others that him and Twilight are holding a meeting at Sugarcube Corner," he said.

Engineer sighed. "Alrighty then, me and Applejack will head that way after I wake up Pyro."

Alright. I'm going to Fluttershy's house now, then me and Rainbow will head back to where we're meeting."

Rainbow looked at Scout. "Round two?"

"Oh, your on!" Scout said.

"ok then, you start counting." Rainbow said.

"Alright. One….two…."

"THREE!" Rainbow interrupted, dashing off before scout could react.

"Hey!" Scout yelled, chasing after her.

Pyro was just waking up. "Hudda hmpf?" Pyro asked.

"Yeah, that was Scout. He said Sniper and Twilight wants at see us at Sugercube corner."

Pyro nodded as they started walking towards Sugarcube corner.

Sugarcube corner, 3 minutes after everyone finished eating…

Everyone looked at each other, talking and arguing, until Twilight got their attention.

"Is everyone here?" she asked out loud.

"I couldn't seem to find Spy this morning," Rarity said.

"I am right here, madam," said the Spy, who appeared right behind the Sniper, who started to turn around to break Spy's arm before stopping himself.

"Don't do that mate, you know how BLU Spy's got me on edge with that," he said.

"Sorry, I forgot," said Spy, who was holding his arm incase Sniper was not able to stop himself from years of reaction.

"So anyway…." said Twilight, who was annoyed by Spy's entrance, but was to polite to show it, said, "Princess Celestia sent me a letter saying that there has been some activity that is related to the demon dog attack near the diamond caves, and she wants us to check it out."

"Really?" Soldier asked.

"Yes, and she also said that she was sending some of the Royal Guard to assist us," Twilight had a quizzical look on his face. "Well who's gonna protect the town if another attack happens?"

Twilight responded, "She said that she will have her eye on Ponyville and alert us if we are needed." Everyone just simply nodded as they headed out towards the diamond caves, where they would meet up with the Royal guard.

Later, Evertree Forrest…

As the mane 6 and the RED team were walking toward the Diamond caves where the Royal guard was waiting for them, the ponies asked the 9 mercs about their lives before they joined RED team.

They never liked the subject, but they figured it would pass the time and they owed them for giving them shelter. Engineer started first, telling about how he would build things with his dad when he was young, how he got numerous college degrees in science, technology, mathematics, and mechanics. He told how his great-grandfather invented the Respawn machine, and other inventions. The ponies seem amazed at how engineer could be so educated.

Soldier then told his story, a story of war and horror. He told how when he was a Sgt. And how he fought on the Omaha Beach in Normandy, where he lost plenty of friends. The ponies looked like they were about to cry, but Soldier reassured them by telling them that thanks to engineer's great- grandpa's respawn machine, there has not been a single casualty since then.

As the ponies and RED came to the entrance to the Diamond Caves, they saw 4 stallions dressed in armor. Two of them were white and had golden armor, the other two were the same color as Luna, but they had the wings of a bat.

"You are the ones our fair princess told us about?" said Iron side, one of the white stallions.

"Yes," replied Twilight. "Princess Celestia told us what she wanted us to do, and I figure you're here to help us," she added.

The four royal guards nodded. "We were told that Miss Rarity would lead us in the caves," said Darkstar, one of the bat winged guards.

Rarity sighed. "Sadly, yes. I know the tunnels by heart, but I hate getting dirt all over me." she said, shuddering at the word dirt.

"Well, we better get moving," said Soldier, anxious to get inside, just to fight.

"Alright then. Miss Rarity, if you would lead the way," said Ironside as Rarity walked into the front of the group. Carefully everyone followed Rarity into the caves, the tunnels were big enough where the RED team could stand at full height, even Heavy.

"Reminds me of some of the caves back in Australia," Sniper commented.

Deeper inside the cave…

"There here, just like you planned," Shadow Stallion reported.

"Good brother. Soon, the right moment will come, and we shall destroy them." Ghost Mare said, a evil tone in her voice. She would probably have a evil smile, but her face is stuck in a state of terror.

"Shall I send out the first wave of shadow strikers?" Shadow Stallion asked his sister.

"not yet," Ghost mare said. "Wait for them to come deeper into the caves, so that we can surround them so they can't escape."

Shadow Stallion nodded, then walked over to his sister to look into a white mist that was showing an image of The ponies and RED team.

"If I am right, which I normally always am, they are approaching one of the center rooms of the cave."

Shadow Stallion smirked. "The same place where we killed those Diamond dogs that were snooping around."

Ghost Mare nodded. "And the Elements of Harmony shall join them there. Send out the shadow strikers."

Center of Diamond Cave…

The royal guard, mane six, and RED team were just now coming into what Rarity said was "the center of the Diamond Caves".

Engineer looked around. "Ah Hope tha' Structure of this cave will hold, or else we ain't gonna be able to go back." he said, looking at the cave ceiling.

"Don't worry," Rarity said, "the ceiling will hold as long as it is not severely damaged," she said confidently.

"If you say so." Scout said, looking at the ceiling.

Sniper looked to his right at a tunnel that lead deeper into the cave. "Ya hear that?" He asked. Fluttershy got worried and hid behind heavy, who was holding Sascha.

"What did Sniper hear?" Heavy asked.

"I'm not sure mate, but it sounded like multiple footsteps, and there moving towards us. Fast." he said. RED team readied there weapons, waiting for whatever was coming towards them.

Just as Sniper saw a silhouette, he aimed his rifle untill he said, "Is that a dog?"

A small demon dog (about spikes height) came running out of the tunnel, screaming and running towards the direction that RED and the ponies came in.

"What in bloody blazes was that?" Demoman asked.

"Uh, I think we got bigger problems," Scout said, pointing towards the tunnel. Everyone looked towards the tunnel, and suddenly…

"PONY DOWN!"

Nighthoof, one of Luna's guards, went down with a slash on his chest, yelling in pain.

"Where the bloody hell did that come from?" Sniper yelled, looking around with his Huntsman. The cave was big, but there were no good sniping spots, so he got his Huntsman and SMG instead. He loaded the Huntsman, looking around, just as the others did.

Twilight's horn was glowing, ready to attack, but she didn't see anything.

Then, another slash was heard, and scout held his arm in pain. " Yo Doc!" Scout yelled, Medic healed him as soon as he said it.

"Where in tarnation are thay?" Engineer said, looking around with his Frontier Justice

Spy then said, "I see one, zhey look like a ponie's shadow, but with claws and wearing masks, all I see are zhere eyes."

Rainbow Dash looked around. "If there Shadows, we need a fire to light the room up."

Pyro, surprisingly, had a tree branch that he collected on the way to the caves. He lit it on fire and threw it into the middle of the room. When he did, several Shadows could be seen, all in a V formation.

"Let's go!" Rainbow said, charging at one of the Shadows, The Shadow simply disappeared and Dash went straight through it. Rainbow stopped herself just in time before flying straight into the cave's wall. The Shadow reappeared, in the same place as it was. Then, the Shadow Strikers attacked, lashing out at the RED team and the Mane six with their claws, The others fought back, but to no avail, their gunfire, kicks, punches, and magic would just simply go through the shadows, yet the Shadows could hit them.

Medic was healing everyone as fast as he could, but it seemed like for evey wound he healed, two more took its place. "If we do not stop zhese shadows, we will be destroyed!" Medic yelled.

"You don't say doc," Soldier said, trying to destroy a shadow with his rocket launcher.

Twilight and Sniper were side by side, trying to destroy the shadows.

"got any bright ideas mate?" Sniper asked Twilight. Twilight thought, and then it hit her.

"I have one. If we can't hit the shadows, maybe our shadows can!" she said. Sniper had a quizzical look on his face, so Twilight showed what she meant. "Applejack, look at your shadow and buck the shadows with yours!"

Applejack looked at her at first, but then said, "Well, nothing' else ain't a workin". Applejack looked at her shadow, and kicked her back legs towards one of the shadows with hers, and surprisingly, the shadow was hit, disappearing into a puff of smoke.

"Your right!" Sniper exclaimed. He saw a shadow, and kicked him with a karate kick (karate sniper anyone?) destroying the shadow striker in one blow.

The others caught on, and started fighting the same way, making short work of the shadows. Medic was finally able to heal Nighthoof, who thanked him. "Thank you, Medic," he said.

"It is my job" Medic replied.

Fluttershy, who had hid in a corner during the fighting, came up to Heavy, shaking. "I-is it o-over?" She asked timidly.

Heavy got down on one knee, saying, "Da, little yellow pony, it is over. Do not worry though, Heavy will protect you as he will protect all things good." Fluttershy smiled, feeling safer thanks to heavy's words.

Rarity walked up to heavy before catching up to Spy. "Thank you darling, she seems to feel much safer around you." She said.

"Do not worry, I will take care of her." Heavy said. Rarity smiled and then walked off to talk with Spy.

Ghost's Shadow location…

"How did they find out how to beat them!" Shadow Stallion said, enraged.

"Do not worry brother," Ghost Mare said, trying to calm him down.

"We will just have to Teleport to a safer location for the time being, and rethink our strategy." Ghost Mare hated to admit to losing, but she knew that sometimes it was wiser to fall back.

"Alright sister." Shadow Stallion said, anger in his voice, anger so deep it seemed to even scare Ghost mare some.

Ghost Mare and Shadow Stallion joined hoofs (Don't get any ideas here, they ARE brother and sister.) and a combination of black and white light encircled them, they disappeared, with a piece of paper taking there place.

The others are now

Coming were the Ghost's Shadow

Was, about 3 minutes after the Teleported.

The others were coming into a larger room, almost as big as the center of the cave, where Rainbow Dash noticed a letter.

"What's this?" she said, picking it up with her mouth and handing it to Scout.

"I don't know," Scout said, giving it to Twilight. Twilight picked it up with her magic, opening it and she read it aloud. As she read it, Twilights expression became more and more terrified.

" To the Mane six who find this note, Let it be known that there is no hope. Equestria will surely fall, and not you, The humans, or Celestia can stop it at all. When the time comes for Nightmare Night, Equestria will fall by the stroke of Midnight."

And then she saw a Scratchy signature, writing in the same color as blood.

ThE GhOsT's ShAdOw

" I don't like the looks of this," Sniper said in a deep tone.

"Well, we have ta' warn Princess Celestia!" Applejack exclaimed.

"We can take the letter to her." Said one of the Guards. Twilight handed the note to them, and Darkstar, one of Luna's guards, was a unicorn and used his magic to teleport the guards back to Celestia's castle.

"Well, we should get back to ponyville." Engineer Suggested.

Twilight nodded and, using all of her power, teleported everyone back to Ponyville.

The morning of Nightmare night…

Twilight was reading a letter which was from Celestia to The RED team and the Mane six. It Said,

"Dear Twilight,

I received the letter from my guards and am telling you that Luna and I will be at Ponyville during Nightmare Night to help protect ponyville. We will not sto pthe celebration, but everyone will be on guard. Tell the RED team that there contribution is highly appreciated.

Sincerley,

Princess Celestia."

Everyone nodded, and they al agreed to help set up for Nightmare Night. RED was think of costumes for Halloween, and Engineer was thinking as Applejack interrupted him.

"Excuse me Engineer, but I was wonderin', do Y'all mind if I stay with you fer a while, I'd just like to talk, and maybe I can help you find a costume."

Engineer smiled, saying, "Why, Sure ma'am, Your much welcome to join me." They both smile at each other as they walked off toward Sweet Apple Acres."

"She is very sweet and beautiful… What am I thinking'? She's a Pony fer' goodness sakes! Still…" Engineer Thought, looking at Applejack.

"He is Very smart and handsome, but he's a human and I'ma pony, it couldn't be… could it?" Applejack thought, looking at Engineer.

Then Both there minds cleared and they realized that they had stopped walking and were staring at each other. They both blushed.

"Well, we better get on back," Engineer said, chuckling.

"Yeah." Applejack said chuckling also.

They didn't know that they were not the only ones with those thoughts.

Whew mates! That chapter was a real Crocodile biter! Sorry it took me so long, but I finally finished it. I'll try to get chapter 6 up as soon as possible, but I won't be able to do that much story writing while the last days of school are still here. Anyway, Comment, and keep reading mates!

Chapter 6: Here We Go Again…

A/N: sorry it took me so long to get this chapter up. I'll try to work faster next time.

Scout was asleep on a makeshift bed in a room that Rainbow Dash could spare. Ever since the first day they got here, he had stayed with Rainbow Dash thanks to a spell Twilight cast on him, allowing him to walk on clouds.

Scout was having a dream, one that was like dreams he had before. He was in a small room, with expensive paintings hanging on the wall and expensive furniture in the room. He was sitting on a couch when he heard the door open. The room was lowly lit, so he couldn't see who opened it. He could hear walking, but it sounded like the thing was walking on all fours. He then heard a feminine voice.

"You look tensed. Maybe I can help you relax," the voice said seductively.

"Yeah," Scout said. He heard the figure coming closer to him, her lips puckered up as she was going to kiss him. He puckered his lips up to, waiting for the girl. The first thing he saw when he could see her in the low light was a rainbow mane.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Scout yelled as he woke up. "Did I just…" he said after rubbing his eyes. Then, he looked under the covers. His "Bat" looked like it was ready to hit a homerun. "You've gotta be kiddin' me," he muttered, and then facepalmed. He then saw Rainbow Dash walking towards the room, so he started acting like he was just getting up.

"Scout, you ok?" Rainbow Dash asked as she walked into the room. "I heard you yell."

"Yeah, I'm fine, but could ya give me a few to get my clothes on?" Scout replied. He was hiding his thin frame and his "bat" under the covers.

"Ok, I'll cook breakfast. Hope you don't mind vegetables," Rainbow Dash said.

"You sound just like my ma with all these vegetables," Scout muttered. Dash chuckled, then walked off towards the kitchen.

As Scout watched her walk off, he couldn't help but look at her backside. He then slapped himself when he realized he was staring at her flank.

"Get it together man, you'd be the laughing stock of the team if they knew you thought a pony was sexy," Scout said. He then slapped himself again as he realized what he had just said. "Now you're just admitting what they want to hear." Scout said to himself. Scout sighed and started to get dressed.

As he looked at his shirt, he sighed. It was the same red shirt his ma gave to him the day he left to work with RED. Scout sighed again, wondering if he would ever see his ma or his brothers again. When he first got to RED's location, he was a little paranoid when he saw that the BLU scout looked just like him. At first, he thought it was one of his brothers fighting him, and he's still not sure if he is right or not, but he didn't seem to care. He slipped on his shirt and the rest of his clothes and walked into the kitchen, where Rainbow Dash had finished cooking. She was sitting at the table, reading a book from the Daring Do series. Scout looked in disbelief.

"I didn't think you would read," Scout said. Dash looked at him and laughed.

"I know, but I actually like reading when I'm not working or exercising. The Daring Do series is my favorite," she said. She explained Daring Do's purpose to Scout and she also told him about the first book in the series, which she remembered word for word.

"She sounds a lot like you, winger" Scout said. Rainbow blushed a little at the complement.

After they had finished eating, which Scout had to do his best not to get sick because he hadn't eaten vegetables in a long time, they started to go to ponyville to meet the others. While Rainbow could fly down there. Scout had to walk on the clouds to get there. Which took him longer.

When he finally got down to the ground, he said, "Man, I gotta find a faster way of getting down here."

"I'll see if I can get Twilight to get you a hot air balloon," Dash said. Scout started to ask why ponies had hot air balloons, but he then dismissed the question for later.

Scout and Dash walked towards Rarity's house, just to annoy her and Spy some. When they got there, they could see Rarity making another outfit. Rainbow knocked on the door.

"Oh, Come in!" Rarity said. Dash and Scout walked into the boutique. "Oh, welcome darlings. Took an afternoon nap did we?"

Scout nodded. "Well, surprisingly, I was still tired from the fight yesterday in the caves. But anyway, what are you working on?" Scout asked.

Rarity's eyes seemed to brighten, and she immediately started talking about what she was making. "Why, its my outfit for Nightmare Night! I have worked on it ever since late last night, and I am making sure I get everything right down to the stitching. Are you wearing anything for Nightmare Night?" Rarity asked.

Scout stopped for a moment. "Uh, yeah, course I am!" He said. But Dash could tell by the look on his face that he had not even thought about it. Luckily for him, Rarity could not read his face so well.

"Marvelous! I will see you two tonight during the celebration," she said. Scout and dash waived goodbye as they walked out of the boutique.

"So, what are you REALLY going to do now that you had just agreed to getting a costume?" Dash asked him.

"I'll look through the crates engineer took to the barn at Applejack's place later. I wonder what old longshot is doing now, he's normally up early," Scout said, referring to Sniper.

On the roof of Twilight's house…

"Don't take this personal, but your job, to kill everyone you see that is against you, sounds like the job of a crazed gunman," Twilight said. Sniper groaned. They were sitting on the roof together, talking about Sniper's job. Sniper had this conversation many times with his dad.

"Look mate, I'm not a crazed gunman, I'm an assassin."

"But what's the difference?" Twilight asked.

"What the difference be?" Sniper asked, as if shocked. "Ones a job, the other is mental sickness!" He said. Him and Twilight continued to argue about it until Sniper spotted Dash and Scout.

"Well, here comes Your friend Dasher and Bacon Legs."

Twilight sighed. She probably would not understand for a long time where Sniper got his nicknames for people.

"Whata you two knuckleheads doin up there? You makin out?" Scout called up. Rainbow Dash snickered.

"Why, you little pint sized spastic bastard!" Sniper yelled in return, which made Scout only laugh some more. Yes, Scout had to admit, Sniper could make the harshest of insults, but he could make them where they were comedic to his team.

Twilight was blushing a little after hearing Scout's joking statement.

Scout looked at Sniper. "so you makin a Costume for Nightmare Night?" he asked.

Sniper nodded. "You remember that game that I rented called Brink?" Sniper asked. Scout nodded.

"Yeah, that game was awesome!" he said

"Well, since I made the hood, I'm gonna try to make the whole outfit for that one set of clothes, The Anger ( A/N: I do not own Brink, I got the idea for having Sniper wear The Anger while making my MLP and Brink Crossover fanfic, On The Brink Of Friendship (which is still in the making) ) ."

"Your favorite outfit in that game," Scout said. As Sniper and Twilight came down to ground level, they saw Soldier walking around with some cardboard boxes.

"What is he doing?" Twilight and Rainbow Dash asked simultaneously.

"Aw piss," Sniper said.

"No way," Scout chirped in. He then looked at Sniper. "Do ya think he's.."

"I bet the ol' rocket jumper is. That Robot is annoyin as hell." Sniper said.

"A robot?" Dash asked. Sniper and Scout both nodded.

"You see, every Halloween, Soldier wears this getup he calls "The ultimate robot outfit eva". I call it an annoyin piece of junk," Scout said.

"Yeah. The patriotic psycho wears it EVERY year. And he only gets more annoyin with it." Sniper added.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash looked at each other , chuckling at the idea of a battled hardened Marine like Soldier dressing up and acting like a robot.

"Well, we'll have to see that tonight." Twilight said.

"Anyway," Dash said, "me and scout were going to sweet apple acres to get scout a costume and we thought you may want t come with."

Sniper and Twilight agreed happily.

"Alright, race you there!" Scout said, running off, faster than a speeding bullet.

"Hey!" Dash shouted, laughing and chasing after him.

"Hmph, the two are perfect for each other," Sniper said.

"unfortunately, yes. But could you imagine Scout thinking we were making out on the roof?" Twilight said.

They both lightly chuckled at the idea, but the same thought hit their heads.

"Well, it COULD happen…"

They then immediately shook the thought away and walked towards sweet apple acres.

"What do ya thank of this one?" Engineer asked as he put on his Western Wear hat. Engineer was trying to find an outfit for Nightmare Night, and he figured he would be (obviously) a western character.

Applejack looked at him wearing the hat. "Ah hate to admit it, but that hat looks to tall on ya," she said.

"Aw, don't worry about it. Criticism helps ya be better," Engineer said. Engineer let applejack into the fun of it, and they were both trying on hats.

