Author's note
In honor of the recent 3-D re-release of Beauty and the Beastin theaters, I will do a second fanmake of it, with My Little Pony characters in the role. I have been waiting a while to do this so let's begin.

Prologue: A Demon beginning

As our story begins, we see a forest with animals doing their natural thing and a deer drinking from the creek. But our focus right now is on a beautiful castle that is home of a prince...but let's the narrator explains, shall we?

As we see many portraits on the castle's outside, the narrator spoke, "A long time ago, in a faraway place of Equestria, there lived an Earth Pony prince."

We see an Earth Pony prince, looking selfish and vain on the first stain glass window.

"And while he had everything that his heart has desired, the prince himself was spoiled, selfish, unkind, and cares only for himself."

We now see another stain glass window that shows some sort of old female unicorn arriving at the castle, much to the prince's annoyance. We see her showing a beautiful red rose to the Earth Pony.

"Then, one winter's night, an old beggar female unicorn came to the castle, asking for shelter from the bitter cold with a single rose in return."

Of course, the Earth Pony prince frowns as he turns away the old unicorn, trying to dismiss her.

"Disgusted by her haggard appearance, the prince just sneer at the gift and turned the old woman away. Of course, she warns him not to be deceived by appearance as beauty can be found within."

As predicted, the selfish prince closes the door on her, dismissing the old female unicorn once more. That proves to be a mistake as we see her transform. The Earth pony looks stunned and horrified as he saw that she has transformed into a beautiful alicorn with a long mane named Princess Celestia.

"And when the prince dismissed her once more, the old female unicorn's ugliness disappears, revealing herself to be a beautiful magical alicorn named Princess Celestia. The prince tried to apologize but, alas, it was too late for she has seen that there was no love in his heart..."

And thus, we see Princess Celestia sternly tapping her horn onto the shameful boy. Two stained glass windows saw that the hooves become hideous and with claws to boot.

"As punishment for his action, Princess Celestia transformed the Earth Pony prince into a hideous Demon Pony, as well as placing a powerful spell on the castle, along with those who live there."

We now see the present as the castle is now darker and covered with dark clouds...of hatred and such. Inside a room of the place, the former Earth Pony prince, now a Demon Pony, growls as he slashes a picture of himself with his claws before turning away in shame and despair.

"Ashamed of how monstrous he has become as well as his selfish actions, the Demon Pony concealed himself in his own castle, using a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world that seems to have forgotten him."

We now see the mirror that glows a bit, along with a familiar rose inside a glass container. That flower is the same one that Princess Celestia offered and allow him to keep despite his rejection before...there is a way to break the spell on him but only through a certain way.

"The rose that Princess Celestia had offered was in fact an enchanted rose which would continue to bloom until the Demon Pony's 21st birthday."

We go to outside the castle with thunder and rain continuing onward.

"If the Demon Pony could ever learn to love another, and earn her love in return by the last petal fall...then the spell would be broken. If not, the Earth Pony would be doomed to remain a Demon Pony forever. As the years passed however, it appears that he has fallen into despair and lost all hope...for who could ever learn to love...a Demon Pony?'

Wow, what a sad beginning; I betcha things would get better, right? In the next chapter, we meet the heroine, Twilight Sparkle, as she heads into Ponyville while a musical number is played. We also meet the arrogant Boris, who wants to marry her, as well as his goons Dum-Dum and Boxco, as well as Twilight's father Dusk Shine (I just found the name at a wikipedia site, not official yet). Read, review and suggest.

I already got the gang for this story so no suggestions (unless it's for minor characters and suggest) from anyone. And of course, I already decided on what the servants are transformed into.

Chapter 1: Strange Twilight

Now a while away from the enchanted castle is a small cottage near the village of Ponyville; It's home of an inventing unicorn who is considered crazy by the locals.

But this story isn't about him but one who is leaving the cottage itself to return a book to the bookstore while wearing a backpack on her pack. She is a female violet unicorn with a black-purple mane and tail that had Pink stripes on it, purple eyes and a pink star marking on her flank. Her name is Twilight Sparkle, the inventor's daughter who is considered weird by the town too, but not too much like her father.

As Twilight heads to town, she smiles as the unicorn begins to sing.

Twilight: Little town, it's a quiet village
Every day, like the one before
Little town, full of little ponies
Waking up to say...

"Hello! Hello! Hello, hello! Hello!" Each pony in Ponyville exclaims in a chorus to Twilight. The unicorn continues singing as she goes near an Earth pony named Braeburn who is bringing a tray to his bakery.

There goes the baker with his tray like always
The same old bread and rolls to sell
Every morning's just the same
Since the morning that we came
To this poor provincial town...

"Hey, morning, Twilight," Braeburn exclaims to Twilight with a smile.

"Good morning, Braeburn." Twilight said with a smile while Braeburn put a tray right at the window.

"So where yew heading off 'ta today?"

"Oh, I'm heading to Doctor Whooves's bookshoop! I just finished a good story about a beanstalk, an ogre and..."

"Yeah, yeah, nice," Braeburn said, not really paying attention to what Twilight's saying. Turning to the window, he exclaims, "Hey, Little Strongheart; 'De apple pies! Come on!"

Twilight shrugs. She figures that Braeburn wouldn't bother with her habits today. As the unicorn heads on, she passed Berry Punch and Bon Bon who look at her while singing.

Berry Punch & Bon Bon: Look there she goes. That girl is strange, no question
Dazed and distracted. Can't you tell?

Golden Harvest: Never part of any crowd

Noteworthy: 'Cause her head's up on some clouds

All (but Twilight): No denying she's a funny girl, that Twilight Sparkle

With a smile, Twilight got onto a back of a cart being pulled by Chance-A-Lot while going through town.

Chance-A-Lot: Hello

Screwball: Good day

Chance-A-Lot: How is your family?

An unicorn named Fleur de Lis goes up to Jet Set's place of business, the male unicorn smiles stupidly to her.

Fleur: Hello

Jet Set: Good day

Fleur: How is your wife?

An annoyed Upper Crust uses her magic to hit Jet Set on the head, causing him to yelp in pain.

Violyre: I need six eggs

Brolly: That's too expensive

Twilight: There must be more than this provincial life

Twilight jumps off the cart upon reaching the bookstore and enter the place, being greeted by the owner, Doctor Whooves. He smiles while saying, "Oh, Twilight. Welcome back."

"Morning, Doctor Whooves; I came to return the book that I borrowed." Twilight announces happily as she gave the book to Doctor Whooves who smiles as he begins to put it back into its own usual place.

"Oh, so you're finished already?"

"Yes, I couldn't put the book down." Twilight giggles as she looks through the shelves. "So got anything new that I can borrow?"

"Well, not since yesterday." Doctor Whooves answers with a bit of a chuckle. Twilight has practically read and borrows every book in the place. He doesn't mind it as long as the unicorn returns the book once she is done with it.

"It's okay. I think I will borrow..." Twilight said as she uses her magic to take a blue book from a shelf, giving it to the book store owner, "This one."

"Seriously, that one; But you read it twice already!"

"I can't help it, it was my favorite!" Twilight laughs as she hang onto the ladder and rolls down the track on it, having fun. "Far off places, daring swordfights, magic spells, a prince in disguise, I can't get enough of it!"

Doctor Whooves smiles a bit as he gave the book back to Twilight. If the unicorn loves it so much, then perhaps she can keep it. The Earth pony suggests, "Well, my good friend, if you love it so much, you can keep it, free of charge."

"Really? But Doctor Whooves!"

"I insist!" Doctor Whooves laughs as he pushes Twlight out of the place. We see three Pegasus ponies named Dumb-Bell, Hoops and Score, who were looking at her through the window, looking casually as if not doing anything.

"Wow, thank you so much!" Twilight giggles happily as she leaves with her new book in hoof. The three Pegasus ponies grin as they sing next.

Dumb-Bell, Hoops and Score: Look there she goes
That girl is so peculiar!
I wonder if she's feeling well!

Orange Blossom: With a dreamy far-off look

Ace: And her nose stuck in a book

All: What a puzzle to the rest of us is Twilight Sparkle

Twilight, ignoring the singing, sat down near a fountain as sheep are passing by, some of them stop to look at her while sitting a bit.

Twilight: Oh! Isn't this amazing?
It's my favorite part because, you'll see!
Here's where she meets Prince Charming
But she won't discover that it's him until chapter three!

A sheep herder Earth Pony named Black Stone shoves the sheep away while saying, "Okay, little sheep, get going, come on."

Twilight smiles as she head off while going pass a hat shop where Photo Finish is trying on a hat while looking into a mirror being held by Lucky.

Photo Finish: Now it's no wonder that her name means 'Beauty'
Her looks have got no parallel

Lucky: But behind that fair façade
I'm afraid she's rather odd
Very different from the rest of us

All: She's nothing like the rest of us
Yes, different from the rest of us is Twilight Sparkle

As the folks continue their activities, a bunch of geese are flying overheard...and yelps in alarm as one of them was shot down by a rifle, being send falling to the ground. Two ponies are holding sacks while trying to grab the dead bird. One of them is a purple coated Unicorn with a spiky like short mane, yellow eyes and a short tail. He got a number 2 symbol on his rank. His name is Dum-Dum.

The other pony is a white coated Pegasus pony with a long mane, a long mane, orange eyes and a dunce cap on his flank. His name is Boxco.

The two ponies try to catch the goose, only for it lands a yard in front of them. Dum-Dum yelps as he said, "Oops; Miss."

"Never mind," Boxco said nervously as he nervously kick the goose into his sack. The Pegasus and Unicorn goes over to someone blowing the smoke off the top of his hunting rifle that he is using magic to use. "Wow, Boris, you never miss big time!"

"Yes, I know." The stallion said with a chuckle. Boris is a red-colored furred colt with a black sharp like mane with a black tail, wears a necklace of gold and silver, wears a vest and has a shotgun cutie mark. Boris himself is considered to be the hero of Ponyville and lover of women throughout the village.

"Yep; beside no beast or monster would ever stand a chance against ya," Dum-Dum boasts as he and Boxco hold Boris's latest kills while following their boss, "Same thing for the ladies too!"

"Why, yes, Dum-Dum, Boxco, that's true as usual. In fact, right now, the filly that I got my sights set on right on is that one." Boris said with an eager grin. The stallion points to a hoof right at a familiar unicorn reading while heading through town.

"Wait, you mean the inventor's daughter?" Boxco ask in surprise. As long as the town has remembered, Boris wants Twilight Sparkle for himself, wanting so much to woo and marry the female unicorn.

"Yes! Twilight is the one, the girl that I'm destined to marry."

"But she, but..." Dum-Dum begins to protest in concern as he and Boxco knows of the fact that Twilight doesn't like Boris and doesn't want to be involved with him.

"The most beautiful filly in town," Boris exclaims with a smile.

"Yes, I know that but..."

The two dumb ponies yelps as Boris uses his magic to grab them both, glaring at the two while saying, "Which of course makes her the best! And of course, I always deserve the best!"

"Yes, of course you do, but..." Boxco begins to say but was cut off as Boris throws him and Dum-Dum to the ground as he begins to sing in determination.

Boris: Right from the moment when I met her, saw her
I said she's gorgeous and I fell
Here in town there's only she
Who as beautiful as me
So I'm making plans to woe and marry Twilight Sparkle

Boris was checking himself in a mirror and looks around and saw Twilight passing him. The frowning unicorn follow her in determination while going by three female ponies named Trixie, Derpy Hooves and Heartstrings.

Trixie, Derpy Hooves and Heartstrings: Look there he goes. Isn't he dreamy?
And Boris, oh he's so cute!
Be still my heart, I'm hardly breathing
He's such a tall, dark, strong and handsome brute!

The girls happily fainted. Boris, not noticing, tries to go through a busy crowd while trying to catch up to Twilight who goes through it easily.

Mr. Breezy: Hello

Boris: Pardon

Caesar: Good day

Junebug: Mais oui!

Diamond Mint: You call this tofu bacon?

Amethyst Star: What lovely grapes

Pokey: Some cheese!

Blue October: Ten yards!

Pokey: One pound

Boris: 'scuse me!

Pokey: I'll get the knife!

Boris: Please let me through!

Cherries Jubilee: This bread!

Cool Star: Those fish!

Cherries: It's stale!

Cool Star: They smell!

Filthy Rich: Madam's mistaken!

Twilight: There must be more than this provincial life!

Boris: Just watch. I'm going to make Twilight my wife!

To Boris's annoyance, the townsfolk gather around him and keeping him from Twilight as they sing on.

All: Look there she goes a girl who's strange but special
A most peculiar mademoiselle
It's a pity and a sin
She doesn't quite fit in!

Men: But she really is a funny girl

Women: A beauty but a funny girl

All: She really is a funny girl! That Twilight Sparkle!

Once the song is over, Twilight blinks her eyes and turns to the folks who quickly go back to their activities. The unicorn shrugs as she continues reading while heading on home. During the end of the song, Boris got onto the rooftops and manages to get to the front, landing right near Twilight herself.

"Hey there, Twilight," Boris greets Twilight with a smirk.

"Hey, Boris," Twilight said with a nod. However, Boris suddenly grabs the book from the unicorn, much to her annoyance. As he looks through it in confusion while turning the page, Twilight ask with a sigh, "Boris, can I have my book back please?"

"How can you even read this book? I mean, there aren't any pictures!"

"Well, there are people who like to use their imaginations, Boris."

"Twilight, my dear, it's time for you to get your head out of those books." Boris said with a shrug as he ignores Twilight's attempts to get it back before throwing it into a mud puddle, making the unicorn frown a bit. "And pay attention to something more important...like me of course."

Twilight roll her eyes as she picks her book up while Trixie, Derpy and Heartstrings are nearby, sighing lovingly to Boris. Twilight ask with a frown, "Like you; seriously?"

"Of course; the whole town is talking about it; I mean, a lady like you shouldn't even read, it's not right! And pretty soon she will start getting ideas and start thinking for once!"

"Boris, not to be rude, but you are positively primeval."

"Hey thanks." Boris said, not realizing that Twilight is making fun of him a bit. The red unicorn put a hoof around the purple one while trying to lead her away. "Say, since you're in town, how about we hang out in the tavern and look at my trophies, hmmm?"

"Sorry, some other time," Twilight said, trying to refuse politely.

"Oh come on, what's wrong with her?" Trixie ask in disbelief. She can't believe that foolish unicorn would turn around a chance to be with Boris. "I would've been with Boris in a heart beep."

"Right, that unicorn is crazy." Heartstrings said in agreement.

"Oh, he's gorgeous." Derpy said happily making Trixie and Derpy join her in looking lovingly at Boris.

Twilight manages to get out of Boris's hold. While the red unicorn may be well-liked and the hero of the town, she is the only one who saw him as an egotistical jerk who loves only himself as well as a rude colt who is arrogant.

"Listen, I seriously can't." Twilight insists as Dum-Dum and Boxco appears with Boris's kills in their arms. "I have to get home and help out my father. Later."

"Ha! That insane loony of a unicorn," Dum-Dum laughs in amusement at the thought of Twilight's father Dusk Shine, while he and Boxco put down their boss's kills. "Oh brother, that bum needs all the help that he can get!"

"Yeah, that dumb unicorn can't even use magic right!" Boxco remark cruelly as he, Dum-Dum and Boris laughs wickedly at the insults towards Dusk Shine much to Twilight's annoyance. Why must nearly everyone in Ponyville make fun of her father?

"Don't talk about my father that way!" Twilight snaps to the three colts in annoyance.

"Yeah, don't talk about her father that way!" Boris snaps to his minions, trying to get on her good choice as he hits Dum-Dum and Boxco on the head each, making them yelp in pain.

"And despite what you ponies think, my father is not crazy! It's so happens, he is a genius!"

Without warning, an explosion is heard blowing up at Twilight's house, making her yelp in alarm. Looks like her father is having trouble with his latest invention; As she gallop back home quickly, Boris and his minions laugh cruelly, though the boss knocks Dum-Dum and Boxco down so that he could laugh by his lonesome.

Once Twilight got home, she uses her magic to open the basement doors where her father's laboratory is at. She coughs a bit as smoke came out before going down into the basement and spot her said father getting up while removing a weird barrel 'dress' on himself. He is a unicorn with a blue coat, a slate blue mane, and green yellow eyes. The unicorn himself has a yellow waxing crescent moon with a smaller waning crescent moon inside. His name is Dusk Shine, Twilight's father.

"Dad, are you okay?" Twilight ask Dusk in concern.

"Whoa, how did this happen?" Dusk ask with a cough as he get himself free from the barrel while glancing at his invention, some ax wielding machine that is supposed to be used to cutting up wood.

As Twilight uses her magic to get a hanky to clean Dusk up a bit, she asks, "Seriously, are you okay?"

"Yes I am...but I'm about has it up to here with this useless piece of junk!" Dusk snaps angrily as he kicks at the machine lightly, though that is enough to cause him to groan in pain.

"Awww, come on. You always say that, daddy."

"I mean it this time, Twilight! There's no way that I will ever get this blasted thing to even work!"

"Come on, you will. And you will win first prize at the fair tomorrow." Twilight said, trying to give her father the courage. The fair is tomorrow and Dusk Shine is entering the invention in hopes that it will be so well-received, things will be different for the filly and her father from now on.

"Ha!" Dusk snaps as he cross his hooves stubbornly. Of course, Twilight is not about to let her father give up just yet.

"And who knows? You might end up being one of the greatest inventions that Equestria has ever seen."

"Really; you believe that?"

"Of course, as always," Twilight said with a smile. This cheers Dusk up. His daughter always knows how to give him the right confidence for him to keep going no matter what.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Dusk ask in determination as he got a wrench, "Time to get started so I can get this thing done in no time." The unicorn put goggles on before going under the machine to work on it. "Now hand me that weird looking clencher, okay?"

"Right, here you go." Tiwlight said as she grabs the clencher and hands it to Dusk who takes the thing before continuing work on his invention.

"So Twilight, did you have fun in town today?"

"Well, I got a new book...daddy? This is going to sound weird but...do you think that I'm...well, odd?"

"My daughter, odd," Dusk ask with a scoff as he slides out to face Twilight, his eyes look weird from wearing those goggles. "Now who in Equestria gave you a ridiculous idea like that?'

As Dusk slides back under the machine, Twilight sighs while saying, "Oh I don't know. It's just...well, the ponies talk and..."

"Well, don't forget, they talk about me too."

As Dusk got out from under the machine, he smiles as the unicorn begins to sing.

Dusk: No, we're not odd, its true
No fam'ly ever saner
Except one father who...well, maybe let that pass
In all you say or do
You couldn't make it plainer
You are your mother's daughter; therefore you are class

Twilight: So I should just accept
I'm simply not like them

Dusk: They are the common herd
And you should take my word
You are unique: creme de la creme
No matter what you do
I'm on your side
And if my point of view
Is somewhat misty-eyed
There's nothing clearer in my life
Than what I wish and feel for you
And that's a lot...
No matter what

Twilight: No matter what they say
You make me proud
I love the funny way
You stand out from the crowd

Dusk: It's my intention my invention
Shows the world out there one day
Just what we've got...

Both: No matter what

Dusk: Now some may say that fathers just exaggerate

Twilight: That ev'ry daughter's great?

Dusk: You are!

Twilight giggles a bit; this song is cheering her up.

Twilight: And ev'ry good daughter tends to stay at her father's tops

Dusk: She pulls out all the stops
To praise him

Both: And quite rightly!

Dusk: No matter what the pain
We've come this far
I pray that you remain
Exactly as you are
This really is a case of a father knowing best

Twilight: And a daughter too!

Dusk: You're never strange

Twilight: Don't ever change

Both: You've all I've got
No matter what.

Once the song is over, Dusk smiles as he goes back to the machine. Although Twilight is cheered up a bit, a concerned unicorn is still feeling a bit down.

"While what we said is true, daddy, there is really no one to talk to around here." Twilight said with a sigh. The purple unicorn don't have much friends in town, the folks in Ponyville think her weird.

"So how about that Boris fellow," Dusk suggests to Twilight as he uses magic to use a tool to work on the machine. "I mean, he's a handsome fellow, right?"

"Oh sure, he's handsome all right...as well as rude, selfish, conceited and...oh, daddy, he isn't the right one for me. I wanted a colt whose is not like that."

"Well, no worries. This invention is going to be the start of a new life for us." Dusk assures his daughter as he got out from under the machine. "Well, I hope that does it. Time to give this baby a test, shall we?"

Dusk pulls a lever on the machine to get it started. Soon the thing begins whirling and begins chopping wood before sending it flying to a small wood pile nearby. The duo looks surprised. The machine didn't blow up or anything; it's doing what the device was made to do!

"Daddy, it works!" Twilight neighs to her father in delight.

"It does?" Dusk ask puzzled but dodges a log that almost hit him. "Oh yes! It does; Ha ha ha!"

"You did it!"

"That's right. Go get Spike, Twilight! I'm off to the fair!"

Of course, another log hits Dusk in the head, making the unicorn yelps as he fell to the basement floor unconscious. Twilight giggles a bit. Her daddy can be so silly at times.

A while later, Twilight and Dusk were able to put the invention into a wagon with a help of a friend. He is a baby light purple with a light chartreuse one with moderate sap green scales, a greenish gray underbelly and light lime 'ears and chartreuse green eyes. His name is Spike the Dragon, a friend of Twilight's family and the purple unicorn's Number One Assistant.

"Well, we're ready to get going, Dusk Shine." Spike said in the wagon seat. He and Dusk waves goodbye as they head on their way to the fair that is in another place away from Ponyville.

"Bye, daddy, bye Spike!" Twilight exclaims while waving goodbye to Dusk and Twilight with a smile. "Good luck!"

"Later, Twilight, and thanks!"

"Bye, honey, take care while we're gone!" Dusk exclaims with a smile as he and Spike heads on with the invention in the wagon behind them in determination. Who knows? Perhaps the invention itself could win and change things for Twilight and Dusk forever.

Unknown to the two of them, however, something big will happen that will change everything forever.

And thus, we meet Twilight, her father Dusk and the arrogant Boris. Good songs, eh? In the next chapter, Dusk Shine himself get lost in the woods and separated from Spike before winding up at a familiar enchanted castle. There, he meets the servants...who are either young foals or baby ones!

Me: Yeah, but unfortunately, Dusk always meets the castle's angry owner AKA the Demon Pony! Read, review and suggest.

Most of the ponies in the chapter are either background ponies or those who has roles in Twilight's show's episodes.

Boris, Dum-Dum and Boxco are my OCs.

I don't know if Dusk Shine is Twilight's father, I found it on the MLP: FIM wikipedia site. That name is up in the air for now.

The Houndoom in this chapter is Pokemon characters so they aren't My Little Pony characters at all; Then again, since I have put a non-character in a fic before (IM Cree Lincoln in my past All Grown Up fics), it probably doesn't matter anyway.

Chapter 2: The Terrible Demon Pony

Hours has passed as Dusk and Spike pull the wagon on their trek to the fair. Of course, destiny seems to have decided to take them both into a dark forest.

"Weird, we should've been there by now." Dusk said in concern as he looks around the dark forest while glancing at the map that should've taken him to the town where the fair is at. "Spike, did we take a wrong turn or something?"

"We must've, Dusk. I don't recognize this part of town." Spike remarks as he looks around the dark forest. "Man, either the path got a dark forest or we're really lost."

"Wait, what's this?" Dusk ask puzzled. He and Spike saw a fork in the road that has a signpost, but the signs themselves appear to be unintelligent and badly written.

"Looks like no one has been here for years or something."

Dusk and Spike looks around, knowing that one false turn would get them further lost and right into danger. The little dragon glance at one direction, which leads further into the dark and terrible, and to another direction which has a bit of light shining.

"Well, I say we go left." Spike said with a nod as he prepares to turn the wagon left.

"No, we shall go in this direction." Dusk said as he motions to the other direction...right into the dark forest, much to Spike's horror as he looks from it and to the light area.

"Are you crazy, Dusk? That way looks like it could lead us into Houndoom or worst! We better go to the left or we're lunch!"

"Oh, don't be a coward, it's a shortcut!" Dusk insists as the unicorn heads down the dark looking road, making Spike gulp in fear. "No worries, we should be there in no time flat."

"That's what I'm afraid of." Spike said nervously. He got a bad feeling that the two are heading to a wrong direction.

A while has passed as the two friends walk through the dark forest; both of them are getting a bit nervous as Dusk and Spike looks around. They could've sworn that they themselves saw a shadow of a Houndoom rushing through the trees...along with a howl, making Spike gulp in terror.

"Hold on, this can't be right! Spike, where have you taken us?" Dusk demands to Spike in concern.

"Hey, you're the one who wanted to go down this way, Dusk!" Spike protests to Dusk innocently. "I just wanted to go to the path to the left!"

"You're right. Maybe we oughta turn around..."

Spike nods in agreement; that is one thing that happens that the little dragon can agree with. Of course as Dusk back the wagon up, he accidentally hit a tree. This causes a flock of bats to fly out and causing Spike to scream as he hit the reins, causing Dusk to run while pulling the wagon with the invention in it.

"Whoa, whoa," Dusk yelps as he stops to avoid running off a cliff in time. But as the two turns, the two hit a bunch, knocking the unicorn down.

Spike didn't notice as he frantically begins driving the cart away into the forest while with the invention. Dusk got back up, looking around in concern. This doesn't look good.

"Err, Spike?" Dusk begins to ask nervously. For some reason, the unicorn is suspecting that his little friend isn't coming back anytime soon.

As Dusk prepares for a dangerous trek through the forest, he heard growling, turning his head slowly and saw a pack of Houndoom appearing...and these guys look hungry! Dusk gulps a bit, has he been able to use his unicorn powers properly, the unicorn would've taken these guys.

But Dusk can't so he did the natural thing: the unicorn runs away with the Houndoom in hot pursuit. The unicorn rush as fast as he could but yelps as he rolls down a steep hill, landing on the bottom of it.

As Dusk got back up while shaking the dirt off of himself, he looks up to see a terrifying sight: an iron gate and fence. This must be someone's home! The unicorn looks up the hill that he has fallen down of to see the Houndoom appearing on top of the hill, growling at him. Dusk didn't hesitate to get back up and rush over to the gate.

