Chapter 36: A New Ally P1

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon or MLP: FIM. I do own Takuma and Goldmon as well as Pumpkin Spice, Christmas Gift, and Harvest Leaf from Equestia, whom may show up in certain chapter.

Everything seemed to have happened so fast. One moment Takuma, Rika, Takato, and Henry alongside their Digimon were fighting against Merukimon whom easily handled them despite their best efforts with Quadruple Joint Attack. Now everyone of the tamers including Kento, and Kazu and the Tamers' Digimon were now looking directly at the famous Sun Goddess herself. Takuma took the longest time to look directly at the one that served to protect the Digital World. The Sun Goddess's eyes seemed to quell down any anger Takuma had. Now that Sailor Sun had shown up alongside Marcus Daimon the Tamers all look at the Sun Goddess.

Takato was the one that spoke first bowing to her then looked around as if expecting an attack from the Devas but he spoke to Sailor Sun "You're majesty-"

Marcus chuckled at Takato's choice of words turning to a blushing Sailor Sun nudging her playfully in the arm "That's a new one for you."

"I suppose" Sailor Sun said still blushing at having been addressed like that then she smiled at Takato "Please you don't have to be so formal by addressing me like that, you may call me Sailor Sun or Sun Goddess."

"Of course Sun Goddess ma'am" Takato said to her.

Takato took a deep calm breathe to calm himself, this would be the very first person other than his teachers at school on Earth whom had a very high authority rate over him and everyone there. He had to be polite otherwise he'd and the rest of the group might be forced to go back to Equestria without Fluttershy. He then spoke "Well Sun Goddess, I'm Takato and these are my friends, Rika, Henry, Takuma, Kento, Kazu, and Jeri."
One by one the Tamers all reached out to shake Sailor Sun's hand which she accepted once all hands were shook Sailor Sun smiled at them "Pleasure to meet you all." She pauses looking at the five Digimon that were on the Tamer's side "So, these are your Digimon Partners."

"We sure are my Sun Goddess!" Terriermon said bowing respectfully "And boy do we have some information that you're not going to like."

"So I've heard from Gatomon" Sailor Sun said "She wouldn't say much but she and Dragon Whispy said that the information you and your friends have for me was motive for them to search for proof of the information. So what is it that you want to tell me?"

Merukimon turned to the Sun Goddess already as if knowing what the Tamers were going to tell her and if he was right, it be best his Sun Goddess heard this at her castle "Sun Goddess, my lady, what this group has to say to you, it might be best you heard this in your castle."

Sailor Sun blinked thinking on things as Marcus asked "Why do you say that Merukimon?"

Merukimon looks around closely as if expecting a Digimon spy for the one culprit that Gatomon and Dragon Whispy were going towards to investigate "With what the Tamers and their Digimon have to tell the Sun Goddess, there might be a spy lurking around somewhere not seen in the area. Just waiting to see what the Sun Goddess may try to do and listen too."

Marcus bashed his fists together "You'll know what I say, that spy will learn real quick what happens to those that spy for the enemy and I get my hands on them!"

"You said it boss!" Marcus's Digimon Partner Agumon said.

Takato and Takuma gave each other a quick look at each other each thinking the same thing was Marcus, Tai Kamyia because both boys knew that Tai had an Agumon but there was one difference. Marcus's Agumon came with a red ribbon tied around his claw so in the end this could've been a different Agumon. Sailor Sun took the time to think on this "Marcus...Why does everything have to be settled by fighting them?"

"Because, that's the only way to stop anyone from spying on you and to capture them for interrogation"

Sailor Sun sweat dropped at Marcus's answer "I shouldn't be surprised to hear that answer coming from you..."

She then took Merukimon's advice "Alright."

She turns to the Tamers and their Digimon "Follow me to my castle. There you can tell me what you know or what is going on."

The Tamers follow the Sun Goddess with Merukimon standing behind them to guard their backs while Marcus was in front of Sailor Sun to in his own words "To Protect her."

This got Terriermon to snicker out as if suspecting Marcus liked the Sun Goddess "As if the Sun Goddesss needs protecting. She can take care of herself right lover boy?"

This caused both Sailor Sun and even Marcus to blush as this was true, Marcus did like Sailor Sun and she liked him. Henry gave Terriermon a look which Terriermon saw and spoke in his defense "Well the Sun Goddess can handle her own against any Digimon."