Engineer was now trying on his favorite, the Texas Ten Gallon and Applejack had on the Buckaroos hat.

Applejack asked soon asked him "By what you told me about this "BLU" team, if everythang as far as you know is exactly the same, why is your name and Sniper's name different then the BLUs?"

Engineer replied, "Well, let me tell ya, I found out about it a short while after I first arrived to fight with RED. When I told everyone, no one seemed at care, except for Sniper. He later told me that he felt like ah did, and he was kinda paranoid about killin' someone that looked just like him. And if his name was tha same, well, it wouldn't have helped much. So our Sniper changed his name ta Nick Walker. Surprisingly at us, BLU Engineer heard about this and ended up changing his name to Jack Parsons so atleast he would kill a guy wit ha different name, even though we look alike."

Pyro had already decided what he/she (I'm still not showing what gender I think Pyro is :P) was going to wear. He secretly put on his Blazing bull, Fallen Angel, and Tail From the Crypt. He then saw Engineer in his outfit, wearing his Texas Ten Gallon, his Texas Half-Pants and his Teufort Tooth kicker, making him look like a cowboy from the Wild West.

When Engineer's back was turned and Applejack couldn't see him, he snuck up quietly behind Engineer. When Applejack saw Pyro, she just stared with a scared look on her face, forgetting about the thought that it LOOKED like Pyro.

"Applejack, you alright pardner?" Engineer asked. Applejack just pointed slowly with her hoof to something behind his shoulder. Engineer turned around slowly, and he didn't expect what he saw.

"HUDDA HUMPH!" Pyro yelled the second Engineer looked at him. Engineer and Applejack yelled and started to run. Engineer was going to get his wrench to hit the thing (he didn't recognize Pyro yet (awkward isn't it? Not recognizing someone you've worked with for a long time) ) but he tripped over Applejack. When he fall on his back, Applejack fell on top of him. When the dust cleared, They both blushed brightly when they saw the position they were in. Pyro was laughing like a masked loon.

"Hudda hudda humph, humph humph!" Pyro exclaimed.

When Applejack got off Engineer, Engineer looked like a Longhorned Bull that had just seen a building painted red (or would it be blue since he works for RED?)

"Why ya low down dirty sneak! Of all thangs, Ah wouldn't expect ya to be doin what Spai does all day!" Engineer yelled. Pyro looked at him.

"Hud hudda hu humph," Pyro said.

"Only a joke? Ya scared tha livin daylights outta me and miss Applejack! That's not makin a good impression on them!" he said. Applejack just looked at the two.

"Ah wonder how long thay always argue" she said to herself.

After a couple minutes, Pyro apologized to Engineer and Applejack, which they both, of course, forgave him.

"You three ladies enjoying yourself?" Soldier said as he was seen walking up to them.

"Ya'll could say that," Engineer said, not looking too happy to be called a lady.

"I was just coming to ask, do you know if…" Soldier whispered the rest in Engineer's ear.

Engineer nodded. "Yeah, Tha steel pipes and tha head are still in there, but I don't remember where the shoes are."

Soldier looked through the box for a while, before he pulled out his Idiot Box, Steel Pipes, and shoestring budget. Soldier had a smile on his face as he put it all on. When he put it all on, he looked like the same cardboard robot he did for Halloween last year back on their world.

"Beep Boop, maggot!" Soldier said in his robotic voice. Applejack couldn't help but laugh.

"Why, that has at be about tha funniest thang I ever heard!" she said.

Soldier actually smiled. "so you like it?" he asked. Applejack nodded.

"Well, now that I have my outfit, I'll head on back to miss Derpy. She said she would have some muffins ready when I got back, and I'm starving. Soldier's gotta eat to," he said.

He walked off, with Scout and Dash taking his place with Engineer and Applejack.

"Let me guess. Ya'll came here lookin fer a costume," Engineer said as they arrived. He wasn't surprised when they nodded.

"Yeah, I figured I'd get into da holiday spirit," Scout said, looking through the crates.

"Twilight and Sniper were coming behind us, but there probably walking slow as usual," Rainbow Dash said. As scout was looking for his " Bonk Boy" hat (he decided he was going to dress up as his favorite comic hero, Bonk Boy) Sniper and Twilight was walking up, arguing about something else.

"They sound like a old couple," Applejack said.

"They sound like Soldier and Demoman," Engineer said. Sniper and Twilight would sometimes find something to argue about , but it was friendly arguments instead of hurtful arguments.

"I'm tellin ya mate, when you're bein shot at nearly everyday, I consider it very polite to take off my hat after I've killed them," Sniper said.

"But still, name calling isn't very polite," Twilight said.

Engineer groaned. "now there arguin' over nothin, just like Soldier and Demoman," Engineer said.

Sniper and Twilight finally put their arguing to an end when they got to the rest.

"G'day mates, figured we would stop by to say hello," Sniper said.

"And to find Sniper a costume for Nightmare Night," Twilight added.

As Twilight and Applejack talked, Engineer and Sniper talked while sniper was trying on "The Anger" hood he made. It was originaly and Black and Red hood that he would wear whenever they were at cold front. Sniper tore the black sleeves some to make them look more like the actual hood, and he sowed the words "Rebel" and "Change" (in the color red) onto the black sleeves.

"So, ya think Those shadow creatures will really attack tonight?" Engineer asked him.

"If those wankas are as smart as they seem, they wouldn't with full force ." Sniper said.

"Why do ya thank that?" Engineer asked him.

"You see, in America, you people have Chess. But in China and parts of Australia, we have a game called Go. The Object of Go, unlike Chess, is to take the most territory with the least pieces. If I were planning an attack, I would set up a small strike force to attack a minor spot near an area that is my main target, and send most of my troops to the main area. Since that main area would send help to the area I set up the diversion, it would be easy to attack the main target and take it ." Sniper said.

Engineer was amazed at how smart Sniper was at war tactics. While it was simple, it sounded very effective.

"Maybe we should have ya lead a match or two," Engineer said. They both chuckled as he said that.

"So what do ya think?" Sniper asked Engineer as he finished his outfit. When he put it all on, he looked just like "The Anger" from the game brink. He even had the stitched mask's smile where it looked just like the mask in the game.

"Looks very creative pardner, you could go to one of those gamecon events," Engineer complemented.

"Thanks mate," Sniper replied. "But anyway, not everyone uses the "Go" tactics. So they could send full force to Ponyville, so we do need to be ready, just incase."

The two nodded as the walked back towards Applejack and Twilight. Then Scout popped out of nowhere, dressed up as His favorite comic hero, "Bonk Boy".

"Any problem or villain, Bonk can beat dem' all, no matter how big or how small!" Scout exclaimed, quoting Bonk boy's motto. He was wearing his "Bonk Boy" hat, along with his custom made Bonk boy superhero costume, which was a suit like Superman's, but with a big "B" in the middle.

"Do ya ever wear anything else for Halloween?" Sniper asked. Twilight and Applejack tried their best to keep from laughing when they saw Scout in his getup.

"Yeah. But your costume seems to fit you longshot, since you're always pissed off at someone messin with your stuff." scout said, referring to Snipers "The Anger" outfit.

"Why you little.." Sniper said, but was stopped by Engineer.

"you two ladies gotta learn to stop fightin each other. Ah swear, if ya'll would fight BLU as hard as you fight each other, we would be undefeated."

They stopped arguing and stood by each other. But when Engineer wasn't looking, Sniper punched Scout in the shoulder.

"Sorry about that, thay're always fightin." Engineer said, apologizing for his teammates ignorance.

"Why, it's alright. Every once in a while, we argue also." Twilight said. Just now they noticed it was getting dark.

"Why, we're gonna be late fer Nightmare night!" Applejack said. "You guys can go already since ya'll have yer costumes," Applejack said.

"I'll walk there with you, then I've got ot gt my costume on also," Twilight said.

They hurried off to the town square while Applejack went inside her house to change into her costume.

Demoman was walking through town wearing his Samurai suit, showing it off to the citizens of Ponyville, when he heard a voice that caught his attention.

"I must admit, your costume is prime, one that looks like a soldier from an ancient time."

Demoman turned around to see a Zebra, dressed as a ancient druid.

"Ai, it be. And what be your name lassie?" Demoman asked her.

"Zecora be my name, brewing potions and healing tonics is my game."

"Well lassie, you'd be like an ancient witch if ye were dressed like that on me own world." He left out the part where they would burn the witch at the stake.

As Demoman and Zecora Talked, Sniper was on one knee on top a crate, looking towards Everfree Forest.

"Expecting another attack?" Soldier asked, walking up. Normally, Soldier would always talk like a robot when he had his robot suit on, but he was still a serious, badass soldier.

"I'm not sure. A part of me thinks they will, but another part of me thinks they wont." Sniper said, not taking his eyes off of Everfree forest. Sniper's Anger mask started to slide off, so he pulled it back up to where he had it (just over his nose) and tightened it.

"Don't worry, Sniper. Most of the royal guard AND the princesses are here to help us if they attack. If they do dare to attack us, they will be given the beating of their lifetime.' Soldier said confidently.

"Yeah, guess your right," Sniper said. Sniper then walked off to where Engineer was to talk to him.

Since Engineer stayed behind the frontlines a lot to defend like Sniper, they were able to talk and they trusted each other with their lives.

"Havin a good time pardner?" Engineer asked Sniper.

"I guess, I'm just tensed up a little because of that note we found in the caves yesterday." Sniper replied.

"Well, we'll be ready fer them if thay attack us," Engineer said. Sniper and Engineer chuckled as they then saw Pyro shoot fire from his hands to light some candles inside some jack-o-laterns, which excited Pinkie Pie.

"Wowie powie zowie! Could you teach me that sometime?" Pinkie excitedly asked.

Without saying a word, pyro nodded, which made Pinkie bounce up and down excited.

"Think he can?" Sniper asked.

"Naw, I wouldn't thank so, but you never know with that little firebug." Engineer replied.

Everyone was enjoying the party and admiring everyone else's costumes, and they continued for about an hour.

"Well, it looks like this "Ghost's Shadow" decided to cancel their attack," Princess Celestia said to the mane six.

"Yeah, they knew better than to mess with us!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"I wouldn't be so sure sugercube, thay may not have decided to attack yet," Applejack said.

"Don't worry, they won't mess with us!" Dash replied.

The RED team had come to where the princess were.

"Say uh, you find a way for us at get home yet?" Scout asked.

Celestia sighed. "Sadly, I have not found anything in my books yet, but I am still searching and have asked help from some of the best unicorns I know." She said. RED seemed to look saddened to know that they weren't going home yet, but they were at least happy to know that the princesses were trying.

"Well, at least you sheilas are trying," Sniper said.

"Yeah, but it vwould zhat fighting und chaos follows us vwherever we go, und zhis is too nice of a place to be destroyed." Medic said.

"Da. Would not be good for little town and tiny ponys to be destroyed." Heavy said.

Then the whole party abruptly stopped when everyone noticed a royal guard, bloody and injured. Celestia immediately recognized the guard and ran over to him.

"Stargazer," Celestia said, "what happened to you?"

Stargazer coughed up some blood. "your majesty… the… they attacked us…" Stargazer started before coughing up more blood.

"Who?" Celestia asked.

"The… Ghost's *cough* attacked… Canterlot… under siege…" Stargazer finally said before falling over.

Medic immediately ran over to him and check his pulse. He did not know much about animals, but he at least knew where the pulses in a horse where.

"He," he started, looking at Celestia. "He's dead princess. All ze wounds he has caused to much blood loss. I'm sorry." Medic said.

Celestia shed a tear and looked towards Canterlot. She could sense the castle under siege, the soldiers she had left there fighting heroically, but without the help of the princesses and the RED team, they were slowly being slaughtered.

"We will have to mourn Stargazers death later," she said. "We must head back to Canterlot to help them fight." She had noticed that the guards already knew what she was going to order, and the Pegasus of the royal guard were getting the chariots set up.

The RED team and the mane six followed the princesses, but not before RED went back to get their weapons.

As they all got into the chariots, Sniper looked at Engineer.

"Looks like you were right Sniper," Engineer said.

Sniper simply looked towards Canterlot.

"We're playin Go now mate." Sniper said. As all the chariots took off, the ponys and RED braced themselves for the fight ahead.

Chapter 7: Men of Constant Sorrow

(A/N: sorry that I'm taking so long to make this story, but I don't have that much time to do it. Anyway, for all you rule 34 bronys, I'm not THAT interested in the ponies. I have nothing against those kind of bronys, but I just find that messed up in my opinon. If you asking why I'm saying this when I made Scout's dream in the last chapter, that was just to show how Scout liked Dash. As The Mane six, the princesses, the royal guard, and RED came towards Canterlot, Demoman chuckled. Twilight looked at him.

"How can you laugh at a time like this?" she asked him.

"Oh, it's not that, it's just the castle reminds me of me old ancestor's castle back home," Demoman said.

"You have castles where you come from?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah. Me great-grandparents owned an old castle from medieval times. The DeGroots were- and still are- a heroic battle family. Me grandparents fought in the wars of Scotland, me father fought in World war one, and I be fightin' with me RED teammates. When me grandparents they died, they gave me the rights to the castle even though I wasn't born yet. Funny, they must have been drinking our family's cherished Scrumpy when writing the will." he said, laughing afterwards at his own joke. They were soon cut off by one of the royal guards voice.

"We're closing in on the Canterlot Castle, but these ponies are trying to take us down with balls of fire! Keep your heads down!" The Guard said, dodging fireballs that were mere feet away from the carriage he was carrying.

"How'd dey get dat set up so fast?" Scout asked, ducking behind the carriage he was in.

"Remember mate, The princesses and most of their guards came to the town because of that letter," Sniper reminded him.

They covered their heads as parts of a chariot flew by them. Scout looked over the side of the chariot and saw the helpless royal guards that had miraculously survived being blasted by one of those fireballs, only now to be falling hundreds of feet from the sky. The Pegasus that were carrying the chariot were killed in the blast.

"We have to help them!" Rainbow dash said, starting to dash off before Sniper caught her.

"It's too late mate! If we help them, we'll have to slow down and that'll make us easier targets!" Sniper said. Rainbow didn't want to accept it, but she knew inside that Sniper was right.

Dash winced as another chariot was blown up, those guards being killed immediately. Then, another fireball passed by another chariot, and even though it didn't hit that chariot, The fireball's flames was close enough to catch the chariot on fire, along with the royal guards that were trapped. Weather they jumped off the chariot or stayed on it to burn to death, their fate was grim.

Rainbow Dash would have flown off to get a rain cloud to dowse the flames, but it was a clear sky and it would take too long to find another cloud. So the ponies could only watch in horror. RED didn't feel the same kind of sympathy that the ponies did. They were use to death, especially by fire, but they all knew that it shouldn't be happening to these ponies.

"How much farther?" Soldier yelled out to the Pegasus's carrying their chariot.

"We need to find a place big enough to land!" one of them said.

"But zhey have control of most of ze Castle!" Medic exclaimed.

"Not for long," Soldier said before suddenly jumping out of the chariot.

"What is he doing?" Rainbow dash yelled. "Doesn't he know he'll get killed at this height?"

"Helmet head may be stupid, and I mean REALLY stupid, at times, but even he knows this height's suicide," Scout said. "Unless…."

Before Scout could finish, Soldier came flying back up.

"PA-POW!"

"Unless he has the gunboats on and rocket jumps." Scout finished.

They watched as Soldier bellowed on something about cowards, maggots, and hippies, all while clearing an area big enough for the remaining chariots.

"He is Certainly ze one to charge like zhat." Spy said calmly.

When they landed, Princess Celestia made a quick count.

"Cyclone, What's the status report?" she asked one of the unicorn guards.

"We had 15 chariots to start out with, but we lost 3, all with a total of 4 guards each. They were shot down by those fireballs. These things also have control over the castle " He yelled over the battle as the mane six and the rest of RED followed Soldier's lead, taking battle positions.

Celestia sighed at the news of their current losses. But she knew that if they lost this battle, their deaths would be in vain.

"Alright, you and Stonebreaker lead two squads of the guards to cover RED team and The Elements of Harmony. When you meet up with them, do whatever they Command you to. Luna and myself will lead a separate squadron." She said. Cyclone nodded as he informed Stonebreaker of her plans. They nodded and chose a few of the royal guard, Cyclone's squad going with RED, Stonebreaker's with the Mane six.

"You! One with the helmet!" Cyclone said. Soldier turned around.

"What maggot?" he said, turning back around to fire another rocket. Cyclone grunted at his choice of words for them.

"By order of princess Celestia, we're here to aid you in battle!" he said. Suddenly one of the shadow creatures, what looked like a Manticore, pounced towards Soldier. Cyclone instinctively flew up (he was a Pegasus) and caught the creature in mid air and slammed it into the ground, smashing it into tiny fragments of shadows.

"Thanks," Soldier said, running up beside Cyclone and firing rockets again.

As Twilight threw another one of the shadow creatures aside with her magic, Stonebreaker and his squad of royal guards came in and started to attack the shadow creatures, which allowed the ponies some rest. Stonebreaker came back to inform Twilight on Celestia's orders.

"So you're basically here to protect us." Twilight yelled over an explosion.

"Pretty much!" Stonebreaker said, going back to help his squad. The mane six followed him, all except for Fluttershy.

"Stonebreaker, shouldn't we regroup with RED?" Rarity said, dodging a white arrow. She shrieked and the others nearly jumped, thinking she was hit, but they soon saw that she only shrieked that she had gotten dirt in her mane.

"We better sir, they're getting closer to us, we can't hold them off alone!" One of the Royal guards that was with them said. Stonebreaker nodded as he, his squad, and the mane six made a full dash for RED's location.

As Pyro Took down 3 enemies with his Backburner, he laughed like a little child during a birthday party. "HUDDA HMPH HMPH!" Pyro yelled. Pyro was covering Engineer while he build a sentry.

"Thanks pardner, Ah've almost got this thang ta level three," he said. Since Engineer's sentries were programmed to attack their BLU counterparts only, he had to use the wrangler to manually point the sentry at these shadow creatures. Sniper came over to them.

"We've hit them hard mate, but it's like they've got two more to replace what we destroy." Sniper reported to Engineer.

"Ah, Hell." Engineer replied. They were both surprised when they heard another voice beside them.

"Is it that bad for you guys to?" Twilight said, making Sniper and Engineer nearly jump.

"Yeah," Sniper replied. Little did they noticed that one of the shadow creatures was moving silently behind Engineer's sentry and dispenser with two of Spy's sappers.

"SPAIH SAPPIN MAH SENTRY!" Engineer yelled, turning around. What he saw wasn't a Spy, but a new creature that they've never seen. The closest thing that engineer could think of it was an insect like creature. The creature laughed and hopped off, only to be caught and burned by Pyro.

"Thanks Pyro." Engineer said as he destroyed the sappers with his Southern Hospitality.

"Twilight, was that thing?" Sniper asked as he turned around back towards Twilight. But instead of Twilight, he was looking in the eyes of another one of the insect like creatures. It jumped on him and knocked Sniper's Tribalman's Shiv out of his hand before he could attack with it.

"HELP!" Sniper yelled, wrestling with the creature. Despite it's small size, it was stronger than it looked. Pyro jumped at the creature, knocking it off Sniper and killed it with the Axetinguisher.

"Thanks mate," Sniper said as he grabbed his Tribalman's Shiv. Pyro gave him a two finger salute and ran into the battle to help Soldier, Demoman, Heavy, and Medic. Sniper and Engineer looked at the creature.

"What do ya thank it is?" Engineer asked.

"I don't know mate, we better ask Twilight." Sniper said.

"Or Fluttershy, considering it could be an animal," Engineer added.

"Speaking of that, here thay come," Engineer said. He pointed to the mane six and the Royal guard that was trotting towards them.

When they got there, they asked if any one of them knew what the creature was. They all nodded.

"That's a changeling. They can change into the form of another pony based on a certain pony's love for them and they feed off of that. Their leader tried that one time, she changed herself into the form of my older brother's lover." Twilight said.

"Well, then this thing disguised itself as you Twilight," Sniper said.

"Well if that's true, they need love to change into a form, so…" Twilight started before being cut off by Engineer.