"Help me, someone open the gate!" Dusk exclaims frantically as the Houndoom rush down the hill to attack him.

Luckily, the gate flew open, causing Dusk to fell behind it. Quickly, the unicorn slams the gate close before the Houndoom could get him, causing his pursuers to fall back. Dusk shines in relief but yelps as one of the Pokemon grabs him by the hoof through the gate's far. Dusk manages to shake himself free and got away from the growling Houndoom, safe and sound.

Dusk sighs, looking up to see an amazing sight: it's a dark castle that appears to be in the middle of a storm. As lighting flash in the sky and it begins to rain, the unicorn sniffs a bit and heads up to the door. Dusk may as well stay here for the night as it's dangerous with those Houndoom at the gate, waiting for him. Plus, the unicorn is catching a cold so he needs some medical care at once.

Dusk knocks on the door causing it to creak a bit. He hesitates a bit before went into the castle's foyer. Hopefully someone in here is kind and will give him some hospitality in this place.

As the castle appears to be dark, Dusk casually yet cautiously look around while calling out, "Hello?" No one answers at first. "Oh boy, I hope someone is home. Hello, anyone home?"

It looks like someone is here; Dusk can hear voices, though both sound to be young foals. One of them spoke in concern, "Poor guy; looks like he is lost in the woods literally."

"Quiet, you." Another voice hisses at the first one in concern. "Perhaps if we stay quiet, this intruder will go away."

"Excuse me, anyone here?" Dusk ask in concern as he looks around. Someone must be here! The unicorn can hear the two voices!

"Look, not a word, Soarin', not a single one, got it?"

"Look, forgive me for intruding and coming in unexpectedly...but my friend Spike has run off with my cart and I was hoping to have a place to stay for the night."

"Awww, Caramel. Come on." The first voice, now known to be Soarin' said in sympathy. "Have a heart; he is in need of our hospitality."

"Forget it, quiet!" The second voice, AKA Caramel, snapped in annoyance. As Dusk looks around, the unicorn unnoticed steps on a little tail that is exposed in the light. This causes the second voice to scream in alarm and pain.

"Now I know someone's here! Who's here?" Dusk ask in concern. Whoever this Soarin' and this Caramel are, must be friendly, right? The unicorn sure hopes so or he is in bigger trouble than his confrontation with the Houndoom!

"Of course, you're welcome here, sir!" Soarin' voice calls out causing Dusk to look around. The unicorn looks around, yelping as he felt something fly by him, "Right here, sir!"

"Where?"

Dusk felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to turn around and saw a foal Pegasus colt, smiling at him. He has green eyes, a navy blue mane and a very pale azure coat. The colt appears to be wearing an outfit. His name is Soarin'.

"Hey there," Soarin' exclaims to Dusk with a smile. This causes the unicorn to yelp in alarm as he almost knocks the Pegasus pony to the floor, "Whoa, whoa, easy there! Sorry to scare ya pal but try to at least do so without knocking me out!"

"Sorry." Dusk apologizes though a bit confused. What is a young foal doing here, all alone and with no parents around? "Still, incredible."

Just then Dusk looks surprised as he saw another foal colt who looks upset. He has a cream caramel coat, caramel brown mane, and dark cyan eye stallion with three blue horseshoes on his flank. His name is Caramel.

"Ugh, now you've done it, Soarin'! You're going to get us all in trouble!" Caramel scowls to Soarin'. Suddenly the foal yelps as Dusk picks him up by his own fore hooves, "Hey, hooves off!"

"What are you two doing all alone and with no parents around obviously?" Dusk ask the two foals in curiosity.

"Hey, put me down, put me down right now!" Caramel protest then laughs madly as Dusk couldn't help but tickle his lower hooves. The unicorn then stops to look at his flank but the annoyed foal push him away. "Stop that, do you mind?"

"Oh, forgive me! I didn't mean to upset anyone. You see, I'm lost, in need of a place to stay and...AH...AH...ACHOO!"

Dusk has sneezed so loudly that he did so right near Caramel, causing the foal to yelp before groaning as he takes a hanky out to clean himself off. That was disgusting!

"Awww, you look cold and soaked, sir." Soarin' said in pity as he takes Dusk by the hoof, leading him to the parlor of the castle. "Come on, have a seat right near the fire. You definitely is in need of our hospitality."

Of course, neither Soarin', Caramel or Dusk notices that someone in the shadows on the second floor is watching them, glaring as he rush off. Most likely the unicorn is about to meet someone who isn't nice at all.

"Soarin', no, no, you know what the master would do if he finds out that this unicorn is here! Stop, I command you to stop!" Caramel protests as he grabs Dusk by the leg, trying to stop this. Unfortunately, his size was too big for him, causing the Earth Pony to the floor. Caramel got up and groans as Dusk was sat into an armchair that is near the fireplace where a fire is now burning, "Awww, no. Not the master's chair."

Just then a female toffee brown puppy with patches of white and black eyes came in, barking happily as she push a footstool right under the visitor's feet. Her name is Winona.

"Thank you." Dusk said with a smile, causing Winona to bark happily. What great service, even if it's from young foals and a puppy. Weird!

"Oh...not looking, not looking..." Caramel groans a bit as he covers his eyes in worry. The master would not be pleased to see him at all!

"Hey there, little puppy," Dusk smiles as he pets Winona then smiles as a young foal named JJB88 puts a blanket over the unicorn, keeping him warm. "Wow, nice service!"

"Stop it, stop it right now, enough! I'm in charge here and I say..."

Unfortunately a cart came into the room fast, knocking Caramel right down to the floor. As he groans, it stops right near as we saw another foal pushing the cart that has a tray of tea on it. It is a female orange Earth pony with green eyes, blonde mane and tail, both in a ponytail, wears only a cowboy hat and has three apples marking on her flank; her name is Applejack

"Well, howdy, sure! Welcome 'ta 'de castle, us members o' de Apple Family loves making new friends!" Applejack exclaims happily as she shakes Dusk by the hoof, causing him to shake a bit like mad.

"Whoa, why thank you!" Dusk chuckles a bit as he lets go of Applejack's hoof. "My, strong for a little filly, aren't you?"

"Thank yew. Would yew like some tea? Yew need some after a cold night out 'here! Normally I preferred 'ta serve Apple Cider but 'dis is 'de best 'dat we got on short notice."

"No, no tea!" Caramel exclaims frantically as he rush to the group in worry.

Of course, Applejack just ignores Caramel as she pours a cup of tea and gave it to someone who passes it to Dusk who drank it. Of course, his tail begins tickling the one who is giving the tea cup to him: it's a foal filly, but a baby version that had golden yellow fur and a red mane that had a big red bow in it. This is Applebloom, Applejack's sister.

"Hee hee; his tail is done tickling me, Applejack." Apple Bloom giggles, much to Dusk's surprise.

"Oh, hello there," Dusk said, chuckling to the filly. "I didn't know that baby fillies like you can talk yet."

"Trust me, there's more to this place that meets the eye, sir." Another baby filly, who appears with a third one, spoke up. She has orange coat, grayish purple eyes, and ragged, pale short pink mane as well as a pink tail. Her name is Scootaloo. "And it's kinda long story."

"Right, you need some clothes, sir." The third baby filly spoke up. She is small, adorable-looking and has a whitish-coat, big sap-green eyes, a unicorn horn and a purple and pink mane and tail. Her name is Sweetie Belle. "If we could find my sister Rarity, she could make you warm clothes in an instant!"

"Why, I would like that!" Dusk exclaims with a smile. "Where..."

But suddenly the parlor doors was slammed opened, causing a howling wind to be blown into the room, putting the fire out and making the servants gasp, with Caramel hiding under the rug in fear.

The CMC hide behind the shivering Applejack with Apple Bloom saying, "Uh oh; not good."

"I didn't know that he was coming down here today." Scootaloo adds with a gulp.

Dusk looks around, a bit frightened as he saw a shadow of an angry figure that is coming into the parlor, crawling on all fours. It's a furry black huge pony with red eyes, wolf like teeth, a black mane, a black tail and a red collar. He is known as the Demon Pony, the former prince of the castle that is under the spell, but Dusk doesn't know that.

As the Demon Pony furiously came into the parlor, he snarls, "A stranger is in here..."

"Master, err, let me explain." Soarin' said with a gulp. "You see, this unicorn was lost in the woods and is very cold. I figure that we..."

The Demon Pony of course roars in fury, causing the Pegasus pony to yelp and looks nervously at his master. Caramel gulps as he peeked out from under the rug. His master is very upset indeed.

"Uh, sir, I like to take this moment to speak up. I was against this from the very start!" Caramel snaps as he points to Soarin' frantically. "This was all his fault, I wanted to stop him! But the fool refuses to listen! He..."

The Demon Pony however roars at Caramel, causing him to yelp in fear as he hides under the rug once more. Dusk turns to his right, looking for the master that the foals are speaking to. Then he looks to the left and gasps upon seeing the Demon Pony, on his two hind legs, glaring at him.

"Gah," Dusk exclaims as he fell out of the armchair before backing away from the furious Demon Pony.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" The Demon Pony demands to Dusk furiously.

"I was lost in the woods, honestly!"

"YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED HERE!"

"I'm sorry; I didn't mean to trespass, honestly!" Dusk protests nervously as he focus on the Demon Pony. The monster didn't like the stare from the intruder, not one bit.

"And what are you staring at?" The Demon Pony snarls at Dusk in fury. He hates being look at like that; it makes him even more furious than usual!

"Err, nothing, honestly!"

"Oh, so...you came to stare at the Demon Pony, have you? Well, want to continue looking and take pictures? It will last longer than you!"

"Please, sir, I mean no harm!" Dusk exclaims in fear as the angry Demon Pony advances on him. The unicorn is obviously scared to death for his own life. "I just want a place to stay!"

"Oh, you want a place to stay? I will give you a place to stay!" The Demon Pony snaps furiously as he grabs Dusk and drags him out of the parlor like a prisoner of a dangerous monster.

"NO, PLEASE! NOOOOO!"

The servants can only watch helplessly and in concern as the Demon Pony drags Dusk out of the room, slamming the door close on his way out. Poor Dusk. If he's lucky to survive the master's wrath, life in the tower would definitely kill him!

Oh no! Dusk's stay at the castle wasn't a good one! Now he's a prisoner of the Demon Pony! In the next chapter, after Boris's attempt to marry Twilight, the purple unicorn and Spike heads to the castle, where Twilight meets the Demon Pony. In order to save her father, the filly must make the ultimate sacrifice. Read, review and suggest.

The Houndoom of course are Pokemon.

First off, to Agent, C.H.A.O.S., I gave ya a private message before. It is not a parody; the story's a fanmake (why do people keep calling it that?). Twilight is like Belle, she reads books, helps her father and don't take crud from anyone, not even Boris. I can keep the lyrics in script format if I want to. I didn't mind it before and I don't mind it now. I don't mind what using the characters to expand on the story. Heck, I'm willing to use every MIP: FIM character if I have to. And finally, I am not in it to be a good writer, I'm in it to have fun. So in closer, thanks for the advice, but I can handle this without being a better writer.

For BrightDark89, same idea but is Crescent Sparkle official by the creators? No, the name is up in the air right now so I'm just using what I think suits the name best for now. Also, the names that I'm using names that is official, so there's no need for me to use the other names.

Chapter 3: Beauty Meets the Beast

It was a brand new day at Twilight's house. The unicorn is inside keeping herself busy while waiting for Dusk and Spike to get back. Unknown to her, three familiar figures, one of them is in a tuxedo, was watching the place from the bushes.

"Oh boy, Twi is in for one big surprise, eh Boris?" Dum-Dum asks Boris with a grin.

"Yep, once Twilight gets cornered like this, she definitely must go for you." Boxco said in agreement.

"Oh yes, today is Twilight's lucky day." Boris said with a chuckle. He heads off, letting go of a branch and causing it to hit his sidekicks in the mouth each, resulting in leaves being in them. The hero, not bothering or caring, heads to a group of ponies that he has invited to his wedding. "Everyone, while I would like to thank you all for coming to my wedding...I have to go in and propose to the filly."

Everyone, minus the crying Trixie, Derpy and Heartstrings, laughs madly. The girls are sad that the hunky bachelor in Ponyville is now going to get married...or so Boris wants to happen anyway.

"Listen carefully, you two. When I come out that door with Twilight..." Boris begins to explain his plan to Dum-Dum and Boxco, who got the leaves out of their mouths, carefully.

"Right, we know! One of us starts up the band!" Boxco exclaims with a smile.

Suddenly Dum-Dum uses the stick to conduct a band, making them play 'Here Comes the Bride' very fast. Of course, the music came to a hard as the annoyed Boris slams the unicorn's head hard with a tuba, getting him stuck in it in the progress.

"Not yet!" Boris scowls to Dum-Dum in annoyance. "You really live up to your name, Dum-Dum!"

"Sorry!" Dum-Dum apologize, his lip can be seen coming out of the lip end of the tuba.

Now inside the house, Twilight was reading a book but looks up to see a song playing loudly from a record player. The purple unicorn uses her magic to turn the volume down while saying, "Nyx, honey. Mommy can't focus on reading while that music is so loud."

"Sorry, mommy," A young filly apologizes to her mother. Now this filly is a foal alicorn with moderate opal to Dark opal and a Light opal outside eyes, a dark blue violet mane and a very dark cornflower blue. She has a shield on her flank. Her name is Nyx, Twilight's adopted daughter.

Twilight discovers Nyx abandoned two years ago and decides to take her in, becoming the little filly's adopted mother. Of course, the unicorn discovers that she was once the evil side of Nightmare Moon, when Princess Luna herself was once corrupted. After some problems involving an evil cult and when Nyx once went bad again, Twilight was able to keep her own daughter for good, promising to do whatever it takes to keep anyone from using Nyx to their advantage again.

"Anyway, when is grandpa going to come back from the fair?" Nyx ask Twilight in concern. "I feel like something bad has happened to him."

"Relax, your grandfather will come back when he can." Twilight said with a smile. Just then a knock came at the front door, making the purple unicorn go to the machine that is used as a peephole, making her look through it. Twilight cringes in disgust as she saw Boris outside waiting.

"Let me guess: Boris the 'Dope who can't Take a Hint' is outside?"

"Unfortunately; try to bare with this until I chase him out, Nyx." Twilight then opens the door, giving a fake smile to Boris who came in. "Ah, Boris. This is...an unexpected surprise."

"Ah yes, Twilight. And..." Boris glances at Nyx who glares at him. "Uh, what is your name again; Nightmare Moon; Night Terror?"

"Nyx. You know that, Boris." Nyx said dryly to Boris. She hates it when people call her by her former villain name. That makes the poor filly feel guilty as to what Nyx herself has done in the past.

"Right, of course; Anyway, isn't it a surprise, Twilight? You know...I betcha there isn't a filly in town who wants to be you right now. Today is the day... Boris, as he came into the house, stops for a moment to admire himself in a mirror before continuing, "...that all your dreams will come true."

"Can I please shove him out, mommy?"

"Not yet, wait until the right time." Twilight whispers to Nyx then turns to Boris while asking, "What makes you think that you know about my dreams, Boris?"

"Oh a lot," Boris chuckles as he begins to sing, much to the fillies' annoyance.

Boris: You'll be keeping house with pride

Nyx: (sarcastically) Just incredible!

Boris: Each day gratified

Twilight: So unweddable!

Boris: (lifts Twilight a bit) That you are part of this idyllic scene

Once Boris put the annoyed Twilight down, he goes over to a table where the purple unicorn has put her book down while speaking up, "All right, picture this." The jerk then sat in a chair before putting his lower hooves onto the table itself, getting mud onto Twilight's book, much to her and Nyx's annoyance, "A rusting hunting lodge, my latest roasting over the fire...while the little wife is massaging my hooves."

"Ewww," Twilight and Nyx exclaims in disgust. The thought of the purple unicorn massaging Boris's lower hooves is disgusting. They cover their noses to keep themselves from passing out from how smelly they are.

"And during this time, the little ones will play on the floor with the dogs. Of course, we will have six or seven."

"Err, dogs?" Twilight ask uneasily.

"No way, I mean colts, strapping ones like me!" Boris exclaims with a laugh as he got up.

"And what's wrong with fillies like me?" Nyx ask Boris with a deep frown. "I happened to be important in mommy's life."

"Oh come on, you would still be important in her life as well a smile. Of course, we will have to send you to reform school to help control or get rid of whatever evil magic you got left in you, Nightmare Moon. Can't have another rampage likes yours running loose again, can we?"

"Urge to kill...rising..."

"Calm down, Nyx." Twilight said, keeping her daughter from trying anything. Of course, the adopted mother hates what Boris is thinking of doing to poor Nyx. The purple unicorn spoke sarcastically, "Yeah, I could imagine that." The red colt smirks as he continues singing.

"Disgusting!" Twilight and Nyx exclaims as they try to get away from Boris. It's obvious to them that he wants to marry the purple unicorn.

Twilight gulps as Boris has the purple unicorn cornered at the door. The red colt smirks as he ask, "So how about it, Twilight? Is it a yes...or a 'oh yes'?"

"Boris, I will be honest..." Twilight gulps as she uses her magic to turn the door handle behind her. Nyx nods as she sneaks behind Boris, ready to pounce. "I really don't deserve you!"

"Well, who does?" Boris laughs as he finishes his song.

Me!

"Sorry, mommy gave ya her answer!" Nyx exclaims. Suddenly Twilight opens the door and quickly moves out of the way to allow her adopted daughter to head butt Boris right out it. The red colt screams as he is send into a mud puddle outside.

As the band begins to play, unaware of what happened at first, Nyx throws a rock at Boris, hitting him in the butt before Twilight slams the door close. Once the music stops, Boxco and Dum-Dum turns and looks surprised to see their boss's rear end in the butt as what appears to be a pig rose out of the puddle...until the ticked off red colt rears his ugly head, revealing a pig right on top of him.

"So...how did it go?" Dum-Dum asks with a smile.

"When are you going to send that brat to reform school?" Boxco ask Boris with a nod.

The two minions got their answer...the hard way as Boris furiously grabs them by the neck each, snarling, "Twilight will be my wife...and that Nightmare brat will be gone! No mistake about that!"

Boris throws Dum-Dum and Boxco into the mud puddle before storming off in humiliation. The two frowns as Boxco remarks to the pig, "Well, touchy." The swine squeals in agreement.

It was a while later and everyone else is gone, the wedding is cancelled and a good thing too. The door opens up as Twilight and Nyx pokes their heads out. The purple unicorn asks, "Nyx, is he gone?"

"Yep, coast is clear, mommy." Nyx said with a nod. Twilight sighs in relief then left the house with her daughter; the older filly frowns as she fed some of the chickens. Twilight can't believe what that creep Boris wanted her to do.

"Can you imagine? Boris asked me to marry him! ME! The wife of that stupid, boorish, and...UGH!"

"I know! And he wanted to send me to reform school! Ick! And it sounds like the jerk wanted sons around! That comes to show that Boris has negative attitude about fillies!"

Twilight frowns as she begins to sing.

Twilight: Madame Boris!
Can you just see it?

Twilight, putting the towel over her heads, looks like a housewife, much to Nyx's displeasure.

Madame Boris!

Twilight frowns as she kicks a bucket, scaring the chickens right off before removing the towel from her own head.

Twilight then rush to the open fields as in a familiar musical with Nyx following her in concern.

As the mother and adopted daughter sat on the ground, Twilight picks up a dandelion and sighs a bit. She doesn't want what Boris and some of the narrow-minded ponies have in mind for her. Twilight wanted more.

And for once it might be grand
To have someone understand

Twilight sighs as she let the wind blow the dandelion away.

I want so much more than they've got planned...

"Mommy, don't worry. Someday you will find a colt whose is right for you." Nyx said gently. "Who knows? You may have your adventures. Not like it would come running right to us, right?"

Before Twilight could answer, a familiar voice yells out, "TWILIGHT! NYX," The two fillies look up and saw Spike rushing up to them in the wagon with the invention...but no Dusk!

"Spike; what's going on?" Twilight asks in shock as she and Nyx got up to head over to Spike who looks freaked out.

"Not good! Big trouble! Dusk is gone!"

"Spike, relax, relax!" Nyx exclaims as she and Twilight manages to calm the scared dragon down. Something's wrong! Where's Dusk? He is never without Spike when the male unicorn comes back from the fair!

"What happened? Where's Daddy? Where is he?" Twilight ask Spike in worry.

"We got lost in the dark forest and I guess I must've gotten separated from him!" Spike exclaims in worry. Twilight, in alarm, begins to take Spike out of the wagon with her magic. Her father is lost and could be in danger!

"We got to find him! Spike, lead me to the dark forest! Nyx, you and I will have to use our tracing magic to follow where he has gone!"

Once Spike is on Twilight's back, Nyx got on behind her before the purple unicorn gallops off quickly. There isn't a moment to waste!

Spike lead Twilight to the dark forest where she and Nyx begins using their tracing magic to follow a trace of Dusk. Soon they approach the same iron gate of the castle that the unicorn has discovered the night before.

"What is this place?" Nyx asks in concern and worry. The castle is dark and dangerous. "This castle reminds me of my past life...I really hated being reminded of that!"

Spike screams in terror as he hugs Twilight frantically. The purple unicorn exclaims, "Whoa, Spike, calm down! Easy! Come on! Let's go inside!"

"Oh, this is very scary." Spike mumbles as Twilight opens the gate allowing the trio into the grounds. They then spot something on the ground, a familiar map with handwriting on it.

"Mommy, it's grandpa's map." Nyx said with a gasp as Twilight picks it up with her magic in concern. Dusk must've dropped it upon arrival! He is definitely here

"Papa..." Twilight said in worry. Dusk must be inside this dark castle and who knows what's happening to him now?

Soarin' groans as Caramel pace back and forth, scolding him for letting Dusk stay in the castle, only for the Demon Pony to captured him afterwards! Honestly, he hates dealing with lectures from 'Mr. Bossy'."

"Oh, you have to open your big colt mouth, did you?" Caramel snaps to Soarin' in annoyance. "You had to go and invite him to stay, as well as serve him tea, allow him to sit in the master's chair and pet Winona!"

"Well, excuse me; I was trying to be nice and hospitable!" Soarin' snaps to Caramel in frustration. "The guy looks like he is in need of some help!"

"Well, thanks to you, he is now locked up in the tower! Who knows what the master would do to him in there if he hasn't already?"

Meanwhile, Twilight's group enters the castle and looks around, Twilight calls out, "Hello; anyone home?"

"Hey, anyone," Spike calls out in concern as the trio climbs up the staircase. "Come on out, we need some help here!"

In the kitchen right now, Applejack was busy, preparing a bath for the CMC. Speaking of which, the baby foals rush into the room as Apple Bloom exclaims, "Hey, sis! Yew won't believe what we done saw! We saw two fillies an' a dragon we did!"

"Right, one of the fillies is older than the other! Isn't that cool or what?" Scootaloo ask with a giggle.

"Now, Apple Bloom, Scoots, I am none in 'de mood fer silly stories." Applejack said to Apple Bloom and Scootaloo with a sigh. After what happened last night, hearing stories like this is the last thing that the Southern filly wants right now.

"But we did saw her, honestly!" Sweetie exclaims to Applejack in concern. "Oh, I know that Rarity would love this."

"Come on, inta 'de tub wit' ya three."

"Hey, wait!" Scootaloo protests but groans as Applejack forces her, Apple Bloom and Sweetie into the tub to get cleaned up. "Come on! It's true!"

"Hey, AJ," A voice exclaims as Applejack and the CMC turns to see another foal filly peeking into the kitchen eagerly. She is a light blue Pegasus pony with a rainbow mane and tail, pink eyes and a marking of a cloud and a rainbow shaped lightning bolt on her flank. Her name is Rainbow Dash. "You aren't going to believe this, but we got visitors in the castle! Two fillies, one of them is older, and a baby dragon; Awesome!"

"Great horny toads! Really," Applejack gasps to Rainbow in shock and disbelief. So the CMC are right? There are new visitors in the castle!

"Told ya, Applejack," Apple Bloom giggled to Applejack with a smile. Silly of her big sister to think that she and her friends was telling wild stories!

As Caramel continues berating Soarin', the Pegasus colt rolls his eyes as he made a hoof puppet, mimicking his associate's speaking, "...irresponsible, devil-may-care, waxy-eared, pea-brained..." The Earth Pony notices what Soarin' doing and slaps his hoof, making him yelp. "Cut that out!"

"Daddy," A new voice calls out, much to the two foals' surprise. They turn and saw Twilight, Nyx and Spike passing by the doorway to the room that they're in. "Daddy, where are you?"

"Caramel, whoa! Did you see that?" Soarin' ask excitedly. He and Caramel rush to the doorway and saw the newcomers turning down a corridor. "It's a filly!"

"Yes, I know it's a filly; there're two of them." Caramel remarks to Soarin' with a frown.

"I know, but I mean the purple unicorn, the older one! Don't you see? She's the one," Soarin' laughs excitedly as he points to Twilight, "The filly that we were waiting for, the one who can break the spell!"

"Don't be ridiculous. What gave you that..." Caramel yelps as Soarin' rush off quickly and eagerly, causing the Earth Pony to follow. "Hey, wait, hang on!"

Soarin' and Caramel suspects that Twilight, Nyx and Spike are here, looking for Dusk; Well, it's time to help them find him! The two foal servants open the door as Twilight's group passed by. Caramel hid behind the door as Soarin' quickly rush up the steps that leads to the prisoner tower where Dusk is now at.

The noises that Soarin' is making caught Twilight, Nyx and Spike's attention, making them turn as Spike ask, "Wait, hey, anyone here?" They head through the doorway, passing Caramel as they heard the footsteps going up the steps. Someone is in fact here!

"Wait, hang on! We are looking for my grandpa!" Nyx exclaims as she, Twilight and Spike rush upstairs. Caramel peeks out from behind the door in concern. The Earth Pony hopes that his Pegasus pony pal knows what he's doing.