"True the Sun Goddess is powerful" Merukimon acknowledged from behind them to stop any further argument between the two "However even with all the power she has, she's still human just like your Tamers difference is she can take a lot of punishment but, she can still be badly injured to the point of near death and in the very, very, very far back past has even died."

This certainly surprised the Tamers and their Digimon. Rika saw the look in Renamon's face hearing this. From the look of things Renamon herself was shocked to hear this but it was also a face that told Rika that Merukimon wasn't lying. This gave Rika the knowledge that even the Sun Goddess as powerful as she was could still wind up dead which worried her.

Inside Zaiquiomon's palace the monkey deva Makuramon was guarding Fluttershy whom still refused to give him Calumon. Fluttershy was certainly scared but she put on her brave face knowing Takuma was going to save her. The Monkey deva stares at Fluttershy demanding once again to give him Calumon. Despite this Fluttershy refused to let him go. Finally Makuramon came over to her almost ready to hurt her "Give me Calumon or perish!"

"I'd rather die then give you and your cruel master Calumon!" Fluttershy told him "And if you kill me, my Takuma will show you no mercy!"

Makuramon was about to actually go through with his latest threat when warning sirens went off. He checks out the moniters muttering out "Oh, what is it now?"

He looks closely and gasps seeing Gatomon and Dragon Whispy running towards the castle "Curses! It's the Sun Goddess's two pets!"

Makuramon frowned not sure what to do. Sure he called Gatomon and Dragon Whispy the Sun Goddess's pets but he knew the Sun Goddess at this point was a neutral figure in this type of situation, plus even his master Zaiqiomon feared the Sun Goddess's powers and had even admitted to the Devas that he commanded that Sailor Sun was truly on their side so killing or harming Gatomon and Dragon Whispy would have grave consequences. Makuramon sees the images coming closer to the castle frowning while placing a hand over his head "Why must the Sun Goddess send those two? It's not like I can harm them, just like us Devas those two are doing their latest job from the Sun Goddess herself..."

He turns towards the cage Fluttershy was in as if knowing that if Dragon Whispy and Gatomon saw a human caged up then Zaiqiomon's plans and lies would be told to the Sun Goddess. This made him even more angrier knowing that if he killed Fluttershy then not only would he have an angry Tamer on his butt but the Sun Goddess as well. He literally was backed up in a corner, now he couldn't kill or harm Fluttershy. His best bet was to hide Fluttershy someplace where Gatomon and Dragon Whispy wouldn't find them. He eyes his captive "You're lucky I'm about to receive company from the Sun Goddess's pets themselves. I won't kill you...Just yet."

He presses a button and the cage goes up towards the ceiling and then seems to vanish. Sastified that Dragon Whispy and Gatomon wouldn't be able to discover the cage hidden up in the ceiling Makuramon. Makuramon had enough time to visit the Soverign "My Soverign! Dragon Whispy and Gatomon are nearly here!"

The flames of the Soverign erupted "Curses! That means Trixie had failed to dispatch the Tamers! They are here in the Digital World, and most likely would be visiting the Sun Goddess."

"Would that be the reason that her two pets are here?" Makuramon asked.

The Soverign gazed at the Deva "Don't you ever say that to me about Gatomon and Dragon Whispy! It's true they loyally work for the Sun Goddess as if they were her pets but they are also her advisers or at least Gatomon is! I doubt that the Sun Goddess sent those two to my castle because the Tamers are here, the Sun Goddess must've sent them to investigate me because she might want some answers about a certain D-Reaper problem we have."

Makuramon bowed respectfully to the Sovereign "Sorry for insulting Gatomon and Dragon Whispy! I've hidden the captive human girl!"

"LET'S HOPE YOU HID HER SUCCESSFULLY! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO REMIND YOU THAT GATOMON HAS EXCELLENT HEARING!"

Makuramon blinked the Soverign did have to remind him of that and the Monkey Deva cursed himself that sure he hid Fluttershy but he didn't take into consideration about his captive's sound "I'll silence the girl at once!"