"look, here comes the others" He said.

Sniper sighed under his breath. "That was close, but I shouldn't be having feelings like that. I'm and anti lover and I like to be alone. This place is starting to change me. Wonder if any of the others feel the same," Sniper silently thought. He then slapped himself. "Mate, that's just messed up, keep your head straight, no need to get too friendly." He told himself.

Soldier, Heavy, Pyro, Demoman, and Medic came back, bloody and injured.

"Ach, I must fix zis medigun to not have a time limit of use," Medic said as they all went to Engineers dispenser.

"There's more coming," Soldier said. Sniper look through the scope of his Machina.

"He's right, too many for us to take out. I don't even think the princesses with their powers combined could take them all out." Sniper said. He then looked up and saw the massive fireballs that were coming towards them.

"INCOMING!" Sniper yelled. They all ducked except for Twilight.

"Twilight, get down!" Rainbow dash yelled. Twilight simply closed her eyes and her horn started to glow. Before the knew it, they were all being protected by a giant purple shield. When the fireballs hit, they exploded over the shield, and no one was hurt. But Twilight slumped over after the shield dissipated. Medic immediately ran to check on her, Sniper and Soldier covering him.

"She alright doc?" Sniper asked.

"Yah, she has just run out of energy," Medic replied. Soldier ran back over to Scout.

"Hey Shrimp, think you can run and see how many of em's left?" Soldier asked.

"Course helmet head!" Scout said. He then drank a can of his Bonk! and ran out from the cover he was hiding behind. He was gone for only a few seconds, and then returned, breathing hard.

"Well?" Soldier asked Scout.

"They've got hundreds more coming. I ran into Spy, and he said he is trying to disable the catapults they're using to launch the fireballs." Scout replied. Soldier nodded.

"I was wondering where ol' frenchie went off to." he muttered Soldier and scout peeked up behind the cover they were using, and they saw the multiple figures marching their way. Soldier then notice a large hole, big enough for RED and the ponies that they could use for better cover.

"Listen up!" Soldier yelled to his teammates and the ponies. "We're sitting ducks out here, so we need to run to that hole over there so we'll be better covered." he said.

"Okay, you ponies will run behind us and we will provide covering fire. Got it?" Soldier asked. The ponies nodded.

"Okay. On three. One, two.."

"THREE!" Dash finished for Soldier. They all ran across, RED's gun's blazing. In what seemed like a long time, they made it to the hole.

"Everyone alright?" Spy asked suddenly, no one had even heard him appear.

"Yeah." Engineer said. "you disable those catapults?"

"Indeed I did. Zhey are now useless." Spy said. "Was quite easy really."

"Hold on," Sniper said, making a head count. "we're one short." Everyone looked around, until Heavy knew who was missing.

"Where Is flutter pony?"

They looked back from where they came from and swa that instead of crossing with the others, Fluttershy was still crouched behind a broken part of the castle wall, her eys closed. She was also whimpering and looked like she was about to cry. Heavy gasped.

"WE MUST SAVE LITTLE FLUTTER PONY!" He yelled, running off towards her.

"Mate Wait!" Sniper yelled. He then Scoffed. "Soldier, help me cover him. Everyone else, stay here!" Sniper said. Sniper and Soldier then dashed off, Soldier using his rocket launcher and Sniper using his SMG, killing more of the shadow creatures while catching up to Heavy.

"Good thing he runs slow," Soldier said.

"Too right mate," Sniper replied. They soon caught up with Heavy, who was talking to Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy is ok. Heavy is here to help" he said calmly to Fluttershy.

"A-Are you sure?" Fluttershy squeaked.

"Da. Heavy will protect you. We must go to friends." Heavy said. Heavy then picked up Fluttershy as if she was a baby and looked at Sniper and Soldier. They both knew what Heavy was going to say before he said it just by reading his facial expression.

"We got your back, mate." Sniper said.

"Yeah, you may be a commie, but we need ya." Soldier said. Soldier and Sniper took off first, Heavy right behind them. Heavy made sure that he held Fluttershy with care as they ran. Soon, they were back in the hole. The rest of the mane six trotted over the Fluttershy after Heavy set her down.

"Fluttershy, you all right?" Twilight asked.

"Y-Yes, thanks to Heavy," Fluttershy said.

"Don't worry, Sugercube, we're here for ya," Applejack said. The mane six had a group hug as RED watched the approaching army.

"Not much longer until they're right on top of us," Sniper said, looking through the Scope of his Machina.

"We have to figure out a way to destroy them all at one time, but we're low on ammo and Engineer can't find any metal to build a dispenser," Soldier said. They all pondered and thought, Until an idea hit - of all people - Pyro.

"HUDDA HMPH HMMPH!" Pyro exclaimed.

"Kill em with fire?" Enginer said. "haven't you been doin that this whole time?"

"Hudda humph, hudda humph humph hudda hudda. Hudda hudda humph humph! Humph, hudda hudda HUMPH!" Pyro explained, yelling out the last muffled word.

RED all nodded.

"That may actually work!" Soldier said. "Can we do it?" he asked Engineer.

"Hmm, If Sniper can hit the right areas, it can work." Engineer replied.

"Well, what do we got to lose?" Scout said. All of RED high fived and prepared to use Pyro's daring plan. Pyro got out a pack of his Flare gun ammo and handed it to Sniper. Sniper then made the flare gun ammo small enough where they could fit into his sniper rifle, but was still as explosive. He then aimed at a certain creature, one that was white and had an bow and arrow in it's hooves and fired. It exploded on contact, and surprisingly the resulting fire caught on quickly in the enemy's ranks.

Sniper continued to fire the modified flare gun bullets at certain areas, hitting them dead on. Soon, the entire army of The Ghost's Shadow that was at the castle was set ablaze. RED cheered at the sight of the burning massacre, and while the ponies where happy that the enemy was being destroyed, they were still shocked at how they were slowly burning to a crisp.

"Hudda humph," pyro said, wiping an imaginary tear from the fireproof mask.

"Only Pyro can REALLY see this as beautiful," Scout whispered to Spy. Spy nodded.

"Agreed. Pyro probably sees zhis as a magical land, ze flames probably like rainbows to him, or her, or whatever Pyro is." Spy said.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

After the fires died down, RED and the mane six walked among what's left of Canterlot Castle.

"I never thought I would see Canterlot like this," Twilight said.

"I know what ya mean, sugercube," Applejack said. The ponies were all experiencing aftershock after the battle, Something RED got over many years ago. RED stayed silent the whole time to honor the fallen, as the ponies mourned their losses. This victory came at too great a cost.

Ponyville, 2 minutes after RED and the Mane six returned…

While Scout, Demoman, Pyro, Heavy, Medic, and Spy talked with the Mane six, mostly doing their best to comfort them, Sniper was leaning against one of the crates that came with them. Engineer and Soldier walked over to him.

"Ya doin alright pardner?" Engineer asked. "I know you like to be off by yourself, but you actually seem troubled about something."

"Yeah, I'm alright." Sniper said. "It's just I was thinking… it's been so long since I've seen death, and I mean ACTUAL death, not like how we've been dieing since we've joined RED. It's sickening in all reality on how these peaceful creatures should see this."

Soldier and Engineer nodded.

"I know what you mean," Soldier said. "I'm a blood thirsty maniac sometimes…"

"Sometimes?" Engineer said, cutting him off.

"Okay, okay, a lot of times, but I still don't think civics should experience this." Soldier said.

"did you think of that while you were in Germany?" Sniper asked.

"No, even if I couldn't get in the army, I knew I had to fight them, they knew what they were doing to those Jews, they were human beings to." Soldier replied.

"Did you ever think that even SOME of them didn't want to do that?" Sniper asked.

"Hey, I fought thier Soldiers. I didn't fight their people," Soldier gruffly said. Sniper got the statement from Soldier's face. He wouldn't ask any more questions about that for now. The trio looked back at the ponies, who were still mourning.

"We have to find a way to go home. War and Bloodshed just follows us wherever we go." Soldier said, Sniper and Engineer agreeing.

"Still, this is the closest thang to outside life that we have seen fer years," Engineer said.

"Yeah, you're right about that." Soldier said.

"You're right mate, but still. If we're here, these sheilas will be in constant sorrow." Sniper said, chuckling a little. "Reminds me of that song you play sometimes Engineer." Sniper added.

"That song by the Soggy Bottom Boys?" Engineer asked. Sniper nodded. Engineer got on top of one of the crates and got out his guitar, tuning it to the tune of the guitar in " I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" and started to play. Even though the Bluegrass music was soothing, they knew it was about a man with a terrible life.

The song was fitting to the situation that they were ALL in, and the situations that await.

Chapter 8: Same Places, New Faces

1 week after the Canterlot invasion…

RED was gathered at Sugercube corner, discussing the recent events and the attention that they have received.

"I don't like it." Sniper said. " I just don't."

"Of course you wouldn't like attention considering you're a lone wolf all the time," Scout replied. "I'm getting the attention I deserve."

Spy scoffed. "don't be so sure of yourself, boy. I'm sure you have learned how ones you trust can turn on you." he said.

"Oh yeah? Who would betray this all star?" Scout mockingly asked. Spy simply smiled.

"your Mozher."

"Why you backstabbing scumbag!" Scout yelled, jumping at Spy. Soldier caught him before he could get a hit. Spy simply laughed.

"foolish boy. Still so easy to make mad." Spy said, laughing.

"After all this, and you laddies still fight each other." Demoman said. "But Sniper be right. This attention won't help us find a way back home."

"Yah," Medic agreed. " Just yesterday, zhere was zhis one pony that seemed like a news reporter. He kept asking me questions of all sorts about my job und life before we came here. It took me quite a while to get rid of him. His name vwas Vwendy Writer or somezing like zhat."

"humph humph hudda hudda humph hudda hudda humph?" Pyro asked.

"Are you kiddin'?" Engineer asked Pyro. "As long as we have worked for RED, how would they forget about us?" Pyro simply shrugged.

"Well, until we find a way back, which you all remember Celestia GUARENTEED us that she will do her best, we might as well do what we can to protect this place." Soldier gruffly said.

"Some protection we've been," Sniper said. "It seems like the only thing we've done is bring war and death with us. It's practically in our blood mates." Sniper said.

"Well, Yeah," Soldier admitted. " It seems like World War II followed us here."

"You actually weren't in World War II Soldier." Sniper said.

"BUT as long as the Nazis were alive, World War II was still among us!" Soldier protested.

"Yo guys, we're gonna have to cut the conversation short. Here comes Twilight and the others!" Scout said, looking out the window. RED immediately moved around, trying to act like they were relaxing and telling friendly stories.

"Hey guys," The mane six said as they walked into sugercube corner, greeting RED. They simply nodded.

"So, what're ya'll talkin' about?" Applejack asked. Engineer started to sweat a little on the back of his neck, trying to think of an excuse. Luckily for RED, Pyro stepped in to save their necks.

"Hudda humph! Hudda hudda hudda humph. Hudda humph?" Pyro said. The Mane six looked at him blankly for a second, but then Pinkie jolted up.

"Really? I always thought sprinkles went best on Chocolate cupcakes!" she said to Pyro. Rainbow dash seemed to look a little queasy at the word cupcakes. ( Yes I have read that story, Which, like most others, wish I HAD NOT.)

"You alright?" Scout asked her. Dash nodded.

"Yeah, it's just this dream I had one time made me kind of sick around cupcakes." Dash responded. "You wouldn't want to know."

Scout just shrugged and went back over to where Spy was. When no one was looking, he punched Spy in the arm. Spy flinched some, but kept his facial expression the same. He had to admit, for a small young man, he could punch pretty hard.

"So, ah guess we've brought quite the crowd," Engineer said, changing the subject.

"Well ah reckon so. There're lots of new folks comin' around," Applejack replied.

They looked out the window and saw the new faces that were looking around Ponyville, some looking like normal visitors while others looked like important news writers or military strategists.

"So, what does the princess want us to do now?" Sniper asked Twilight as the others talked.

"Well, in her last letter, she wants us to be on the look out for any spies." Twilight said. Sniper seemed to flinch a little at the word "spies".

"Spies?" Sniper asked. Twilight nodded to reassure him.

"Yeah. If the changelings are helping this "Ghost's Shadow", they could be hiding among us." Twilight said. Sniper muttered to himself.

"Well, all right. We might as well get a move on. How about it fellas'?" Sniper asked the other RED members. One by one they nodded.

"yeah, I gotta… uh… check my hats. Yeah, Spy takes my hats sometimes." Scout said.

"Hey!" Spy said. The mane six chuckled at this.

"Well alright then," Twilight said. RED walked out of sugercube corner and started to head to Twilight's house, were they would keep the crates until they could make a temporary base.

"That was too close mate," Sniper said to Engineer.

"Yeah. We need to find a temporary base to set up so we can have conversations like that in private." Engineer said. "At least Pyro saved us that time."

Sniper chuckled. " Saved by the fire fanatic."

Meanwhile….

"Are you sure Rainbow Dash will be here?" said a young filly. The filly was a female Pegasus that had a mane and tail that had a combination of all brown colors, with a coat that was a mix of beige and light chocolate brown. She had Hazel eyes and her cutie mark was a chocolate bar. She was flying low to the ground by another mare, one that looked to be the same age as Rainbow Dash.

"I'm positive! Me and Dash were great friends in flight school, we just haven't seen each other after we graduated. She did send me a letter a time not long ago telling me about these " New visitors," said the other pony. This one was a mare, with a purple and yellow mane and a blue and orange tail. Her coat was white, with red outlines on the feathers under her wings. Her cutie mark was two clouds, one a rainbow colored mist, the other an ordinary cloud

"Ok, as long as you're sure Lily," Said the younger one.

"Don't worry Choco, I'm sure you'll like them. One of the mane six is even shy, like you!" Rainbow Lily said to her younger sister. Choco Dasher put on a small smile and landed on the ground to walk close to her sister.

"See, there's Ponyville. Since you like flying so much, you want to race to see how fast you are?" Rainbow Lily asked Choco. Choco's smile widened at the chance of flying fast like her older sister.

"Okay, you're on!" Choco said. The two sisters shot off in a flying frenzy towards Ponyville. Laughing among the way.

Diamond Caves…

"So what's the progress?" Ghost mare asked Shadow Stallion.

"Actually, it is pretty good. Our new wizard from Stalliongrad said that the alter-ego copy are almost finished." Shadow Stallion replied. " how did you find this alter ego anyway?"

"Well, you know how our new allies, the changelings, use love to disguise themselves, right?" Ghostmare said.

"Yeah," Shadow Stallion replied.

"Well, while they are searching for the emotion of love, they see other emotions, like fear, anger, hate, and that combines into their "alter-ego". You know what I mean?" Ghost Mare explained. Shadow Stallion nodded.

"I understand, but whose alter-ego is it?"

"A pony that is not a permanent resident of Ponyville. Rainbow Lily. She was at the the Wedding of Twilight's brother, and a changeling disguised as her. That changeling said that her alter ego was so horrifying, he never forgot it. that's why it sounds perfect," Ghost Mare said, followed by an evil laugh.

"Well, I'll keep you updated on the progress sister," Shadow Stallion said.

"Alright. I will look over Ponyville," Ghost Mare responded. "And tell that new wizard Deca Dance to keep up the good work."

Shadow Stallion nodded as he trotted off back to where their makeshift lab was.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

RED was at Twilight's house taking off their Halloween outfits ( they had slept in them because the battle wore them down too much to take them off the night before) and were putting back on their regular clothes. While most of the guys were quiet, Sniper and Spy were having an argument.

"Mate, Australia's football team could beat France's any day!" Sniper said. (Even though it's called soccer in America ( my home country) I am using the name other countries call soccer, which is football.)

"You must be dreaming! France has ze greatest Football team imagined!" Spy replied.

"Then why didn't they win the Euro tournament or the World cup this year?" Sniper mockingly asked as he finished clothing himself by putting on his Trophy Belt.

"Well, ze last time I checked, Australia hasn't either." Spy said. Engineer and Medic watched as they argued.

"They really get at it when it comes to soccer, don't they?" Engineer asked, even though he knew the answer by working with these guys for years.

"Yah. But zhey don't know zhat Germany is really ze best." Medic said.

"Don't start. We don't need a third one." Engineer said.

"Eh, I care for Baseball." Scout said, jumping into the conversation.

"Well, this ain't the time to talk about sports." Engineer said. Soon after everyone finished putting their regular clothes (except for their hats, which they interchanged) They walked outside, where the mane six (except for Fluttershy) and a pony that was new to them were outside, waiting.

"Hey guys! I want to introduce you to a great friend of mine!" Rainbow Dash immediately said. Dash then pointed to the pony standing beside her, whom seemed ot act shy like flutter shy, but NOWHERE near as much.

"This is Rainbow Lily. We were great friends in school, and when I saw her here, I just had to introduce her.

"Hi," Rainbow Lily said. She had to admit, while these newcomers didn't act scary (based on the letter from Rainbow Dash) they looked nothing at all like she thought they would.

"Yo, Wassup." Scout greeted. One by one, RED introduced themselves. After they introduced themselves, they noticed an even smaller pony behind Rainbow Lily.

"Oh, This is my little sister, Choco Dasher. Say hi." Rainbow Lily said, encouraging Choco.

"H-hi.." Choco meekly said. Heavy looked at Choco.

"She is so tiny!" Heavy said. Medic then hit his arm ( which he knew he would barely feel.)

"Dummkopf, be more polite." He muttered to Heavy.

"Da. Sorry for calling little pony "tiny"" Heavy said.

"I-it's alright." Choco said. She then looked at her big sister, Rainbow Lily.

"Sis, Fluttershy said I could go with her near Everfree Forest to pick flowers with her, can I? please?" Choco asked, making her "big eyes" effect, which she was real good at."

Rainbow Lily couldn't help it. "Aw, alright. Is flutter shy at her house?" She asked, Which Choco nodded in response.

"Twilight, do you know if anypony could guide Choco to Fluttershy's house?" Rainbow l

Lily Asked Twilight.

"Sure!" Twilight said, looking around. "Derpy, can you lead this filly to to Fluttershy's house?" Twilight asked Derpy, who was flying by.

"Uh, sure Twilight! I can get her their safely!" Derpy said, Just before running into a flagpole. "My bad!" Derpy said, backing up. Choco laughed and flew over to derpy, and they both flew off towards Fluttershy's house.

"You sure she knows the way?" rainbow Lily asked Twilight.

"Oh, yeah. It may just take a while though." Twilight responded. " anyways, there's nothing really happening right now, so we have time to just talk."

"Well, All right then." Soldier said as RED and the ponies went inside Twilights house.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

"So, are you sure this alter ego will work?" Shadow Stallion asked the wizard.

"Yes, I am in Complete control of the Rainbow Lily alter-ego, and no spell can destroy it." Deca Dance reported. "You want me to take a hostage, right?"

"That's what Ghost Mare said." Shadow Stallion answered.

"Right, since I am in control of the alter ego, I see what it sees," Deca said. "I control it's every move and thought."

"Really now? Sounds impressive." Ghost mare said as she walked in. The trio looked through a portal that was showing the edge of Everfree Forest, where the alter ego was currently at.

"Remember, even though the alter ego is a blood thirsty killer, don't kill anypony….yet."

"Right." Deca dance said. " I see a young filly and Fluttershy," She said soon after. "you want me to try and get them both?"

"No," Ghost Mare responded. " I feel that if we take Fluttershy, Twilight could connect to her telepathically and those humans will stop us before we can even start. Just take the filly, but keep her alive." She said.

"You got it."

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

Fluttershy was picking flowers, humming a little tune to herself, when she suddenly heard a scream, which made her jump.

"C-Choco? Are you alright?" Fluttershy asked. When she turned around, she nearly dropped dead with fright. She saw what looked like Rainbow Lily, just a dark, Shadow like version with blood red eyes and what looked like a blood stained mane and tail. In one of it's wings was Choco, flailing around and screaming for help.

"I'll save you! I hope.." Fluttershy said as she ran towards the creature. The creature responded with an unearthly hiss which made Fluttershy drop with fright. When she came back to her senses, The creature had run off with Choco back into Everfree Forest.