The trio rush up the steps until they reach the top floor, looking around puzzled, not noticing that Soarin' has hid himself behind a pillar.

"Weird, wasn't someone here a few seconds ago?" Twilight ask a bit puzzled. "Weird, what's going on?"

"Twilight?" A familiar voice spoke. Twilight and the others gasp upon seeing a familiar unicorn peeking through the bars of his cell.

"Dad!"

Twilight uses her magic to pick up a torch nearby as she, Nyx and Spike rush over to the cell door as the concerned Dusk saw them. Nyx ask worried, "Grandpa, are you all right?"

"I'm fine. But how were you three able to find me?" Dusk ask Twilight's group in relief.

"Tracing magic," Spike said as he felt Dusk's coat, making him yelp a bit. "Whoa, dude, you're cold as ice!"

"Oh no, you're freezing and sick!" Twilight exclaims in worry. "We gotta get you out of here!"

"Listen, Twilight, you must leave this place now!" Dusk exclaims to Twilight in worry, knowing that his captor could come here at any given moment.

"Who did this to you?" Twilight ask Dusk in worry. What kind of monster would lock her father up and make him freeze to death like this?

"There isn't any time to explain!" Dusk exclaims as he coughs a bit like mad. "You, Nyx and Spike must leave now!"

"We are not leaving without you!"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" A furious voice roars as a furry foreleg grabs Twilight, causing her to scream as she was pulled away from the cell door, causing the purple unicorn to lose her torch in a puddle of water in the progress.

"No, Twilight, Nyx, Spike, run!" Dusk exclaims with a horrified gasp.

"What's going on?" Nyx ask in worry and fright.

"Who's there, who are you?" Twilight asks as she, Nyx and Spike looks around, seeing only darkness in most parts of the tower. The only light came from a hole in the roof. Soon they spot the one who arrived, glaring at them with red eyes.

"I am the master of this castle! What are you all doing here?" The Demon Pony demands to the trio more than he asked.

"We've come for my father! Please, let him out! He's sick, can't you see that!"

"NOT MY FAULT! He shouldn't have trespassed here!" The Demon Pony snarls at Twilight in anger.

"Please, my father could die!" Twilight pleads to the heartless Demon Pony. "Let him out, I will do anything."

"There is nothing that you can do. He is now my prisoner."

The Demon Pony prepares to head off, not wanting to hear another word from the intruders. Spike groans, "Man, not good. We may as well leave before we end up his prisoners too."

"No, I can't give up, there must be something that I could do...wait!" Twilight exclaims. She has an idea, but it may be one that could cost her everything. The Demon Pony stops to glance over his shoulder, wondering what the filly wants. Twilight, glancing back at Dusk, came into the light as she spoke, "Take me instead."

"What?" Nyx, Spike and Dusk exclaims in shock and disbelief. They can't be hearing right! Twilight wants to be a prisoner in her father's place?

"You," The Demon Pony snaps in disbelief. But then the monster calms down a bit as he soon became surprised. "You...want to take his place?"

"Twilight, no! You don't know what you're doing!" Dusk pleads to Twilight in horror. If his daughter stays here, then he will never see her again!

"If I did...would you let my father go?" Twilight ask the Demon Pony in concern. Even if it means being a prisoner in this castle forever, at least Dusk is freed and can finally be saved.

"Well...yes, but you must promise to never leave the castle and will stay here forever." The Demon Pony said to Twilight calmly yet sternly.

"Wait, mommy is crazy to stay here...at least by herself. If mommy's staying, then I will too." Nyx said sternly. "I don't want her to be alone as a prisoner."

"Then I will stay too! I'm Twilight Sparkle's Number One Assistant and won't let her and Nyx stay here to suffer alone too." Spike said in determination.

"Wait, have you two lost your minds?" Dusk exclaims in more shock. First his daughter wants to take his place as the Demon Pony's prisoner, now Nyx and Spike wants to stay to keep her company? This is madness!

"Well, how about it?"

"Well...fine, you two may leave if you like but Twilight Sparkle must never leave no matter what." The Demon Pony said calmly. After all, he is starting to suspect something. Could Twilight be the one who could break the spell over him? And what is this new feeling other than hope of freedom?

Twilight pauses as she look closely at the Demon Pony, still in the shadows before saying, "Please, come into the light. I want to know whom I will be prisoner to should I make that decision."

The Demon Pony hesitates but then slowly moves into the light, allowing the newcomers to see him fully for the first time. The trio's eyes widened upon seeing him...as a monstrous Demon Pony!

Twilight gasps as she turns around to face her scared father. Nyx exclaims, "Wow! And I thought I look terrible as Nightmare Moon! You definitely take the cake...err, no offense."

"Man, I'm freaked out now." Spike said with a gulp. If Twilight chose to stay, then she, Nyx and the baby dragon must be prisoners to...this Demon Pony.

"Well, what is your decision?" The Demon Pony demands to Twilight more than he asked. Only one choice could either save Dusk or condemn him.

"Twilight, no; I won't let you do this!" Dusk exclaims to Twilight in a pleading tone of voice.

Twilight however sighs sadly as she turns to the Demon Pony, her eyes closed while saying, "You have my word."

"Done," The Demon Pony exclaims. He goes past the trio to open the prison door to release Dusk. Twilight sobs as she fell to her knees in despair, wondering if she herself has made the right choice.

Once the door is opened, Dusk rush over to Twilight in worry as he said, "Twilight, Nyx, Spike, listen! Let me take this, I've lived my life! You don't have to throw yours away to save it!"

Unfortunately Dusk yelps as the Demon Pony grabs him, dragging the unicorn out of the tower, making Twilight gasps in shock, "Wait!

"Twilight, Nyx, Spike!"

"Wait, come back!"

Outside the castle, the Demon Pony drags Dusk to a coach nearby that is pulled by five dark gray coat Pegasus guards that wears purple armor. The father exclaims frantically, "Please, you don't know what you're doing! Spare my daughter, my granddaughter and my friend, please!"

"They are no longer your concern, you old colt!" The Demon Pony snaps as he throws Dusk into the coach before closing the door to lock him in; turning to the Pegasus guards, the monster snaps, "Take him to the village and dump him there!"

The gray coated Pegasus guards nod as they pull the coach away, ignoring the protests of Dusk inside the thing. At the tower, Twilight watch sadly as her father leaves, making her buried her face in her hooves as she sobs. Nyx and Spike sighs as they comfort her.

"It's all right, mommy, everything's going to be okay." Nyx said with a sigh of concern.

As the Demon Pony climbs up the tower stairs to figure out what to do with his new 'guests', Soarin' came up to him while asking, "Hey, master?"

"What?" The Demon Pony snaps at Soarin' in annoyance.

"Well...since the filly and her group will be staying with us for a long time...I figure that maybe you might want to offer them a more comfortable room." Soarin' chuckles nervously to the Demon Pony. The monster just responds by roaring at him loudly before continuing onward. "Okay, then again, maybe not!"

The Demon Pony came into the cell, seeing a sad sigh. Twilight is on the floor, sobbing in sadness as Nyx and Spike are with her. The purple unicorn looks up, tears in her eyes as she exclaims, "You didn't let me say goodbye! I will never see him again. I didn't even get to say goodbye."

"Man, you are one bad monster." Spike said, shaking his head while looking upset at the Demon Pony.

The Demon Pony then has a look of guilt on his face while looking to the ground. Twilight is right, he didn't give a chance to give the unicorn a chance to say goodbye to Dusk for the last time. Then the master remembers Soarin''s advice. Perhaps his new prisoners should have a more comfortable room.

"Well, come on, I will show you all to your room." The Demon Pony said with a sigh.

"Wait, our room?" Twilight asks in surprise as Nyx and Spike are startled by the Demon Pony's offer. They were supposed to be his prisoners but now he's offering them a room? "But...I thought..."

"What? You rather stay here in this tower?"

"Err, no. And I don't think Spike or my adopted daughter would want to either."

"Good, then follow me." The Demon Pony said with a stern nod.

A while later, the Demon Pony is now leading Twilight, Nyx and Spike through a maze of corridors with the help of Soarin' who is holding a candle with his mouth. The foal filly stops to look around at the place then gasps as she runs back to her mommy's side.

The Demon Pony pauses to glance over at Twilight; the poor filly is shedding a tear while Nyx puts a hoof on her shoulder to comfort her adopted mother. Well, it's safe to know that the little foal is not really Twilight's real daughter.

Soarin', in concern and not standing the silence any longer, whispers to the Demon Pony, "Come on, at least say something to her!"

"Huh? Oh..." The Demon Pony said, clearing his throat while speaking to Twilight. "Err, I hope you like it here."

"That depends on your definition of the word 'like'." Spike said with a sigh. Soarin' make a gesture, signaling his master to go on, in hopes to at least make things better.

"Well, you aren't always going to be treated like a prisoner, you know. This castle is your home now. You three can go anywhere you like...except off the castle grounds...and in the west wing."

"What's in the west...?" Twilight begins to ask puzzled.

"IT'S FORBIDDEN!" The Demon Pony booms loudly to Twilight, cutting her off. His voice echoes throughout the castle corridors. The master then said normally, "Well, only me and my servants are allowed in there; No one else!"

As the Demon Pony and Soarin' continues leading the way, Nyx ask quietly, "Weird, what is in that west wing place that he doesn't want us to see?" Even Twilight is a bit curious by the Demon Pony's own order; Very suspicious.

Soon the group reaches a door to one of the guest rooms, the Demon Pony opens it to let the group enter, though they do so cautiously. For a creepy looking castle, at least the place has a comfortable room.

"Now, if any of you need anything, my servants will attend to you." The Demon Pony said to Twilight, Nyx and Spike softly.

"Dinner, invite the purple unicorn to dinner." Soarin' whispers to the Demon Pony quietly. Perhaps dinner could allow him to know Twilight a bit better.

"Ahem...Twilight Sparkle...you will join me for dinner...that is not a request!"

Soon the Demon Pony slams the door shut making Twilight gasps in shock. Now he wants her to come to dinner? That isn't an invitation, that's being forced to! The purple unicorn sobs as she rush over to her bed and sighs as she took a picture out, that is of her, Nyx, Spike and Dusk.

Twilight sniffs as she begins to sing once more.

Yes, I made the choice
For him - I will stay
But I don't deserve to lose my freedom in this way, you...

Turning angrily to the closed door, Twilight yells loudly to the Demon Pony, "YOU MONSTER!"

"Mommy, calm down, please." Nyx said to her adopted mother in sadness. Twilight sniffs as she shed tears while singing some more.

If you think that you've done is right, well then
(teary as she continues) You're a fool.
Think again.
Is this home?
Is this where I should learn to be happy?
Never dreamed
That a home could be dark and cold.

Every day in my childhood

Nyx and Spike watch in sadness as Twilight tears up a bit some more.

Nyx, tearing up too, looks down in sadness. Was it a mistake to be prisoners of a Demon Pony?

Spike looks sadly as Nyx sobs while heading her head down onto the bed, tears roll down to her cheeks. Twilight is about to break down herself as her song comes to an end.

Once the song is done, the fillies bury their faces onto the bed of the new 'prison', one where they will be in forever. Spike sighs as he pat his friends on the back, comforting them some more.

Author's note
Oh man, poor Twilight. She, Nyx and Spike are now prisoners of the Demon Pony, just to save Dusk. What will happen next? In the next chapter, back in Ponyville, Boris is fuming over his humiliation while Dum-Dum, Boxco, and the villager cheer him up with a song. Of course, when Dusk comes in with a mad story, the villain gets a plan.

Spike: Yikes!

Me: Yeah. Meanwhile, Twilight, Nyx and Spike meets the servants but will the purple unicorn goes to dinner like the Demon Pony orders her to? Not likely. Read, review and suggest.

Nyx is an OC that belongs to an author named PenStrokePony who allows me to have use of her. Nyx herself is once the corruption that took over Princess Luna and became a filly in a cult's attempt to regain power. Of course, the young one changes and became Twilight's story. Nyx appears in the fic 'Past Sins'. Check it out at Equestria Daily or wherever you may find it. It's really good.

Chapter 4: Evil Plans and Dinner

As Twilight and Nyx continues sobbing in their new found 'prison' at the castle, back in Ponyville, things were busy at Pony Joe's Hunting Lodge where ponies hang out, drink, eat and entertain themselves. Boris, in his normal outfit, was there in his armchair...though he is not happy or having fun. Twilight's rejection before has put him in a downer.

"Ugh! Who does Twilight Sparkle think she is? That filly went and messed with the wrong colt! No one dares say 'no' to Boris!" Boris exclaims angrily and in disgust.

Dum-Dum and Boxco came over to their boss with three mugs of Apple Cider in their mouths, the former spoke up despite his own mouth being full, "Yeah, you got that right."

"And worst yet, she dismissed me, rejected me!" Boris exclaims angrily as he grabs the mugs from his minions. "And with that brat's help, the two publicly humiliated me!" The angry unicorn throws the stuff into the fireplace, making a big blaze. "Ugh! That's more than I can bear!"

"More Apple Cider, Boris," Boxco ask Boris, hoping that drinking Apple Cider would at least cheer Boris up.

"Ugh, why would it help? Nothing helps!" Boris exclaims as he turns away from his pals, putting both fore hooves on his face. "I'm disgraced, nothing can cheer me up now."

The two minions look at their boss in concern, Boris is feeling so down. They must do something so Dum-Dum spoke up, "What, you Boris? No way!"

"Right, come on, Boris, you must pull yourself together." Boxco said as he pats the upset Boris on the back. Then Dum-Dum begins to sing.

Dum-Dum: Gosh, it disturbs me to see you, Boris
Looking so down in the dumps.

Dum-Dum tries to help Boris smile by pulling on his face, but after the 'dumps' part, the annoyed red colt hits him, sending Dum-Dum into Boxco as the two lands right onto a table where three more of Boris's minions like a griffin named Gilda and two ponies named the Film-Flam brothers are there drinking as well.

Boxco: Everypony here'd love to be you, Boris
Even when taking your lumps

Boris grunts a bit as he turns away in his chair, crossing his arms, not in the mood. Dum-Dum and Boxco got out of their state as they head to their boss while singing some more.

Dum-Dum: There's no colt in town as admired as you
You're everyone's fa-vor-ite guy!

Boxco: Everyone's awed and inspired by you

Boxco and Dum-Dum smiles as they turn Boris's chair around.

Both: And it's not… very hard… to see why

Trixie, Derpy and Heartstrings came up to Boris, looks at him before getting onto the red colt, fawning while sighing happily.

Dum-Dum: No...one's...slick as Boris
No one's quick as Boris!

Dum-Dum grabs a belt off of a unicorn named Chocolate Tail, causing his pants to fall off, much to his shock while the minion ties the said thing around Boris's neck.

Boxco: No one's neck is incredibly thick as Boris!

Boris frowns as he enlarges his neck to cause the belt to break right off.

Both: For there's No one in town half as coltly
Perfect! A pure paragon!

As Boxco sing on, he and Dum-Dum jumps up and steps on Gilda and the Film-Flam brothers' heads, making them yelp and looks annoyed as they go back to Boris.

Boxco: You can ask any Gilda or Film-Film brother
And they'll tell you who's team they'd prefer to be on-er!

The trio at the table grabs Boxco and Dum-Dum and swings them around while singing.

Group: No...one...'s been like Boris
A kingpin like Boris!

Dum-Dum: No one's got a swell cleft in his chin like Boris!

Dum-Dum, as he got near Boris, scratch the red colt's chin; Boris, now cheered up, smiles as he began singing.

Boris: As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating!

Boris flexes his muscles, causing the crowd in the place to cheer wildly.

All: My, what a guy, that Boris!

Everyone in the place continue singing while clinging their glasses together.

Give five hurrahs! Give twelve hips-hips!

Boxco: Boris is the best and the rest is all drips!

Of course, as Boris stood proudly, Dum-Dum and Bosco accidentally throw their drinks right into his face, causing the folks to exclaim in shock, "Oooh! The two minions yelp in alarm. Not good!

As Boris glare angrily at his minions, Dum-Dum and Boxco hid their glasses behind themselves while chuckling sheepishly to their boss. The red bolt punches both right onto Gilda and the Film-Flam brothers' table before jumping in, causing a big fight.

All: No...one...fights like Boris
Douses lights like Boris!

As the fight continues, Boris bit Film-Flam 2 on the leg, causing him to yell while singing in pain.

Film-Flam 2: In a wrestling match, nobody bites like Boris!

Trixie, Derpy and Heartstrings: For there's no one as burly and brawny!

The three fillies giggle as Boris picks up the bench that they're on, lifting them all in the air.

Boris: As you see, I've got biceps to spare

Dum-Dum & Boxco: Not a bit of him scraggly or scrawny

Of course, the two minions yelp as Boris stop the bench right onto them, Trixie, Derpy and Heartstrings giggle as Dum-Dum and Boxco got squished in the progress.

Boris: That's right! And every last inch of me's covered with hair!

The red colt smiles proudly as he shows his chest to the cheering crowd. We now see Boris playing a chess game with Geri, frowning before knocking the whole board away.

All: No one hits like Boris
Matches wits like Boris

We now see Boris chewing on parts of the belt that he broke off earlier.

Boxco: In a spitting match, nobody spits like Boris

Boris: I'm especially good at expectorating!

Boris then shoot a huge spit wad around the bar like mad, Gilda and the Film-Flam brothers show signs of '10' to him.

Group: Ten points for Boris!

The spit goes around the place as Boxco held a spit vase, but as the spit itself went into the thing, the Pegasus pony slips, causing him to fell right into the thing. Boris is then seen juggling eggs as he continues with the song.

Boris: When I was a lad, I ate four dozen eggs every morning to help me get large

Boris eagerly throw the eggs into the air before eating them. Dum-Dum tries the same thing...but as he opens his mouth to eat the eggs that the unicorn threw into the air, they end up hitting him right on the face.

And now that I'm grown, I eat five dozen eggs! So I'm roughly the size of a barge!

As the crowd sings on, Boris uses his magic to make his gun float then open fire, making Dum-Dum and Boxco almost fall out of their chairs. The shots made by the red unicorn made holes in the Apple Cider barrel, allowing the other minions to get refills in their mugs.

All: No...one...shoots like Boris
Makes those beauts like Boris

Boris is now stomping in the tavern before sitting in his armchair.

Dum-Dum: Then goes stomping around wearing boots like Boris

Boris: I use antlers in all of my decorating!

Sure enough, Boris points to the wall near the fireplace, it has trophy heads of the animals that he killed with antlers on them.

All: My what a guy - Boris!

Boris's minions lift the chair that Boris is on and begins carrying it. Dum-Dum and Boxco yelp as they both run to avoid them; too late as the minions unknowingly throw the chair onto the two, almost crushing them.

After the song is over, the bar cheers. Boris is happy again...but he won't be fully until the red colt gets Twilight Sparkle as his wife; But how?

Suddenly as if being answered without warning, a familiar unicorn rushes into the place, looking worried as he exclaims, "Everyone, help me! Someone must help me!"

"Dusk Shine?" Pony Joe the bartender asks in surprise. What is he doing in here? Normally, Dusk never comes in here as he isn't popular in Ponyville.

"You all must help, he got her! He got her and them locked in the dungeon!"

"Wait, who?" Film-Flam 2 asks in surprise and confusion. What is Twilight's father talking about?

"Twilight, Nyx and Spike; they are prisoners!" Dusk exclaims as he tries to motion the ponies and griffin upward. "We must go; there is not a minute to lose!"

"Wait, hang on, whoa, whoa, slow down!" Boris said puzzled. "Who got Twilight, that kid and dragons of her locked up in a dungeon!"

"It's a beast, and not only that a Demon Pony, a huge monstrous Demon Pony with wolf-like teeth and red eyes!"

Most of the bar looks confused...but laughs hysterically, much to Dusk's disbelief. The unicorn is considered crazy, but definitely enough to make up a silly story like that! A Demon Pony locking Twilight Sparkle up in the dungeon, yeah, right!

"Is it a huge Demon Pony?" Film-Flam 1 asks with a smirk, playing along with Dusk's story.

"Yes, it's huge!" Dusk said with a nod.

The other Film-Flam brother put his mouth into his mug, making it looks like he has a huge mouth. The pony asks mockingly, "With long ugly teeth?"

"Even hideously ugly!"

"And sharp cruel fangs?" Gilda ask with a cruel smirk.

"Yes, yes, of course! Will you help me?" Dusk ask the other ponies (and griffin in Gilda's case) hopefully.

"Sure, all right, Dusk, we will help you out." Boris said with a wink as he signals the Film-Flam brothers to carry Dusk to the door. The male unicorn is relieved, thinking that he's going to get help.

"Really? Well, thank you, thank you so much!"

Of course, by 'help', Boris meant for the Film-Flam brothers to toss Dusk right outside. The blue unicorn yelps as he lands in a pile of snow. Looks like no one took his story seriously at all!

Back inside Pony Joe's, the Film-Flam brothers laugh cruelly as they head back to their table with the first brother remarking, "Man, that crazy old Dusk, what a loon!"

"Yep, still, he's always good for a laugh." The other Film-Flam brother remarks in agreement. Of course, what the two ponies said has gotten Boris thinking...maybe there's a way to get Twilight's hand in marriage after all.

"Crazy old, Dusk, huh? Hmmm, crazy old Dusk." Boris said in ponder. He turns to Dum-Dum and Boxco, still underneath him in his armchair, before singing once more.

Boris: Hey, you two. I'm afraid I've been thinking

Boxco: A dangerous pastime?

Boris: I know.

Boris pulls Dum-Dum and Boxco out from under the armchair as he continues singing.

But that wacky old colt is Twilight's father
And his sanity's only so-so.
Now the wheels in my head have been turning since I looked at that loony old colt!
See, I promised myself I'd be married to Twilight Sparkle
And right now, I'm evolving a plan, so...!

With a devilish smirk, Boris then whispers to his minions, the others in the pub try to listen in as the red unicorn stallion mention, "Now if I..."

"Yeah," Dum-Dum ask curiously, wondering what Boris has in mind.

"Then we..."

"No way, would she?" Boxco ask in surprise by Boris's evil plan.

"Guess." Boris said with a devilish smirk.

"Oh, we get it!" Dum-Dum and Boxco exclaims sinisterly. So that's Boris's plan to marry Twilight, they love it!

"Let's go! Boris and his minions said at once. Soon they begin dancing around while singing once more.

Three: No...one...plots like Boris

Boris: Takes cheap shots like Boris

Boxco: Plans to persecute harmless crackpots like Boris

Boris: Yes, I'm endlessly, wildly resourceful

Dum-Dum: As down in the depths you descend

Boris: I won't even be mildly remorseful

Boxco: Just as long as you get what you want in the end!

Boris: Who has brains like Boris?

Dum-Dum & Boxco: Entertains like Boris?

Three: Who can make up these endless refrains like Boris?

As the song comes to an end, the ponies stood on each side, allowing Boris, Dum-Dum and Boxco to walk between them.

All (except the three): So his marriage we soon will be celebrating!
My, what a guy! Boris!

As Boris begins his sinister plan, outside in the blowy snow, the sad Dusk looks up in despair as he pleads, "Oh, will no one help me?"

Twilight and Nyx continues sobbing as their heads remain buried in the pillows. Spike sighs, wondering if there's anything that he can do for them. Just then, a knock is heard on the guestroom door.

"Who is it?" Twilight ask puzzled as she turns to the door.

"Shucks, it's little ol' me, Applejack." A new voice, Applejack's, spoke up; must be one of the Demon Pony's servants.

"Well, come in." Nyx said with a sigh. She and Twilight got off the bed as they head over to the door and open it. The two fillies and Spike looks startled as Applejack, Apple Bloom, Sweetie and Scootaloo came in with a cart of tea.

"Got yew some tea, thought yew all needed some."

"Whoa, wait!" Spike exclaims in surprise.

"Wait a second, you're..." Twilight begins to say in shock as she backs away. The Demon Pony's servants are foals?

As Twilight backs away, she bumps into someone who exclaims, "Hey, be careful!" The purple unicorn turns and looks startled to see another foal on the bed, giggling. It is a female pink pony with dark pink curly mane and tail, bright blue eyes and two blue and one yellow balloons marking on her flank.

"Hey, who are you?" Nyx ask in surprise.

"That's Pinkie Pie!" Scootaloo exclaims with a smile, much to Twilight, Nyx and Spike's surprise further. That baby foal can talk?

"Greetings, glad to meet you! I would love to throw a party to welcome you all but the master doesn't want me to. He is just a grump since the change. I mean, duh!" Pinkie exclaims with a shrug. "At least he isn't like Boris whom you pushed in the mud puddle."

"How did you know that?" Twilight ask Pinkie in bewilderment. The young foal wasn't there when it happened...or was she?

"I read the previous chapter, duh!"

"Don't ask, Pinkie Pie is always so random." Applejack explains to Twilight with a shrug.

"Wow, whoa, how is it...why are you here and without parents around? How is that possible?" Spike asks the servants in bewilderment.

"How is it possible for me to throw parties like mad or be myself while so young? Who knows but here we are." Pinkie said with a happy smile, "Okey dokey lokey!"

"But baby foals aren't supposed to speak!" Twilight exclaims, still shocked over what she's seeing: kid and baby foals all around!

"Eh, it was some sort of spell 'dat we done been under as long as we could remember." Apple Bloom said with a shrug. "'De kiddies git turned inta babies, 'de older ponies git turned into kiddies."

"Okay, time 'ta pour 'de tea an' be careful." Applejack said with a chuckle. Scootaloo nods as she held the tea cup while Apple Bloom pours the tea into the cup. As Sweetie put sugar into the tea itself, Applejack advise, "Slowly now, sugar cube..."

"Thanks." Twilight said as Scootaloo hands the teacup to the older filly. Perhaps the purple unicorn could have some tea after what she has deal with today.

"Hey, wanna see a trick?" Sweetie ask happily before making her horn glow, causing the tea to bubble up a bit.