"TOO LATE NOW!" The Sovereign told the Deva "All we can do is delay them. In the meantime I'll be sending someone to deal with the Tamers. After all" the flames chuckled "I wouldn't want any harm to come to the Sun Goddess now. And as you know...They will kill her."

Makuramon grinned at his master's choice of words "Going to send someone to harm the humans then? Good call."

The raging flames raged on "In the meantime, you must greet Gatomon and Dragon Whispy."

Makuramon bowed nodding "I shall be glad to meet those two."

The Sovereign seemed to have left causing Makuramon to turn "Time to try to talk those two out of it."

He wanders off to greet Gatomon and Dragon Whispy.

Gatomon and Dragon Whispy seemed to have gotten to the entrance to Zaiquomon's palace. One thing that concerned Gatomon and Dragon Whispy was that it seemed easy to reach the castle. Usaually the Sovereign would've had Devas greet them. Then again Sailor Sun had told the two that the Devas had been disappearing so maybe that was the reason. Just as they were to the entrance Makuramon greeted them with a smile on his face "Welcome, Lady Gatomon and Dragon Whispy. Welcome to the castle! What brings you here?"

Gatomon immediately suspected that the Tamers and the Sun Goddess were right. There was something about the tone that sent red flags threw her mind. Dragon Whispy was also hearing red flag go through her own mind. Dragon Whispy eyed the Deva "Are you the only Deva left here?"

Makuramon eyed her "There are perhaps two others left, the rest have been defeated, by the visitors that arrived here."

Gatomon eyes him back suspiciously "You mean to say the visitors that your master forced to come here because he kidnapped a girl from Equestria!"

Makuramon gasps then tries to act as if this was something he didn't know about or had something to do with "Where did you hear that accusation from Gatomon? I'd never thought I'd hear that coming from the Sun Goddess's best adviser."

"Keep talking you monkey brain!" Gatomon shouted at him drawing her claws "You and I have never been close friends. Why at this moment I have the mind to give you a part of my mind."

"Oh" Makuramon sneered teasing Gatomon "I'd love to see you try without the Sun Goddess to make you Digivolve little pet kitty!"

"THAT'S IT!" Gatomon snapped lunging at the Deva but Dragon Whispy teleported between the two Digimon splitting them apart from ever colliding "CUT IT OUT Gatomon! He's trying to get under your skin!"

"Well he's doing a great job at it!" Gatomon hissed eying the Deva.

Dragon Whispy eyes Makuramon trying to play the good cop part "I'm not sure how long I can keep her back. You say that is a accusation that Gatomon brought up? The Tamers themselves told us about your Sovereign's lies and what he's done."

"So...You two are taking their word for mine and my master?" Makuramon asked.

Dragon Whispy eyes him "Nope. The Sun Goddess herself has suspicions that your master is lying to her about something. She sent me and Gatomon to investigate your master and well the Tamers we crossed paths with I could tell wouldn't lie about that. So Gatomon and I are here to investigate your master."

"Now, now" Makuramon pleaded with the two "My Master would let you two in if the Sun Goddess told him she was investigating him! You have no right to investigate."

Gatomon eyed the Deva "Trying to push us out hugh? The Sun Goddess has every right to know what is going on between Equestria which the Tamers claim your master attacked it constantly and kidnapped a girl from. She also has the right to send me and Dragon Whispy to investigate your master WITHOUT telling you she's sending us. Now stand aside or I'll simply tell the Sun Goddess that you aren't letting us investigate."

Makuramon eyed Gatomon as if trying to scare her into not going with the Sun Goddess's orders but he knew that Gatomon would never disobey the Sun Goddess's order. Dragon Whispy eyes the Deva "Gatomon speaks the truth, the Sun Goddess has every right to investigate anyone she suspects is lying to her about something without telling them. If you are truly telling the truth, and allow us to pass and if we don't find any evidence then we'll leave to tell the Sun Goddess that she had nothing to worry about and that your master wasn't lying and that the Tamers were."

Makuramon sighed seeing that neither one was backing down, still he couldn't hurt them or the Sun Goddess would truly know something was up and he'd have to answer to her personally and the Sun Goddess had gotten to a point in her life where she could tell when someone was instantly lying especially when it was face-to-face. So he puts down his hands "Fine. You may investigate."

"Good decision" Gatomon told him.