"Oh no, I have to tell the others!" Fluttershy said, flying as fast as she could back towards Twilights house.

Later…

RED an The ponies were talking when Fluttershy suddenly burst through the door.

"Fluttershy, whats wrong!" Everyone asked when they saw the look on her face.

"S-S-some creature came and took Choco! I tried to stop it but it ran off before I could!" She said. Everyone was in shock, especially Rainbow Lily.

"they'll pay for taking my sister!" Lily said, about to release her alter ego until Dash stopped her.

"Wait, remember, sometimes, you can't control it. What if you can't now?" Dash asked. Lily knew dash was right.

"But how are we gonna get my sister!" She asked.

"Everyone, calm down!" Soldier said. "Fluttershy, what was this creature like?" he asked her.

"W-well, it was like a shadow version of Rainbow lily, except it looked evil, and it was sooo scary!" She said. " I wish I could have saved her," Fluttershy said before bursting into tears. The mane six and Lily gathered around her to calm her down.

"What are we gonna do?" Dash asked.

"It sounds like my alter ego," Lily commented.

"Well, we may have to fight a bloodthirsty killer with another one." Engineer said.

"But how are we gonna find a Bloodthirsty killer?" Scout asked. Then, the Idea hit RED and they looked towards Sniper. Sniper also knew what they were thinking.

"No way! It's way too risky for me to let him out!" Sniper said.

"We all know the risk," said Soldier, " But it's a chance we'll have to take."

"But what if I accidently kill Dasher in the process?" Sniper asked.

"Don't worry, now that we know how to stop him, we can use the music to activate him and turn him off." Soldier added. After some tense argument, Sniper finally agreed.

"All right, but if something happens, it ain't my fault."

"Alright, Scout, get your boom box and the Tape that has the song on it." Soldier told Scout, Scout ran to where the crates where and came back in a flash, with The Boom Box on his back and a tape in his pocket.

"got it right here helmet head." Scout reported. RED nodded as they and the ponies ran out towards Everfree Forest.

Later…

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

RED and the ponies were once again about to enter the diamond caves. Sniper was standing in-between everyone.

"What's he going to do Engineer?" Twilight asked him.

"Well, you ponies aren't the only ones with "alter-egos"." Engineer replied.

"guys, ya'll ready?" Engineer asked his teammates. The other RED members nodded.

"Sniper, You ready?" Engineer asked Sniper.

"Yeah, but I still think it's too risky mate." Sniper replied.

"Alright. Make sure those ropes around his hands are tied where he can't get out unless we cut them." Engineer told Demoman.

"Right, they be tight all right." Demoman confirmed.

"And Ze Blindfold is on tight!" Medic reported.

"Allrighty then! I'd advise you ponies to stand back. The Sniper You're about to see isn't the Sniper he is."

The Mane six and Lily took a few steps back, along with RED, except for Soldier, who was holding the Ropes that bonded Sniper's hands. Soldier also made sure that Sniper had his Tribalmen's Shiv, which he did.

"Okay," Soldier said, "Start the tape."

Scout nodded as he put the tape he was carrying into his Boom box and then put the Boom Box onto his back. The boom Box started to play "The Millionaire's Holiday" At Which Sniper's head jerked up.

Sniper grunted and groaned as his body started to shake. He then let out a yell that startled the ponies and even RED. After about, fifteen seconds, Sniper's head fell limp. Twilight immediately got worried.

"Is he.." Twilight said, fearing the worst. She then, along with the other ponies, were startled when they heard Sniper. This time, his voice sounded darker.

"It's like Christmas morning.."

"All right, let's go, but be careful and make sure Sniper doesn't get loose," Engineer ordered. Soldier pushed the now Christian Brutal Sniper forward into the Diamond cave.

"I warn ye lassies, It's about to get bloody." Demoman told the Ponies.

They would have no idea how right he would be.

Chapter 9: Blood and Jarate

"Sister, you want to tell me why they have one of their own tied up?" Shadow Stallion asked Ghost Mare.

"What are you talking about?" Ghost Mare asked. Shadow Stallion opened a portal-like circle that showed a picture of RED and the mane six. Sniper was tied up and blindfolded. Ghost Mare gasped.

"his alter ego, they've activated it!" Ghost mare exclaimed.

"Why, how bad is it?" Shadow Stallion asked.

"He is one of the worst of the worst…" Ghost mare said. She then, using magic, created a battalion of white, ghost like version of the Royal guards of Canterlot.

"go to the center cave, we are being intruded! Kill every one of them!" Ghost mare ordered. The Ghost guards flew off towards RED and the ponies.

"They won't be able to hold them off forever. We have to move deeper into the cave." Ghost Mare said. She ran off to tell the wizard that was working for them of their plans to fallback.

Meanwhile…

"Hopefully this will work." Soldier said as they all walked deeper into the cave.

"But what if he turns on us?" Rainbow Lily asked.

"Well, let's hop he sees so many of them, he won't care to turn around. Just Don't get in his way." Soldier answered her.

"Hey, you guys hear somthin?" Engineer asked. They looked down into a tunnel. The ponies gasped when they saw the ghost guards coming towards them.

"Here comes the first wave. Wait for it…" Soldier said. RED did not move as the guard came sprinting towards them.

"Wait…" Soldier said.

"They're practically on top of us!" Twilight yelled.

"NOW!" Soldier yelled. He cut the rope that was holding CBS's hands and Engineer took off CBS's blindfold. They both pushed Christian Brutal Sniper towards the guard.

When Christian Brutal Sniper saw the guards, A great big smile was plastered on his face.

"just like Christmas morning, I'm gonna cut a Smile into ya!" CBS said as he got his Tribalman's Shiv and ran towards the guards. He killed the first two with ease, cutting their cheeks in half, making a "smile" on their face. He then easily fought the other guards, which gave RED time to go into the cave.

"He'll follow us, so we have to move fast." Spy said.

"That was just inhuman, the way he moved so fast." Twilight said.

"Well, that is just him. CBS is one of the worst, yes. But the " Others" are just as bad." Spy said as RED and the ponies ran through the tunnel.

As Soldier led they way, taking down some of the Shadow and ghost creatures, Rainbow Lily flew up beside him.

"Do you think that Sniper can really hold all of them off?" She asked.

"Trust me. I've seen him at his worst." Soldier said. They then heard CBS's laugh as he was killing the guards left and right.

After fight their way for a few more minutes, they came to the cave where Ghost Mare and Shadow Stallion was in. They could see three figures hastily trying to move equipment that look like a mad scientist would use.

"Lily, help!" Rainbow Lily heard Choco Dasher's voice saying.

"Sister!" Rainbow Lily said, started flying ahead of the others.

"How did they

"You're not getting away that easy!" Soldier said, Jumping towards the unicorn with dark teal fur.

"We'll see about that." The pony said. Suddenly, she cast a spell, causing shackles to come out of the ground, which locked onto Soldier's hands and feet. The Shackles then pulled back down, pinning Soldier to the ground.

"Why you dirty, rusty son of a…" Soldier said before the unicorn cast another spell, putting a magical barrier over Soldier's mouth, making his voice inaudible as long as it was on him.

"One down, eight to go," Deca Dance said.

"No time, we have to escape, our plans can't be thwarted now!" Shadow Stallion said. Deca hesitated, but knew he was right. She ran with the others, only to be suddenly pushed back.

"G'day!" Said Christian Brutal Sniper, who had suddenly appeared in front of the three. " Ready to meet sharpy?"

"Deca, do something to stop him!" Ghost mare ordered.

"I can't! Unless I created the alter ego, I can't control or stop an alter ego!" She replied. But then, an Idea hit her. She whispered something hastily to Ghost mare, who nodded. Ghost mare then turned towards soldier. She rose in the air, and white mist started to flow out of her mane and started to surround Soldier. RED and the ponies couldn't see Soldier until the mist had faded away, revealing Soldier unconscious, the shackles holding him down gone.

"Now, we wish you the best of luck against his alter ego!" Ghost mare said, laughing. Her, Shadow Stallion, and Deca Dance then got in a circle as Ghost mare started to teleport them to a safe location.

"Why didn't you teleport us earlier?" Deca Dance asked.

"It Makes the story more intense." Ghost mare responded.

"Story? What the fu-" Shadow stallion said, before being cut off by the teleportation. RED started to walk towards Soldier, they jumped back when Soldier's body popped into a standing position, a wide, creepy smile on his face.

"I am Painis Cupcake." he said.

"damn it! Get back!" Engineer yelled as RED retreated from Painis Cupcake. The ponies quickly followed RED to some rocks for cover.

"What's happened to him?" Twilight asked Engineer.

"Aw hell, those confounded Ghost's Shadow brought out his monster self." Engineer said. Painis Cupcake walked around, laughing while searching for his next meal. He then stopped in his tracks as he heard a laugh… above him.

"G'day!" Said CBS. "You'll be bleeding gravy before long!" CBS said, releasing his grip on the roof, falling on top of Painis Cupcake. Painis then opened his mouth, wide enough for CBS to fall in. CBS turned and landed on the ground.

"Ready to meet sharpy?" CBS asked.

"Your piece of wood will certainly be almost as good as you!" Painis said. The two charged towards each other and started to attack. CBS slashed at Painis, only for Painis to catch the sword in his mouth and take a bite out of it. This immediately made CBS angry.

"Why you no good gremlin!" CBS said, yelling at the top of his lungs. The cave shook some, and CBS pulled out his huntsman while Painis cupcake was temporarily stunned.

It then hit Engineer. "Scout! Turn tha music on your boom box off!" Engineer said. Scout immediately did what he was told, turning the boom box off. CBS stopped, then went through the same process that made him turn into CBS to become RED Sniper once again.

"Oi, what happened? AND WHO TOOK A BLOODY BITE OUT OF MY KNIFE!?" he yelled. He then saw Painis Cupcake in front of him.

"Aw, piss."

"I am Painis Cupacke!" Painis Cupcake said. Engineer looked around frantically.

"Where's a fryin' pan when ya need one?" Engineer asked Demoman. Pinkie pie suddenly jolted up appear in-between them.

"You mean like this?" Pinkie said, holding up a frying pan.

"How did you? You know what, never mind. Demoman, y'all know what at do." Engineer said, handing the frying pan to Demoman.

"Right, he won't see this one comin!" Demoman said, running towards painis cupacke. He was able to get a lucky blow, hitting painis cupcake on the back of his head with the pan. Painis cupcake fell to the ground, shortly getting up.

"Oh," Soldier said, moaning.

"I know how ya feel mate." Sniper said, helping Soldier up.

As Red looked around the remains of the Ghost's Shadow lab equipment, Rainbow Lily was calming her sister down.

"Hey, you were pretty brave out there," she said. Choco looked up at her.

"Y-you think so?"

"Yeah, Your as brave as me." Lily said. Choco seemed to brighten up since she always tries to be like her big sister. As the girls talked, red salvaged what they could carry of the blueprints.

"Hey Engie!" Scout called. Engineer walked over to where Scout was, who handed him a couple of blueprints. Engineer took off his goggles, which he only does if he gets really excited, and a huge smile came across his face.

"Fellas! These are blueprints fer a teleporter! This could take us home!" He yelled. Red cheered among this discovery, but then paused. The gathered around.

"But what about the girls?" Soldier asked. They all looked at the girls, who seemed to be having a group gathering of their own.

"Ah don't know. Fate could have a reason for sending us here. We may be here for a reason." Engineer said. After counseling with each other, they agreed to send the plans to princess Celestia, along with a list of materials needed. But they would not build the teleported until they had helped defeated the Ghost's Shadow. They regrouped with the girls, who talked about the recent battle until they came back to Ponyville. When they got back, a certain pony that Medic remembered was running their way. Medic groaned inwardly.

"Excuse me! !" Wendy Writer said.

"Vwhat is it now?" Medic asked.

"Can you tell me about what happened in everfree forrest and possibly the diamond caves?" Wendy asked. Medic did his best not to speak of what happened, but Sniper had to come in to save him.

"Long story short, we fought, we won. Nothing else." Sniper said coldly. Wendy writer wrote what Sniper said down, thanking them and running off.

"Danke Sniper" Medic said.

"No worries." Sniper replied. When they got to twilight's house, Engineer told spike about the plans and to send them to the princess. He also said that spike shouldn't read it. Spike complied and sent the blueprints to the princess, along with a small handwritten note by Engineer.

"Well, this is a big step closer at getting home, right?" Engineer asked Applejack.

"Uh, Yeah, great news…" Applejack said. She did her best to hide the fact that she was feeling a little down. All the girls were since they knew that RED could be heading home soon. But she figures that as long as they're here, she would make the best of it. As RED and The grils talked, They were surprised by an unexpected visit from the Princesses.

"RED, I have received your blueprints and will have my best scientists working on the project, but to be approved by you engineer." Celestia informed Engineer, who nodded. They talked some more until they noticed that the sky was being covered by gray clouds.

"It's not suppose to be dark yet," Twilight said. They all were suddenly filled with the sound of a shrieking woman, RED all covering their ears. They then heard a Ghostly voice, the one of Ghost mare, echoing through Ponyville.

"Those who fight us will meet their doom, a doom to be seen soon. When the time comes, your resistance will be done. RED, now I am talking to you, your hopes will never come true. You will never see your home, for you will all be dead by next midnight's toll."

They then heard the awful scream again, and after it had ended, the grey clouds disappeared, and it was now night. What seemed to take seconds really took about 10 minutes. Red looked around, the same as the mane six and the princesses. Rarity was trying to wake up Fluttershy, who had passed out. Heavy was the first to speak.

"It seems evil ponies want to fight." He said. Everyone was quite as Soldier stepped out in between them.

"Well, if it's a fight they want, it's a fight they will get." He said.

A/N: I know you guys are probably getting tired of cliffhangers, but it just adds more excitement to the story! Sadly, this story is coming near it's epic finale, but it has been a good run, and I'll update when I can. Hey Guys, I'm sorry this chapter has took so long, I have had a huge wave of writers block for this story, and I have been trying to brainstorm ideas. But, here it is, so let's get this show on the road!

Chapter 10: Mann vs. Machine (part 1)

It had been dark days for the team. Ever since the warning from Ghost Mare a week ago, RED had been on guard with the Mane six and the princesses. The Ponies couldn't help the solemn expressions from RED, and they knew what they were thinking. RED thought that ever since they had come here, they had brought only trouble. While they had made bonds and friendships with the ponies, the thought of it was only a shadow in the dark.

Sniper was watching the area with his Machina from Twilight's observatory. Through the Scope, he could see Engineer playing his guitar while he was sitting on top of a level three dispenser by a level three sentry. Applejack was with him, talking to pass the time.

He then saw scout and Rainbow Dash, who were throwing Scout's baseball back and fourth. Sniper still didn't understand how the ponies were able to hold items as if they had fingers.

"Perhaps we're in a cartoon world," he thought. He and Scout sometimes thought of "breaking the fourth wall" as some called it. He then shifted the scope to see Pyro and Pinkie pie having what looked like a picnic, as if the past events had not happened at all.

Twilight walked up to the observatory where Sniper was. "Sniper, I brought some food Pinkie baked for us. Why don't you take a break and eat a bite?" she asked. Sniper had been watching the area or the past hour or two, so he decided to take a small break to eat with Twilight.

"So, heard any more from the princesses?" Sniper asked her.

"Well, they said that the teleportation device is soon to be under construction, but it I taking them a while to find everything needed." Twilight said. She just didn't mention the part of her that didn't want RED, especially Sniper, to leave.

"I just hope that this threat from the Ghost's Shadow will be over soon." Sniper said before he took a bite out of his sandwich. He was used to eating vegetable sandwiches since he made what edible food he could in the outback.

"So do I, but it will be kind of sad when you guys will leave. It's like a having a imaginary friend. They are never there, but you know you are friends," Twilight said.

"I agree," Sniper said. The two talked for a little while as they ate.

"Twilight, Can I ask you something?" Sniper said.

"Sure, what is it?" She responded.

"What did you feel like about me when we first met?" Sniper asked.

"Well, uh, at first, you seemed like a dark figure, because come on, everyone is a little worried when they meet someone new," Twilight said. Sniper chuckled a bit. " But now, you seem like a very nice and serious guy who always has his friend's back." She finished.

"Well, When I first met you, I didn't know what to say. Scared the bloody hell out of me when I first heard you talking, despite the fact I kept my cool. But now I would trust you with my life." Sniper said.

"You know, Despite as weird as this will sound, if you were a pony, I would try to get you to be my special some pony," Twilight said. Sniper paused for a moment.

"Well, if you were human, I would without a doubt try to get you," Sniper said.

"Well, no one is up here, so at we can keep this conversation to ourselves," Twilight said.

"Well, yeah, of course." Sniper replied, chuckling nervously. Twilight did the same.

Sniper looked around, and when he was sure that not even a single animal was watching (after all, Fluttershy could communicate with them.) Sniper grabbed Twilights hoof and held it.

Twilight looked at Sniper, who returned the stare. They then started to move their heads forward, and they closed their eyes as their lips touched, entering a kiss. What seemed like 2 minutes really took only about 5 seconds, and they slowly pulled their heads away.

"Wow," was all that Twilight could say.

"Did you use any of your magic? Cause that seemed magical," Sniper said. As corny as the statement was, it was how he and Twilight felt. Before they said anything else, Sniper's radio went off.

"Sniper, Ah need yah down here this instant, I think we've got trouble," Engineer said.

"Alright, Me and Twilight are on our way," Sniper responded.

"What is it?" Twilight asked.

"Engineer just radioed in. There must be trouble. Let's go." Sniper said. The two got up, Sniper got his weapons of choice, and they left to go back to Engineer and Applejack.

"so are they comin?" Applejack asked.

"Yep, they're on their way." Engineer said. The two turned back to look back at the humongous metal carrying tank that was at the edge of the Everfree forest.

"What do you think it is?" Applejack asked.

"Ah don't know, but Ah don't like it." Engineer said.

"Engie, do ya think this is it?" Applejack asked.

"It could be, but Ah'm gonna stand and fight for as long as ah can." Engineer replied. Applejack looked into his eyes.

"Engie, Ah want at be with ya to the end." She said. The two then embraced in a sudden kiss, the emotion going through both of them. When they pulled away, they were at a loss of words.

"Well darlin, this might as well just stay between us," Engineer said with a smile. Applejack nodded. They then swiftly kissed again before They Saw Sniper and Twilight.

"What's the problem?" Sniper asked they came up to Applejack and Engineer.

"That." Engineer said, pointing to the tank. Sniper took off his shades to make sure he saw this with his own eyes.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Looks like some kinda carrying tank," Engineer replied.

"Well, it wouldn't be a carrying tank if it wasn't carrying something. We better put the town and the princesses on alert. You radio it in to RED." Sniper said. Engineer nodded as he told the RED team.

"Well, looks like this is it." Sniper said.

"Yeah, I'll tell the girls and inform the princesses," Twilight said. The two broke to accomplish this.

Later…

The royal guard was set up in a line on the outskirts of ponyville, RED in certain defensive positions. The ponies were with the princesses and the Royal Guard.

"Sister, What do you think is in it?" Luna asked Celestia.

"I am not sure, but it cannot be good." She replied. Their was an eerie tension in the air as the guards, mane six, and RED observed the carrying tank. Then, a loud creaking sound came from the tank as it's hatch slowly opened. The Royal guards took defensive stance, weapons and shields drawn (how they held all this was still a mystery to RED) and the guards slowly begin to move forward and moved their shields together o form a tight knit wall.

The guards stopped about 30 yards away from the tank, and waited. As Soldier looked at the tank from Ponyville, he could see figures inside the tank, by hundreds, if possibly thousands.

"That don't look good."

"What the…" Sniper said, looking at the figures from the Scope of his Machina.

A Chorus of the whirring of machines arose as the eyes of all the machines, what looked like endless waves, turned a bright blue. RED and the ponies gasped as they could see that the machines looked like robotic versions of the RED team. The Robots let out battle cries as the first wave charged towards the town. Ponies were panicking and entering and locking their homes and stores.

The royal guard fought most of the first wave, RED supporting from a distance. Engineer's level three sentry took out the last of the first wave as the remaining guards fell back to the town.