"Sweetie Belle," Applejack exclaims to Sweetie, causing the baby unicorn to stop and looks sheepishly. "Come on, yer big sister would throw a fit if she knew 'dat yew done 'dat!"

"Sorry."

"No problem, I love it." Nyx giggles a bit. "I hope you do it again sometimes. And I really love your mane."

"Really, thanks." Sweetie giggles as she moves one hoof through her mane. "You should've seen it when I was older."

"Twilight, 'dat was a very brave thing yew an' yer friends did, taking yer daddy's place like 'dat." Applejack said to Twilight in pity.

"Yeah, we all think so." Pinkie said with a slow nod. The servants nod a bit. Twilight, Nyx and Spike did a brave thing, taking Dusk's place even though it means that the trio will never go home again.

"But I've lost my father, my dreams and everything." Twilight said in sadness. "I mean...am I a big fool for doing so?"

"Relax. We may be prisoners but at least Dusk is still safe, right?" Spike points out to Twilight. Of course, the filly is still saddened a bit.

"Come on, mommy, you still got me." Nyx said, hugging Twilight while trying to comfort her.

"Mommy," Apple Bloom ask as she and some of the other servants got a big uncomfortable.

"She adopted me, I got no daddy; Long story."

"Oh, right, right." Scootaloo said with a chuckle of relief. For a moment, the foals were worried that it was too late to get Twilight with the master.

"Shucks, chin up, everypony. It will turn all right in 'de end, yew'll see." Applejack said gently then she begins to sing.

Applejack: I hope 'dat we'll be friends
Though we don't know yew well

Apple Bloom: If anyone can make 'de most o' living here
Then, Twilight Sparkle, it's yew

Both: An' who knows?
Yew may find
Home here, too!

Twilight smiles a bit along with Nyx and Spike. That song has just restore hope inside themselves. Maybe the trio could get used to staying here at the castle, even if they may never leave.

"Wow, you sing good, uh..." Nyx said to Apple Bloom with a smile, while trying to figure out the foal's name.

"Apple Bloom an' thanks; Yew should've checked out Sweetie when she sang. She's like an angel." Apple Bloom said, making Sweetie blush in embarrassment by the compliment.

"Awww, don't. I don't like singing in front of ponies." Sweetie said sheepishly.

"Got stage fright?" Nyx ask Sweetie curiously.

"Yeah...you should check out Scootaloo. Wait, don't. Her singing is bad enough to break glass."

"Ha ha, that's so funny that I forgot to laugh." Scootaloo remarks to her friend in annoyance.

"Whoa, nelly," Applejack exclaims in realization. "Here we done are, singing an' talking when there's dinner dat's got to be served. Better git my flank in 'de kitchen; Come on, Cutie Mark Crusaders!"

"Sure, bye!" The CMC exclaims happily as they and the other servants, minus Pinkie, follows Applejack, closing the door on their way out.

"All righty wikey, let's see what you will be wearing! Time we check out the drawers!" Pinkie giggles as she goes over to the wardrobe to look for a dress that Twilight can dress to dinner and maybe Nyx too. The filly opens one drawer and yelps upon seeing flies coming out of it before closing the thing, "Oops; Silly me!"

Pinkie opens another drawer and smiles as she takes out a green dress and a blue dress, holding out while saying, "Okay! Twilight, you and your lovely daughter would look great in these!"

"Sorry, but blue isn't my color...green maybe but..." Nyx begins to say while sighing.

"Sorry, Pinkie but we aren't going to dinner." Twilight said to Pinkie with a frown.

"Me either! For all we know, your master is going to poison us or something." Spike remarks with a frown while crossing his dragon arms.

"Awww, come on, you must! The master never poison no one; no way!" Pinkie said in concern to the frowning trio.

Just then, Caramel is heard clearing his throat as he came into the room while saying, "Dinner is now served."

In the dining room, the Demon Pony is getting impatient as he walks back and forth, waiting for Twilight to show up. Soarin' and Applejack are nearby, watching him.

"Ugh, what's taking her so long? What, is she bringing her daughter and that lizard along? I told her and maybe them without knowing, to come." The Demon Pony said with a grunt then he growls. "Why isn't that filly here yet?"

"Come on, I know yew are anxious but try 'ta be patient, okay?" Applejack insists to the Demon Pony in concern. "Twilight did done lost her father an' her freedom all in one day, 'de foal an' Spike lost the same thing as well, though wit' 'de father as a friend instead."

"Say, Be...err, master?" Soarin' spoke up in hope, "Any chance that Twilight Sparkle is the one who could break the spell? I mean, we haven't has a normal filly here in a long time and..."

"Of course I believe that she's the one! I am not a stupid mule!" The Demon Pony snaps at Soarin' in frustration then sighs. "At least, I hope that Twilight Sparkle is the one..."

"Good, then it should be simple! You fall in love with her, she falls in love with you and boom! The spell will be broken! Everyone else and I will be our regular ages again and you will be a normal Earth Pony again by midnight."

"Ain't 'dat simple, Soarin'. 'Dese things do take time." Applejack said in concern. She's right, love doesn't just happen overnight, it could take time or even longer.

"But the rose is beginning to wilt already." Soarin' said with a look of concern. He's right too. The Demon Pony's 21st birthday is drawing near every day. Unless he and Twilight falls in love with each other, the spell will be permanent.

"Awww, who am I kidding? It's no use. She is so beautiful and I'm..." The Demon Pony said with a sigh while glancing at himself. The pony is a hideous monster who captured Dusk, replaced him with Twilight, Nyx and Spike and made a demand to come to dinner too. "Well, look at me!"

The two foals look at each other, knowing that it won't be easy for Twilight to fall for the Demon Pony, especially with the way that he's acting and the way that the master himself is. Still, if Twilight herself could see past his appearance and behavior, she may see the Demon Pony as something different.

"Well, yew gotta let her see past all 'dat." Applejack explains to the Demon Pony in concern.

"I don't know how to." The Demon Pony said with a concern sigh. The master has never been Mr. Good-Mannered in the past, how would he now?

'It's best 'ta start by making yerself more presentable. Now straighten up!" Applejack barks to the Demon Pony seriously. The master nods as he did as the female Earth Pony has told him to. "Act like a gentlecolt, something I learned fro' Rarity, though not too much."

"Yes, yes. Now when Twilight come sin, give her one dashing smile. All right, come on, show her the smile!" Soarin' insists to the Demon Pony as the Pegasus Pony flew to him. The monster did, though shows one creepy looking one. "Whoa...okay, try a better smile, one that doesn't scare the life out of her. Impress her with your delightful charm."

"But try 'ta be gentle, sugar cube."

"Shower her with compliments!"

"But be sincere!" Applejack said as the Demon Pony looks back and forth to her and Soarin' in worry, until everything he groans and covers his ears to block out the noises.

"But above all..." Soarin' begins to say sternly, getting to the final part.

"You must control your temper!" Both Soarin' and Applejack exclaims at once to the Demon Pony at once. Just then the door of the dining room opens, much to the three's notice.

"Look, here she comes! Try not to panic!"

The Demon Pony smiles eagerly, preparing for Twilight, and maybe Nyx and Spike, to come into the dining room. To his confusion, and Soarin' and Applejack's surprise, neither of them came in. Instead it's a nervous Caramel.

"Err, good evening." Caramel said with a nervous gulp. The Earth Pony knows that his master isn't going to be pleased with what he's about to reveal.

"Well, where is she?" The Demon Pony asks Caramel with an impatient frown.

"Who; Oh yes, the girl; Of course, well, she, her adopted daughter and the baby dragon are in the process of...err, well, the circumstances being what they are...uh...she isn't coming."

A whole minute passes as the Demon Pony didn't respond to the answer yet. Soarin' blinks a bit as he said, "Well I think he's taking..."

"What!" The Demon Pony roars in outrage. He barges out of the dining room, Soarin', Caramel and Applejack chases him as the monster jumps from the stairs to the second floor. Upon arriving at the door to Twilight's guest room, the Demon Pony hits it in fury while yelling, "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO COME DOWN TO DINNER!"

"Forget it, I am not hungry!" Twilight's voice snaps from the guest room sternly.

"And that's right and neither am I!" Spike's voice snaps in agreement.

"I'm not going either and you can't make me! You aren't my father!" Nyx's voice snaps, much to the Demon Pony's annoyance. This is really ticking off the Demon Pony and causing the others to look down in concern.

"You all come out of there or...or...or I'll break down the door!" The Demon Pony yells at the trio in the room in anger.

"I dare you to even try it, wolf freak!"

"Uh, master?" Soarin' spoke up, making the Demon Pony glares at him in annoyance. "Not, I don't want to be wrong, but I don't think what you're doing is how you could win Twilight's affections."

"Yes, try to be a gentlecolt." Caramel pleads to the Demon Pony in worry.

"But she is being so...DIFFICULT!" The Demon Pony snarls while glaring at the door. "And her adopted daughter is worst as she is!"

"Gently, try 'ta be gente." Applejack said to the Demon Pony, making him growls a bit.

"...Twilight Sparkle, will you come down to dinner?"

"No way," Twilight's voice snaps in defiance.

This makes the Demon Pony groans as he points to the door, "Hmm?" It's as if the master is saying 'see what I mean?'.

"Ah, ah, try to be suave, sir, and genteel." Soarin' said to the Demon Pony in concern. The monstrous prince groans but he bows, trying to smile through his teeth while narrowing to the door.

"My dear, it would give me great pleasure...if you would join me for dinner. And your friends can too if they like."

Of course, the Demon Pony held his upper hooves in anger, trying to keep himself under control. Caramel said, "Don't forget to say please, sire."

The Demon Pony sighs but turns back to the door while saying, "Please."

"Forget it, no thank you!" Twilight's voice snaps stubbornly.

"Besides, you probably want to have us for dinner anyway! Forget it!" Nyx's voice snaps in agreement.

Needless to say, these refusals are the last straws that broke the pony's back, especially with the Demon Pony's patience; Outraged, he shouts out, "You two and that dragon can't stay in there forever!"

"Ha! Go ahead and watch us! We don't care!" Twilight's voice snaps stubbornly, much to the Demon Pony's further anger. He has offered her, Nyx and Spike dinner, and the monster tries to be patient, only to be refused!

"Yeah, go eat someone else, pal!" Spike's voice exclaims in agreement.

"Fine; Then go ahead and STARVE!" The Demon Pony roars out the last part, causing the others with him to cringe in fright. Turning to them, the master snaps, "If she doesn't eat with me, then she and her friends do not eat at all!"

The Demon Pony then storms away to the direction of the west wing, slamming the door behind himself very loudly, hard enough to cause a small piece of ceiling to fall off and landing right on top of Soarin'.

"Well, 'dat didn't work out as planned." Applejack said with a sigh as Soarin' use his wings to brush off the pieces of the ceiling that fell onto himself; Not good. Twilight and her group won't come down to dinner, though who could blame them after what happened before?

"Soarin', I want you to stay at the door and inform me of any changes." Caramel said to Soarin' sternly. The Earth Pony wants to know if Twilight, Nyx and/or Spike were to come out or if the girl decides to have dinner with the master after all.

"No problem, you can count on me, Caramel!" Soarin' said with a salute. The Pegasus Pony then begins flying walk and forth like a guard as Caramel and Applejack took their leave to head back downstairs.

"Come on, may as well get cleaning up downstairs. There won't be any dinner tonight apparently."

In the west wing, the Demon Pony flew the door open and stomps over to his dressing room where the rose is at, starting to wilt under the glass used to cover the enchanted flower. The monster was hoping to at least get Twilight's love and get her to see past his appearance, as well as behavior, but how could he if that purple unicorn won't give him a chance to do so?

"Ugh, I ask her nicely but she refuses. What does that filly want me to do? Beg like a dog?" The Demon Pony fumes furiously. He grabs the magic mirror from the dressing table and spoke to it, "Show me the filly!"

Soon a vision begins to appear in the mirror. The Demon Pony now sees an upset Twilight on her bed with Nyx, Spike and Pinkie, the last one is trying to calm her down and get the purple unicorn to see reason.

"Awww, come on. Don't be a super-meanie grumpy pants; Give the master a chance." Pinkie said to Twilight with a smile. "Who knows? We could make a party out of it!"

"Ha! Did your master give grandpa a chance? Forget it!" Nyx exclaims to Pinkie angrily.

"Right, I wouldn't give him a chance, he never let me say goodbye to my father!" Twilight snaps angrily in agreement. After the Demon Pony wouldn't give her, Nyx and Spike the opportunity to say goodbye to Dusk before, Twilight don't want to give him a chance!

"Okay, maybe he didn't let you say goodbye to your daddy, but the master isn't so bad! You just got to know him better." Pinkie said to Twilight with a concerned smile.

"Forget it, I don't want to get to know him! Heck, I don't even want anything to do with him! Not after what he has done to my father!"

The Demon Pony looks shocked and sad at the same time. He sighs in sadness while covering the mirror while saying, "Who am I kidding? There's no way that I will win her love. She will never see more than anything..." The Demon Pony puts his mirror down while adding, "...but a monster."

A rose petal fell from the rose, landing on the part of the dressing table that is covered with glass. The Demon Pony looks away in sadness while saying, "It's hopeless..."

Poor Demon Pony; How can he win Twilight's heart when she's upset with him as well as the way that he himself is acting? Not to mention Boris has a wicked plan in store to get the filly. In the next chapter, the newcomers get hungry and of course the servants entertain them despite the master's orders. Read, review and suggest.

Gilda is a griffin and former friend of Rainbow Dash who appeared in one episode of the show so far. The Film-Flam brothers didn't appear yet, but they will in an upcoming episode.

Chapter 5: Dinner for Three

As snow fell outside the castle, all appears to be quiet inside the castle right now. No one appears to be doing much of anything since Twilight refuses to leave her room.

However the guest room door opens as Nyx peeks out, looking around while saying quietly, "All right, mommy; the coast is clear. That Demon Pony is nowhere to be seen.

Twilight leaves the room with Nyx and Spike as they quietly head down the hall. Since the Demon Pony is elsewhere, may as well do some exploration of the castle...and maybe get some food in spite of what they insist before.

As Twilight's group passes a curtain, none of them can hear Rainbow's voice giggle, "Oh man, no!"

"Oh yes, Dashie." Soarin''s voice remark with a chucle.

"Oh, no way," Rainbow laughs as Soarin' chases her out of the curtain. The two were in there, having a certain type of fun while making out. Apparently, the male Pegasus pony has forgotten that he is supposed to be watching the guest room door.

"Oh yes, Dashie." Soarin' chuckles as he grabs Rainbow, dipping the female Pegasus pony while holding her.

"Come on, I've been 'burned' by you before, in a figure of speech; Ha ha ha ha!"

Soarin' smirks as he held Rainbow in his upper hooves. But before things could get seriously, Soarin' looks up and saw Twilight, Nyx and Spike going around the corner, much to his own alarm.

"Oh no, Twilight and her friends are out of their room!" Soarin' exclaims frantically, causing him to accidentally let go of Rainbow as she fell to the floor with a yelp, "Oh, sorry, Dashie."

As Twilight's group goes downstairs, Nyx sniffs a bit and smiles while saying, "I smell food. Hey, mommy, I know that creep doesn't want us to eat without him but..."

"Yes, what he doesn't know won't hurt him." Twilight said playfully as she, Nyx and Spike head to the direction of the kitchen. There must be something to eat that the foal servants haven't put away yet.

In the kitchen, Applejack was putting the CMC in cradles for baby foals near full ones with other baby foals. The Earth Pony said, "All right, all o' yew, 'inta bed wit' 'de other baby ponies."

"But we ain't sleepy." Apple Bloom protests to Applejack with a bit of a yawn.

"Sure yew are..."

"No we ain't..." Sweetie said tiredly but eventually she, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo fell asleep. Applejack giggles and smiles. Her sister and her friends are just angels when they're sleeping.

"Oh, all this hard work; I kept my eye out on the latest fashion and make the best reviews, especially on Rarity's; I even do some cooking on the side and slave all day to work on this meal. And what happened?" A voice complains. Applejack turns to see a young greenish bluish gray colt foal with a mixture of light gray and light greenish bluish gray mane, blue eyes, purple sunglasses and a paper fan cutie mark named Hoity-Toity, the castle's chef, groaning over the meal that he made for dinner. "I've made an amazing masterpiece and it's going to be wasted!"

"Aww, shucks, don't be like 'dat, Hoity Toity." Applejack said with a sigh as she put a teapot away. "It has been a long night fer all o' us. We all were disappointed by what happened."

"Well I think she's just being stubborn as a mule." Caramel snaps as he throws a napkin into the cupboard. "The master did ask nicely and offered her and her friends dinner."

"Look at it fro' her point of view, Caramel. 'De master made her prisoner. Not 'ta mention what he did 'ta her father. She has 'de right 'ta be mad."

"Hey, she volunteered to stay to take her father's place. And her friends chose to stay."

"Well, not 'ta bad-mouth 'de master but no way in Equestria would 'dat stubborn master o' ours would git anywhere if he doesn't stop being angry." Applejack said with a sigh, not noticing two familiar fillies and a familiar dragon entering the kitchen. "If 'de master does not control 'dat there temper o' his, he would never break 'de..."

"Splendid to see you all up and about at this hour," Caramel exclaims in alarm as he cut Applejack off upon seeing Twilight, Nyx and Spike coming into the kitchen. The Earth Pony can't let the trio know about the spell or the purple unicorn would never be able to break it.

"Hi there; Sorry if we came in unannounced," Twilight said with a smile.

"Oh, no problem, no problem at all."

"Uh, what were you talking about? Break what?" Nyx ask Caramel curiously, leaning her head down to one side in curiosity.

"Don't worry, there's nothing to be worried about." Caramel said nervously. He put one hoof into Twilight's while saying, "Ahem, my name is Caramel, the head of the household." Of course, he yelps as two familiar Pegasus ponies flew in front of him, the male one held the purple unicorn's hoof print. Caramel rolls his eyes while saying, "And these two are Soarin' and his girlfriend Rainbow Dash."

"Hey, a great pleasure in meeting you all." Soarin' said as he kisses Twilight on one of her upper hooves, "Just to be polite."

"Yeah, I know, Soarin'." Rainbow said with a chuckle before turning to the guests. "I know you all like it here so far. Having you trio here are 20% cooler!"

"Yeah, at least 20% cooler if you ignore what we have been through lately." Spike remarks with a shrug. What could be 20% cooler than going through the Demon Pony's bad temper problems?

"Yes, yes, we're ignoring that." Caramel said as he shoves Soarin' and Rainbow away from Twilight. The Earth Pony glares at them as he pushes the duo away while speaking to Twilight, Nyx and Spike, "Well then, if there's anything that we can do...for you. Just ask."

Of course, Soarin' then bit Caramel on the tail, causing him to yelp in pain before feeling it in alarm. That really hurts big time!

"Well...Nyx, Spike and I are kinda hungry." Twilight said to the foals with a thoughtful look.

"Yeah; I didn't eat much of anything before coming to this castle." Nyx said with a nod. "I'm hungry as...well...as a pony; Ha ha ha!"

"Wait, yew are; Yeehaw," Applejack exclaims excitedly. Forget the Demon Pony's orders, time to feed her new friends now! Turning to the other servants, she exclaims eagerly, "Yew ponies hear 'dat; 'Dey are honest! Come on, everypony, get dinner ready!" The kitchen staff eagerly gets to work as Hoity turns the stove on while smiling. His masterpiece is going to be served. "Yeah, git 'ta work! Come on!

"Come on, let's make this meal 20% cooler and 20% tastier!" Rainbow exclaims eagerly.

"Wait, hang on! Don't forget what the master said!" Caramel whispers to the other staff in concern. The Demon Pony has given a strict order that Twilight, Nyx and Spike are not to eat anything without him!

"Awww, horsefeathers," Applejack snaps to Caramel in defiance. "I ain't leaving these fillies an' their baby dragon hungry!"

"Fine, all right! They will each have a glass of water, crust of bread and then..."

"Caramel, I'm surprised at you!" Soarin' scolds Caramel with a frown. Water and a crust of bread aren't suitable for Twilight, Nyx and Spike! Not a chance! "Don't forget, they are not our prisoners, they are our guests! We should at least make them feel welcome here."

"Well, well, looks like everyone is not acting like the grumpy Demon Pony." Spike said with a chuckle. Soarin' smiles as he hold Twilight's hoof and lead her away.

"Come on, walk this way.

"If I walk that way, I would need powder for all of my hooves." Nyx jokes, making Twilight, Spike and some of the servants laugh at that little joke.

"Well, try to keep it down, okay?" Caramel asks in concern as he follow the group leaving the kitchen. "If the master finds out what we're doing, we would be lucky to age normally!"

"Sure, why not?" Soarin' ask with a chuckle as he is the last one to leave the kitchen. "But...what's dinner without a bit of...music?"

Soarin' quickly leaves the kitchen, causing the door to swing back at Caramel and hitting the foal, sending him flying into a pan that is making a cake. The Earth Pony screams in shock, "Music?"

In the dining room, Soarin' got onto the table as a spotlight appears on him. As Twilight, Nyx and Spike watch, the Pegasus pony grins as he announces, "Good evening, fillies and colts! I am giving the deepest pleasure and greatest pride that I welcome you all tonight."

Rainbow tosses a hat and stick to Soarin' before Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, both are awake once more, helps Twilight, Nyx and Spike into their seats. A performance is about to begin.

"Now I invite you all to relax, let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents...your dinner." Soarin' said with a nod as a meal is put nearby himself. Twilight, Nyx and Spike grin as the song begin.

A foal servant each put a napkin around Twilight, Nyx and Spike though they just put the things on their laps, making the said foals frown.

Caramel chose this time to poke his head out of a huge pie that is being passed to the guests but yelps Soarin' sets it and him on fire. Luckily, the young Earth Pony was only charred black so he ends up fainting instead.

We'll prepare and serve with flair
A culinary cabaret!

A few foals are lining up on the edge of a huge bowl that they dive into as if they themselves were singing.

As the foals swim athletically in the bowl, a huge gusher came out, showing Soarin' juggling as he is singing.

Caramel, who got out of the pie and cleans himself off, rush over in hopes to try to quiet every one of the foals before the Demon Pony could hear them. As he tries to drag Pinkie away, a spotlight is fixed on him, stunning the foal as he is forced to let the baby filly away.

Soarin': Life is so unnerving
For a servant who's not serving

Caramel smile embarrassingly as he tries to leave, only to grabbed by Soarin' who hold him while his wings is almost squishing the foal.

He's not whole without a soul to wait upon.

"Will you get off?" Caramel hiss to Soarin' in annoyance as he tries to get free of the Pegasus pony's hold to no prevail.

Ah, those good old days when we were useful
Suddenly, those gold ol' days are gone

We see snow being poured onto Caramel, though it is actually flour being poured by Scootaloo and the other foal Pegasus ponies. This causes Caramel himself to sigh in annoyance.

A few years, things got rusty
Needed so much more than dusting
We needed exercise-a chance to use our skills

Caramel kept on getting freed but when Soarin' lets him go by accident, the Earth Pony is send flying into some jello, getting him stuck there...literally.

Most days, we just lay around the castle

Soarin' then smirks as he prepares to jump right onto a spoon that is in the jello itself.

Flabby, fat and lazy
You walked in and ups-a-daisy!

On the word 'daisy', Soarin' eagerly jumps onto the spoon, causing Caramel to go flying right out of it, causing the Earth Pony to scream. In the kitchen, Applejack and Sweetie happily help the staff while they sang as both are dancing.

Applejack: It's guests, it's guests
Sake's alive, well I'll blessed!
Wine's been poured an' thank 'de Lord
I've had 'de napkins freshly pressed

Sweetie: With dessert, they'll want tea,
And my dear, that's fine with me!
While the ponies do their soft shoeing,
The tea'll be bubbling, it'll be brewing!

As the performance continues, Applejack yelps upon seeing a spot right on the teapot.

Applejack: It'll get warm, piping hot
Heaven's sake, is 'dat a spot?
Clean it up! We want de company impressed!

The young Earth Ponies quickly clean the teapot before putting it into the cart. Applejack and the CMC (Sweetie and Scootaloo rejoin Apple Bloom in the kitchen) begins pushing it right out of the room.

Once in the dining room, the four stops near Twilight as Sweetie is pouring tea for the smiling purple unicorn.

Twllight use her magic to mix the sugar in the tea before the smiling Apple Bloom hands the cups over to the smiling purple unicorn and Nyx.

"Okay, enough already, I demand that you stop..." Caramel exclaims, trying to stop the performance but the Earth Pony saw Rainbow and a few ponies rushing to him, causing Caramel to scream as he got out of the way in time. The performance continues on like mad.

Now the foals did a chorus line before some of them move aside as if introducing someone.

One all of the foals move aside, there's Soarin' as he hold his stick while grinning.

Soarin' and Ponies: Course by course!

Soarin' put his hat on as the ponies did a chorus line once more.

One by one!
Till you shout, "Enough, I'm done!"

The guests looks excited as a chandelier came down from the ceiling, showing a few more foal servants on it five feet above the table, dancing while doing a chorus line.

Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest
Tonight you'll prop your feet up!
But for now, let's eat up!

Twilight, Nyx and Spike laughs as they dance in their seats with the servants; Caramel was worried but finally begin to stop doing so, looking at the excitement and smile as he begin singing and dancing along as well.

As the song come to a big close, Caramel was dancing like one big fool until Soarin' push him out of the way for the finishing pose. Once all is done, the foal servants took a bow as the newcomers applaud for them.

"That is amazing, exciting!" Nyx exclaims eagerly.

"That was a wonderful show!" Twilight giggles a bit. "You all did so well!"

"Yes, thank you, thank you so much. Yes, the show is wonderful, isn't it?" Caramel asks with a chuckle. Luckily, the Demon Pony doesn't seem to hear the commotion. The Earth Pony looks at the clock nearby, seeing that it's now 9 o'clock. "Wow, is it that time already? Well, we're done; it's off to bed with all of you."

"What? Come on, I can't go to bed now! I'm too excited!" Spike protests to Caramel with a smile.