Makuramon stood to the side allowing both both Dragon Whispy and Gatomon to pass and investigate his master. Makuramon had tried to slow down, even to turn the two around but they weren't buying it. He knew right then that if Gatomon heard Fluttershy up around in the ceiling then his master's plans would be totally revealed. He had to hope that Gatomon's ears wouldn't pick any noise up. Thus the investigation of his master the Sovereign would begin right then.

At Sailor Sun's castle the Tamers were once again amazed at the sight. It was a beautiful castle with Knightmon serving as guards to protect Sailor Sun. Seeing the Knightmon again caused Takuma, Takato, Rika and Henry to sweat drop nervously. They had already defeated four of them at FOB. By the looks of it it wasn't any of the Knightmon that served Sailor Sun. Now that the Sun Goddess and the Tamers were in her throne room the Sun Goddess was now willing to hear the Tamers out.

"So..." Sailor Sun told the Tamers "What is it that you have to tell me?"

"According to your best subjects in Gatomon and Dragon Whispy" Renamon reported "It would make you really upset."

"Coming from them if they are saying that" Sailor Sun admitted "That is probably true. So what's going on?"

Rika answered "Sun Goddess, this Zaiquiomon has attacked my friend Takuma Sparkle's adopted home world of Equestria repeatally without your knowledge."

"SAY WHAT?" Sailor Sun demanded she frowned and just like Dragon Whispy knew the Sun Goddess could tell when one was lying and Rika's face and tone told her that this was true "Okay...That is a high and very bad thing and without my knowledge."

"Why would someone do that?" Takato asked the Sun Goddess.

Sailor Sun shrugged then gripped her staff angrily "If it was an evil Digimon I could understand it myself. However this is Zaiquiomon whom is a good Digimon. I've told the Sovereigns time and time again do NOT attack worlds that don't concern you. Equestria of all worlds shouldn't ever be attacked!"

"Well" Terriermon said "It has been. Ever sense Henry, Takato, Rika, Guilmon, Renamon and I've been brought there."

Sailor Sun sighs "Great...That long."

"It was probably two or three weeks longer than that" Takuma told Sailor Sun "Because attacks seemed to have happened regularly almost immediately when I created Goldmon and he came to Equestria."

Sailor Sun had a hand underneath her chin thinking closely muttering "Interesting."

Takato nods stepping up "They weren't so bad at first, mostly Champion Levels at best."

Sailor Sun nods understanding that part as she adds on for him "So when it was like that you all thought it was just going to be considered a wild one to defeat and send back."

Every tamer except Rika nodded. Rika admitted then admitted out "When I started off I thought power was everything, so Renamon and I would battle foes just to get stronger..."

Merukimon watches the group closely as does Marcus whom mutters out "Digimon attacking the human world again...Wonder why Dats wasn't involved into stopping them."

Takuma overheard "Probably because my father Yamaki's company was intercepting the attacks and not informing them? Uh What is DATS anyway?"

Sailor Sun answered "DATS is short for Digimon Data Squad. Basically they are like security guards no police officers that involve Digimon related attacks. Dats was a secret organization that would erase people's memories about the encounter as well as stop Digimon from attacking the Earth or being used for crimes. If your father Yamaki and you could be right, if he did make this organization himself, he must've not consulted DATS when the attack happened."

It was Henry's turn to continue the story of the Tamers so far "In short, immediately when Takato, Rika and I arrived in Equestria we partnered up with Takuma and Goldmon to form a team to stop Digimon attacks as soon as possible. As Takato explained at first mostly it was Champion Level Digimon, but then...They came."

"They?" Sailor Sun inquired.

"As in the Devas" Rika answered "Devas started to attack Equestria right and left. At first we were all at a lost why as they only said they refused to be tamed."

"Sounds just like them" Sailor Sun muttered then she asked "Only a few organization of good Digimon are able to send Digimon outside of the Digital World but that takes a few days to do...Unless they had help. Do any of you know who maybe helping them"

"They do have help!" Takuma answered "Sun Goddess, the one helping the Sovereign out is a Unicorn pony named Trixie. I can't exactly say what reason she has to help other than she's trying to get even with my adopted mother Twilight Sparkle whom has shown Trixie to be nothing by a lair and a bragger."

Sailor Sun shook her head at this "It's always vengeance these days...And it's not the good vengeance."