"My lady, we lost a lot of ponies to that first wave, we're not sure how long-" one of the guards said but was hi by a bullet before he could finish.

"SNIPER!" Soldier yelled, taking cover. He got his radio and contacted their Sniper. "Sniper, we got an enemy sniper, take him out!" Soldier yelled before firing rockets at the second wave. Pyro was laughing manically as he burned what robots he could. Engineer's sentry was destroying robot after robot, but the waves kept coming.

"Sniper looked through the scope of his machina, and found the robot sniper firing from behind a tree. He took his shot, destroying the sniper's head with one shot.

"That's how we do it in the bush!" Sniper mocked, waving towards the robot remains.

After a few more waves, the onslaught stopped for a while. RED felt uneasy at the silence. The ponies had mainly been defending their homes from what robots slipped past RED.

"Why do you think it's so quiet?" Twilight asked Applejack.

"Ah don't know, but Ah don't like it." she responded. Suddenly, the ground started to shake tremendously. Everyone looked towards the carrying tank to see a giant, rolling bomb coming towards ponyville.

"Stop that bomb! Concentrate fire on it and watch out for other robots!" Soldier ordered his men. Heavy Started to fire at it with Natascha, while medic was healing him, working up his ubercharge. Pyro had tried to set it ablaze, but it would not catch on fire even though it was doing damage. Demoman Fired his pipe bombs at it to add effect.

Engineer and Sniper started to fire at some robots that was coming up. It was easy sailing, until a giant soldier bot came. It had a bombs strapped on it's back, obviously having the same mission as the tank. Engineer's sentry fired at the Giant Soldier bot, dealing damage, but the bot returned fire. Engineer jumped out of the way just in time, but his sentry and dispenser got destroyed

"Damn Dag Nab it!" Engineer yelled, falling back.

"Oorah!" Soldier yelled just as he, pyro, demoman, and heavy destroyed the tank. Engineer then came up to them and told them about the giant soldier.

"Damn," Soldier muttered. "Scout!" He yelled. Scout, who he and Dash hand been running around distracting some of the robots, ran up to soldier, panting.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"You and Rainbow Dash go try to distract that giant soldier. Watch out for his rocket fire. Pyro, Heavy, you shoot at the damn thing while they distract it.

"Mmph mmph!" Pyro said, saluting.

"Da!" Heavy said. He, pyro, scout, and dash then ran off to distract the soldier. It was a tough fight, but they were able to destroy the soldier. They reported back to the princesses, who were working on a spell to put a shield over Ponyville.

"You are all fighting valiantly, but how many more are there?" Princess Celestia asked.

"I'm not sure ma'am. Could still be hundreds." Engineer said. He then got on te radio with sniper. "Sniper, is another wave comin'?" he asked him.

"Yeah, but they're just gearing up. We have time to get ready. Obviously these muppets didn't think we'd last this long." Sniper said. He was then quiet, before he could be heard over the radio, yelling, "Holy Dooley!"

"Sniper, what is it?!" Engineer asked.

"They got bloody spies!" Sniper said.

"Damn.." Engineer muttered.

"Sorry to pop in, but I have an idea." Spy suddenly said. "Maybe my sapper can work on these robots like they do on sentries and dispensers." he suggested.

"It's worth a shot Spy." Engineer said.

"Next wave incoming!" Sniper said over the radio. RED could hear shots from Snipers machina. Heavy ran out to the battlefield, and saw Fluttershy trying to lead animals to a safe place. But a robot demoman was heading towards her.

"I MUST SAVE FLUTTER PONY!" Heavy yelled, charging towards the robot. Fluttershy turned just in time to see Heavy knock down the robot that was chasing her. Heavy then blasted a shot from his shotgun into the robot, destroying it.

"Is little Flutter pony alright?" Heavy asked Fluttershy, getting down on one knee.

"Y-yes. Thank you Heavy." Fluttershy said.

"Heavy is friend to all. And especially you." Heavy said. Fluttershy smiled at this, and wrapped heavy in a hug. Heavy was caught off guard for a moment, but then returned the hug.

After the hug, Fluttershy then continued to do her job, as Heavy did his.

"Come on you walking tin cans! My Grandmother can rocket jump better than your sorry asses can fight!" Soldier taunted as he destroyed tons of robots. Then, Red paused for a moment as they heard war cries coming from the sky. They looked up and saw white and shadow colored creatures of all kind flying towards Ponyville.

"That don't look good." Soldier said to himself. He then fired at the creatures, but his rockets went right through them.

"Guess only magic can destroy them." Demoman said as he came up to Soldier.

"Well then that battle is up to the princesses and the girls." Soldier said. They then heard the whirring of more machines as regular robots and giant ones were coming towards them.

"Mien Comrades, I Zhink we better retreat." Medic suggested as he healed Soldier and Demoman.

"Aye, the doc be right solly." Demoman said. Soldier never liked to fall back, but he knew they were right. He got his radio and contacted Sniper.

"Sniper, We're having to fall back to Ponyville. Provide sniper cover for us the best you can." Soldier said.

"Right on it mate!" Sniper responded.

When they finally got back, they could see a barrage of spells being casted back and forth between the two magical forces. Pegasus ponies were fighting flying creatures, and Earth ponies were helping fight ground creatures. RED could see a magical shield that you could not fire through (on the outside) but can fire through on the inside, and walk through both ways was dwindling. Soldier, Demoman, Medic, Pyro, and Heavy went through the shield, regrouping with Sniper, Scout, Spy, and Engineer.

"Well, My sappers can work on the robots, but it is hell trying to get to them with zhose robot pyros." Spy said.

"And those confounded Demomen robots and soldiers keep destroying my sentries and dispensers before I can set them up." Engineer said.

"And I'm actually getting tired for once!" Scout complained.

"We have to keep fighting. They have to run out eventually!" Soldier said. The mane six then came up to them.

"Guys, our magical shield is almost out of energy, and we are getting too tired to cast another spell to regenerate it. What is the situation on the robots?" Twilight said as the girls came up to them.

"We still don't know how many of those robots are left." Sniper said. "How much longer to we have on the shield?"

"About 5 minutes at best." Twilight said.

"We have to take defensive positions, get dug in." Soldier said. Everyone agreed to this, and Twilight told the princesses, who nodded in agreement. So they all spent the next 5 minutes taking defensive positions.

"Sister, They're shield is almost gone." Shadow stallion said. He and Ghost mare were watching from behind their lines.

"Yes, and Deca dance's robotic inventions, along with my multiplying spell, has been wearing down the humans. Soon, we will have the elements of harmony, and then, all equestria!" Ghost mare said. The two laughed evilly as they watched the shield be destroyed by the dark creatures and the robots.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

"This is it." Soldier said. RED was in a line in their defensive position (a trench made by the explosion of the tank from earlier.) and preparing for the worst. The Princesses and the mane six were with them.

"So, this is the last stand." Twilight said. Inside, she had nearly excepted defeat.

"Yep." Soldier replied. Twilight looked at him.

"So you know this is suicide?" She asked him.

"Yep." Soldier replied.

"They got us surrounded…the poor bastards."

The Shield dissipated, and the creatures created by the Ghost's Shadow and the robots let out a war cry as they charged. RED and the ponies Let out their own war cry as the attacked as well.

It was completely clear that the end was near.

Chapter 11: Mann vs. Machine, Pt. 2

"A/N: Hey guys, thanks for trusting in me with this story. A lot as happened and I haven't been able to work on this story for a while, but here is the next chapter, and I intended to work on my other stories when I can. Enjoy and please review!

"SCREAMING EAGLES!" Soldier bellowed as he fired his Black Box at some of the robots. Then a few of the magical shadow creatures cam towards him, when suddenly Derpy flew in front of soldier and attacked the shadow creatures, beating them.

"Thanks" Soldier said with a smile.

"Not a problem," Derpy replied with a smile. Soldier ran off to regroup with Heavy, medic, and Engineer, while Derpy regrouped with some of the other ponies.

"Robots are not backing down!" Heavy said to engineer as he fired Natascha.

"I know it, but we have to keep fightin'!" Engineer said as he got his sentry up to level three. He cursed at how it seemed like so many spies would appear and sap his inventions.

"Engineer, where is Sniper?" Medic asked.

"He is still sniping from Twilights house but he said he is going to try to get to us with his huntsman, but he's keeping his machina just incase." Engineer replied.

Then, scout ran up to Engineer's dispenser.

"Yo hardhat, on my way back here I saw some big beeping bomb thing. You have an idea what it is?" Scout asked.

Engineer looked toward where scout was pointing, and saw what looked like a giant sticky bomb on legs running towards his sentry. Demoman fired his bomb launcher at it, but the explosions didn't destroy it. Pyro then fired his scorch shot at it. It did little damage. Engineer then saw it heading toward his sentry that he had just made level three.

"NOO!" Engineer yelled, running toward his sentry, cursing worse than a sailor all the way. He picked it up and started to run. He looked behind him, and saw the sentry buster chasing him.

"HELP!" Engineer yelled.

"MPMPH MPMPH!" Pyro yelled, chasing and trying to destroy the sentry buster. But Pyro got held up when a robot Demoman started to fire at him, forcing Pyro to take cover. Engineer tripped. He dropped his toolbox, which made his sentry deploy.

The sentry buster ran up to it, and it's top started to spin. Engineer looked around, and saw a crater that an explosion made. Knowing there was no hope for his sentry, he got up and ran towards it to take cover. But just as he jumped, the sentry buster exploded, blowing him into the crater.

Engineer grunted in pain as he heard the once usual sound of bones breaking. He was bleeding in multiple areas. He did the only thing he had done for years when he was hurt.

"MEDIC!"

Medic immediately turned his head at the call of his long time comrade. "Ze Engineer is hurt!" he yelled. The others were caught in sudden shock. It was the first time they were caught off guard with a team mate being injured in years. Sniper and Twilight had just joined the others.

"We have to get him," Soldier said. Everyone else, especially Applejack, agreed. Applejack, Soldier, Sniper, and Demoman would cover Medic as they ran to Engineer.

"We're coming lad!" Demoman yelled, firing some pipe bombs at a robot soldier, destroying it.

"Get him doc, we've got you covered!" Sniper said. He fired his huntsman at a robot demoman, the arrow going straight into it's robotic eye.

Medic aimed his medi-gun at Engineer, healing him. As soon as Engineer was back at 100 % health, Applejack ran up to him and hugged him.

"Oh, Thank goodness you're aright!" Applejack said.

"Yeah, I ain't out of this fight yet." Engineer said. After the two finished the hug, they ran back with the others to where the other ponies and the princesses were. They were all tired as the robots and shadow creatures finally backed off.

"What's the status report?" Princess Celestia asked, nearly out of breath from the fighting.

"Some buildings got destroyed, and there were casualties in the royal guard, but no deaths have been confirmed." Twilight said.

"Why do I feel like they left for a reason.." Sniper muttered to Engineer as the group walked back to Twilight's house.

"Ah don't know, it may just be because of how long we were fighting." Engineer replied. The group entered Twilight's house, and Engineer walked over to the table where they had the plans to build the teleporter. Engineer looked on the table, then muttered something. He then franticly looked on the table.

"What is it?" Soldier asked as he and Sniper walked over to the table.

"The plans,' they're…. gone." Engineer said. Scout heard him, and being the loudmouth he is, blurted it out.

"THE PLANS ARE GONE?!"

Everyone looked at Scout, and then at Engineer.

"One of those bloody spies must have snuck in here and took it," Sniper said.

"Pretty good for a robot," Spy said.

"Well, the tank's gone, and we have no means of transportation to chase it," Demoman said. Everyone thought about it, thinking that there chances of going home had been crushed.

But Sniper had an idea.

"Princess Celestia," Sniper said, "I know you said that you couldn't teleport us back to our world, but can you teleport something from our world here?" he asked her.

"I could try," Celestia told him. Her and Sniper stepped outside, the others following. Sniper then whispered something to Celestia, and she nodded. She then closed her eyes and her horn started to glow, and a one way portal opened.

Sniper then pointed at an object in the portals view, and Celestia nodded. A bright beam of light then shined from the portal, and when it faded away, Sniper had a big grin on his face as he looked at one of his most prized possesions.

"Mates, we have a way to get to them now."

On the tank…

"Well, despite the amount of robots it took, we successfully took the plans for the teleporter," Shadow Stallion reported to Ghost Mare.

"Excellent, looks like the robots proved good use after all." Ghost Mare reported.

Deca Dance then ran into the room that Ghost Mare and Shadow Stallion were in. "Um, Sir and Mistress, we have a problem." the two looked at Deca, and then followed her. They came to a large room that had a monitor showing something that they would have never expected.

Shadow stallion broke the silence. "What the fu-

"I'M COMIN' FOR YA, YA MONGROLS!" Sniper yelled. The others feared for their lives. RED always knew it was potentially dangerous when Sniper was doing this. He swerved to avoid a random cow that was in front of them as Sniper's signature van speeded on towards the tank.

"Sniper, this is why I never like to ride anywhere with you!" Spy shouted as he and Rarity held on to each other for dear life.

"This is so awesome! I'll have to get me one of these!" Rainbow dash said.

"Quit hoppin around like a bunch of Kangaroos! You don't know how long it took me to get RED to let me keep this!" Sniper yelled.

"This is worse than having to spend the week at my old roommate's place!" Soldier said.

"Quit yer' complaining, we've almost caught up with the tank!" Applejack said. Sniper moved closer to the tank, and noticed a way to get in through a door that was on the side.

"Well, looks like the writer's making it easy for us." Scout said.

"Shh, he may not like it when we do that!" Pinkie pie said.

"What are you…AHHHH!" Spy yelled as Sniper swerved close to the tank.

"This is as close as I can get us, we're gonna have to jump!" Sniper said.

"Are you crazy!?" Scout told him.

"Since when did zhat matter?!" Medic said. Sniper tied his seatbelt to the steering wheel where it wouldn't move, and opened the door.

Scout and Dash went first, making it easily. Then Heavy and Fluttershy went next. It took Dash and Fluttershy together to lift heavy up and miraculously got him onto the tank. Applejack jumped next, followed by Engineer. Then Pyro use a air compression from his backburner to blow pinkie onto the tank, him following after. Medic jumped next, making it.

Soldier then jumped, and made it with a rocket jump. Demoman jumped, and used his chargin' targe to sprint onto the tank. He hit the side with a thud, and held his head.

"Oi, I have to learn how to stop that." he said with a moan.

After Twilight and the princesses jumped onto the tank, Sniper and Spy were left.

"Well, I guess we're next," Spy said.

"Yeah. You know, If we don't make it, I just wanna let you know, You're a good mate." Sniper said.

"You as well. I feel like We were meant to be colleagues." Spy said.

"On three then?" Sniper said with a smile.

"One," Spy started.

"Two," Sniper said.

"THREE!" Both yelled, jumping. The van decelerated when they jumped out. Sniper made it, but Spy slipped as he landed. He started to slip off the edge.

"Help!" Spy yelled. He fell over the Edge and closed his eyes, waiting to hit the ground. But he opened his eyes, and saw that he hadn't hit the ground. He looked up and was looking into the sunglasses of Sniper, who had grabbed his hand.

"I got ya mate." Sniper said. Spy smiled at his friend, and knew that he had- and will- always have his back. Spy grabbed Sniper's other hand and Sniper lifted him up.

"Thanks," Spy said, fist bumping Sniper.

"Don't mention it." Sniper said. They regrouped and entered the entrance way.

"So, we ready?" Soldier said.

"We better be," Sniper said,

"We're in the hornet's nest now mate."

Chapter 12: The Hornet's Nest

Everyone sneaked through the giant machine as quietly as possible.

"Do you think we are close?" Princess Luna asked.

"I'm not sure. This is a mighty big machine after all," Engineer replied. They walked for a while longer until Sniper and Spy stopped dead in their tracks.

"Wait, you hear that?" Sniper asked.

"As a matter of fact, I did," Spy replied. "Everyone, take cover." Spy then said. The group hid and saw a squad of the robots marching down a hallway, followed by two shadow guards.

"So, what do you think the bosses will do with those plans?" One asked.

"Not sure, I've heard rumors about how Ghost mare can seem a bit crazy at times." The other replied. "Anyway, lets get back to the mapping and intelligence room." the two then disappeared as they walked along the hallway.

"Well, best guess is we follow them." Soldier said. And so they did. They went on for a while without being noticed..

"This is too easy…. I don't like it." Sniper said as he walked up beside Soldier.

"You're right." Soldier said. Then, as if on cue, a sliding glass barrier immediately slid down between the group, separating Soldier and Sniper from the others.

The other RED members beat on the glass, the ponies beating their hoofs on it. Scout tried to shoot it, but the glass was bulletproof. It was even magic proof.

"What do we do now?!" Twilight asked Soldier through the glass.

"We will have to just have to take different routes to the intelligence room. Try your best not to get caught, if you're spotted, go loud." soldier said. The others nodded as they went down another corridor.

"Well, guess it's just us then, better get moving mate." Sniper said. He and Soldier then walked down the hallway, then turning to the right. They walked into a room that had some metal crates lying around. Sniper and Soldier carefully walked through the room.

"Wait, I heard something," Soldier then said. He pointed to his left, and sure enough, there were three soldier robots. Sniper and Soldier quietly took cover as the robots started walking their way. One of the soldier bots was only about 3 feet away from Soldier, when a teleporting noise was suddenly heard. There was then a crash, then a thud. Sniper could hear the electricity of the robots being destroyed. They then heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Robots? What the Fuck?" the voice said. Soldier peeked over the crate he was behind just enough to see two men. They had on two black, military like uniforms on, but one had a camouflage ghillie Suit over his. Soldier could see a patch on their arms, the patch had a black Spade with a desert color background. The one in the ghille suit started to look at Soldier, Soldier immediately pulling his head down.

"Hey, someone's over there," The ghillie suited one said, and pointed at the box Soldier was behind. "Anyone there?" the voice then called out.

"Oi, Who's out there?" Sniper then replied, not picking his head up.

"Well, we're two U.S. soldiers in a special forces group called Shadow com-" but before the other man could finish, the teleporting noise was once again heard.

"Oh, Come on!" The voice of the ghillie suited one said, before the teleporting noise ended. There was then silence.

"Must have been our imagination." Soldier said.

"Well, guess we'll never know. Now let's get moving." Sniper said, the two heading towards the intelligence room.

Sniper and Soldier had made it to the door that led into the intelligence room. Sniper got on one side, Soldier, the other.

"Right, on three." Soldier said. "One. Two. Three!"

The two barged in, letting out a war yell, only to find the room empty. There were numerous papers spread across tables and the floor.

"Looks like whoever was in here left in quite a hurry." Soldier said. Sniper walked over to a set of small Tvs and noticed that they were security cameras. He saw one labeled, " Hallway B/lead way to dungeon." His jaw dropped when he saw what was on the camera.

"Oi, Soldier, you might wanna take a look at this." Sniper said, calling Soldier.

"What is it Aussie?" Soldier asked. Sniper simply pointed at the TV. Soldier took his helmet off, clearly at a loss for words. On the video, Sniper and Soldier could see the girls, princesses, and the other RED members in shackles being took to the dungeon.

"Why, you bloody no brained rum wasting half beats are lucky ye got me in chains, or else I would-" Demoman said, before taking an uppercut from a soldier robot. The squad of robots that surrounded the group, pushed them into the dungeon, and locked the group in it.

"Why those sons of bitches," Soldier muttered.

"Well, have any experience in rescue missions in your "war time" in Germany?" Sniper asked.

"Hell, the only thing I knew was kill all Nazi sons of bitches." Soldier said.

"Well, According to these schematics," Sniper said while pointing at a map of the tank, " The controls to the dungeons are in the Main power room. This is more than likely where the Ghosts Shadow would be." Sniper said. An Alarm then went off, and they could hear Ghost Mare's feminine, but hostile voice.

"All robots and shadow guards be advised, The RED Sniper and RED Soldier are still free and roaming among the tank. I repeat, The RED Sniper and RED Soldier have not been caught. We can not let them foil our plans and free the others. Stop them at all costs!" Ghost mare's voice said over the speakers.