"Yeah, we can't go to bed now, especially in an enchanted place like this!" Twilight giggles to Caramel as Nyx nods in agreement. After all, in an enchanted castle like this one, who could sleep yet?

"Err, wait, enchanted? Who said anything about this castle being enchanted?" Caramel asks nervously as a baby foal rushes by. Turning to Soarin', he points accusingly while snapping, "It was you, wasn't it you loud mouth?"

The two got into a struggle though Nyx giggles while saying, "Relax, mommy figure that one out herself." Soarin' and Caramel stop short of shoving their hooves into each other's mouth. The two stood up and sheepishly brush themselves off.

"Say, is it all right that we get a tour around here?" Twilight ask Soarin' and Caramel hopefully. "After all, since we're going to spend the rest of our lives here, we want to know this play very well."

"Sure, no problem," Soarin' exclaims with a smile. The Pegasus pony will be happy to show Twilight, her adopted daughter and Spike around the castle.

"Wait, wait, not a good idea, Soarin'!" Caramel protests as he grabs Soarin' and whispers in concern in his ear. "We can't let these three go into certain places...if you know what I mean." The Earth Pony of course is referring to the west wing that the Demon Pony has forbidden Twilight, Nyx and Spike from going into earlier.

"What? You mean that certain room that your master lives in?" Spike asks Caramel curiously.

"Shhh! Quiet, dragon!"

"Oh, I see..." Soarin' said while nodding with Caramel. After all, the last thing that they want is for Twilight to get into trouble for poking around in their master's room, right?

"Well, how about you show us around, Caramel?" Twilight ask Caramel with a smirk. "My daughter and I figure that a smart, handsome colt like you would know everything there is about this place, right?"

"Yeah, please." Nyx said, giving Caramel a puppy dog look. The Earth Pony blushes in embarrassment, touched by the compliments and tempted by the puppy eyes. Both are hard to resist.

"Well, actually, err, well..." Caramel said with an embarrassed blush, then he smiles stupidly in a goofy like way. "Well, yeah...I do..."

Wow, what a good performance, eh? In the next chapter, Soarin' and Caramel takes Twilight's group for a tour, only for the three to go into the west wing, a place that the Demon Pony has forbidden them to go into. When the monster discovers them, his rage causes them all to run away from the castle.

Nyx: That isn't good.

Me: Right especially when the trio ran into the same group of Houndoom that tries to attack Dusk before! Will they survive and will help arrives in time? Read, review and suggest.

Chapter 6: The Demon Pony's Redemption

The Demon Pony sighs as he prepares to head to the guest room door with a plate of food in his paws. The transformed prince has thought about what he had did, acting like a bully and losing his temper before. Perhaps the Demon Pony will try to ask Twilight again, even apologizing and asking nicely as well as offering her a meal in the progress.

"Okay...I can do this. I would try not to lose my temper like the last time. Right, here goes." The Demon Pony said with a nod.

The Demon Pony knocks on the door, expecting an answer from Twilight. But when none came, the wolf-like creature knocks again, but still no respond. The Demon Pony sighs in sadness.

"Why isn't she answering?" The Demon Pony asks as he prepares to head back to the West Wing.

But then the Demon Pony heard voices, hiding in time and saw Twilight, Nyx and Spike with Soarin', Caramel and Winona. The master felt disappointed. The purple unicorn probably was fed already but maybe she came down here to get a tour from his servants.

"Now as you notice the unusual inverted archways, you will see that this is of curse another example of late, new, classic Baroque period." Caramel, like a tour guide, explains eagerly as he shows Twilight, Nyx and Spike around. Not of them notice that the suits of armors (more Pegasus guards transformed) turn to look at the purple unicorn. "And of course, as I always say...if it's not 'Baroque', don't fix it!"

Caramel laughs at his own corny joke while Spike roll his eyes while remarking, "No offense, but that joke really...well, it needs work." The baby dragon heads off to follow Twilight, Nyx, Soarin' and Winona.

Of course, Caramel soon notices that the Pegasus guards are looking at Twilight, causing him to turn around and snap sternly, "As you were!" The armor ponies quickly turn away, making Twilight and Nyx laughs a bit.

"Wow, this is so beautiful and cool, Soarin'. I got to admit, this castle is one awesome place to be here." Nyx said with a giggle. The Demon Pony in hiding smiles a bit.

"Right, I agree, I love it here so far." Twilight said in agreement. The Demon Pony was about to come out of hiding when the mare frowns as she snaps, "If only that thick-headed monster you called 'master' isn't around."

"Yeah, why you have that bully as a master, I would never know."

As the group walks off to follow Caramel to resume the tour, the Demon Pony came out of hiding place, looking shocked and upset. He was hoping to show Twilight how much of a gentlemen he is...only to witness her distaste to him.

"Ugh, act like a gentlecolt, my hoof. I'm an idiotic fool." The Demon Pony growls as he storms off. Perhaps it's not worth trying to win Twilight's heart after all...

"Now then, if I will draw your attention to the flying buttresses above the..." Caramel begins to speak while going down another hallway. But the Earth Pony soon stops as he realize that Twilight, Nyx and Spike are gone, "Uh, Twilight, Nyx, Spike?"

Soarin' and Caramel looks around. Winona suddenly bark, getting the two foals' attentions as the trio saw an alarming sight: Twilight, Nyx and Spike are walking up a set of stairs...and are heading to the west wing, the same area that the Demon Pony has forbid them all from going to!

"Weird. What's up here?" Nyx ask curiously. Twilight, curious herself, is heading on the steps with her adopted daughter and Spike behind here.

Unknown to the trio, the Demon Pony, still upset over Twilight's words earlier, was on his way to the west wing, when he notices her, Nyx and Spike on the steps, making him gasp in shock.

"Oh no, what are they doing? Those three are heading to the west wing! They are not supposed to be there! Twilight, her daughter or that dragon could find something that they weren't supposed to...or worst, they could break the rose!" The Demon Pony said to himself in silence and horror. If the enchanted rose were to get destroyed by any way, then the spell will be permanent!

The Demon Pony cannot let that happen, he has to cut Twilight's group off! Quickly he heads off to another direction to the west wing to beat them there in time. Meanwhile, the purple unicorn, Nyx and Spike were almost up the stairs, not noticing the Demon Pony himself, when Soarin', Caramel and Winona appears, blocking their path while smiling nervously.

"Say, what's up there?" Twilight ask the two foal servants curiously. "My daughter and I want to take a closer look."

"Uh, what there? Why, it's nothing, absolutely nothing at all." Caramel said nervously while nudging Soarin' to make him nod in agreement. "You don't have to bother with the west wing. Nothing interesting there; the place is dusty, dull and very boring."

"Ah ha! So that's the west wing." Nyx said with a smirk while glancing at the west wing, making Caramel yelp in alarm. Not good, he went and told the guests!

"Oh, good work," Soarin' remarks to Caramel sarcastically. Now that the Earth Pony has mentioned where the west wing is, Twilight would definitely want to go up there and find something that could anger the Demon Pony further.

"Hmmm...I wonder what he's hiding up there." Twilight said thoughtfully as she walks up the stairs, only for the two servants and the puppy to block her once more.

"Oh, errr, nothing; the master isn't hiding anything at all." Soarin' said nervously.

"Well...if he is hiding nothing..." Spike begins to say with a sigh.

"Then it wouldn't be forbidden." Twilight said with a devilish smirk. She and Nyx prepares to head up the stairs, only for the servants and the puppy to block them once more. "Oh come on!"

"Let us up there, I want to see what the Demon Pony got in his west wing!" Nyx exclaims to Caramel and Soarin' with a pouty look.

"Come on, maybe you all like to see something else, right?" Caramel asks with a slight chuckle. "We got interesting tapestries that date all the way back to..."

"Maybe later," Twilight said as she and Nyx walk past the two, heading upstairs once more. Spike hesitate going, worried that he and the fillies may end up upsetting the Demon Pony. Whatever is in the west wing, the monster doesn't want his 'guests' to know at all.

Soarin' and Caramel blocks Twilight and Nyx's path again as the foal Pegasus pony insist, "Maybe you would like to see the gardens...or the library! Yes, we got a library!"

"Wait, you guys have a library?" Twilight ask Soarin' and Caramel in interest. This make the two servants sigh in relief. Finally, something to keep her and maybe Nyx's interest off the west wing; Everyone dodge a bullet there!

"Of course, yes, yes! We do!" Caramel exclaims with a smile.

"We got a lot of books." Soarin' said as he, Caramel and Winona begins to lead Twilight's group away from the west wing.

"Gads of books!"

"Mountains of books!"

Of course, have the two servants and the puppy were to look back, they would've seen Twilight and Nyx stopping and glance back at the west wing. Curiosity is overtaking the two fillies once. They got to see what the Demon Pony is hiding up there.

Twilight and Nyx head upstairs, the worried Spike follows them as Soarin', Caramel (both arm-in-arm) and Winona is on their way to the library, unaware of what happened.

"Forests of books," Caramel exclaims with a smile.

"Cascades..." Soarin' said eagerly.

"Of books!"

"Swamps of books!"

"Why we got books as far as the eye can see, more than you would be able to see in a lifetime!" Caramel continues on, unaware of Twilight's group's absence. "There are books on every subject ever studied by every great author who wrote on paper..."

Once on top of the stairs, Twilight and Nyx prepares to head to the west wing, much to Spike's horror as he protest, "What! Are you crazy? That Demon Pony told us not to go in there!"

"Which is why we're going; He's hiding something. And I want to know what." Twilight said to Spike in determination. Whatever the Demon Pony is hiding, the trio (well, mostly the fillies) is going to find out what that is.

"B-b-but what he finds out we've been in the west wing?" The baby dragon notices that Twilight and Nyx are heading into the west wing, causing him to follow. Spike moans, "That won't end well."

Twilight's group continues going through a dark corridor, Spike is shivering a bit as Twilight herself and Nyx looks around. This place looks like a disaster, not been clean in years. As the group goes by broken statues, they went by a broken mirror and reach the end of the corridor.

Twilight's group saw a door that is scratched a lot with a door handle that has a monster face that looks at them as if it is alive and saying 'Stay away or else'. For a moment, the older mare thought about going back, remembering the Demon Pony's warning and is worried of what she would find inside...but curiosity overtook her again. The master of this castle is indeed hiding something

"Come on." Twilight whispers as she took a deep breath and opens the door, going into the room with Nyx and Spike. Their eyes widened as they saw what appears to be a bedroom which is a big mess.

"So the Demon Pony's secret is that his room is a mess?" Spike asks puzzled. "Honestly, having a dirty room is nothing to be ashamed about."

"Yeah, it's more messy than my own room back home." Nyx adds then she, Twilight and Spike yelps as they see carcasses of dead animals near the broken furniture, "Eep. I hate to see what he did to those."

The group wanders around, Twilight yelps as she bumps into a table that the filly grabs to keep it from falling in time. The mare looks around...then turns around and gasps upon seeing something that causes Nyx and Spike to turn around.

Twilight is looking at a portrait that has been slashed with four deep slashes, mostly on the face and where the cutie mark should be. It looks like that of a brown coated colt with a spiky like brown mane, green eyes, a long tail and a red collar.

Twilight looks puzzled. Those eyes of the colt in the portrait look familiar to her but where has she seem before? And in a different color too? The purple unicorn begins to use her magic to move up the slash parts of the portrait to lift them to get a closer look...

But then the trio notices something on a dressing table nearby: a shimmer of light. They came to it and saw some sort of rose under glass. Nyx smiles while saying, "Wow, a rose...any chance that we..."

Twilight uses her magic to remove the glass and leans forward to touch the rose...when a familiar voice yells out, "DON'T TOUCH THAT!" She, Nyx and Spike gasps in alarm as they saw the Demon Pony, glaring angrily at them while roaring.

Twilight's group got out of the way as the Demon Pony put the glass back over the rose. He turns in outrage at the ones who trespass here in the West Wing while demanding, "Why did you all come here?"

"Sorry. We didn't mean to..." Twilight begins to say to the Demon Pony nervously.

"I told you all to never come here!"

"We're sorry, we didn't mean to!" Nyx protests to the Demon Pony in terror.

"Do you realize what you almost have done? GET OUT!" The Demon Pony roars in fury. The trio yelps in fright as the angry monster knocks over a few empty tables while roaring in fury. Spike run as the girls prepares to follow, but Nyx screams as the Demon Pony grabs her. "You all have no right to be here! GET OUT!"

"Let go of me, you're hurting Nyx!" Twilight protests to the furry pony in horror. The Demon Pony roars as he throws the former Nightmare Moon right into some stuff.

Twilight and Spike stops in their tracks and gasps as they see the groaning Nyx getting out of the stuff, barely. They came over to help her, glaring furiously at the Demon Pony who calms down and realize, to his shock and regret, what he had done.

"I'm sorry, please, let me..." The Demon Pony said in worry as he tries to help Nyx up.

"Stay away from my daughter!" Twilight hiss furiously as she uses her magic to move a broken table to block the monster's way. Nyx crawls away to her adopted mother who helps her up with Spike glaring angrily at the Demon Pony, especially with how he has treated the poor filly. "Fine, we're leaving, and forget our promise; we are never staying or coming back, you monster!"

Twilight, putting Nyx on her back, run out of the room with Spike, the Demon Pony protests, "Wait, come back, no! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt her or frighten you all!" The former prince then became more of grief as he turns away. "You all don't understand..."

The Demon Pony is on the verge. He has lost his temper and scare them all, almost hurting poor Nyx in the progress. Any chance that the prince wanted to have with Twilight is gone. The Demon Pony bows his head, putting one paw onto his face while saying, "There is so little of me left...so little..." He then begins to sing.

Demon Pony: And in my twisted face...
There's not the slightest trace
Of anything that even hints at kindness
And in my tortured shape
No comfort, no escape

I see, but deep within is utter blindness
Hopeless
As my dream dies
As the time flies
Love's a lost illusion
Helpless
Unforgiven
Cold and driven
To this sad conclusion

The sad Demon Pony look at himself in a broken mirror, sighing in sadness.

No beauty could move me
No goodness improve me
No power on earth, if I can't love her
No passion could reach me
No lesson could teach me
How I could have loved her and make her love me too
If I can't love her, then who?

The Demon Pony glances at the portrait that Twilight was looking at it. Now because of his recent behavior, the poor pony will never return to what he once was.

Long ago I should have seen
All the things I could have been
Careless and unthinking I moved onward

The Demon Pony now go outside and climbs up to the castle's top spire, standing on top while singing in powerful tone of voice.

No pain could be deeper

Twilight's group rush downstairs in the foyer and right past the shocked Soarin', Caramel and Winona, the three have came looking for them. The Pegasus protests, "Wait, come back! Where are you going?"

"Forget the promise, we ain't staying in here another minute!" Spike exclaims as Twilight opens the door, causing snow to blow into the castle.

"That master is a monster and he always will be!" Twilight exclaims angrily.

"Wait, please, no!" Caramel protests in horror. Unfortunately, it's too last as the trio closes the door behind themselves. The servants look down in sadness; Looks like it's all over.

The group rush through the forest, with Nyx and Spike on Twilight's back. Looks like it's a clear escape...but then the trio stops as the baby dragon screams, "Whoa, not cool!"

The group gasps as a group of hungry snarling Houndoom, the same ones who chased Houndoom, appear. Outnumbered and defenseless (even with Twilight and Nyx's magic), the trio quickly run off with the Pokemon in hot pursuit.

Twilight gallops one side to another, causing some of the Houndoom to hit the tree. Spike kicks one into a tree. The trio reaches an icy pond that broke upon them touching it. The Houndoom jumps in after them and the heroes escape after one swim. Unfortunately, Twilight's group didn't go too far as more Houndoom surround them, startling the purple unicorn to the point of knocking her riders off of her back.

"Whoa, Twilight," Spike exclaims as he fell into some branches, getting trapped there.

The Houndoom prepares to attack Spike but Twilight and Nyx quickly use their magic to get some sticks and hit them back. They did a good job until one of the Pokemon snaps their sticks in half with their jaws. Twilight screams as she and Nyx got knocked to the snowy ground, one of the Houndoom grabs the purple unicorn by her mane, tugging on it and causing her to scream again.

One Houndoom prepares to lunge at Twilight; the purple unicorn prepares herself for what is going to be her own demise...but when the Pokemon jumps at her, something surprising happened: a familiar monster appears and grabs the Houndoom, roaring in its face before tossing the Pokemon.

Twilight, Nyx and Spike watch as the Houndoom glares at the Demon Pony who stood protectively over them; Soon a fight breaks out as the Pokemon attack him, the monster knock and hit them away. Some of those monsters were able to bite inside one arm hard and some of him, causing the Demon Pony to roar in pain though he was able to toss one of them into a tree, knocking the Houndoom out.

Pretty soon, the Houndoom yelps as they run out, eventually no match for the Demon Pony. Once those Pokemon are gone, he stood protectively in front of Twilight, she look at him as he look back in despair and bad shape...before the Demon pony collapsed right onto the snow.

Nyx, during this time, got Spike free from the branches. Twilight glances down a road, it's a free one, no one is stopping her and her group from taking it. But something stops her. Twilight looks back at the Demon Pony who lifts his head out of the snow, giving her a sad look and gave out tears while neighing in sadness.

Twilight then feel something: sadness for the Demon Pony. She couldn't leave him out here, the poor thing would die. Spike, noticing that his friend is still standing there while looking at the monster, ask, "What are you waiting for? Let's go."

"We can't leave him." Twilight said, much to Spike's shock.

"What! After the way he treated us?"

"He saved us!"

"He probably followed us to capture you so that he can lock you back up in the tower!" Spike protests to Twilight in worry. But even Nyx has to agree, it wouldn't be right to leave the Demon Pony out here to die like this.

"We can't just leave him here to die. We have to help him." Twilight insists to Spike, making him groan and sighs a bit.

"Okay. We'll take him back to his castle. Then we go straight home."

Spike and Nyx were able to help Twilight put the Demon Pony on her back then the group begins their trek back to the castle. The little adopted daughter looks at the rescuer in pity. Even though he almost hurt her before, she knew deep down that it isn't his fault. He was upset over their intrusion in the west wing.

"I hope he recovers." Nyx mumbles then groaning a bit. "I need some help myself..."

Once back at the castle, the servants got to work. Applejack pours water into a bowl while Apple Bloom heats the thing up. Nyx was treated to, luckily all she got was scratches and bruises though she did get a few bandages and some ice; Nothing major of course.

Twilight user her magic to take the towel out of the water and wrings it. She turns to the Demon Pony who is licking at his wounds literally. The purple unicorn said in concern, "Hey, now. Don't do that."

The Demon Pony growls at Twilight. The others back away slowly while Spike say, "Twilight, he looks upset. Be careful."

"Now hold still..."

Twilight tries to reach the wound, the only one on the Demon Pony, as the furry pony tries to keep it away but eventually the purple unicorn was able to put the wet towel right onto the wound. As a result, the Demon Pony roars in pain from the string that happen, so loudly that everyone but him and Twilight hid.

"That hurts!" The Demon Pony yells in Twilight's face angrily.

"Well, excuse me! But if you would've held still, then it wouldn't hurt as much!" Twilight snaps to the Demon Pony in annoyance.

"Well, excuse me! But if you, your daughter and that baby dragon hadn't run off, this wouldn't have happened!"

"If you hadn't frightened us and almost hurt Nyx, we wouldn't have to run away!"

The Demon Pony was about to speak up but stops a bit. Twilight's right, he had scared her, Nyx and Spike and almost hurt the little alicorn. The former prince feels bad and ashamed of himself for doing so, all because of his bad temper and fury.

Still, the Demon Pony isn't about to let Twilight win this argument. He then snaps, though in a low tone of voice, "Well...you all shouldn't have been in the west wing in the first place!"

"You should at least learn to control your temper!" Twilight snaps to the Demon Pony. The others got out of their hiding places, looking concerned. What will their happen now? The two quarreling ponies look at each other as their eyes dropped. "Now try to hold still, okay? This may sting a little."

The Demon Pony cringes as he turns his head away, closing his eyes tightly and preparing himself for the sting. As Twilight cleans the wound with the towel, she then adds softly, "Oh...and thank you...for saving us."

The Demon Pony opens his eyes, turning to her in surprise. She has thanked him for saving her, Nyx and Spike. For the first time ever, he felt something...warm inside. The others came out of hiding, smiling at the fact that he isn't yelling or acting violently for once.

"You're welcome." The Demon Pony said calmly then he turns to Nyx. "And Nyx...I'm sorry...for almost hurting you."

"It's only a few scratches and bruises. I'm just relieved that you're okay." Nyx said as she got onto the chair that the Demon Pony and sat near him, cuddling to the furry pony like a daughter would to a father.

The Demon Pony blinks and smiles warmly; Looks like this is a new start for him and Twilight.

Author's note
Well, thanks to the Demon Pony saving Twilight, Nyx and Spike, they are grateful and he is redeem in front of their eyes. What will happen now? In the next chapter, Boris reveals his plan for Twilight's hoof to Cutler Beckett, the owner of the local insane asylum, which involves Dusk Shine.

Twilight: That isn't good.

Me: Meanwhile back at the castle, relationships between the Demon Pony and Twilight got better, especially with the song 'Something There'.

Some of the stuff in this chapter came from the musical, though I change some of it.

Chapter 7: An Improved Relationship

It is nighttime as most of Ponyville is closed until tomorrow. Of course, despite the fact that Pony Joe's is also closed, some activity is happening in there right now.

As a lamp glows through the dark tavern, Boris, Dum-Dum and Boxco are there, having a conversion with a stallion with a back coat, blue eyes, and a brown fancy like mane with a brown tail. He is also wearing a black leather coat, a white wig, and a brown hat. His cute mark resembles two sea lions looking at flags that are shaped like crosses with three cross marks in a peculiar angle with E I and Co on it inside a circle, a red flower, eagles, lions, and three sailing ships with ribbons marked Deo Dvcente Nil Nocet. His name is Cutler Beckett, the Governor of the East Equestrian Trading Company and the owner of the Equestrian Insane Asylum, where the insane and disrupted are...'taken care of'.

"Thank you for coming on short notice, Cutler." Boris said to Cutler with a determined smirk

"I don't usually leave the asylum in the middle of the night, but they said you'd make it worth my while. So I'm listening." Cutler said, motioning to Dum-Dum and Boxco. Boris put downs a huge bag of bits. The black colt nods as he said, "I'm listening intently."

"It's like this. I have my heart on marry Twilight Sparkle...but the poor filly needs some...convincing if you know what I mean."

"Yeah, turned our boss down, flat as a pancake," Dum-Dum laughs madly with Boxco laughing with him. Boris however hit the two idiotic ponies, sending them right into their drinks.

"I don't see what that got to do with me." Cutler said puzzled.

"You know about Twilight's father Dusk Shine, that old colt gets crazier by the day." Boris explains to Cutler with a nod. "Why, earlier tonight, he came in here, raving about some...demon pony in a castle whose has locked Twilight, Nyx and Spike up!"

"Dusk shine is eccentric but harmless." Cutler said in dismissal, but of course it's obvious that he wants something in return for him listening further. And that's what the black colt got as Boris puts down a map with an X right on it, along with some instructions.

"This is a map to a hidden pirate pub near Manehattan. Don't ask how I got it. The point is, Twilight will do anything to protect her father. Anything to keep Dusk from being locked up forever."

"Right, even marrying him," Boxco jokes as he points to Boris with Dum-Dum chuckling cruelly. The red colt glares angrily at the two minions and hold a hoof back as if about to hit them. Dum-Dum and Boxco hold up their mugs to protect themselves.

"Anyway, that's where you come in, Cutler." Boris said with a cruel chuckle. He then begins to sing a new song.

Boris: When a colt like me is thwarted
And denied his honeymoon

Dum-Dum: When the pretty thing he's courted
Refuses to swoon

Boris: Then the time has come for a murky plan of bold

Boxco: For which he turns to a murky colt

All: To find that fiend where better than
At the House of the Loons?

Boris: (to Cutler) You'll be strapping up an inmate

Boxco: Very tightly.

Boris: Very soon
And we won't bring him in late

Dum-Dum: Your check-in time's noon

Cutler: How sad that Dusk is not too well

Boris: Prepare a five-star padded cell

All: And book him in for a long, long spell
At the House of the Loons

Boris: Do I make myself entirely clear?

Dum-Dum: It's the simplest deal of your whole foul career

Boris: Put old Dusk away and she'll be in here in moments

Boxco: In a dreadful state

Boris: She'll capitulate to me

Cutler: (interested) Oh! Oh! Oh, I love incarceration!
I could lock up a platoon!

Boris: We'll apply your inclanation
To a horned buffoon

Boris, Dum-Dum & Boxco: Then wave one bachelor goodbye

Boris: She'll be my bride

Dum-Dum: (concerned) She'd rather die!

Boris and Cutler glares at Dum-Dum who yelps nervously as his boss prepares to hit him but sighs as he decides that it's not worth it right now. This of course only made the male purple unicorn a bit nervous.

Boris: Than have old Dusk Shinie ossify

Cutler: The time's opportune

Cutler stops singing for a minute, to thought about what Boris wanted him to do: the red colt plans on blackmailing Twilight, threatening to lock Dusk up forever unless she agrees to marry Boris. That sounds...despicable.

"So let me see if I got this right so far: you wish for me to threaten to throw Twilight's father into the asylum and let me be 'care for' for the rest of his days unless she agrees to marry you, correct?" Cutler asks Boris, making the red unicorn and his goon nod cruelly. The asylum owner sighs, "Oh...that's despicable..." Then he chuckles evilly, "Ha ha ha ha! I LOVE IT!"

The villains laugh as they finish the song up.

All: Then book the church, raise glasses high
To the House of the Loons!

The four ponies laugh sinisterly and madly. Boris is going to get what he deserves...one way or another...

Dusk looks upset as he begin packing a lot of items into his bag. No one in Ponyville wants to help him; they all think that he himself is crazy! Well, the father unicorn isn't about to let his daughter, granddaughter and friend be locked up forever in the castle of that...Demon Pony!