Takuma then continued his tale "Anyway the Devas started attacking now as well almost appearing daily. The four of us were able to get to Ultimate Level Digimon, then the pig deva launched a rampaging attack on Ponyville."

Sailor Sun frowned hearing the words rampage this was one step higher than a regular attack. Sailor Sun bit her lip "I hope he didn't kill anyone there."

"Amazingly he didn't Sun Goddess" Takuma admitted to Sailor Sun "But he destroyed half of Ponyville in the process. It's nothing they can rebuild easily from but it'll take a while."

Sailor Sun turns to Marcus "Marcus contact DATS and tell them to send money to help rebuild Ponyville."

"Will do!" Marcus said leaving the room.

Takuma smiled seeing that the Sun Goddess was concerned for Equestria even willing to send money to help rebuild the town that the Deva destroyed even when she had nothing to do with it. He then finishes up "Takato, Rika, Henry and I were able to defeat the Deva but Makuramon-"

"Makuramon!" Merukimon shouted "He works for Zaiquiomon!"

Sailor Sun nods "Correct...Gatomon always hated him for some odd reason now she has an actual reason to hate him." She turns to Takuma nodding "Sorry, go ahead."

Takuma nods "Makuramon appeared destroying my father's plan to stop the Devas from entering once and for all, and" Takuma pauses refusing to cry as he grits his teeth angrily "Kidnapped my Fluttershy."

"And Calumon" Goldmon adds on.

Sailor Sun wasn't expecting the last part of the story "MAKURAMON UNDER ZAIQUIOMON'S ORDERS DID WHAT NOW?"
Merukimon was about to answer the Sun Goddess when she saw Takuma literally crying. Her calm and friendly tone now changed not to the the Tamers but to Zaiquiomon "THAT'S IT...I can't stand what he did on that last part... I'M GONNA KILL HIM."

Merukimon saw Sailor Sun get up eying the direction of Zaiquiomon's castle "Sun Goddess, even though I can see why your upset now, you still can't go blazing into his castle without any proof but the Tamer's story. You do that and many Digimon may question why you did."

"And question me they should" Sailor Sun told Merukimon "But it would serve to those that are thinking the same way as Zaiquiomon did."

"Sun Goddess, please calm down" Merukimon told her surprised to see that the Sun Goddess was indeed upset. He knew she had every right to be upset still she had to be certain to have evidence to show to her people that.

Sailor Sun knew this too as she sighed angrily "It's bad enough that Zaiquiomon attacks Equestria without consulting me-"

"Mostly because he knew you'd be against it" Merukimon admitted "Which even I'm against attacking any peaceful world like Equestia. I'm in agreement with you on that one."

Sailor Sun continued "True! It was bad enough then and now Makuramon under Zaiquiomon's orders kidnaps Takuma's girlfriend just because she wouldn't give up Calumon when he didn't want to go? Well I won't stand by and let Zaiquiomon continue this path. Merukimon mark my words, Zaiquiomon will pay for this, and if it's not by me destroying him, I'd probably remove him from the Sovereign group stripping him of his status."

"You can do that?" Takato asked.

"The Sun Goddess can do anything she wants to when it comes to crimes" Merukimon told Takato.

"Dang" Kento admitted Kazu "I never thought I'd see the day a goddess gets angry."

"She has every right too" Kazu told Kento "I mean if I were in her position and someone was acting behind my back attacking a peaceful world that has nothing to do with it...Then I'd be mad too...Plus the kidnapping part does leave a bad reputation on the Digital World and all Digimon as well..."

Marcus returned "Sailor Sun, Dats has agreed to pay for the damage and-" He takes one look at his girlfriend's face and sees her mad for once "Uh- what did I miss?"

"Sun Goddess" Terriermon asked Sailor Sun "Shall I tell Zaiquiomon for you or will you?"

"Careful there" Renamon told Terriermon "I've just read Marcus can hurt a Digimon just by punching him."

"Oh, I'll be careful" Terriermon admitted sweating.

Sailor Sun knew that if she told Marcus what she just found out then Marcus would in his words march quickly to teach Zaiquiomon a lesson. She and the Tamers needed support if they were to bring down the Sovereign. She nods towards Renamon "I believe you can tell him for me."