Soldier and Sniper looked at each other, and loaded their weapons.

"Well, Guess now this is an Army of two," Soldier said as he aimed his rocket launcher at a door. The door opened, reveling multiple robots.

"looks like it." Sniper said, then firing his Huntsman. The next battle had begun.

Chapter 13: Breakout

A/N: I'm very sorry that it has taken me this long to put this chapter up, I have been very busy helping my family after some rough times, and also having to compensate with this and school. Soldier smiled menacingly as he destroyed the last robot with his Reserve Shooter. Sniper aimed down the hallway with his huntsman.

"All clear." Sniper said.

"Right." Soldier said. They walked down the hallway, going in the direction they guessed the dungeon was.

"So, was any of the "war" like this?" Sniper asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Somewhat." Soldier said, keeping a steady face. "Except They were the ones hiding."

"That bad, eh?" Sniper said.

"Just hope nothing like that happens here." Soldier said. "So how has things been here for you?" he then asked.

"They've been alright I guess. It's not the Outback, but it's good." Sniper said.

"The girls seem alright to ya?" Soldier then asked.

"You know how good they've been to us, we were lucky to meet them." Sniper said. "So how about you and that Derpy girl, eh mate?" Sniper asked.

"Well, she's definitely been nicer to me than any human I've met." Soldier said.

"Same here with Twi. Guess they've known friendship and all longer than hate. I honestly hope that doesn't change after we leave." Sniper said.

"If we're able to leave." Soldier said. He then looked at Sniper and snickered.

"What?" Sniper asked.

"Well, I was just wondering since I see you two hanging out together a lot, if Twilight was a human.." Sniper stopped him before he could finished, knowing where he was going.

"Well, I mean, uh, Twi's nice and all, and we're good friends, but I mean, come on, she's a pony for Christ's sake…" Sniper said, stuttering. Soldier couldn't hide the goofy grin on his face.

"Aw, has our big bad Sniper fallen for a non human girl?" Soldier said with a mocking tone, like how a mother would sound talking to a baby. Sniper steamed a little, making soldier chuckle.

"I'm just messing with ya." Soldier said. "so how long do you think we got till we get near that dungeon?" Soldier asked.

"not sure, but I bet it will be heavily guarded. I remember looking over a schematics for it, saying it was magic proof also, so they wouldn't be able to teleport out." Sniper said.

"Right…" Soldier said.

"Just watch my back mate." Sniper said, keeping his huntsman steady as they walked down the hallways.

"Don't worry, I've got your back… mate." Soldier said, jokingly mocking Sniper's accent with the last word. Sniper playfully punched his shoulder, and the two men laughed. Looks like with even their differences, they could learn to put some of their differences aside.

The noise of Applejack's hooves beating against the cell door echoed across the room. Applejack finally stopped, legs sore, when Engineer stopped her.

"You've been tryin' for about 30 minutes now, you'll break your legs before that door even dents." Engineer said. Applejack mumbled.

"I guess your right." Applejack said, walking back to the others with Engineer. Scout, Rainbow Dash, Heavy, and Fluttershy were playing go fish with a deck of cards that Scout forgot he had, while the others were trying to figure a way out to escape.

"Our magic won't work in this cell, they must have put a spell on it." Luna said.

"We'll, I definitely can't buck it down." Applejack said, her back legs still somewhat wobbly.

"Engineer, what about your sentry?" Celestia asked.

"I don't have enough metal. The scraps I could get in here aren't enough." Engineer said, arms crossed.

"Our only hope then is Sniper and Soldier." Twilight said.

"So what do you think their gonna do to us?" Fluttershy worriedly asked.

"I won't let them do anything to little Fluttershy." Heavy said, doing his best to keep her calm.

"If anything, they won't do nothing to us yet, they'll want us in here so Sniper and Soldier come for us." Scout said, putting down a two of spades.

"How do you know that?" Dash asked, putting down her two of spades. As long as RED have been in Equestria, none of them have figured out YET how the ponies that weren't unicorns could hold items with their hoofs.

"I've seen it in the movies all the time. We're being held as hostages to attract the others." Scout replied.

"I will crush evil shadow's bones." heavy said menacingly. The group stayed quiet for a little time, before they heard the familiar voice of Ghost mare.

"Having fun?" she mocked.

"More than you'll have when we break out of here." Scout said.

"Aw, the little pipsqueak is trying to threaten me." Ghost mare mocked.

"Well, you have two reasons to be scared right now." Engineer said.

"And what would that be?" Ghost mare asked.

"Three words: Sniper and Soldier." Engineer replied.

"Oh, they won't be any more of a problem soon." Ghost mare said, laughing evilly.

"What do ye mean?" Demoman asked.

"Observe." Ghost mare said. A small flashed sparked on a wall, and a T.V. appeared on the wall, and it showed Sniper and Soldier.

"now watch as I unleash this fun little robot that I found hidden on-board." Ghost mare said. The group gasped as they saw what she meant.

"Aw Hell." Was all that Engineer could say, and it was a good representation of what the group thought.

Sniper checked the corner. "This hallway's clear." Sniper turned the corner, aiming his huntsman. Soldier was right behind him, aiming his Black Box.

"You think we're going in circles?" Soldier asked.

"I'm not sure, all these hallways look the bloody same." Sniper said. They moved silently, but stopped dead in their tracks when they heard footsteps. Loud, thudding footsteps. They each hid behind an arch that was connect to the wall. Snipers eyes widened as he saw a large, robotic Engineer walked past the arches, a toolbox in it's arms. After it passed, Sniper looked over at Soldier, who looked just as flabbergasted as Sniper.

"What the hell do we do?" Soldier mouthed. Sniper shook his head, signaling he didn't know what to do.

Things got even worse when the robot engineer proclaimed, "Buildin' a sentry."

Soldier's grip on his black box tightened as he saw the large level one sentry build itself.

"I wish spy were here…" Soldier thought to himself. Sniper quietly got Soldier's attention, and made a moving motion with his hand, signaling that they would try to sneak away. Soldier nodded, and on the count of three, they slowly turned around the arches, trying to sneak away from the engineer. Just as they thought they were going to actually get away, the two stopped dead as the metal under them creaked.

"Damn." Soldier whispered. They turned around, and were looking into the blue robotic goggles of the engineer, who had his sentry in his arms.

"Y'all are gonna have a real bad day," the robot engineer said. He put his sentry down, and it built itself into a level three sentry, faster than a regular sentry would build. By the time the engineer looked up, about to laugh, he saw Sniper and Soldier already half way down the hallway, running in a full sprint.

"Darn." the engineer said, picking up his sentry and running with it. The engineer hobbled down the hallway, past a few arches, and went into a different room. After the door slid closed, Soldier and Sniper looked around one of the arches that the engineer had past.

"Well, If we keep moving, it can't keep it's sentry deployed." Sniper said.

"We can't keep running around here like rejects from the three stooges though." Sniper said.

"But there's one problem." Soldier said with a serious tone, looking at Sniper.

"What's that?" Sniper asked.

"There's only two of us. It's called three stooges for a reason." Soldier said. Sniper looked at Soldier for a moment, but could tell that Soldier was actually serious. Sniper groaned and face palmed.

"Come on, we've got to find that power room to open the dungeon door." Sniper said. They walked quietly for a while, until one door caught Soldiers' eye.

"Hey, what's this here?" Soldier said, grabbing Snipers' shoulder. They looked up, and observed a little sign above the door, and it read "DO NOT ENTER: MULTI DIMENSIONAL ENTRANCES AND PRISONER DUNGEONS".

"Multidimensional entrances? Why the hell does this tank have so many things that shouldn't be able to exist?" Soldier ranted.

"Mate, a few weeks, uh, months, or uh… however long we've been here ago, we didn't even know there was a separate dimension filled with multicolored ponies." Sniper said. It had just hit him that he had no idea how long they had been here. Did the administrator brand them dead? Has RED shut down in their absence? Was BLU even still around? He pondered on these questions until he was suddenly grabbed by Soldier. And like a rag doll, he was dragged through the air by Soldier, who was going into the room.

"One of these doors has to be the dungeon." Soldier said. Sniper broke free of Soldiers' grip, and wiped his vest.

"Ya bloody helmet head, you could have broke my shoulder." Sniper said, rubbing it as it was a little sore from Soldiers' death-like grip.

"Stop being such a wuss you Aussie." Soldier said. Sniper muttered something about "bloody Americans" but followed his teammate. They saw multiple, possibly hundreds, of doors on each side of the hallways.

"All these doors, and only one of them is possibly the dungeon." Soldier said.

"Well, we got all of this chapter, so we better get started." Sniper said, walking to one of the doors.

"Right." Soldier said. After about two seconds, he stopped in his tracks, and lifted his helmet up to get a clearer sight of Sniper. "Wait, what?" He scratched his head, but just mumbled. "Damn Australians, all that australium gets to their heads, screws them up." he caught up to Sniper, who was standing in front of the first door, with a steel "1" on it.

"You ready?" Sniper asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Soldier said. Sniper opened the door, and they saw an 8-bit man with a block head and blue shirt, holding an 8-bit axe in one hand, a diamond in the other. The three just exchanged glances. Soldier immediately slammed the door shut, and the two looked at each other. They were silent for a few seconds.

"Well, this one's not it." Sniper said, immediately moving to door number two. "Yep, moving on." Soldier said, putting his black box on his back. They stood in front of the door with a "2" on it. Sniper looked at Soldier, who blankly looked back.

"What?" Sniper said, "I opened the last one."

"Fine." Soldier said. He gulped, and got a grip on the steel doorknob. He didn't know why these doors had doorknobs, but he decided not to question it. He slowly turned it, and looked at Sniper. Sniper counted down from three with his fingers, and at zero, Soldier slung the door open. They looked as they saw a clean, white facility. A giant, robotic like arm with what soldier guessed was a robotic head connected to it. The robot's one orange "eye" turned and looked at the two men.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?" the feminine, yet robotic voice asked, obviously shocked to see two live humans.

"Uh, We're looking for our friends. We're having to open multiple dimensional gateways, or "doors" if you will. They are in a dungeon. guess this isn't it." Soldier said

"Oh. I am GLaDOS, the overseer of the Aperture science facility and it's testing rooms, which I currently have one subject testing. Who are you?" GLaDOS asked.

"Well, I'm simply known as "Soldier, and this here is my teammate Sniper." Soldier said.

"Oh. Well, with all honesty, it is nice to meet you. Maybe I can use more test subjects." GLaDOS said, a robotic arm coming out of a sliding panel. It started to lunge at Sniper, but Soldier slammed the door shut, and the two held it closed until Soldier figured out a way to lock it.

"That was to close." Soldier said.

"You're telling me. I've had it up to bloody here with robots." Sniper said. They moved to a different door, and Sniper put his hand on the doorknob. "Watch my back." he said.

"Whatever's behind this one can't be as bad as that GLaDOS character." Soldier said. Sniper swung the door open, aimed his huntsman, and went into the door, Soldier waiting outside. It was only about 5 seconds later when Soldier heard a male voice yell "FUS RO DAH" and Sniper was blown out of the door into the wall, the door slamming closed on it's own.

"Eh, that's not the one." Sniper said, obviously stunned, his hat, "The Trophy belt" flipped downward on his face. Sniper was seeing kangaroos hopping around his head. Soldier helped him up, and they continued looking through some of the doors. They went to a different door, but neither one of them volunteered to open it. Finally, Soldier and Sniper went rock, paper, scissors for it. Sniper lost, so he had to open it. Sniper groaned, and opened the door.

Soldier's face turned from one of slight anger to full rage when he saw what was behind this door.

"Whoa, far out dude." a man with a dye-die shirt and long hair said, holding a peace sign.

"HIPPIES!" Soldier bellowed, and Sniper knew this would be trouble. He pulled Soldier back and slammed the door, locking it.

"Forget about it mate! He's not following us!" Sniper said, calming Soldier down. Sniper sighed a sigh of relief, and they went to the next door. Sniper got a good grip on the handle, and opened it.

"Holy dooly!" Sniper yelled. He and Soldier saw a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which turned its head at them. It roared and started to jog towards them. They both slammed the door, Sniper locking it the same way Soldier locked to other one.

They went to the next one. Soldier opened it. When they looked in, Sniper took off his sunglasses, making sure he wasn't imagining what he and Soldier saw. They were looking at the halls of a high school, and they could see 6 multi-colored humans (among a high school full of them), that had a VERY Scary resemblance to the ponies, as if they had turned into humans. Sniper slammed the door shut.

"Did you see what I saw?" Sniper asked, wide eyed.

"Yep." Soldier said, just as flabbergasted as Sniper.

"This stays between you and me, mate." Sniper then said, putting his sunglasses back on.

"Yep." Soldier said with the same tone as his last response. The moved on to one other door, which they thought would have to be it. Soldier slowly opened it, Sniper aiming with his Huntsman. They slowly stepped into the room, it looking like something out of a Sci-fi movie. They walked to what appeared to be a control circuit board that circled around the middle of the walkway, with a tall tube with a unique looking pipe pumping up and down inside the tube.

"You think this is the control room?" Sniper asked.

"Not sure. Guess we'll have to start pressing buttons and find out." Soldier said. The two observed the console, filled with a vast array of buttons and levers. But just as soldier was about to press one, until they heard a voice that practically froze them in place.

"You two stop right there. Don't move, keep your hands where I can see them." the voice of a woman said. She had a Scottish accent, but it was not as strong as Demoman's accent. Soldier and Sniper put their hands up slowly, and stood up straight, but didn't turn around.

"You work here?" Sniper asked.

"Why should I tell you anything? YOU should tell me how you got on the TARDIS!" The woman contrasted.

"The what?" Soldier asked.

"The- uh, never mind. You stay still, I'm keeping my eye on you." the woman said. She started walking slowly backwards, and hollered "Doctor, you have uninvited guests!" Sniper and Soldier looked at each other, both with a questionable look.

"Visitors? VISITORS?! No, that's not possible, inconceivable! Nice word by the way, never heard anyone else use it, but it just sounds scientific, inconceivable. Nice ring to it. Anyway, visitors?!" A man with an English accent said. Soldier and Sniper turned around, and saw a ginger haired woman, obviously the one that told them to freeze, and they saw a man, who was wearing a rose colored shirt, braces (the kind that hold your trousers up), a tweed jacket (with elbow patches), a bow tie (bow ties are cool), narrow trousers and black lace-up boots. The man stopped in his tracks when he first saw Sniper and Soldier. "How did they get here?" the man, whose title was obviously the doctor, said.

"Well, I was looking out the window of the TARDIS door, and then I heard a flashing noise behind me, so I turned around and I saw these two walking through some kind of steel door. Then they went to the control console. That's when I stopped them." the woman said.

"Right." the "Doctor" said. He then started walking slowly towards Sniper and Soldier. "Then I guess we'll have to treat them like they deserve." the Doctor said. Sniper and Soldier didn't like the sound of that. The Doctor approached Sniper, looking him in the eyes. The Doctor immediately hugged Sniper, laughing. This caught both Sniper and Soldier off guard.

"What the bloody hell?" Sniper said.

"Two multi-dimensional travelers that goes through time and space! Brilliant!" the Doctor said. "But how did you do it? And how the bloody hell did it Let you on the TARDIS? Last time anyone "appeared" on the TARDIS was a nice woman that was about to get married!" he continued. "She was a nice woman by the way, kind of feisty, something I normally don't expect from British women." The Doctor said to the woman.

"Well, who are you two?" Soldier asked.

"Well, This here is my wonder full friend Amy Pond, and I'm the Doctor. And over here is her husband Ror-" the Doctor said, but stopped in mid sentence. "Where is Rory?" he asked.

"Rory's been sick ever since we left Chloris. He never did well in any jungle, and alien ones are no exception." Amy said.

"Oh, well that's sad. I'm sure it's nothing though, Chloris only has 2 deadly diseases out of the possible 300 diseases." The Doctor said quickly. "Anyway, who are you two men? Soldiers obviously since you're armed. I never did prefer guns." the Doctor said.

"Right, I'm Sniper, and my teammate here is Soldier." Sniper said.

"Are those your real names?" Amy asked.

"No, but their our title and we only call each other by that. It's for security purposes." Sniper said.

"See Amy, I'm not the only being in the universe that only uses their title." The Doctor said with a hint of victory in his tone.

"Uh, I hate to interrupt, but we need help." Soldier said.

"Really now? That could be the whole reason that you two could have accessed the TARDIS!" the Doctor said, clearly excited. "Come on you three, we have a new adventure! Sniper and Soldier, if you could tell us your destination, we will head their and you can explain your situation to us along the way.

"Well," Sniper started, "we were in a dimension where we were on a planet called Equestria." Sniper said.

"Equestria? The planet full of the talking multi-colored ponies?" the Doctor asked, already knowing the answer. "Brilliant. Nice planet, Equestria. Name is unique, different. Let's see," The Doctor said pressing buttons, turning switches, occasionally looking at a small screen he had hanging up. As the TARDIS came into the equestrian atmosphere, the doctor was surprised at what he saw.

"A tank? That's not very Equestrian of the Equestrians." The Doctor said. He then turned to Sniper, who was now beside the Doctor, observing the screen.

"It's a robotic tank from our dimension. We found out it's from ours when we went into an intelligence room. It had maps of some of our bases, so we figured it's from Earth. That bloody bastard's armed to the teeth with robots and two ponies that are nothing but trouble." Sniper said with a dead serious tone.

"Well, we have to get rid of it then." The Doctor said.

"We have friends stuck in their also. They were taken prisoner, we were trying to find the dungeon when we found a room full of doors that lead to other dimensions, like a teleporter." Soldier said.

"Right, well, Let's just appear in the dungeon! GERONIMO!" the Doctor yelled with excitement. The TARDIS started shaking rapidly, causing the group to find something to hold on to. Amy was sure Rory was getting a headache along with his sickness.

The Doctor said looked at his screen. "here we go, the dungeon. Well, the right one anyway, there are multiple dungeons on this floor." he said. The TARDIS made its infamous whirring noise as it slowly appeared inside the dungeon that the ponies and the rest of RED were stuck in.

Demoman had now taken applejack's spot, banging his fists on the door as hard as possible.

"Try all you want, the door is not going to open." Engineer said. He was sitting on a metal crate, leaned back against the wall, playing his guitar. The others, all out of ideas, simply gathered around Engineer to listen to him and his guitar. Engineer was playing "Ain't No Grave" by Johnny Cash.

"Well I'm not bloody standin' aboot. I'm still trying." Demoman said. His hands had gone numb, but he kept going. The only thing that stopped him was a loud whirring noise that filled the room. It caught everyone's attention, and everyone's eyes widened when they saw a blue police box slowly start to appear in the room. When it fully appeared, the door opened, and the Doctor stepped out.

"Well, Good day to you all, Engineer, Scout, Demoman, Spy, Medic, Heavy, Pyro, Mane 6 and princesses! I believe I have something of yours." the Doctor said. He stepped aside, revealing Sniper and Soldier.

"Sniper! Soldier!" everyone exclaimed, embracing the two. Twilight ran to Sniper and hugged him.

"When we saw that robot engineer, we thought we lost you and Soldier…" she said. Sniper hugged her, doing his best to comfort her.

"Did you really think a couple of bloody robots could stop this Aussie?" he said assuringly. Twilight chuckled, a tear falling down her face.

"Well, look what the Texas tornado brought in." Engineer said, fist bumping Soldier.

"It was a hell of a trip." Soldier said.

"Well, we're all back together, but how do we get out?" Scout asked.

"That's where I come in." the Doctor said.

"And who are you?" Applejack asked.

"I'm the Doctor." the Doctor said.

"Doctor Who?" Medic asked.

"Yes, that title works as well, but I prefer just the "Doctor" part." the Doctor said. "Anyway, Lets get this door open, shall we?" the Doctor said. He went up to the dungeon entrance, and pulled out his favorite tool.

"What the hay is that?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Well, my little pink friend, this is a sonic screwdriver, capable of letting me manipulate the actions of any metal objects, and being that we're on a metal tank full of metal…" the Doctor said, using his screwdriver, moving it around the door. After about a minute, the door creaked, and started to open. The group cheered as they exited the dungeon. Heavy smashed the heads of two guards together, letting them get past.