"If I can't get any help, I promise that I will find that monstrous place again and get them out, even if takes me until after Christmas!" Dusk exclaims in determination. Once the unicorn is done packing, he leaves the house, closing the door on his way out. "Twilight, Nyx, Spike, hang on. I'm coming!"

Dusk gallops off in determination. Of course, he didn't notice the wagon for the Equestrian Insane Asylum pulling up to the house. Boris and his goons got off, leaving Cutler to wait for them. They planned on storming the place and threaten to have Boris taken away unless Twilight agrees to marry the red stallion.

As Boris slams open the door, he came in and calls out, "Twilight? Boris? Little Nightmare Moon?"

"Huh. I guess they aren't here." Dum-Dum remarks with a shrug as he looks around the place. Of course, none of the ponies saw Dusk leaving and of course no pony is even aware that what happened to Twilight, Nyx and Spike has really happened.

"Oh well, I guess it isn't going to work after all. May as well forget it," Boxco remarks with a shrug as he and Dum-Dum prepares to leave. If no one is here at the house, then it's no point in trying the blackmail plan, right?

Boris doesn't think so. He uses his magic to grab his two minions while snapping, "Oh no, you don't! I am not giving up so easily! Twilight and Dusk are going to come home some day and once that happens, we will be ready for them, even if we have to wait until after Christmas to do so! Now you two..."

Boris then slams Dum-Dum and Boxco into a pile of snow next to the porch while snapping, "Don't you two move from that spot until Twilight and her father come home!"

"But, but..." Dum-Dum protests but groans as Boris got back into the wagon as he and Cutler heads off back to Ponyville, leaving the two minions alone to wait for Twilight, Dusk and whoever comes with them to get back.

"Awww, nuts; our lives couldn't stink more." Boxco groans as he hits the waterwheel with one hoof, causing him to cringe in pain while holding it. To make matters worse, a pile of snow fell off the house roof, burying the two minions under it.

"You're right, our lives instead got buried."

It was the next day, back at the castle. The Demon Pony, his arm bandaged up while he's wearing a purple cape over a white casual shirt and a pair of black pants, watch from the balcony of the west wing with Pinkie Pie, Soarin' and Caramel as Twilight, Nyx and Spike, walk through the snow. Although the baby dragon wants to go straight home last night, he decides to stay as for some reason his filly friends want to stay after all.

Winona barks happily as she and Nyx plays. The little alicorn giggles, "Come on, catch me, mommy! I betcha you can't!" Twilight giggles as she rushes over and manages to grab both her and the puppy, hugging them.

"Gotcha," Twilight giggles as she and Nyx hug one another. The Demon Pony watches this and smiles a bit. He has warm feelings for the purple unicorn which is growing every minute or so. Could it be that he's starting to love at last?

"Wow...I've never felt this way about anyone...until now." The Demon Pony said softly then looks thoughtful. "I want to something nice for her; But what?"

"Well there's the usual things; Flowers, chocolates, a ride on a magical flying creature while singing a song about showing her a new world." Caramel remarks with a shrug. The Demon Pony, Pinkie and Soarin' look at Caramel. "What? It works in all those Aladdin fanmakes."

"Come on, if this were the fanmake that has Ben Mare as Aladdin and Twilight as Jasmine, that would work but that's not here!" Pinkie exclaims happily, making the males look at her oddly.

"At least the last part is more original thank making promises that you don't tend to keep. We all know how you feel about breaking promises, even Pinkie ones."

"Don't remind me, ick. Now if you want nice, how about throwing her a party?"

"No, no, if the master wants to give Twilight something, it must be something that is from the heart, something that shows her how much he cares for her. Something that catches Twilight's interest," Soarin' explains to Caramel and Pinkie. The Pegasus pony pauses to think the gasps while smiling, "Yes, I got it!"

On Soarin''s suggestion, a while later, the Demon Pony took Twilight to a set of doors of a room in a part of the castle. The master insists that she comes with alone.

"Twilight...there's something that I want to show you." The Demon Pony said as he prepares to open the doors but closes them for a moment. "First though...I want you to close your eyes." Twilight looks at the furry pony, arching an eyebrow at him in a puzzled way. "It's a surprise."

Twilight pauses then smiles as he does the same time. If this is a surprise, no need to ruin it just yet, right? The mare closes her eyes. The Demon Pony wave a paw/hoof in front of her to make sure that she isn't peeking then open the doors to lead her into the room.

The room that the Demon Pony took Twilight into is dark, but that's enough to help with the surprise. The curious unicorn asks, "So can I open my eyes now?"

"No...not yet. Now wait here." The Demon Pony said as he made Twilight stay in one place. Then the former prince goes over to a pair of the curtains and open them, letting light into the room while causing the mare to open eagerly.

"All right, now may I open them?"

"All right...now!"

Twilight open her eyes then gasp with choice as she saw what she herself is at: in the castle's library! Soarin' and Caramel was exaggerating last night: there are a lot of books as far as the eye can see on a lot of shelves! It's like a reader's dream come true!

"This...this is great, I can't believe it! I have never seen so many books before in my life!" Twilight neighs excitedly as she clop her hoofs together.

"So...you like it?" The Demon Pony asks Twilight hopefully as he trot up to her.

"Yes, I love it! It's amazing!"

"Then it's yours!"

Outside, some of the servants, Nyx and Spike watch what's happening from outside the library, the CMC were looking to see what's going on. They are happy of Twilight's happiness.

"Ha! Told you that it would work," Soarin' exclaims to the others with a smile.

"What, what worked?" Apple Bloom asks confused.

"Man, I got to admit: that master of yours did a great thing for Twilight." Spike said impressed.

"Yeah, mommy really loves this surprise!" Nyx giggles a bit.

"What surprise?" Scootaloo ask confused as Apple Bloom and Sweetie.

"Yeah, naturally," Caramel said proudly.

"Yay, you got that right! Surprises always put a smile on ponies' faces!" Pinkie squeals in delight at Twilight's expression to the master's surprise.

"What face or smile?" Sweetie asks confused.

"Oh man! Isn't this so awesome?" Rainbow asks with an excited smile.

"Yeah, don't I know it; Very cool," Nyx giggles as the group heads off to leave the Demon Pony and Twilight alone to enjoy the wonders of the library.

"But we done don't see nothing," Apple Bloom protests with a frown.

"Neither do we," Scootaloo and Sweetie protest with frowns on their faces. What is so surprising and delightful about Twilight in the library?

"Come on, Apple Bloom, we got chores waiting fer us in 'de kitchen." Applejack said as she herds the baby foals to come along with the group.

"But what is 'dey talking about? What's going? Can't someone tell us," Apple Bloom protests, frowning as the foals and baby dragon head on off. Of course, the CMC doesn't realize that this surprise is strengthening the relationship between Twilight and the Demon Pony further.

The next day, Twilight, Nyx and Spike were in the dining room eating, this time with the Demon Pony, breakfast. All of them are having porridge, while wearing nicely in some new clothes, suited for the meal.

Twilight took one sip of her porridge, then looks up. She gasps as the purple unicorn saw a shocking sight: the Demon Pony is eating from his bowl like an animal (literally). He looks up to see Twilight, Nyx and Spike looking at him disgust while Applejack and Apple Bloom looks down in embarrassment. The master has bad table matters.

Twilight looks away as the Demon Pony wipe his face off, wondering what to do. Luckily, Apple Bloom helps out by pushing a spoon over to him. The furry pony took the thing with both hooves but is having a hard time holding the utensil while trying to eat porridge with it, spilling a bit. Apple Bloom giggles a bit though stops upon seeing Applejack glaring at her.

Twilight smiles as she decides to give the Demon Pony an easier way of eating. She took the bowl, held it up and begins to sip. The furry pony smiles as he does the same thing. Looks like things went smooth sailing from there.

---

The next day once more, Twilight was feeding a few birds some food, wearing a purple parka with a hood. The Demon Pony, wearing some winter clothes and a green cape, came up to tap her on the shoulder while gesturing. He wants to feed the birds too.

Twilight, with a smile, gave some bird food to the Demon Pony, he kneels down to the flying creature though is having trouble as they kept flying away from him. As Twilight watch on, smiling, her voice is heard in her head, singing in the background.

Twilight's Voice: There's something sweet
And almost kind
But he was mean, and he was coarse, and unrefined
But now he's dear and so unsure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before

Twilight decides to help out the Demon Pony by pouring some feed to the snow, making the furry pony do the same thing. One of the birds came over and peck at the feed then came over to go at the food in the furry pony's paws.

As Twilight came over to a tree, the Demon Pony smiles as we can hear his own voice, though a bit normal and normal Earth Pony sounding, singing in the background.

Demon Pony's Voice: (Earth Pony voice) She glanced this way
I thought I saw
And when she touched, she didn't shudder at my paw

The Demon Pony of course turns away, pretending to ignore Twilight for a bit.

No, it can't be
I'll just ignore

The Demon Pony then looks back to Twilight, who smiles at him warmly.

But then again, she's never looked at me that way before

As the Demon Pony continues feeding the birds, Twilight goes behind a tree and smile while taking her hood down. Could it be that she herself...is having strange feelings for her captor?

Twilight's Voice: New and a bit alarming
Who'd have ever thought that this could be?

Twilight then looks to the Demon pony, giving out a smile in the progress.

True that he's no prince charming

Twilight is smiling as she is seeing the Demon pony covered with birds who then flew off, making him smile.

But there's something in him that I simply didn't see

As the smiling Demon Pony looks back to Twilight, he yelps as he himself got hit by a snowball. The Demon Pony glares at the filly who giggles as her horn glows, which allows her to throw the said snowball. The furry master smirks devilishly as he use his hooves to make a really big snowball. Twilight got snowballs prepared and ready as the snowball fight begins.

Inside the castle, Soarin', Rainbow, Pinkie, Caramel, Applejack, Nyx and Spike watch the two, smiling as the male Pegasus pony sings first.

Soarin': Well, who'd have thought?

Applejack: Well, bless mah soul

Caramel: Well, who'd have known?

Pinkie: Well, who indeed?

Rainbow: And who'd have guessed they'd come together on their own?

Spike: It's so peculiar

"Yeah." Nyx giggles as she and the others sing.

All Seven: We'll wait and see

We now see Twilight and the Demon Pony, out of their clothes, in the parlor. The two are in front of the fireplace as the purple unicorn is reading a book to the furry pony, who is listening in interesting while sitting next to her.

A few days more
There may be something there that wasn't there before

As the two continues with their activity, the group outside the parlor watch, smiling. Caramel turns to the others while singing.

Caramel: You know, perhaps there's something there that wasn't there before

"What is?" Scootaloo ask confused. Applejack chuckles as she sings the last line.

Applejack: There may be something there 'dat wasn't there before

"What's there, what do yew mean?" Apple Bloom ask, confused. She, Sweetie and Scootaloo are confused by what the others are talking about.

"Shhh, I will tell yew when yur're older." Applejack said as she kisses her sister on the forehead.

"Come on, girls, let's go and play." Nyx said to the CMC playfully.

While Twilight was busy, hanging out with the Demon Pony, the adopted daughter kept herself visiting by playing with Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. Soon the four became good friends, with the CMC making the alicorn an honorary member. Yes, she has a cutie mark but Nyx was so happy to have some good friends who like her, no matter of her past which she told them about. Luckily, they don't care, only the fact that she is her friend who is willing to move on from her horrible past.

As the ponies leave, Soarin' and Caramel closes the door, smiling as they leave Twilight and the Demon Pony alone once more. Spike open it a bit to take a quick peek.

"'Knowing now that this was indeed the legendary power known as the Elements of Harmony, Clover the Clever tries to lift them, but to no prevail. She tried once, then again, but still nothing happened. Then, for the third time, Clover was able to lift the Elements of Harmony themselves...'" Twilight said while reading the book.

"Wow, so she must've become the queen." The Demon Pony said excitedly, causing Twilight to giggle a bit.

"Wait and see, just wait and see. This history about Equestria doesn't just happen by magic, you know."

"Wow...never knew that books could do that."

"Do what?" Twilight ask the Demon Pony curiously, arching an eyebrow at him.

"You know...take me away from this place and make me forget for a little while." The Demon Pony answers, sighing a bit.

"About what?"

"About who...well, what I am."

Twilight couldn't help but smile at the Demon Pony, the poor creature is still sad and ashamed about his condition that he wants to forget about it. The purple unicorn spoke up, "You know...we have something in common."

"What's that?" The Demon Pony asks Twilight curiously.

"Back in Ponyville, where Nyx, Spike and I live...the ponies there thought that I'm odd...how ironic because I like to think the same thing about them."

"What, you?"

"Yes, I know how it feels to be different. And I knew how lonely that can be." Twilight said softly to the Demon Pony. After a moment of silence, the mare goes back to reading the book, "'Then, for the third time, Clover was able to lift the Elements of Harmony themselves, and thus the ponies nearby are shouting, 'Clover is now queen'."

"Ha! I knew it!" The Demon Pony exclaims in triumph, knowing that he was right the whole time.

Me: Right. In the next chapter, the servants prepared for the big time in hopes that the spell will be broken at last. As they do, the song 'Normal Again' is sung, which features appearances from not some ponies from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but some from the first three generations of My Little Pony! Read, review and suggest!

The last part came from the musical. Clever the Clover is from the Hearth's Warming Eve pageant from the actual show, the female unicorn shares her name with Clever Clover, a G2 male Earth Pony.

This next chapter of course takes place after the midquels.

Chapter 8: Normal Again

Time has passed as Twilight, the Demon Pony as well as their friends have interesting adventures, some threaten to keep the spell permanent. For one, they have to deal with a nasty creature named Discord who wanted to separate Twilight and his master while almost ruining Hearth's Warming Eve, a holiday that the Demon Pony himself used to hate.

Not to mention that two arguments, one where the Demon Pony refuses to apologize for something he cause which results in the temporarily exile of three servants and another where he tried to keep a bird named Kessie imprisoned, almost ruin things.

Fortunately, everyone in the castle has made it through these trouble times, but the most troubling is about to approach as the rose is almost close to wilting all the way. Most of the servants, as well as Nyx and Spike who are finally let in on the spell, watch as Caramel stood on the first step, holding a stick.

"All right, now for those wondering why you're here, allow me to explain." Caramel said as he motions to the stick with the stick. "We have 12 hours, 36 minutes and 20 seconds to make the most perfect romantic atmosphere known to pony or beast; Hee hee, 'beast', brilliant."

"Boring," Pinkie remarked, scoffing at the dumb joke.

Dexter and Fluttershy, two Pegasus ponies who used to be Discord's assistants until they find out that he was using them and redeem themselves by helping Twilight and the Demon Pony defeat him, look puzzled; The male spoke up, "Uh, what?"

"Errr, Caramel? Uh, do you mind putting that in a way we find...well, understandable?" Fluttershy spoke up meekly. "I mean, if it's not too much trouble..."

"Oh, very well, Fluttershy," Caramel said with a sigh as Applejack push the table with the rose under glass on it over to the Earth Pony. "Now I must remind you everyone..." Caramel of course taps on the glass, causing it to move near the edge of the table. Most of the ponies' eyes widen in alarm. He's going to break it!

"Err, Caramel?" Sweetie begins to speak out normally.

"If the last pedal falls from this rose, we can kiss being grownup again goodbye because the spell will never be broken!"

"Careful!" Soarin' protests as Applejack quickly pull the table away in time, causing Caramel to toss the pointer instead. Again, he didn't notice.

"All right, any questions?" Caramel asks the servants and friend with a smile.

"Yeah, does Mr. Ed know you raid his wardrobe?" Nyx jokes a bit, making some of the servants laugh a bit at the joke.

"Ha ha ha. Very funny; you will get the answer to that after this is all over, little lady!" Caramel snaps to Nyx. This causes the alicorn to scoff a bit. "Don't mess with the bull, Nyx! You'll get the horns! Anyone else got any questions?"

Sweetie begins to raise her hoof but her sister Rarity, the castle's fashion and castle designer, shook her head, making the baby foal put it down. No need to make any pointless questions than need be.

"All righty, you all know your assignments. Half of you got to the west wing, the rest, go to the east of the east wing. The rest of you shall come with me!" Caramel exclaims a bit. Of course, he spoke too soon. Everypony else rush off or walk away. Even Winona rushes off, causing the foal Eath Pony to fall down stairs. Caramel yelps until he lands on the floor with a groan.

Some of his friends came over to Caramel and help him up with Rarity asking, "Are you okay, Caramel?"

"I get no respect around here, even when I apologize for acting too bossy before!"

"Come on, lighten up, Caramel." Soarin' said to Caramel with a chuckle.

"Right, everyone will turn out fine at the end at the end." Spike remarks in agreement. Turning to Rarity, who he has fallen for, the dragon asks lovingly, "Right, my dear?"

"Please, Spikey-Wikey, not now." Rarity giggles a bit to Spike. The two have obviously become an item though the white unicorn is still a mare in a foal's body. But who knows what will happen, right?

"We should let nature take its course. It's obvious that there's a spark between mommy and daddy." Nyx said happily. For a while now, the young alicorn has started to call the Demon Pony 'daddy' which the former monster accept happily. After all, he always wanted to have a daughter of his own.

"Yes, they have been doing well on their own, despite some problems." Fluttershy said with a nod.

"Yes, yes, but there's no harm in fanning the flames a little, right?" Caramel remarks with a nod as the group walks to the side of the fireplace."Anyway, if we are to be normal again tonight, those two ponies must fall in love!"

"Yeah...to be normal again," Dexter said with a happy smile.

"'Ta being mahself again," Applejack said with a smile.

"Being myself again, designing dresses." Rarity squeals happily.

"Just think of what that would mean." Fluttershy said happily. Soarin' then got onto Caramel to switch the hands on the clock to 12:00. Once the Pegasus pony got off, the clocks chimes.

Caramel changes the time back as Soarin' begins to sing.

Soarin': I'll be cooking again
Be good-looking again

Soarin' grins as he put one arm around Applejack and the other around Rarity.

With a beautiful mare on each arm
When I'm normal again
Only normal again

Soarin' goes to a mirror, breath on it and use a hoof to clean it before smiling at his own reflection.

Poised and polished
And gleaming with charm

"Whoa!" Spike yelps as Soarin' came over and hug him.

I'll be courting again
Chic and sporting again

Applejack: Which should cause several husbands alarm

CMC: We'll hop down off the shelf

Rarity: And tout de suite, be myself

All Cursed Ponies: I can't wait to be normal again

In a bedroom, two baby foals named Pipsqueak and Twist were cleaning up while singing.

Pipsqueak and Twist: When we're normal again
Only normal again
When we're kids and babies no more
When we're normal again
Only normal again

Pinkie smiles as she stood in front of her dressing mirror while singing.

Pinkie: Aw, man. Won't it all be so swell?
I'll wear lip stick and rouge
And I won't be so huge

Brian, Pinkie Pie's boyfriend, remarks happily, "But you weren't always so big, Pinkie Pie."

"Well, maybe on the hair." Pinkie giggles happily. As Brian tries to get something off the top shelf, the female Earth Pony continues with her song.

But my friend will reach the top shelf
I'll exude savoir faire
I'll wear gowns, I'll have a bigger mane
It's my prayer to be normal again!

In the stables, an annoyed Caramel is dressed up like a farmer with Applejack nearby, both are singing.

Applejack & Caramel: When we're normal again
Only normal again
When the world once more starts making sense

More of the ponies help Soarin', Nyx, Spike and Fluttershy clean up the place. Caramel groans as he put a hoof on his own forehead as if having a headache.

Caramel: I'll unwind for a change

Fluttershy: Really? That would be strange?

"Gotta agree with Fluttershy," Spike remarks, making Caramel a bit steamed.

Caramel: (angrily) Can I help it if I'm t-t-tense?

Caramel calms down somewhat as he resumes singing.

In a shack by the sea
I'll sit back sipping tea
Let my early retirement commence

Caramel throws a towel off of Soarin', much to his annoyance. The foal got the said towel off himself then smirks wickedly, having an idea. He then begins to wrap the thing up.

Far from fools with ears full of wax
I'll get down to brass tacks

Without warning, Soarin' then whips Caramel, causing him to jump in alarm as is send flying. The other chuckles as the foal Earth Pony sang angrily.

AND RELAX!

All: When I'm normal again!

In the Demon Pony's room, some of the servants were cleaning the place up while singing.

Servants: So sweep the dust from the floor
Let's let some light in the room
I can feel, I can tell
Someone might break the spell
Any day now...
Shine up the brass on the door

Two ponies named Cheerilee and Spitfire are cleaning the door quite nicely.

Alert the dust pail and broom

Rarity, Fluttershy and Dexter uses brooms and a dust pail to clean up the dust.

If it all goes as planned, hoo
Our time may be at hoof
Any day now!

As the servants roll out the carpets, Rainbow along with ponies named Wind Whistler, Surprise and Heart Throb goes over to a window.

Rainbow, Wind Whistle and Heart Throb: Open the shutters and let in some air

Once the window is opened, Applejack is giving instructions to two foal colts named 4-Speed and Slugger.

Applejack: Put 'hese here an' put those over there

The two colts do as they were instructed while Fluttershy and a female Pegasus pony named Firefly swept dust over to a window.

Both: Sweep up the years of sadness and tears and throw them away

The two ponies swipe the dust out the window...and right onto Caramel who is instructing foals with snow shovels. The Earth Pony gets a bit annoyed by the dust that has fallen right on him.

Meanwhile, a few ponies named Bon-Bon, Patch, Bright-Eyes, Starlight, Sweetheart, Clover and Melody were working in the ballroom while singing.

Tale Ponies: When we're normal again
Only normal again
When the girl finally sets us all free
Cheeks will broom up again
We're assumin' again
We'll resume our long-lost joie de vivre

Dexter cleans the armor up in the armor up while Winona rush by happily.

Dexter: We'll be playing again
Holidaying again
And we're praying it's A.S.A.P.

Winona goes over to a chair and saw a kitten named Opalscence and chases her right into the ballroom, leaving dirt behind themselves.

All (but Winona and Opalscence): When we cast off this pall
And we'll stand straight and walk tall

"Hey, what are you doing? I just cleaned that!" Sweetheart snaps angrily as she chases the two animals out of the ballroom.

All (but Winona, Opalscence and Sweetheart: And we're finally normal again!

As the servants continue with the preparations, back in the library, Twilight was finishing reading a book called 'Ponyeo & Mare-et' to the Demon Pony, "'For never was there was a story of more woe, than this of Mare-et and her Ponyeo'."

As Twilight closes the book, a smiling Demon Pony request, "Could you read it again?"

"I got a better idea. Why don't you read it?" Twilight giggles as she gave the book to the Demon Pony, making him a bit nervous. "After all, you love the book so much; perhaps you would like a turn."

"Well...okay." The Demon Pony hesitates as he opens the book and looks at it. Of course, the furry pony looks at the reading material as if its gibberish then sighs in sadness. "I...I can't."

"Wait, you never learned how to read?"

"I will tell you the truth: I never liked reading much in my earlier years...and can only read only words that I understand which explains why I was able to read your Hearth's Warming Eve gift before. It has been so long since I read last..."

"I see, well, allow me to help you out." Twilight said thoughtfully. Perhaps now is the time for her friend to read every word. The two ponies turn the book to the very beginning. "Now, let's start here."

"Well, okay..." The Demon Pony said nodding as he begins to read, "'Two, twin...'"

"'Two'."

"Right, right, I knew that. 'Two households...'"

Outside the castle, a few ponies named Minty, Starsong and Toola-Roola were cleaning the windows while singing once more.

Servants: We'll be dancing again!
We'll be twirling again!
We'll be whirling around with such ease

In the garden, Caramel was making like a traffic cop, only to get knocked down by a servant who is rushing through with a wheelbarrow with plants on it.

When we're normal again
Only normal again
We'll go waltzing those old one-two-threes

As the plants got planted, Steamer uses spears to trim the bush plants to make them look like various ponies.

We'll be floating again
We'll be gliding again
Stepping, striding
As fine as you please

The yard work is now done, Caramel put in a 'Keep off the Grass' sign in the ground as a final touch. Spike and Nyx smiles as they turn a valve to activate a fountain.

Like a real pony does

With smiles, Caramel and Soarin' turns on another valve, causing another fountain to be activated.

I'll be all that I was

Soon everyone, minus Pinkie, are in front of the fountain, reaching the final part of the song.

All (but Pinkie): On that glorious day
We'll shout hip-hip-hooray
And we're normal

Soon, Pinkie, in a bathing suit, appears on the seventh story window's balcony, smiling as she sings the last part.

Pinkie: AGAIN!

"Incoming!" Spike screams in alarm as Pinkie jumps and heads right to the fountain.

The other ponies look up and scream as they run for it. Unfortunately, Caramel trip and is unable to get out of the way as the crazy pink Earth Pony hits the fountain, sending water all over the place. She stood there silently then laughs.

"Pinkie Pie, you are so random!" Rainbow exclaims with a laugh.

It was later that evening and the night of destiny is approaching. Some of the males are cleaning up the Demon Pony. As JJB88 scrubs the master's back, Soarin' spoke up, "This is it; this night is the big one."

"Well...I'm not sure if I can go through with this." The Demon Pony said with a gulp. Tonight is the night of his big date with Twilight...but what if he messes up?

"Awww, don't be a worrywart." Dexter chuckles as he motions to the rose nearby. You must be bold and daring!"

"Right, bold and daring."

Once the bath is done, the Demon Pony shook himself off like a wet dog, getting the others wet in the progress. He then got out of the tub and dried himself off more with a towel while his friends manage to wring the water out of themselves.

"There will be music, romantic candlelight courtesy of yours truly and Rainbow of course. Once your timing is right, then, you should confess your love for her." Soarin' said as JJB88 and Brian cleans the master up some more.

"Yes, I...no, no," The Demon Pony said as he looks in the mirror then gets a bit worried. "I can't."

"What; don't you like her?"

"I like her more than anything."

Spike, JJB88 and Dexter got to work on grooming the Demon Pony, with the male yellow Pegasus pony putting bows on him, much to the master's embarrassment. Soarin' then said in determination, "Then you must tell her."