"I'll be delighted to my Sun Goddess" Renamon said bowing to her.

She turned to Marcus explaining to him about what Takuma had said and Marcus's reaction to it was the same as Sailor Sun but in different words "ZAIQUIOMON ALLOWED WHAT TO HAPPEN NOW?"

Marcus made a fist turning to Sailor Sun "I know we're waiting for evidence of this Sailor Sun, but now's not the time to wait for evidence! Now's the time for action! Say the word and I'll take Thomas, Yoshino, and Keenan with me to take Zaiquiomon down and into custody! Besides...I've been waiting to give that fire bird a fist to the face! Now I have a reason!"

This got a few chuckles coming from the group even for Sailor Sun to smile. Sailor Sun knew that Marcus always had her back especially when it came down for a fight. Still she had to let evidence reveal itself "Nice to have your support Marcus."

"You'll always have the boss's support Sun Goddess" Agumon told Sailor Sun.

"And you have ours" Takuma told Sailor Sun "With you on our side Sun Goddess, we can put a stop to Zaiquiomon's treachery as well as rescue Fluttershy."

Sailor Sun turned to the group "Very well, but we still need to wait for evidence."

"We don't need evidence when you got twelve witnesses!" Marcus points out.

"I for once am in agreement with Marcus" Takuma admitted "We have the Sun Goddess's support, we've got arguably the best street fighter on our side."

"Plus we've got Merukimon helping us right?" Marcus asked Merukimon.

Merukimon agreed "Right you are Marcus!"

Goldmon turned to Takuma "Are you sure we can do this?"

"Of course we can" Takuma told him partner "We've got an ally in Sailor Sun."

"That you do" Sailor Sun admitted but she calms everyone down "But we still need evidence of Zaiquiomon's treachery to bring him down. Sure we have twelve witnesses that are more than Zaiquiomon's own witnesses but a lot of the local Digimon will question why we're after Zaiquiomon without evidence. Once they are able to see the evidence themselves they can understand what and why this had to happen. Until then we can't act aggressively."

"True" Marcus admitted "But what's stopping Zaiquiomon from attacking the palace?"

"The fact that it would automatically make him a traitor" Merukimon answered.

"To my eyes the Sovereignmon is a traitor already" Guilmon admitted.

Sailor Sun took her time to think looking out the window "Everyone, I know this is hard for you especially for you Takuma, but we'll get Fluttershy back. That I'll promise you. If Gatomon and Dragon Whispy say they've spotted Fluttershy as a hostage we'll rescue her."

Takuma could tell that she spoke the truth and he trusted her "Alright then."

"As for now" Sailor Sun admitted "We need to rest. You may stay at my castle to rest for the night."

"Thank you" was the reply.

The Tamers all spread out for the night.

In another area of the Digital World the red flames found a humanoid Digimon that seemed black and leopard like. The Red flames turned towards the black knight like Digimon. At the same time the black leopard humanoid knight eyed it back. The red flames seemed to be telling the other Digimon something and that something was about the Tamers. The Digimon known as Leopardmon eyes the Red Flames "You know Lord Zaiquiomon that at this time the Tamers have told the Sun Goddess what they know."

"Perhaps" Zaiquiomon said "But I need you to launch an attack on the palace of Sailor Sun."

"That's treachery!" Leopardmon told Zaiquiomon "And will mark you down as a traitor!"

"Not if you don't reveal it" Zaiquiomon told him "Besides weren't you the one that says justice equals power? You'd be doing the Sun Goddess a favor by eliminating the Tamers"

"True" Leopardmon said "What's in it for me if I do this?"

The flames answered "You'll be saving my skin for once. Without the Tamers and I trust you won't say I'm involved in the attack, I can then ask Makuramon to end the girl's life."

"You're playing with fire" Leopardmon admitted but then he smirked "But I'll gladly do the deed for you. I can't stand humans except for our Sun Goddess. Besides I've hated her too, but a lot of Digimon like her so it would deal a blow to her if I did this. So I will."

Leopardmon leaves too attack the castle of the Sun Goddess determined to destroy the Tamers and his own Sun Goddess. The Raging Flames then vanish. To be continued

YES! This new chapter is over! And the Tamers have revealed to Sailor Sun what has been happening.