"Well done, Doctor." Princess Celestia said.

"At your service, your majesty." the Doctor said, taking a slight bow.

"You are a very brave man, being the last of your kind." Celestia said. The Doctor was caught off guard by her knowledge.

"How do you know I'm the last of my kind?" he asked.

"The Great Time war is a legend among my family. My father and mother had taken place in it, helping your people, the time lords. We lost many of our forces in those days." Celestia said.

"I'm so sorry for your loss. But The Equestrians were indeed great warriors." the Doctor said.

"At least I know they gave their lives doing what's right. Now, we better get a move on." Celestia said.

"Right, of course!" the doctor said, getting back to his objective.

"Before they took us to the dungeons, they took our weapons and put them in an armaments area." Spy said, catching up to Sniper and Soldier.

"Do you remember the way?" Soldier asked him.

"Indeed, but we better hurry. When they find out we've broken free, it will not be pretty." Spy replied. Spy led the way, and the group had to take down a few robots on the way, but they got to the armaments, where they saw a vast array of their weapons. Soldeir took command at this.

"All right. Sniper, Scout, make sure you have your Jarate and Mad Milk, this will slow their gears down." Soldier told them, Sniper and Scout nodding. Sniper smiled as he took off his trophy belt, and found a team spirit Anger hat and the crocodile smile necklace, putting both on. Scout put found a cross-comm express, and put it on.

"Why do the robots keep this stuff?" Scout asked.

"Probably got it off the dead back in our world." Sniper said with a serious tone. Scout took the hat off and looked at it, wondering who it belonged to, how they died. He pushed the thought back and put it on, trying to ignore the fact that he was wearing the hat of a dead man.

"Engineer, you get a mini sentry, it's smaller, but faster ." Soldier ordered.

"how am I suppose to set it up while we're moving?" Engineer asked.

"Get a rope, and tie it onto me, I'll carry it." Applejack said, volunteering herself.

"Mighty big thanks to ya." Engineer said, smiling. Applejack nodded, smiling in return.

"Medic, you keep your medigun out at all times. Try to use your syringe gun as sparingly as possible." Soldier said.

"You got it," Medic replied. He dawned a Surgeons' Stahlhelm and Physicians' Procedure Mask.

"Pyro, You… just do your thing." Soldier told Pyro jumped with joy at hearing this. Pyro turned around where no one could see his face, and quickly put on a Last Breath mask.

"Mmmph mmph!" he said, doing his taunt with the backburner.

"Everyone else, do as normal. Time to kick some robot tin ass." Soldier said, putting on a Soldier's Stash helmet, and loading his Liberty launcher. "For now, we move quickly and quietly. Conserve your ammo, we don't have time to build a dispenser. Let's go." he said right after. The group got what they needed and left the armaments, and started to try to find their way to the power room. The Doctor and Amy followed behind them.

"Doctor, how do you know we can trust them?" Amy asked.

"Oh, I have no idea, but that makes it even more exciting." the Doctor said with enthusiasm. Amy just gave him a look, which the doctor simply smiled at. "Oh, come on Amy, as long as we let them fight and we don't have to fight anyone, it will be alright" he said, reassuring her. The group stopped at a corner, and princess Celestia got Soldier's attention.

"Soldier, I hate to ruin your good plan, but I could just teleport us to the power room, I could find it," Celestia said.

"I know, I thought about that. But we can't go in their when it's full of enemies. We need a distraction outside, and if we teleported near the room, they could hear us an all of it goes to shit." Soldier said. Celestia nodded, understanding this. Sniper checked around the corner.

"All clear. But I'll move up myself just incase. I'll give you blokes the all clear when I'm sure." he said. He put an arrow on his huntsman, and slowly turned around the corner. Applejack stopped Sniper before he got too far.

"I'll go with you. There could be some robot hiding in the shadows, I could watch your back." she said.

"Well, that's your choice, just keep quiet. What about that sentry, could it go off?" Sniper asked.

"Nah, Engie has the wrangler." Applejack said. Sniper nodded. The two slowly walked down the hallway, watching every door, every shadow. They got to the end, and didn't see anything. Sniper turned around, giving the O.K. the others started to come towards Sniper and Applejack, until Applejack told them to stop. She got Snipers attention and point towards the same hallway. Sniper peeked around the corner and saw a squadron of heavy bots with miniguns. Sniper immediately made the motion for the others to go back, and they had just in time. Sniper and Applejack hid together behind one of the large steel columns' shadows.

"Oh, that doesn't look to good." the Doctor said. "More of those robots."

"Too many of them for us to take." Engineer said. Pyro was holding back his want to get revenge on the robots for imprisoning his friends. Soldier kept his eyes on the shadow Applejack and Sniper were hiding behind. The heavies were almost gone, until the voice they all hated was heard over a speaker.

"the prisoners have broke free! Capture them and bring them to me, alive!" Ghost Mare's voice was heard saying.

"Who is that?" Amy asked.

"Trouble." Scout responded. The heavy bots came back out, looking around. One walked by the column that Applejack and Sniper were hiding behind, then stopped. Sniper breathing was Silent, something he had been able to do for years, but he could tell Applejack was nervous. She was trying her best to breath silently, looking at Sniper. Sniper put a finger over his mouth, and covered Applejacks mouth to help quiet her breathing. The heavy turned its head toward the column, and stared at it, unknowingly staring dead into the eyes of Sniper and Applejack. The Heavy was then turned away by a different one.

"Move gear forward!" another robot heavy ordered. The other Heavy nodded, and followed the group, leaving. Sniper uncovered Applejack's mouth, and both sighed a sigh of relief.

"Move up." Soldier said. The group caught up to where Sniper and Applejack were, and the moved down the hallway.

"That was too close." the Doctor said.

"You're telling me." Sniper replied. The group stopped at one door.

"Okay, if my memory is right, one of the maps I saw says this will lead to the main control room." Soldier said. On three, the group opened the door, and ran in quietly, but stopped dead in their tracks. In the room were possibly hundreds of robots, who were deactivated.

"Stay dead silent." Soldier whispered. They snuck through most of the room, seeing many robotic versions of RED, only they were gray colors instead of red or blue. The were almost home free when Amy accidentally bumped into a Sniper bot. It activated, and looked Amy in the eyes.

"Crikey!" it yelled. This activated the other robots, and they all turned towards the group.

"Holy dooly…" Sniper said. Soldier lifted his helmet up to get a full view. He scowled.

"Shit."

"your face is frozen, and you seem to prefer stone objects. You're not of this world." The doctor said, staring Ghost mare in the eyes.

"What makes you say that?" Ghost mare asked

"I can tell what you are when I see one. You're an old enemy of mine, not of them. But how have you mostly broken free? That's the question." the Doctor said.

"YOU KNOW NOTHING OF ME!" Ghost Mare said angrily. The Doctor stood firm, and kept his serious tone.

"Oh really? You seem to be pretty mad, like one would be if they were froze before they could get a hold on an enemy. No one expects a beauty to attack, but when you're seen, you freeze. And all you can do is weep.

"Nothing but a Weeping Angel."

Chapter 14: The One That Weeps

Scout double jumped to get on top of a robot heavy's back, blasting it with his force-a-nature, jumping off as the body fell, blasting at another one. Sniper had taken out more of the bots with his huntsman, luckily finding a stash of arrows in an armament. He didn't hear the spook that uncloaked behind him. The robot spy got his butterfly knife ready, chuckling. But before he could stab Sniper, Rainbow Dash flew into him, tackling him and destroying the bot. Sniper turned around and saw it, nodding in thanks to Dash. Dash flew back off to get scout.

"We've got to get out of here and fast!" Engineer said, taking out robots one at a time with his frontier justice.

" If I'm right, I think I've found a door! It's security locked though, so I'll have to crack it with my screwdriver. Cover me, would you?" The doctor informed, puling out his Sonic screwdriver and starting his work. Engineer and Amy guarded him while he did his work. Medic and Demoman came back, Medic healing their wounds.

"There be too bloody many of them for us!" Demoman said, launching some more of his bombs at a group of soldier bots.

Soldier was reloading his black box when a scout tried to hit him in on the head with it's bat. Soldier grabbed the bat, ripping it out of the scout bots' hand. Soldier then flipped the Scout over his shoulder, slamming it into the ground, and pumped it full of lead with his shotgun. He then dodged a punch from a heavy bot that was wearing boxing gloves, turning around as he did so, filling it's head with lead. He then saw an SMG that a robot sniper had dropped, so he grabbed it and started firing at the bots with both the SMG and his shotgun.

"Almost there…" The doctor announced, moving his sonic screwdriver in a circular motion across the door. Twilight had jumped back to the group, blasting a soldier bot with her magic.

"We've got to get out of here!" she said, repeating Engineers words.

"The Doctor here is working on it." Engineer said, covering him. They could her the blasts from Pinkie Pies party canon blasting multiple bots. Spy re-appeared beside engineer, sounding out of breath.

"The robots are coming faster than I can sap them…" Spy said, breathing hard.

"Got it!" The Doctor said. The door creaked open, and the others re-joined the group, keeping fire on the robots as they did. When the last one stepped out, The Doctor went over a control panel and the door began to close again. Heavy let out a bellowing yell as he unloaded another round of bullets from his minigun, keeping the robots from coming through the door until it closed.

"Damn it, those robots can't do a single thing!" Shadow Stallion yelled in anger. Ghost mare stood beside him.

"Do not worry, they are earthly things, they were not expected to succeed." Ghost mare said. She wished that they had worked, but she knew better.

"Why can't you turn them into their monster selves and let them kill each other?" Shadow Stallion asked.

"Because, the amount of magic that it takes to bring one's inner demons is almost too strong for me. It drains me of almost all my magic, and I have to rest. Discord was the only being that could do it with ease, and we both know what has happened to him." Ghost Mare explained.

"Is there anything else we can do?" Shadow Stallion asked, keeping his blood red eyes plastered onto the set of security cameras showing that the group was getting closer to their location.

"Well, I remember an old legend about a mythical monster that could bring creatures to their knees with the sound of their singing…" Ghost mare pondered.

"Consider it Done." Shadow stallion said. His eyes began to emit a bright red glow, dark tentacles coming out of his shadow black mane, and went into the hallways.

Things had been unusually quiet as the group went down the hallways.

"Are you sure we're going the right way?" Rarity asked Soldier, who was leading the group.

"Positive." he simply replied.

"Well, all these hallways, they do look alike." Amy said.

"Now now Amy, I really think it's not very reasonable to question a man that wears a very unusual army helmet that covers the eyes." The Doctor said.

"You've got a smart friend miss." Soldier said, not turning back to look. They kept going until Scout stopped.

"You guys hear something?" he asked. The others looked around, and slowly, they all began to hear the tender singing voices of three young women.

"On the floating, shapeless oceans,

I did all my best to smile till your singing eyes and fingers drew

me loving into your eyes."

Demoman looked around. "Sounds like someone be stepping on a cat."

"And you sang

"Sail to me, sail to me;

Let me enfold you."" The three voices continued.

"Sounds like someone be stepping on a lot of cats…" Demoman said, a disgusted look coming across his face as he heard the song. He then noticed the others had stopped moving.

"Oi, what be wrong with the lot of ye?" He asked. He got in front of Scout, and saw the green and yellow spinning tunnels in his eyes. He noticed this in the others, even in the princesses.

"Awe, don't tell me you're bumbling aboot because of that wretched noise!" He bellowed. The others had merely ignored him, caught in the trance of the song. The men and ponies started following the sound to find it's origin.

"If this be a trick, ye be all fools." Demoman mumbled, following behind.

"Here I am, here I am waiting to hold, I dream you dreamed about me? Were you here when I was full sail?" The voices echoed in the hallways. They kept going until they came into a room. On top of a walkway, Demoman saw three women, all pony, human crossbreeds, standing there.

Demoman figured they were the ones making all the racket. All three girls had bodies of a human female, but they had some of the features of a pony. One had a horn, another had wings. The third had both, obviously being the leader. The others, all except for Demoman, lined up side by side, some practically drooling over their voices.

"Now my foolish boat is leaning, broken love lost on your you sang,

"Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow."

Oh my heart, oh my heart shies from the sorrow. I'm as puzzled as a newborn child.

I'm as riddled as the I stand amid the breakers?

Or shall I lie with death my bride?" The three women continued. Demoman had covered his ears, and he figured that he had enough of this racket.

"Oi! You skinny as a twig twits up there!" He called out in anger. The three women looked at him surprised.

"Are you not enchanted by our song?" The one with just a horn asked.

"Are Ye kidding? That rackus is what ye call a song? Ya sound like dying pigs! Hell, I've heard dying pigs sing better than you inbred misfits!" Demoman insulted. The three women were angered by this.

"If you are not enchanted by our hymns, you shall face death by them…" The alicorn one said, pointing to RED, the ponies, the Doctor and Amy. They turned around and started to slowly walk towards Demoman, almost like zombies. Demoman pulled out his Eyelander.

"Aye, I don't want to hurt any of ye, but this bloody music has turned ye to mush!" He bellowed. It was that very same second an idea had hit him. He looked up at the three women.

"So it's music ye want, eh? I'LL GIVE YA BLOODY MUSIC YA NO GOOD HALF WITTED MINI SKIRT WEARIN' CROSSBREDED SHADOWY FILLED TWIGGY BLEUGHTENHAUGN NO TUNED MUTANTS!" Demoman yelled. He reached into his clothing, and after some digging pulled out a bagpipe. He smiled.

"Where did you have that…" The winged one asked, angered by his insult, as were the other two.

"I Don't think ye want to know lassie." Demoman replied with a grin. He took a deep breath of air and blew into the instruments' blowpipe, playing "Scotland the Brave" immensely loud. The group had covered their ears at the sound of the traditional Scottish music. Demoman looked up and saw that the three women were covering their ears also, but still singing, trying to raise their voice over the bagpipes. Demoman chuckled inwardly.

"You sorry sods are going to have to do better than that!" He taunted. He was not even playing at full blast, but Demoman took in another breath of air and played as loud as he could. The noise was so loud no one could hear the siren's singing, and the others started to snap out of the trance.

"Yo, eye patch, FUCKIN' STOP THE NOISE!" Scout yelled, covering his ears. Demoman smiled as he finished the tune. He dried the blowpipe and put the instrument back under his clothing.

"I thought we got rid of that blasted thing…" Soldier said, his head still rambling from the music.

"Did ye really think you could take the pipes of ol' grandpappy DeGroot away from me?" Demoman mockingly asked, laughing. He then looked up at the sirens, who hissed and turned into raven like creatures, their faces still seen. They lunged at the grouped, aiming their talons, but Sniper put an arrow into each of their heads in one go. The bodies dissipated into a black smoke, and they started to fly back to their creator.

"Follow it!" Demoman declared, and the group started chasing it. It was fast, but Scout and Rainbow Dash could keep up with it, the group following their direction. When they saw it slip under a door, they could hear the voices of Shadow Stallion and Ghost Mare behind it, along with the sound of machinery.

"Well, It looks like this plan of your had not worked either." Shadow Stallion said, un-amused.

"WELL IF THAT DAMN DEMOMAN WASN'T TONE DEAF IT WOULD'VE WORKED!" they heard Ghost mare return in anger.

The group had followed to where they saw the shadows go under the door, and the could hear the Ghost's Shadow on the other side.

"That's them." Engineer said.

"Right, I'll open the door." the Doctor said, preparing his sonic screwdriver. Sniper stopped him.

"With all due respect Doc, it's probably best to let us open it our way." Sniper said. The Doctor understood and backed away to where the Amy and the others were.

"Well, we're about to be part of a big battle." The Doctor said.

"Again…" Amy muttered.

"I know, quite fun, isn't it?" The Doctor jokingly asked.

"Ready to charge!" Medic announced, aiming his medigun at Heavy.

"Spy, when we blow the door, you cloak immediately and get behind them. Disguise as one of the minions if you can." Soldier said.

"Not a problem." Spy said, cloaking.

"Everyone else, raise hell. Look for the blueprints." Soldier ordered. Everyone nodded, lining up against the wall. Demoman put his set of sticky bombs on the door, and lined up again.

"Are you sure this will blow the door open?" Engineer asked soldier.

"Only one way to find out." Soldier muttered. "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" he bellowed.

"HUDDA HUDDA MMPH!" Pyro yelled. Demoman noded and activated the bombs, causing a large explosion. Metal went flying both ways, outside the room and in. The group charged in, the ponies and the Doctor and Amy following. Sniper took down two soldier bots with his arrows.

"Charge now Doctor!" Heavy yelled, revving is minigun.

"Ja! Oktoberfest!" Medic exclaimed, flipping the switch. They could feel the much welcomed energy flow through their veins, Heavy laughing as he mowed down robots with Sascha, the robot's weapons having no effect on them.

"There they go!" Dash yelled, flying after Ghost Mare and Shadow Stallion, who tried to escape. Ghost Mare dodged Dash's attempt to tackle her, but she did get Shadow Stallion.

"Gotcha!" Dash exclaimed. Shadow Stallion smirked, which was unseen to her since his facial features except his eyes were as black as his flowing shadow colored coat.

"Don't be to sure!" He mocked. He then began to sink into the ground, which made Dash's jaw drop. She then saw Shadow Stallion come back up beside Ghost Mare.

"Hey! No fair!" she exclaimed, chasing after them again. Applejack bucked another sniper bot in the chest, crushing it.

"Crikey!" the bot let out before falling over and disabling.

"Y'all aught to know not to mess with a country girl!" she exclaimed, going to where Engineer was to help him.

The Doctor had used his Sonic Screwdriver to fry the circuits of the bots that tried to attack him and Amy, Amy even taking some down. The Doctor then saw the multicolored streak that was rainbow dash, chasing after a white and black mist that was just as fast.

The Doctor waited for the right moment, then jumped onto the white and black blur as they passed. The Doctor held on to the coat of the Black one, both of them looking at him

"Who is he?!" Shadow Stallion hissed. Ghost Mare's expression didn't change, but if they could, her reaction would be in shock. The Doctor recognized this and had the surprised look for both of them

"YOU!" She exclaimed.

"You." The Doctor repeated in a calmer tone.

"You will not claim me!" Ghost Mare yelled. Both her and Shadow Stallion suddenly jolted to a stop, Sending the Doctor flying off. He landed on the floor but got up just as quickly. RED and the ponies had taken care of the bots, and now it was just them and the Ghost's Shadow. Ghost Mare and Shadow Stallion stood together, RED and the Girls standing in a line ready to continue the battle, the Doctor standing in front of them.

"I now know who you are." The Doctor said with the serious tone that he had, one that could chill the bones of any creature.

"Your face is frozen, much like any stone object. You're not of this world." The Doctor said, staring Ghost Mare in the eyes.

"What makes you believe that?" Ghost Mare hissed.

"I can tell what you are when I see one. You're an old enemy of mine, not of them. But how have you mostly broken free? That's the question." the Doctor said, a sly look on his face.

"YOU KNOW NOTHING OF ME!" Ghost Mare angrily yelled. The Doctor stood firm, and kept his serious tone.

"Oh really? You seem to be pretty mad, like one would be if they were froze before they could get a hold on an enemy. No one expects a beauty to attack, but when you're seen, you freeze. And all you can do is weep."

"Nothing but a Weeping Angel."

Ghost Mare became enraged and yelled, and began to morph. The others looked in amazement and shock. They could see all the body part melting and mashing together to make the form of a stone grey women, dressed in ancient robes like the Greeks would have worn, and it sprouted large wings. This all happened while Ghost Mares face did not change expression. When the morph had finished, they could see before them a statue of a Weeping Angel, all of her body parts capable of moving with the exception of her face.

"How have you broken free of your kinds' genetics?" The Doctor asked.

"Because I had freed her." Shadow Stallion said. The Doctor looked at Ghost Mare.

"It is true. He broke me free of the curse, but he could not heal my face or else I would lose all of the abilities of the Weeping Angels." Ghost Mare explained.