"There! Done," Brian exclaims though he, Spike and Dexter does their best to keep their laughter in themselves.

"Oh, you look so...so..."

"Stupid." The Demon Pony said dryly. He said this because the master himself has his mane messed around and he has bows all over himself, making him look like a darn fool.

Spike and the male ponies snicker then laugh madly, much to the Demon Pony's dismay. Soarin' said sheepishly, "Well, maybe 'stupid' isn't a word that I would use. Maybe a little off the top," JJB88 quickly got rid of the bows and groom him the right way this time. Now the Demon pony looks better.

Soon Caramel came into the room and clears his throat. With a smile, he smiles while saying to the Demon Pony, "Ahem, your lady awaits. Hee hee hee!"

And thus, the preparations begin. In the next chapter, it's a romantic one as Applejack sings the famous song 'Beauty and the Beast'. It looks like things are going to be better...but when Twilight realizes that her father is in danger, the Demon Pony must make the hardest sacrifice to allow her to save him. Read, review and suggest.

Chapter 9: Love At Last?

The ballroom looks beautiful and decorated for the big date. At a door near one set of stairs, the fillies smile as Twilight came down them, wearing a dress that was designed and made by Rarity. The dress itself is purple with some light purple and light blue hooves with blue shoulderish pads and star decorations.

Once Twilight reaches the bottom, she looks up the other stairs to see the Demon Pony wearing a black tuxedo standing near the colts. His friends motion him on as he clears his throat and came downstairs.

The Demon Pony reaches the bottom now, now standing in front of Twilight. The two ponies smile as they bow and curtsy to one another. They then take upper hooves as they walk down the final steps to the dance floor. Applejack and Rarity are standing on side of the staircase with Nyx and the CMC; they are smiling as the Southern filly sings.

Applejack: Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Then somebody bends unexpectedly

In the dining room, Twilight and the Demon Pony ate their meals while JJB88 and Dexter plays the violin.

Just a little change

Twilight smiles as she got out of her chair and goes over to the Demon Pony, wanting to dance with him. The furry pony is nervous but got up to take her upper hoof.

Small to say the least
Both a little scared

The couple smile as they head to the main dance floor of the ballroom.

Neither one prepared,
Beauty an' 'de Beast

Twilight smiles as she prepares to dance with the Demon Pony who looks nervously at her. The creature has never danced before...but perhaps now is the time to do so.

Ever just 'de same
Ever a surprise

The couple begin to dance, doing so wonderfully and romantically. The Demon Pony grins as he glances over to Caramel, Soarin', Spike and Brian who gave approval smiles to their friend.

Ever as before, ever just as sure
As 'de sun will rise

The Demon Pony, getting more confidence, continues dancing with Twilight, falling more in love with her. For a moment, it looks like the cupids on the ceiling of the ballroom are moving, looking down in approval.

Tale as old as time
Tune as old can be
Bittersweet an' strange,
Finding yew can change, learning yew were wrong
Certain as 'de sun

Twilight smiles lovingly as she put her head onto the Demon Pony's chest, making the former nasty monster smiles. He felt warmth inside, even more so than usual. This feels so right.

Rising in the east
Tale as old as time,

The Demon Pony glances to the ones not dancing who smiles eagerly while giving the furry pony two thumbs up in approval.

Song as old as rhyme

Soarin' and Rainbow dims the lights down softly as the song is coming to a close.

A pair of double doors leading outside open up as the couple goes outside. With a smile, Nyx spoke up with a yawn, "Good song, AJ."

"Thank yew. Apple Bloom, off 'ta bed wit' yew an' 'de other Cutie Mark Crusaders. Same 'ta yew, Nyx, go on." Applejack said as she kisses Apple Bloom on the forehead. "Good night."

"Same to you, good night, Sweetie," Rarity said while hugging Sweetie good night.

"Come on, let's go." Nyx said with a nod as she and the CMC leaves the ballroom to get some sleep. But Apple Bloom looks through the door, smiling happily to the happy couple. This could actually happen.

The Demon Pony and Twilight got onto a bench at the balcony outside, looking at the starry sky. The furry pony looks at the purple unicorn, holding one of her hooves while smiling. He can't believe that it would happen, but it did. He has fallen in love with Twilight and wants to confess his love to her.

"Twilight...are you happy here with me?" The Demon Pony asks Twilight hopefully.

"Yeah, I'm happy. Nyx is too, she is making so much friends here, a place where my little foal wouldn't be able to do so back home." Twilight said. Then she looks down in sadness as she herself remembers home...and her father whom the mare hasn't seem in quite a long time.

"Uh, Twilight; what's wrong?"

"Oh, I like it here but if only I could see my father again, if only for a moment. I miss him so much."

The Demon Pony felt guilty, remembering how he has made Dusk's departure: abruptly and without saying goodbye to his daughter. Of course, the furry Earth Pony remembers how Twilight promise that she can't leave the grounds...but then the Demon Pony has an idea. Perhaps there's a way to assure his love that she can see Dusk.

"There is a way that can happen." The Demon Pony said to Twilight, much to her surprise.

"Wait...you can do that?" Twilight ask the Demon Pony hopefully. "Please show me."

---

The Demon Pony takes Twilight to the west wing, this time he wasn't upset that she was there, frankly because the monster no longer feels ashamed or outraged of her being there.

The Demon Pony picks up the magic mirror and shows it to Twilight while saying, "Here, this mirror can show you anything, which is how I found you a few times before. Just wish for something and you can see it."

Twilight, given the mirror, uses magic to hold it while saying to the mirror, "I wish to see my father please."

Like before, the mirror glows as an image appear. Twilight gasps in horror as she saw Dusk. He is in the forest, obviously looking for her, Nyx and Spike. The male unicorn groans as he fell to his knees, coughing like mad. Poor Dusk, he's sick and must've been searching for days.

As the mirror image fades, Twilight gasps, "No! It's my father, he's sick! He must've been searching for Nyx, Spike and me for days! He could be dying and doesn't have anything to help! I got to do something, but what?"

The Demon Pony looks at the rose, there are now three pedals left on it. He sighs in sadness. The furry pony knew that there's only one thing left to do so that Twilight can save her father now.

"Now you, your daughter and your baby dragon may go to him." The Demon Pony said with a sigh. This announcement has surprised Twilight. Her former captor is allowing her, Nyx and Spike to leave?

"What, but I thought..." Twilight begins to speak in surprise.

"You three are no longer my prisoners, there's no reason for you to be here anymore..."

Wait, you mean...we're free? Oh thank you!"

Twilight prepares to go fetch Nyx and Spike so that they can leave to find Dusk. Of course, the purple unicorn turns and is about to give the mirror back to the Demon Pony but he stops her while saying, "Take it with you. That way, you can have a way to look back...to remember me."

Twilight's tears came in her eyes, the Demon Pony has allowed her to go; he is so kinder than he himself was before. The mare said, "Thank you...for understanding how my father needs me, Nyx and Spike."

"Twilight, I...I...oh, just go, please."

"...thank you. I will miss you."

Twilight sighs as she goes out the door, not wanting to look at the Demon Pony. Otherwise, she would not want to go and end up forgetting Dusk. The unicorn passes Caramel who came in, unaware of what occurred.

"Great work, master," Caramel spoke up, noting how the master's back is turned to him, "Gotta admit, I was doubtful at first but you proved me wrong...hee hee."

"I let her go." The Demon Pony explains in sadness, not wanting to look at Caramel right now.

"Yes, yes, of course you let her..." Caramel suddenly looks shocked as what the Demon Pony just said has hit him hard. He has let Twilight, the only one who could break the spelll, go? "Wait, what? You let her go; as in allowing Twilight to leave the castle along with her adopted castle and...but why?"

"Because...I love her."

"Well...I see. Okay, then...I better go tell everyone the sad news then."

Caramel leaves the room in sadness, leaving his master to sigh sadly. He knew that it was a hard sacrifice, allowing Twilight to go to help her father...but it was the right thing to do. The Demon Pony then begins to sing.

Demon Pony: No pain could be deeper
No life could be cheaper
No point anymore
If she can't love me

No hope she would do so
No dream to pursue
So I look to myself
Despise all the things I see

For I know that she cannot set me free
Let the world be done with me

"He did WHAT?" Most of the servants exclaims in shock and disbelief. Caramel has informed them what has happened to his friends. The Demon Pony has really set Twilight Sparkle free?

"Yes, it's true, I'm afraid, it's all true." Caramel said with a sad nod.

"They're going away?" Apple Bloom asks in disbelief.

"Even Nyx too? Oh man, she was our friend and now she has to go." Scootaloo said with a groan.

"It's not fair." Sweetie said, tears in her eyes. Why must things end up getting good, only for them to end up in a major downfall?

"Oh great, it's not fair!" Rainbow groans in disbelief. "He was so close too."

"Oh dear. This is really sad." Fluttershy said in sadness. "I cannot believe that after all this time, he has finally learn how to love..."

"Wait, that's it, he loves her!" Soarin' exclaims in hope. "That can break the spell, maybe everything wasn't for nothing after all!"

"No...'dat ain't enough, Soarin'. Twilight has 'ta love him in return." Applejack said with a sad sigh. The spell can only be broken if Twilight can love the Demon Pony back in return, him loving her isn't enough.

"Yes, and sadly, we're getting close to the last pedals." Rarity said in sadness. No one notice that the CMC are sneaking away, looking behind themselves before leaving the room; Looks like they are up to something.

"And now...it's too late." Caramel said in sadness.

"Man, this is not cool." Rainbow said in sadness as everypony looks down in sadness. Looks like this is end, they will remain little foals forever...

The Demon Pony, outside on the balcony, watches as Twilight, with Spike and a sad Nyx, on her back, galloping off from the castle. He then begins to make a neighing noise as if his heart is broken...it is.

Twilight can hear the Demon Pony's neighing but held back tears as she continues galloping off onward.

Twilight's group continues looking around through the forest, looking around as the older mare calls out, "Daddy? Papa, where are you?"

"Twilight, look," Spike gasps as he points at something. The two fillies turn and gasp as they finally found Dusk, face first in the snow and unconscious.

"Papa!"

The trio rushes over to Dusk and check on him. Nyx checks his pulse as she sighs, "Grandpa's still alive...but he won't be unless we get him back home, now!"

It took a while but Twilight's group has arrived back home with Dusk and goes inside the house. The older male unicorn needs medical treatment and quickly!

Unknown to the group however, there are two snowmen right next to the porch...that is shivering like mad. Soon they crumble like mad, revealing Dum-Dum and Boxco, blue skinned thanks to freezing. The two has been staying there all this time, but are lucky to still be alive.

"Hey, they're back!" Boxco exclaims with a shiver.

"Good thing too, I don't know how long my magic can keep us fed, keep us from freezing to death as well as allowing us to...'do our business'." Dum-Dum said with a cold nod. "Come on, let's get Boris!"

With that, Dum-Dum and Boxco rush off quickly. Boris is going to be thrilled to hear their news.

Awww; Just when things are going so well between Twilight and the Demon Pony, the furry pony let her go to help her father. And things aren't going to be good once Boris appears again.

Nyx: I hate that guy!

Me: Right. In the next chapter, Boris and a mob appears to have Dusk committed with a threat that Twilight must marry the red colt or else. But when the heroine proves that her father isn't crazy, things got worse as Boris plays on the villagers' fears while planning on killing the Demon Pony, dragging poor Nyx with them. Read, review and suggest.

The dress worn by Twilight is the same one that she wore at the Gala in season 1.

Chapter 10: Kill the Demon Pony!

It was 10 minutes later when Dusk opens his eyes while groaning. He finds himself back in his bedroom back home...and seeing three familiar figures tending to his wounds.

"Twilight, Nyx, Spike?" Dusk ask in surprise and happiness.

"Ssh, it's okay, we're all okay." Twilight said gently. The mare has been using her magic to help with the wounds. Dusk looks a bit weak but he should be okay.

"Right, you fell unconscious but we saved ya in the nick of time, Dusk." Spike said with a smile.

"Oh, girls, Spike, you're all okay!" Dusk said as he hugs his daughter and his adopted granddaughter in happiness. "I thought I would never see you all again."

"We missed you too, daddy." Twilight said with a happy smile.

"Right, there hasn't been a day past when we haven't thought about you too while in that castle." Nyx said. The alicorn is relieved that her grandfather is alive. She would never forgive herself if the trio hasn't got him back home in time.

"Wait, what about the monster?" Dusk ask in alarm, recalling the Demon Pony that held Twilight, Nyx and Spike in return for his release. "How did you three escape?"

"Oh, we didn't escape. He let us go." Twilight said, much to Dusk's shock. Did he hear right? That Demon Pony has released her and the others?

"That horrible monster?"

"Grandpa, the Demon Pony is not a monster, he has changed somehow." Nyx said with a smile. "Oh, I wish that you could've stayed longer, though not a prisoner! Mommy and I have made so many good friends."

Suddenly the group looks startled as the sack that Twilight took back home with her begins to move, making Spike ask in surprise, "What in the world?" Soon it shook a bit as the sack is finally opened. The magic mirror slid down, followed by three familiar filly foals.

"Okay, going for a sack riding cutie mark is definitely out." Scootaloo groans a bit dizzily then smiles sheepishly to the surprised ponies and dragon, "Hi there!"

"Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle?" Nyx ask, surprised and happy to see her foal friends again. She thought that she herself would never see them again.

"Well, well, what do you know? I picked up some stowaways." Twilight giggles a bit. The two baby fillies must've snuck into her sack when she wasn't looking. Those little rascals!

"Hello there, little foals! I didn't think to see you again." Dusk chuckles as he pet the Cutie Mark Crusaders. This is the first time in days that he's happy to see something kinder from that dark castle.

"Great 'ta see yew again, Dusk." Apple Bloom said, mentioning his name as Twilight has told her that before. Speaking of which, the worried baby filly turns to Twilight while asking, "Twi, Nyx, Spike, why did yew have 'ta leave?"

"Yeah, don't you like us anymore?" Sweetie asks, a bit sad and hurt by the trio's departure.

"No, no, it's not that. We like you a lot." Nyx said with a giggle. "I wanted to stay at the castle forever and play with you three for all time! You are the best friends that I got!"

"Right, I like every one of you." Twilight said with a sad sigh. "It's just..."

Suddenly a knock came at the house door, much to the group's surprise and concern. Spike asks, "Now who could that be?" The group was obviously not expecting any visitors. Did someone found out that they were back already? (Well, that's obvious since none of them knew that it was Dum-Dum and Boxco who spot the ponies and dragon coming home)

Twilight came to the door and opens it, revealing a sinister Cutler outside. The purple unicorn in concern asks, "Cutler Beckett? This is a surprise. May I help you?"

"Yes, is your father home by any chance?" Cutler ask in a sinister creepy like voice, making Twilight, Nyx and Spike (the last two came to the door as well) a bit scared and worried. They don't like his tone of voice at all.

"Well, yes."

"Good, then this will be too easy. I have come to collect him."

"Wait, what?" Nyx ask in startle and horror. Cutler has come to collect Dusk?

"Oh, do not worry. He will be in our good hooves." Cutler remarks sinisterly as he steps aside. Twilight, Nyx and Spike gasps in horror as they saw an angry mob standing near the 'House of Loons' wagon near the house! Not good. What has happened while they were away?

"My father is not insane!" Twilight protests to Cutler in shock.

"Right, go commit someone else who is really crazy, you anti-pirate freak!" Spike snaps to Cutler with a frown.

"Ha!" Dum-Dum laughs evilly as he and Boxco came out of the crowd. "That old stallion was raving around like a nutcase!"

"Yeah, we heard him, right folks?" Boxco sneers. The angry mob made out a chorus of agreements.

Twilight, Nyx and Spike looks shocked as a donkey named Bray and a zebra named Zeb came out of the wagon, ready to take Dusk away. Not any one of them notices a smirking Boris on the porch, with his upper hooves across, preparing to make his next move.

"No! Leave Grandpa alone! We won't let you take him!" Nyx protests as she and Twilight tries to defend the poor Dusk.

"We don't have to take orders from you, Nightmare Mini-Moon!" Bray sneers sinisterly to the concerned Nyx. Some of the citizens of Ponyville like to taunt Nyx of her former past, ridiculing her ever since her reformation.

"Yeah, now get out of our way! We got a crazy stallion to commit before I get money on his 'treatments'." Zeb remarks with a sinister laugh.

"You got to get by me first!" Spike snaps as he stood in the way. Of course, the two flunkies push the baby dragon out of the way. "Hey, you got by me!"

Just then, a worried Dusk appears as he ask, "Twilight, Nyx, Spike? What's going on?"

"Hey, look, it's our favorite nutcase Dusk!" Boxco remarks with a sinister smirk upon seeing Dusk. "Hey old man, enlighten us again. How big was the Demon Pony?"

"Well, I think he was big...about 8 to 10 feet tall!"

"Well, looks like you can't get much crazier than that!" Dum-Dum mocks as the crowd laughs while pointing at the worried Dusk. Once again, they think that he is crazy!

"It's the truth, I'm telling you!" Dusk protests in worry and concern.

"Take him away!" Cutler orders as he waves a hoof to Bray and Zeb who seizes Dusk and begins to drag him off to the wagon.

"No, let me go! Twilight, Nyx, Spike, help!" Dusk protests as he struggles helplessly in the two flunkies' grip.

"No, we won't let you take him!" Twilight protests as she grabs Cutler by the upper forearm but the stallion just got himself free before heading off. The mare look worried and scared as is Nyx and Spike. Dusk is going to be committed and worst yet, he is not even crazy in his story about the Demon Pony at all!

Just then, Boris appears, chuckling in what appears to be pity as he spoke up, "Aww, poor Twilight. A real shame of what's going on with your father. He's going to be committed and there's nothing you can do about it."

"Boris, you know that he's not crazy!" Twilight pleads to Boris in despair. "You got to do something!"

"Right, you're supposed to be the town hero, so act like one!" Spike exclaims frantically. If Boris is the town hero like he was supposed to be, then at least the stallion should use his influence to stop this madness.

Boris pretends to be thinking, but the truth is this is the opportunity that he has been waiting patiently for. The red unicorn said, "Well...tell you what. I might be able to clear his misunderstanding up."

"Oh, that's a relief...I was worried that..."

"On one condition."

"Wait, what is that condition?" Twilight begins to ask Boris, a bit concerned as to what that condition may be.

"The condition is that you marry me." Boris said to Twilight with a cruel smile, making her, Nyx and Spike shocked and horrified.

"What?"

"I knew it!" Nyx exclaims in anger and fury. "You were planning on blackmailing mommy to marry you to keep grandpa from getting locked up all this time! You were behind this madness and is planning on shipping me off to some reform school first chance you get!"

"Hey, if your mommy doesn't want her old man to be locked up, she knows what to do." Boris remarks with a shrug before turning back to Twilight, "Come on, Twilight Sparkle. One word, that's all you need to say."

"Never," Twilight exclaims furiously as she pushes Boris away. Even if her father would be locked up for her refusal, the purple unicorn will not be blackmailed into marriage!

"Fine, have it your way! Maybe a few days of your father's 'treatment' at the asylum will get you to cooperate!"

Boris walks off, Twilight, Nyx and Spike looks worried as Dusk continues struggling in the flunkies' grip while crying out, "Twilight; Nyx, Spike; Help!"

"We got to do something but what?" Nyx ask helplessly but then Twilight looks determined as she got an idea to prove Dusk's innocence. The mare quickly rushes back into the house to get something.

"Let go of me!"

Just then, Twilight came out of the house with the magic mirror being held by magic, calling out in determination, "My father is not crazy and I will prove it!" Everyone else turns as she spokes into the mirror. "Show me the Demon Pony!"

Suddenly the mirror glows as Twilight turns it to the crowd. They all gasps in shock and horror as the image in the mirror show a sadden Demon Pony neighing (though it sounds like he is roaring). The mob looks shocked and disbelief. Dusk is right all along!

"Ha, you see? There is a Demon Pony! I was right but you wouldn't listen!" Dusk exclaims with a smile of triumph in the shocked Bray and Zeb's forearms before he was let go. This proves that he isn't crazy after all!

"Is he dangerous?" A mare called Daisy asks in a bit of a fright.

"No way, daddy isn't scary!" Nyx protests to the crowd, making them gasp in shock and surprise. "Yeah, he's my adopted daddy now. Care to make something of it?"

"Sure he's horrible looking but he is also kind and gentle." Twilight adds while sighing happy to the image in the mirror. "He's our friend."

"You know, if I didn't know any better, I say that you're having feelings for this monster, Twilight." Boris said with a frown. He can tell from Twilight's eyes that she is so much having feelings for the Demon Pony...maybe romantic ones! The last thing that the stallion wants is a competitor for her heart!

"He's not the monster, Boris...you are!" Twilight snaps angrily to Boris, much to his shock and anger. How dare she accuse him of being a monster! Well, it's time for him to get rid of the competition once and for all and the evil pony knows how to do so.

"Twilight is crazy as her father!" Boris snaps furiously as he use his magic to swipe the mirror from Twilight, shouting to the frightened ponies. "She thinks that this monster is her friend? Why this Demon Pony is even worse than Nightmare Moon! He will make off with your foals!" This causes the crowd to gasp in horror. "He will come after them in the night!"

"No, that isn't true!"

"Right, daddy wouldn't do that, you liar!" Nyx protests to Boris in alarm.

"Don't listen to him!" Spike protests to the mob in worry, but it's too late. Boris's words has played on the scared crowd members' fears and it looks like they are willing to believe what he's saying!

"Well, we are not safe until that Demon Pony's head is mounted on my wall! I say we kill him AKA the beast!" Boris exclaims in determination and fury.

"Yeah," The angry mob exclaims as a song begins to play.

Filthy Rich: We're not safe until he's dead

Observan: He'll come stalking us at night!

Lily: Set to sacrifice our children to his monstrous appetite!

Blueblood: He'll wreak havoc on our village
If we let him wander free

Boris smirks evilly, everypony in the mob is riled up, just like he wanted it! The villain grabs a torch from Boxxy Brown.

Boris: So it's time to take some action, stallions
It's time to follow me!

Boris then throws the torch onto a haystack nearby, setting it on fire as the mob cheers on. The villain prances around the fire while warning the crowd of the Demon Pony's 'dangers', playing on their fears some more.

Through the mist, through the woods
Through the darkness and the shadows
It's a nightmare but it's one exciting ride.

Say a prayer, then we're there
At the drawbridge of a castle,
And there's something truly terrible inside.

Boris continues singing, chasing Dum-Dum and Boxco around like a monster. He soon caught them both and shows them the Demon Pony's image, exaggerating the whole thing.

It's a Beast
He's got fangs, razor sharp ones
Massive paws,
Killer claws for the feast

Hear him roar, see him foam,
But we're not coming home,
'Til he's dead, good and dead, kill the Beast!

Twilight, having enough, rushes in and grabs at the mirror while snapping at Boris, "No! I won't let you do this!"

Unfortunately, Boris grabs Twilight by the forearm while snapping, "If you're not with us, then Nightmare Moon has corrupted you and therefore you are against us! Bring the old colt and dragon!"

"No!" Nyx screams and yells as Gilda grabs the little filly, Filthy Rich grabs Spike while the Film-Flam brothers drag the struggling Dusk over to the cellar doors just as Boris opens them.

"Let go of me!" Dusk yells in protest as he and Spike were thrown right into the cellar.

"We cannot allow you all to run off to warn the Demon Pony!" Boris snaps as he throws Twilight right into the cellar. Gilda was about to do the same thing to Nyx when the red stallion stop her. "No! The evil Nightmare Moon is coming with us as she's going to lead us to the monster! Get the anti-magic brace that we were planning to use on Dusk!"

Boris quickly closes the cellar doors, locking them tight. Twilight hits them while yelling, "Let us out! Let go of my daughter!"

"Oh man, and this cellar has to be the one with no other way out and that is magic proof!" Spike groans in alarm. Dusk has of course made the cellar magic proof after too many explosions in the past.

Outside, Boris continues his fear monging, while shouting sinisterly, "We will rid of the village of this monster as well as Nightmare Moon once and for all! Who is with me?" The villain decides that once the Demon Pony is dead, he will focus on killing Nyx again!

"I am, I am, I am!" The mob exclaims madly. The CMC peeks from inside the hut, looking horrified as they lift their torches while singing. Those ponies and such are not only going to kill the Demon Pony, but Nyx too, mostly thinking that the poor alicorn is still bad (Boris has scared some of them into thinking that way).

Mob: Light your torch, mount your horse!

Boris put a cape on himself then kicks Nyx, who is wearing anti-magic collar to keep her from using her magic as well as a leash, forcing her to move forward in sadness as the villain begins leading the angry mob.

Boris: Screw your courage to the stinkin' place

Mob: We're counting on Boris to lead the way!

Boris and the saddened Nyx led the mob, which includes Dum-Dum, Boxco, Gilda, the Film-Flam brothers, Filthy Rich and even Filthy's daughter Diamond Tiara and her friend Silver Spoon (both wanting in on the fun as well) through the woods while going into Ponyville.

All: Through a mist, to a wood,
Where within a haunted castle,
Something's lurking that you don't see every day!

In the village, the ones not going bids the mob members farewell and good luck in defeating the 'monsters'.

It's a beast! One as tall as a mountain!
We won't rest till he's good and deceased
Sally forth! Tallyho! Grab your sword!
Grab your bow!
Praise the Lord, and here we go!

"We will go up to his castle and bring back his head and dispose of Nightmare Moon if we have to!" Boris exclaims eagerly, much to Nyx's fear.

Back in the cellar, Twilight looks for a way out but unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any. The mare exclaims in despair, "Oh, we have to warn the Demon Pony and save Nyx!" She sat down while sobbing, "This is all my fault, I was trying to prove you sane and now this happened! What are we going to do?"

"It's okay, don't worry. We will think of something." Dusk said, comforting his daughter. But even he knows that it's useless. The cellar doors are the only way out of this magic-proof place and by the time that the trio could escape, it would be too late.

The CMC, the only ponies not imprisoned, watch through a crack in the cellar doors while sighing in concern. If only there's a way to get Twilight, Spike and Dusk out of there.