"But you will not live to see me in this state long." Ghost Mare then said, Charging at the Doctor. He dodged the charge, scout ducking to dodge it as well. Ghost Mare flew into the wall, but quickly regained. Soldier fired his Black box at her, but The Rockets had no effect.

"Lead materials can't destroy a Weeping Angel!" The doctor proclaimed, looking for something while the others dodged attacks from Ghost Mare's claws.

"The only way to stop and Angel is for two or more angels to make eye contact with each other, making them quantum lock forever!" He explained. He was pondering on a way to stop her when he noticed some glass on the floor. He picked up one that was large enough to see his head in full view. He smiled at the reflection, the idea giving him.

"Just like Medusa!" He chanted, repeating it as he ran back to the group.

"Has he gone mad?!" Twilight asked, dodging another swipe of Ghost Mare's claws as they heard the doctor running.

"Just like Medusa! Just like Medusa! Just…like…Medusa!" The Doctor chanted. When he came close enough to Ghost Mare, he grabbed a Rock and threw it at her head, hitting it dead on. Ghost Mare turned around, but instead of seeing the Doctor, She saw her own reflection in the glass the Doctor was holding.

"NO!" Ghost Mare yelled in pain. She continued yelling as she felt her body slowly freezing. She started charging towards the Doctor, who was now waving at her as he held the mirror. Just as one of Ghost Mare's claws barely touched the Doctor's garments, she froze completely, the look of horror still plastered on her stone face. The Doctor looked from behind the mirror to see that his plan had worked.

"Yes! Just like Medusa!" The Doctor exclaimed. "Someone get me a rope!" he then ordered. Medic found one and gave it to him, and the doctor proceeded to tie the Glass to Ghost Mare's frozen face, entrapping her in quantum lock.

"This can help also." Twilight said. Her horn started glowing, and a purple shield appeared around the glass, not allowing anything to touch it so it wouldn't break. Shadow Stallion laughed at the view of this.

"You truly are worthy opponents for my master." Shadow Stallion said, laughing. Two large tentacles then shot out of his body towards the frozen Ghost Mare and wrapped around the statue, squeezing immediately and crushing it to dust. This caught the whole group off guard.

"Wasn't she your bloody sister?!" Sniper asked in a shocked state.

"She was merely a tool for the ultimate plan." Shadow stallion said, his evil grin hidden by the darkness. "You see, I saw what true power was long ago from my master. He is the one that gave me this coat, the powers…" Shadow Stallion explained.

"I freed Ghost Mare, wiping her mind of everything except for the fact that she was a weeping angel. I told her she was my sister. I, of course, was in a human like form then. I had you focus on her so I could work on my masters' plan. You see, he has set up his own "game" where he hunts worthy opponents. A fine sport if I do say so myself." the grin on Shadow Stallion's face only grew bigger.

"You're mad!" Spy exclaimed. Shadow Stallion laughed.

"Maybe you should tell that to my master." Large tentacles then came out of Shadow stallions body, and they made a large circle behind Shadow Stallion. A black mist started to fill within the circle. A Cold shiver went down everyone's spin, and the sound of voices whispering quietly filled the room.

"This is of evil sorcery…" Princess Celestia said. Her eyes widened as they saw a tall figure start to step through the portal. He reached one hand out of the portal before stepping through. The creatures ghost white featureless face slowly reared it's head around, observing the room. It then stopped as it was facing the Doctor. A dark whisper then filled everyone's ears.

"DoCtOr…." The Doctor's eyes widened, then recognizing the figure. It was one he did not know much about. This is what scared the Doctor about him.

"My master arises, You shall all fall before the lord of darkness, The Slenderman," Shadow Stallion's dark voice echoed in the room. Soldier reacted by firing his Black Box, but Slenderman caught the rockets in his tentacles, not moving his head back. The suited Demon then threw the rockets aside like toys, and slowly started floating towards the group. Celestia and Luna tried to create a spell to blast Slenderman back, but they couldn't summon it up.

"Sister, my magic is not working!" Luna exclaimed.

"Neither is mine." Celestia said, shocked. She could feel the cold air of death surrounding her as Slenderman got closer, his tentacles reaching out like snakes trying to inject their venom into it's prey. Then multiple tentacles immediately shot out from Slenderman's body, chasing after the group. The Doctor tried his sonic screwdriver, but to no avail. Demoman cut one tentacle with his eyelander, but two more grew in it's place, grabbing him and restraining his arms and legs. Dash was speeding around the room, but the tentacles had multiplied, surrounding Rainbow in a cage like form.

Applejack bucked one tentacle away, but another grabbed her front legs, tripping her. It then wrapped around all her hooves. The group continued fighting, one by one, until they were inevitably caught. Sniper struggled to break free. He could just pull his arms out, but he couldn't get his lower body free to jump out.

"Now, you RED felons shall pay the price for trying to challenge Slenderman." Shadow Stallion said. He pressed a button with one of his tentacles, and a door slid open, revealing the teleporter that RED were hoping to use, completely functional. They could see Teufort, the sun shining brightly on the two buildings.

"Planet Earth, as you know it, shall be destroyed by the creations of my master." Shadow Stallion evilly said.

Twilight knew she couldn't break out of the snake like coiled that held her, but she could see the others struggling to break free. Pinkie pie couldn't escape, Fluttershy was crying, Heavy looked like he was bout to throw up the 6 sandwiches he found in a kitchen they had passed through on the way here, And Rainbow dash was flying as fast as she could inside the small cage that held her. She looked over and Saw Sniper, his arms free, trying to figure out what to do.

Sniper thought for a few moments, trying to figure out something. They had come this far, they couldn't give up now!

"We'll find a way out of this!" Sniper yelled. Slenderman tilted his head, looking in his direction. Shadow Stallion laughed.

"Funny. The very portal you fought to create is and will be the one we need to destroy your home world." Shadow stallion said. Sniper looked over the Teleporter, and saw what he thought was an open spot in the metal mainframe, No bigger then the arrowhead he had on his arrows. As the tentacle swung across the room, he saw it going towards his huntsman, which he had dropped.

Sniper reached for it, and was just able to grab it. He then struggled to pull an arrow out of his quiver. Slenderman's grip was tight, so he reached down to the bottom, where the front tip of the arrow where the arrowhead was. He bit his lip as he cut his hand pulling the arrow out. He set up the huntsman and took aim.

"Yeah, funny indeed, because no one is using it." Sniper said. The others looked at him.

"Sniper, you don't mean you're going to…" Engineer started, trailing off.

"I'm sorry mates. If the portal stays open, this thing will destroy our world. We have to find a different way." Sniper replied. He released the arrow, it going straight into his target.

"What have you done?!" Shadow Stallion exclaimed in shock. The arrow had cut into the portal's mainframe, and it started sparking. Electricity started shooting out, sparking everywhere. One of the lightning bolts struck Shadow Stallion, who started to yell in pain, his voice becoming distorted. He released a blood curdling scream that would even make the devil shudder, and disintegrated. Slenderman held his head, a loud screech being let out. He lost his grip on everyone, them all dropping to the floor.

"Get out, this place is gonna blow!" Soldier bellowed. The group ran out of the room as warning signals started beeping immensely as the portal device started to explode. Slenderman hissed and Wrapped himself in his tentacles, disappearing. The group ran as fast as they could back to the entry point they first came in at.

The portal device then let out a small blue spark that collapsed on itself, then let out a huge explosion, enveloping everything into flames. RED, the Doctor, Amy, and the ponies ran for their lives as they came to the exit, jumping out. They all covered their heads as the tank exploded, deactivating. After the chaos had ended, The group looked up. They then heard the whisper of Slenderman again.

"Do NoT CeLeBrAte, FoR I sHaLl ReTuRn…" Slenderman hissed, thunder clapped, then all was silent. The sun began to shine through the dark clouds as they disappeared, obviously controlled on their own under Slenderman's power. Everyone sighed a sigh of relief, Scout falling on his back, worn out. Sniper sat on a piece of broken metal, staring at the tank. The Doctor came up beside him.

"Listen, what you did, I saw the look in your eyes. You tried to think of every other way, but saw the inevitable. You took the choice, knowing that a entire races safety was more important that you returning home. It takes a very strong man to achieve that." The Doctor Said to Sniper.

"I don't like that I had to make the choice, but it's done. I did what was right." Sniper said, now tending to his bloody hand. The Doctor patted him on the back, then got up.

"Well, You are all very brave men and ponies, I wish I could stay, but I'm afraid that our time here has been extended to long." The Doctor said. He pressed a button on his Sonic Screwdriver, and the TARDIS started to appear behind them.

"What should we do about this "Slenderman"?" Princess Celestia had asked. The doctor smiled.

"You have the powers to defeat him, the elements of harmony, am I right? And with RED, they shall be vital in the success. This Slenderman can be defeated, but to do that, you must break the silence." The Doctor said. He and Amy went into the TARDIS, and it started fading away.

"What do you mean, "Break the silence"?" Luna called out. But the TARDIS was already fading away, but just before it did, it stopped and the Doctor opened the door.

"By the way, tell your sniper friend that his camper van is around the other side of the tank. I found it in the field with cows and figured you guys could use it." The doctor said with a smile. He then closed the door and the TARDIS disappeared. The group looked around at each other, and Engineer sighed.

"I guess we are back at step one…" Engineer groaned.

A number of mysterious things had been happening since RED had disappeared. The BLU's had been deemed victorious, but multiple sights were they had fought began to shut down. BLU Spy had asked the administrator why this was happening, but she wouldn't tell him a word. When they were not under surveillance from cameras, the members of BLU would try to gather information about how red disappeared. So far, they knew that it was because of RED Engineer's invention that they were gone, and it was Spy's fault.

The group had been sitting around the locker room, until Soldier had an idea.

"I bet one guy could help us…"

Looking through his books, the wizard Merasmus was trying to coagulate a new spell, but his studies were interrupted by a loud banging on a door, and he heard the yelling voice of the man he despised.

"MERASMUS! GET YOU ASS OUT OF THAT SPELL BOOK! WE NEED YOUR HELP!" Soldier bellowed.

"Go away RED Soldier! You know you are welcomed here no longer!" Merasmus bellowed in return.

"Hey, we aren't those REDs, we're the BLUs!" soldier yelled. After a few seconds and the sounds of multiple locks unlocking, the door opened, revealing Merasmus.

"My mistake, do come in." Merasmus said. The BLUs walked in and sat down in some chairs that Merasmus had around.

"We need your help." Spy said.

"I can sense that your counterparts are missing." Merasmus stated, getting nods from the BLU team.

"Ja, and we were wondering if you could help us locate zhem." Medic asked. Merasmus rubbed his chin at this.

"Why should I help you find them, so you can begin fighting on my property again?" Merasmus said.

"of course not," Engineer said, holding his hand up, "we need them back because Mann Co. is shutting down. And If I'm correct, you own some possessions of theirs that are vital to your studies, and if they shut down they will take everything back." Engineer stated, finishing. Merasmus took this into account, he knew this was true. After a few minutes of consideration, Merasmus agreed to find where RED were.

The group gathered around a table that had a Crystal ball where Merasmus sat, and he wave his hands over it, a green mist falling from them and into the ball.

"I see many things, the REDs are very much alive, but are in a very strange land, filled with many creatures that are… multicolored?"

Chapter 15: Well, This is Awkward.

A couple of Days had passed since the battle in the tank. The princess had been visiting Ponyville more constantly, keeping in touch with the ponies and RED. Celestia and Luna would normally rotate visits, but sometimes they visited at the same time.

Engineer, Applejack, and Twilight were eating some vegetable sandwiches, and they saw Sniper a few yards away, walking by himself. He looked angered and was grumbling.

"Your friend Sniper sure has been mighty quiet ever since that fight on the tank." Applejack commented before taking another bite of her sandwich.

"I don't really blame the fella. He got to see our home world, and he knew that this "Slenderman" couldn't have gotten through, so he destroyed what could be our only way home." Engineer said.

"Well, can't you make another one with the blueprints?" Twilight asked.

"Nope," Engineer replied. "The plans, I saw them in that room the teleporter was in. No one grabbed it, and it was more than likely destroyed in the explosion." He sighed and took another bite out of his sandwich.

"Well, maybe someone should talk to him?" Twilight suggested. Engineer gave a nervous chuckle.

"Now, That'd be a mighty fine idea, but this is Sniper we're talkin' about. If he's pissed off about something, everyone on our team knows not to mess with him." Engineer said.

"So where was Spy today?" Applejack asked.

"You tell me. The old spook keeps disappearing and reappearing where ever he pleases." Engineer chuckled.

Sniper had his Huntsman slung over his shoulder, a new load of arrows in his quiver. He figured that if he decided to go hunting to let off some steam, he would.

He wasn't mad at anyone else, just at himself. He knew it was more than likely the right thing to destroy the portal, but still. He didn't think to grab the plans so they could make another one, he risked the lives of not only his team mates, but the lives of six ponies and two princesses, and, after figuring out that the calendar dates were the same as the ones in his world, he figured out today was his birthday.

Sniper hated his birthday.

It was one of the very few days that he hated, give or take a few. But his birthday was not one of his favorites.

His birthday was the day that he left for the outback, only at 14. His parents had gotten into a fight, and he heard the whole argument from his bedroom.

"Well I can't believe that you would do that!" his mothers voice ringed in his ear.

"If I didn't, they would have taken us out of house and home!" His father retorted.

"But You're leaving us, basically for the rest of your life! How can you trust this "Builders league united anyhow?!" His mother hollered.

"IT WAS EITHER THAT JOB OR US DYING!" his father screamed in anger.

"WE COULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY!" his mother screamed in return.

"NO, WE COULDN'T! WHY ARE YOU SO FUCKING BLIND THAT YOU CAN'T SEE THAT?!" his father yelled.

The voices rang in Snipers head for about 5 minutes, until that last sentence he remembered ran through his head.

"FINE, IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE HERE, WE ARE THROUGH! AND I'M TAKING MY SON WITH ME!" his father yelled.

Sniper remembered hearing that from outside his house, just as he was sprinting away. Sniper kept walking until he came to a bridge that crossed a small river. He stopped and leaned on the railing, pulling out one of his arrows and observing it's sharpness.

"That time again?" the voice of spy asked, appearing behind Sniper. Normally, Sniper would immediately spin to his right, pulling out his kukri to stab a blue spy. But he knew this was his ally RED Spy, and he didn't care to turn either way.

"You've been keeping up with the calendar as well?" Sniper asked. Spy walked up beside him, leaning on the rail as well.

"Well, someone has to, do they not?" he asked. Sniper kept observing his arrow. Spy sighed.

"Comrade, I know how much you hate this day, but that was in the past. Don't you think you should try to take a new look on it?" Spy asked.

"Mate, all I see it as is the day my family broke apart.: Sniper replied. The two got up and looked at each other.

"Well, if you do need anything, I will be here for you." Spy said. He then gave Sniper a friendly hug, Sniper returning it for a second.

"Thanks Mate." Sniper replied. Spy started to walk off, but then looked back at Sniper.

"No worries mate!" He said, using his mock Australian accent. He then cloaked, and Sniper couldn't help but crack a little smile.

"So what you're saying is that RED were transported to another dimension, one filled with multicolored ponies, and they've been fighting some weird alien like thing?" BLU Scout asked. Merasmus nodded, crossing his arms. After what seemed like a few minutes, Scout shrugged.

"I've heard crazier." he replied.

"So how do we get them back?" BLU Sniper questioned.

"Well, As far as I know to my knowledge, you would have to travel to that world." Merasmus explained.

"And you can teleport us, right?" BLU Engineer asked.

"Actually, the powers of one-dimensional teleportation is not currently within my grasp, but I think I may know someone who can. Let me give her a call." Merasmus said. He opened his book of spells, and chanted one of the lines, and after a flash of lightning, a woman with tan skin appeared. Her hair is blue and styled like Jessie's(from Pokemon). . She had on a tan T-shirt with a blue jean jacket and tannish blue jeans..

"Meet Ginger boys." Merasmus said.

"This wasn't a good time, I was helping Toby and Rafael…" Ginger sternly said.

"Do not worry woman, I have frozen their time, when you return, it will resume as normal." Merasmus said. "Besides, when I help you that one time, you said to call when you could repay, here is your chance." He then said

"Who are these people?" Ginger asked when seeing BLU.

"These are the BLU mercenaries, the ones I told you about." Merasmus said. Ginger nodded.

"Oh, I see. So what do you need from me?" Ginger asked.

"We need someone with a kind of magical power to take us to a world our RED counterparts are in." Blue Engineer explained.

"Merasmus, are you sure about this?" Ginger asked him.

"You are the only one I know that can teleport through dimensions, and Blue are reckless, yet trustworthy." Merasmus said. Ginger sighed.

"Alright. Gather around." she said. Her eyes started to glow as BLU stood around her, and a light started to appear on her chest, and three triangles making a triangle, along with a lightning bolt running through it formed, the BLU said nothing, but were watching in awe. That was thing surrounded by the image of what BLU Engineer thought looked like an old clan logo for a cat.

The image then grew brighter, forcing BLU to cover their eyes. Their was then a flash, and Merasmus saw that they were gone.

"I only hope they hurry, time is of the essence.." Merasmus grimly said, looking out the window, sensing a dark force was near.

BLU Spy was the first of his men to wake up. He could see Ginger, who had now changed form, looking over the group. She was now an alicorn, and was orange with a mane and tail that look like they were on fire. On her neck she had patches of fire that reminded Spy of a Typhlosions fire from Pokemon. Her cutie mark was the same as the emblem that was formed in the light on her chest from before they teleported.

"Are you alright?" Ginger asked.

I think so, but I see you have changed appearances." BLU Spy said.

"Well, It appears I'm not the only one who has." Ginger said, casting a spell that made a mirror. BLU Spy saw that he had turned into a Pegasus, his coat bearing the colors of his suit. He was thankful that he still had his mask on, it forming to the shape of his now stallion head. He saw that his cutie mark was a picture of a butterfly knife surrounded by the mist that would surrounded Spy as he disguised himself.

"Well, this is getting awkward." BLU Spy said.

"I guess it is, my spell must have transformed us so we do not look like aliens from another world." Ginger explained. Spy couldn't think of anything better, so he agreed with her. He and Ginger looked at the others as they woke up.

Scout still had his regular hat on, but was now a Pegasus, his coat being blue, his mane black. His cutie mark was to bats over each other in a crossbones style with a cam of Bonk! In the middle of them.

Soldier had turned into an Earth pony. He still had his helmet, his coat blue, though he still had the blue coat he normally wore in their world. He also had the strap his grenades were on, but his flank and back legs were revealed. His cutie mark was a Rocket with the U.S. flag in the background.

Sniper had turned into a Pegasus and still had all of his clothing, except for his pants. His coat was a blue, his mane and tail Brown, the same color as his hair. His cutie mark was a Sniper scope's crosshairs aiming at a figures head.

Heavy was very noticeably larger than the others, his coat being, you guessed it, blue. He still had his vest, along with the line of bullets that went across his upper body. He was now an Earth Pony, his cutie mark being the hammer and sickle with Heavy's sandvich in the background.

Pyro still had the suit and mask on, so they couldn't tell anything about him. Or her. Or whatever the hell Pyro is. The only thing they could tell was that Pyro was a unicorn, and the cutie mark was a fire.

Medic's coat was blue, but he still had his white trench coat on. He still had his glasses as well, he mane and tail black. His cutie mark was a dove perching on top of his ubersaw. He was a unicorn as well.

Demoman still had had had his clothing, all except for his pants. He still had his eye patch, which he was thankful for. He was a Earth Pony, his cutie mark being a bottle of scrumpy with an explosion in the background.

Engineer now only had his helmet and goggles from his original clothing, his coat was blue, and his mane and tail was actually a blonde color. His cutie mark was a wrench with a Sentry firing in the background.

"aw, hell." BLU Engineer said as they saw themselves in the magical mirror. Ginger couldn't help but chuckle.

"We better get moving and find your friends." she said, leading the group. The BLUs tripped over themselves for a while, but after some time they were able to walk on all four hooves. Thus began their Search for RED, but they had no idea what exactly they were getting themselves into.