Just then, Apple Bloom turns and gasps in excitement, "Wow!" Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle turns to see what their friend just saw: it's Dusk's invention, still in the wagon on the hilltop. "Yew two fillies git what I'm done thinking?"

"CUTIE MARK CELLAR DOOR CHOPPERS, YAY!" The Cutie Mark Crusaders exclaims eagerly, all having the same idea. It's time to break the prisoners out!

---

The mob continues going through the forest, with Boris and the still leashed Nyx leading the way, the young alicorn is doing so without a choice in the matter.

Back with the mob, they went through the woods.

Mob: We don't like what we don't understand
In fact, it scares us
And this monster is mysterious at least
Bring your guns, bring your knives
Save your foals and your mares
We'll save our village and our lives!
We'll kill the Beast!

The mob cut down a tree to use a battering ram, picking it up as they continue on their way to the mansion, lightning flashing like mad.

Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie and Rainbow watch Caramel pacing back and forth, looking upset over Twilight's departure as he exclaims, "I knew it! We should've known better than to let our hopes up!"

"Maybe you're right. Perhaps it would've been better if she hadn't come in the first place." Soarin' said in defeat.

"Hey, Soarin', come on! Twilight have to leave to save her dad! Don't be like that!" Rainbow protests to Soarin' in concern. "If that isn't loyalty, I don't know what is!"

"Wait, anyone seen Sweetie and her friends?" Rarity asks in concern. The white foal unicorn notices that her sister, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo are nowhere in sight.

"Shucks, I don't know." Applejack said in concern. "I ain't seen them since..." Just then Winona peeks out the window of the library and barks in alarm. "Huh? Winona? What's wrong?"

"Could it be?" Soarin' ask in hope and happiness. Could it be that Twilight has returned after all with Nyx and Spike?

"Mah stars! Could it be Twilight?"

The group rush over to the window, excited and hopeful to be seeing Twilight, Nyx and Spike returning after finding Dusk. But upon looking outside, the gang looks horrified as they saw the mob heading to the castle.

"If Twilight's coming, she brought some new friends...who look angry!" Fluttershy exclaims with a gulp of horror.

"Gah, its invaders," Soarin' exclaim in shock and alarm.

"Worst yet, the usual typical magic mob!" Caramel exclaims with a yelp.

"Oh no, they got 'de magic mirror!" Applejack exclaims as she saw Boris out in front while holding the magic mirror. The young Earth Pony gasps as she saw the villain forcing Nyx along by leash. "Great horny toads; 'Dey got poor Nyx on a leash; 'Dey must've forced her 'ta lead them here!"

"What? Why those horrible fiends," Rarity exclaims in outrage, "Doing that to poor Nyx!"

"Warn the master! If those ruffians want a fight, we will give them one! Who's with me?" Caramel exclaims in determination, ready and willing to defend the castle no matter what. Of course, he turns around and yelps as his friends rush out of the room already. "Hey, wait up!"

As the mob continue their focus on the Demon Pony's death, it rains hard as Boris exclaims, "Take anything that you can get your hooves on. But remember, the Demon Pony's death is mine!"

---

The servants, prepared for battle with whatever they are using for weapons, head downstairs inside the castle. The foals head to the main doors while singing.

Servants: Hearts ablaze, banners high!
We go marching into battle,
Unafraid, although the danger just increased!

---

The mob carries the battering ram tree outside in determination, ready to use it to hit the main doors.

Mob: Raise the flag, sing the song
Here we come, we're fifty strong
And fifty colts can't be wrong,
Let's kill the Beast!

---

The Demon Pony is unaware of the mob trying to break into the castle. And if he did, the poor pony wouldn't care to do anything about it. He has lost the love of his life and wants to be alone for all of eternity in his cursed form.

Applejack came into the west wing, worried as she spoke, "Uh, master!"

"Go away; I want to be left in peace." The Demon Pony said in sadness.

"Please listen; 'De castle is under attack!"

Outside, the mob hit the door with the tree while chanting on and on with the horrified Nyx being forced to watch, "Kill the beast! Kill the beast!"

---

The servants do their best to keep the doors blocked but the intruders' ramming is almost breaking their way in. Soarin' groans, "Not good! This is not going to work at all!"

"Soarin', we got to do something!" Rainbow exclaims in worry. "We can't keep this up forever!"

"There's...wait! I got an idea!"

---

"Kill the beast! Kill the beast!" The mob exclaims in madness as they kept on bashing the doors hard. Nyx gulps in fear. It won't be long until these fear-stricken ponies and the whatnot will get into the castle...and it's all that Boris's fault!

---

"Master, we got 'ta do something, 'Dere has 'ta be a way!" Applejack pleads to the Demon Pony who just looks at the rose as the second to last pedal drops down. "What can we do?"

"Oh, it doesn't matter...not anymore. Just let them come." The Demon Pony said with a grim sigh. The furry pony is going to accept whatever fate awaits him, whatever it's in an eternal spell or death. Without Twilight, he cannot have the will to go on...

"Kill the beast! Kill the beast! Kill the beast!" The mob roars as they kept on ramming the doors. Soon they gave away as the angry ponies came into the castle, ready to kill the Demon Pony and anypony who gets in their way.

Uh oh. Thanks to Boris, the angry mob of Ponyville is out for the Demon Pony's blood, but they will have the servants to deal with first! In the next chapter, it's the foals vs. the mob members while Boris forces Nyx to help him look for the Demon Pony. And can Twilight, Spike and Dusk escape the cellar in time? Read, review and suggest.

Bray and Zeb are two bad guys from the first series in the My Little Pony franchise.

Okay, three more chapters to go and I will be done with this story. It has been a while but the fanmake will be soon be finished.

nobodiez, good suggestions and such. Now for the suggestions for Ben Mareladdin, maybe to the first one (I will need to ask Penstrokepony to use her for that once more) and second, of course.

To answer Agent C.H.A.O.S like I PM the reviewer before, there are non-antagonistic characters in there, but with so many in the mob, I just chose not to show them. After all, too much appearance is overkill.

Second, Boris is playing on the villagers' fears, making them think that Nyx (Nightmare Moon) is still a threat. He did say anything about disposing Nyx but didn't say how (the villagers presumed that Boris, being a "town hero", want to deal with Nyx's power but the villain is secretly planning on getting rid of Nyx). Also, I didn't say that the Doctor and any mare with a child (who are more scared of the Demon Pony than Nyx) would be in the mob for the castle invasion.

And finally, again, I don't mind as I don't do this word per word. Again, I am not in it to be a better writer.

Chapter 11: Castle Rumble

Once the mob is into the castle, they all look around the foyer. Weird, nothing but cabinet, chests and other typical objects; Of course, as they came forward, not one of them notice shadowy figures hiding behind random objects as if ready to strike.

As Dum-Dum and Boxco pass something, Soarin' suddenly flew out and roars, "Now!"

Suddenly the lights are turned on as the foal servants jump out and quickly attack the mob, much to their alarm as they fought back. The intruders weren't informed about this! Dexter quickly flew around and quickly trips up Dumb-Bell.

"Can't catch me, you meanie." Dexter said with a smirk.

The mob kept on fighting the servants with Bow-Tie and JJB88 hit Observan in the chin a few times. Blueblood yelps as Fluttershy quickly pulls the rug from under him, sending him right into a chest, causing Pipsqueak to lock him in with a smirk.

As the battle rages on, Boris, not deferred, pulls Nyx, forcing her up the stairs while snapping, "Now, little filly, since you know your way around this place, you will show me where your 'daddy' is even if I have to kick you so do so! Now take me to him!"

Boris kicks Nyx, causing her to cry out in pain as she was dragged upstairs to look for the Demon Pony. The little alicorn said sadly to herself, "Daddy, forgive me..."

The CMC got to work to activating Dusk's invention, though has a few problems that causes him to argue with one another.

"You're pulling the lever the wrong way! It goes forward, not backward." Sweetie Belle protests to Scootaloo in annoyance.

"What are you? An engineer," Scootaloo ask Sweetie Belle with a frown.

"Girls, can ya save 'de arguing fer later." Apple Bloom said to her friends. Soon the engine of the invention begins to start, much to the CMC's happiness, "Yeah!" They all got into the engine as Sweetie pulls on the string, causing a whistle to go off.

"Here we go!"

"Better hope this works." Sweetie said in concern as the invention heads right to the cellar.

Twilight, Dusk and Spike heard the commotion from the inside, causing them to peek through the cracks. The father asks, "What in Equestria?" He gasps as the male unicorn saw his own invention heading right to them. "Twilight, Spike, look out!"

The cellar prisoners quickly duck for cover just as the invention chops through the cellar doors and quickly fell right into the place, exploding in the progress. Once all is clear, Twilight, Dusk and Spike peek out of their hiding places to see an unusual sight: the baby CMC hanging from some parts of the machine while groaning.

"Okay, a chopping cellar door cutie mark is definitely out." Scootaloo groans a bit.

"But yew y'all have gotta try 'dis." Apple Bloom said to Twilight's group with a giggle.

The fight at the castle continues on. The Tales Ponies throw tomatoes right at Filthy Rich who growls as he grabs a shovel in an attempt to hit them. But then he heard Applejack, "Hey, yew vermint, up here!" The Earth Pony looks up to see her, her big brother Macintosh, a younger Granny Smith and the rest of the Apple family with bowls of some hot liquid. "How about some hot apple cider; Now!"

The Apple family then dumps the hot stuff right onto Filthy Rich, causing him to scream in pain from the liquid. Score prepares to attack but Minty and Toola-Roola quickly slams two shelves right onto him.

Diamond and Silver chases after a foal pony but then Pinkie jumps from a railing and lands on the two brats, knocking them both out.

Boris kicks open a door upstairs and look into a room, but there's no trace of the Demon Pony. The worried Nyx said, "Maybe daddy has decided to leave the castle. I guess he isn't..."

"I'm losing my patience with you, Nightmare Moon!" Boris exclaims furiously as he slaps Nyx across the face, causing her to sob in sadness and pain. "Now take me to where this monster is or I will kill you right now for wasting my time!"

"All right, all right, I will do so for real...don't hurt me anymore, please..."

"You better this time or else!"

Boris then kicks Nyx along as the two continue the search for the Demon Pony.

The fight in the foyer continues on as Bray and Zeb fights off Pinkie Pie who hits them with her hooves. She quickly sent them both right into another room as Rarity and the Spa Ponies quickly seize them.

"You poor ugly creatures, you both need makeovers." Rarity giggles as she and the Spa Ponies quickly went to work on giving them a make-over. Once they're done, the white unicorn use magic to show the two mob members a mirror. "There, isn't that better?"

Bray and Zeb looks into the mirror, then at themselves and each other before screaming in terror. They are wearing dresses and female make-up. The two villains rush out of the room, screaming like lunatics.

"You're welcome!" Rarity calls out to the fleeing Bray and Zeb with a devilish smirk on her face.

Soarin' meanwhile looks horrified as he is back into a wall by Dum-Dum who held a torch at him menacingly, ready to burn him up. Unknown to the villain, Caramel appears on top of the stairs, wearing a Napoleon like hat. The foal Earth Pony laughs like a maniac then spots his friend in trouble.

Caramel slid down the banister of the stairs, laughing madly as he is using a pair of scissors. The young Earth Pony then jumps and stabs Dum-Dum in the butt, causing him to jump into the air in pain from the impact.

Twilight and Dusk quickly gallops through the forest, with Spike and the CMC on their backs quickly. They hope to get back to the castle before Boris finds the Demon Pony and kill both him and Nyx!

Glida laughs evilly as she was holding Rainbow, pulling her by the tail and causing the young Pegasus pony to scream in pain. Rainbow snaps angrily, "You jerk! If I had ya as a best friend, I would be furious right now."

"Bite me, you loser!" Gilda sneers evilly at the Rainbow as she pulls on her tail some more.

Of course, Soarin', seeing what Gilda is doing, quickly grab the scissors from Caramel and stabs Gilda right in the rear. The griffin shrieks as she flew upward, letting go of Rainbow. Soarin' held his fore legs out as he grabs his love, making the female Pegasus pony smiles in delight.

Boxco and some of the mob members roar as they chase Winona right into the kitchen, cornering the little puppy there and laugh evilly. They got her now!

That is until the drawer was suddenly opened as sharp knives, torture stuff and other objects came out with Mr. and Mrs. Cake and their babies Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake looks darkly at the mob members. Hoity quickly turns the stove on, flames burst out of the stove as Pinkie appear with her mane down, blood on parts of herself and she is wearing a quilt of various cutie marks and wings. Pinkie Pie hold a knife in her mouth while laughing maniacally.

The mob members scream in terror as they run out of the kitchen. Eventually, the mob members were forced to run out of the castle (with Pipsqueak tossing Blueblood right out). They were obviously no match for the foals attacking them! No Demon Pony (or even Nyx though they are unaware that Boris wants to kill her for real) is worth all this trouble!

As the intruders run out of the castle and through the woods to get back to the village, the foal servants cheers wildly while high-fiving one another. They did it! Everyone has saved the castle from the invaders!

"Gotta admit, Pinkie; that reference to that fic was terrifying yet interesting," Fluttershy said to Pinkie with a shudder.

"Yes, I know, JusSonic thought it would be scary to sneak that in." Pinkie said happily while cleaning the fake blood off of herself.

"And stay out!" Caramel shouts after the intruders. Soarin' eagerly kiss the Earth Pony on both cheeks, much to his disgust. Caramel shakes him off while snapping, "Ugh! Don't do that again!"

Of course, although the servants have won, they are unaware that a certain mob leader is still in the castle, looking for the Demon Pony right now...

Hooray! The servants had chased off the mob members. But uh oh, Boris is still after the Demon Pony. In the next chapter, the villain finds the sad creature as the final battle begins. Will Nyx be able to help her 'daddy' in a scary yet determined way? And will Twilight arrives in time? Read, review and suggest.

Two more chapters left to go. Solid Sun, despite what you said, I still find Nyx to be a fascinating creature and I did her well.

Chapter 12: Who is the Real Monster?

The depressed Demon Pony sat in a chair as he watches the rose is down to its two last pedals. Whatever or not the monster has heard the commotion downstairs no longer matters. Without Twilight, the poor thing has no more further reason to live.

Just then, two familiar figures enter his room. Boris spots the Demon Pony and smirks as he use his magic to make a bow and arrow appear, remarking sinisterly, "Ah, nice work, 'little filly'. You have served me well."

The Demon Pony looks up to see the two, Nyx has tears in her eyes as she said, "Daddy, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." The furry pony sighs in sadness as he turns away, not wanting to say anything or wanting to defend himself, not even from what's about to happen.

Boris sinisterly fires the arrow, hitting the Demon Pony right in the back hard. The cursed beast roars in pain and agony. This causes the villain to jumps at him, sending both right out the window. Nyx quickly rush out after them and watch as the Demon Pony tries to get back up but was kicked to the edge by Boris very hard.

"Ha ha ha ha; Get up, get up!" Boris laughs evilly to the Demon Pony as he kicks the hero again. "Awww, what's the matter, Demon Pony? You're too kind and gentle to fight back?"

"No!" Nyx screams as she rushes to Boris and tries to stop him. "Leave daddy alone! Leave daddy alone!" Unfortunately, the villain kicks Nyx right to the ground hard.

"Foolish foal; Once he's dead, you're next! Don't worry, little Nightmare Moon, you will be reunited with your 'daddy' soon enough!"

The Demon Pony stares down sadly, his little girl is in danger but how can he help her? Without Twilight Sparkle around, there's no point in even trying. Boris use his magic to rip off a part of the roof, making it look like a sharp object then storms to the Demon Pony, preparing on finishing his rival for the female unicorn off once and for all.

Nyx looks up and gasps in horror. Her father is about to be killed by that monster! Something suddenly begins to stir right inside the little foal, making her eyes glow as a magic fog begins to cover Nyx. In light of the anti-magic brace around her neck, she is suddenly beginning to transform, causing the thing to break.

Boris, not even noticing what's happening to Nyx, prepares to finish the Demon Pony, who just laid there, off. But then a voice was heard below, "NO!"

The Demon Pony's eyes widen as he recognize the voice, one that the furry pony never thought to hear from again. The hero looks and saw Spike, Dusk and the CMC on the bridge, looking at the battle from below. And right with them, to his happiness, is...

"Twilight..." The Demon Pony said gently and happily. Twilight has come back...

"Boris, don't! Leave him alone!" Twilight gasps in horror.

Boris eagerly brought the object right down onto the Demon Pony but then the furry pony grabs the thing in time, glaring viciously at his enemy. His confidence to fight and defend himself has returned.

The Demon Pony knocks his enemy away. Outraged, Boris made his gun appears while snapping, "You think I want to play fair? Tough! At least I can kill you when..."

Suddenly a blast of magic knocks Boris's gun away then hits him to the ground. The evil unicorn got up and gasps upon seeing Nyx...except she has transformed and is bigger! She looks like Princess Luna (her good side) but had one purple eye shadow, something to accent her otherwise utterly black appearance. In addition, she was clad in her regal armor: elegant horse shoes, a chest plate with a crescent moon, her neck plate, and the sleek helmet that Nightmare Moon herself was known for.

"Leave...daddy alone!" Nyx snarls to the frightened Boris in rage.

"No, it can't be! How could you have transformed into this monstrous form? The anti-magic brace is supposed to keep you in check!" Boris protests in horror and disbelief.

"You are a foolish stallion to think that I would be kept in check! One lesson you have forgotten: NEVER HARM MY FAMILY!"

"Nyx..." The Demon Pony said to Nyx in concern. That's his adopted daughter in the form that Twilight has told him about, but will she be able to control it?

"It's still me, daddy, I will help protect you from this monster." Nyx assures the Demon Pony in a gentle tone of voice that not even Nightmare Moon herself would've been known for.

Nyx slashes Boris with a wave of magic as the Demon Pony pounces at him as the fight begins. Down below, Twilight's group look concerned as Spike spoke up, "Aw man. Your kid is Nightmare Moon again. Even if she defeats that creep, what will guarantee that she won't go crazy this time?"

"No, if I know Nyx, she wouldn't let the corruption take her...but we still gotta help. Come on, Spike." Twilight said as she gallantly broke through the doors, rushing into the castle with Spike on her back.

Back on the roof, Boris swing at his enemies who dodged each of his attacks. The villain looks nervously as he is backed to the edge of the roof then slips down a steep part of it; The Demon Pony and Nyx luynges at their enemy, sending the fight right onto another part of the roof.

Inside the castle, Twilight and Spike quickly rush up the steps to the West Wing. Hopefully they can get to the fight and help before it's too late.

Boris quickly kicks the Demon Pony and Nyx right off of himself. As he got back up, the villain spots a shadowy figure and user the object to bashes it head in. To his annoyance however, it's just a stone gargoyle that he just destroyed.

"Cowardly monsters, come out and fight!" Boris shouts out to his enemies angrily. He walks around, not seeing the Demon Pony and Nyx in the shadows, preparing for their next move. "Were you in love with her, Demon Pony? Do you honestly think that she would have someone like you when she should has someone like me?"

Hearing this comment has outraged the good guys. Enough is enough. The Demon Pony and Nyx appear behind the true monster and tries to attack, only for Boris to turn and swung at them both again, the two dodged each of his attack.

"It's over, you monsters! TWILIGHT SPARKLE IS MINE!" Boris exclaims in madness.

"No!" Nyx exclaims furiously as she hits the rooftop, causing Boris to fall and for him to lose his blunt object in the progress. "My mother will never be with a monster like you; Never!"

Boris got back up but the Demon Pony head butts the villain while Nyx blasts him with a bolt of lightning, sending the evil unicorn to the edge of the room. The cursed beast grabbed Boris and held him over the edge of the castle roof. All the Demon Pony has to do is let him go and the red stallion is a goner (unless he uses his magic to save himself in time but Boris is too freaked out to consider that right now).

"No, let me go, let me go, please! Have mercy!" Boris pleads to the Demon Pony, a hint of fear is heard in his tone of voice.

"Why? Did you shown mercy when you pursue my mother without taking a hint? Have you shown mercy when you tried to have my grandfather committed when it was clear that he was telling the truth the whole time! Did you show any mercy when you tried to kill both me and my father, threatening to kill me once you're done with him!" Nyx screams in fury at the terrorized Boris. She decides that he must pay the price for what the evil unicorn has tried to do to her, Twilight, Dusk and the Demon Pony!

"Please, I'll do anything; ANYTHING!"

The Demon Pony glares furiously at Boris...but then his expression change to that of a look of compassion. Have he were his old self, the cursed pony would've just drop him and be done with it.

But no, the Demon Pony is not that monster anymore. He brought Boris onto the roof, bringing him close face-to-face while saying sternly, "Now you listen. There is a reason that Twilight loves me. I care for her. And I care for her daughter. And I love her for who she is on the inside unlike you! I may be a Demon Pony, but YOU THE ARE THE REAL MONSTER! But I am not going to kill you so I will say this...get out."

The Demon Pony shoves his enemy to the rooftop ground as Nyx sighs while saying, "You should've just finished him off."

"That is something that I would've done if I were my other self...but I am not that anymore. That's something that you would've done...but you are not that monster anymore either. Neither of us are monsters..."

Nyx looks down, knowing that the Demon Pony is right. She isn't the evil Nightmare Moon anymore. Yes, the filly has transformed to save the one that she has called 'daddy' but deep down, Nyx is never evil and will never will be, even if she herself was forced into the role by the cult.

"Demon Pony; Nyx," A familiar voice is heard. The two looks up to see Twilight and Spike are now on the balcony, looking at them in relief.

"Twilight," The Demon Pony spoke out gently. It's her; Twilight Sparkle has truly come back...

The Demon Pony and Nyx begin to climb up the side of the roof to make their way back to the balcony. Boris looks up and snarls in hatred and jealously. He isn't down just yet...

Once the two has gotten to the balcony, Nyx was able to fly back on herself while Twilight held out her hoof to take the Demon Pony's to pull him up. The former Earth Pony prince smiles gently with tears in his eyes as he said, "It's true...Twilight, you have come back..."

Twilight and the Demon Pony look into each other's eyes passionately with the purple unicorn holding the beast's hoof right to her face. It looks like nothing can ruin this monster now...

But suddenly the Demon Pony felt a stabbing motion in his bck, causing him to roar in pain. Twilight, Nyx and Spike gasps in horror as they saw that Boris has stabbed the cursed beast in the back...literally and with a knife! He laughs madly as the red unicorn continues stabbing his rival.

"NO!" Nyx exclaims in horror then turns furiously to Boris, "YOU MONSTER!"

Nyx then fires a blast of lightning right at Boris, hitting him right on the head. He screams in pain as his own horn is blasted right off. The Demon Pony then hits Boris hard, causing him to lose his balance as he screams some more while waving his upper forelegs around like a windmill.

Twilight was able to grab the Demon Pony before he could fall just as Boris falls right off him, pulling the furry pony to safely in time. The evil stallion wasn't lucky as he continues screaming for the last time. Without his horn, Boris cannot use his magic to save himself. The evil unicorn continues falling until he disappears from sight. Boris is gone forever.

Twilight, Spike and Nyx helped the mortally wounded Demon Pony right onto the balcony. During this time, Soarin', Caramel, Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy rush to the window, stopping and look horrified as they saw their fallen master. The males' eyes went widen while the females hold their upper forelegs to their mouths.

"No..." Fluttershy squeaks in horror. The Demon Pony has been stabbed...and with how deep the wound is, the poor pony doesn't have much time left to live...

Twilight laid the Demon Pony right down onto his own balcony; her eyes have tears as she put a hand on her face; The furry Earth Pony opens his eyes as he saw the mare that he himself loves...coughing badly.

"Daddy..." Nyx said, with tears in her eyes, even in her Nightmare Moon form.

"Twi...you came back..." The Demon Pony said weakly to Twilight while coughing a bit.

"Yes, I did...I couldn't just let them..." Twilight pauses then sobs as she hugs the Demon Pony while continuing, "Oh, it's all my fault. Why didn't I get here sooner! This wouldn't have happened otherwise..."

"Perhaps it's better this way..."

"No...don't talk like that, you will be all right! We are together now. Everything will be fine!"

"Well…at least I get to see you...one more time." The Demon Pony said weakly while putting one hoof on the tear shedding Twilight's face.

Twilight held the Demon Pony's furry while he held it there for a second, the sadden unicorn begins to sing a bit.

Twilight: We are home
We are where
We shall be forever

Trust in me
For you know
I won't run away

From today
This is all that I need
And all that I need to say

Don't you know how you've changed me?
Strange how I fin'lly see

I found home
You're my home

"Twilight..." The Demon Pony begins to cough weakly. He wants to tell his love something before he himself goes.

"Yes?" Twilight ask in sadness, smiling as a tear roll down her face.

Sadly, whatever the Demon Pony wants to say, he will never say it. His hoof begins to drop as it begins to go limp. Twilight looks saddened as the Demon Pony lay his head down, closing his eyes for the last time. The mare claps her upper hooves over her mouth. No, it can't be...but it's true! The Demon Pony is dead...

No...no, please, don't go! No! Don't leave, please!" Twilight sobs, her eyes begin filled with tears as she buries her face in the Demon Pony's chest. Then she sobs his, "I love you..."

Inside the west wing, the last petal fell from the rose, landing on the table. Soarin''s group saw this and turns away in sadness, the male Pegasus pony's eyes are filled with tears with him putting his own upper hooves over his eyes. Applejack sobs as Caramel put one hoof over her shoulder.

The Demon Pony is gone...and no one else who was cursed in the castle will ever become their true selves again...

Yes, I know Nyx has all of her powers taken away in 'Past Sins' but since this story's continuity is different than that one, I have the transformation remains. No worries, it will be resolved in the last chapter.

I added the Nyx hitting Boris with the lightning thing just to make sure that Boris won't use magic to save himself.

Here we go, the final chapter of this story; To respond to the reviews of Agent C.H.A.O.S. and Solid Sun...

Nyx does NOT feel out of place. She is just trying to save her daddy from a mad colt who wants to kill him. It is not weaker at all. Honestly, you two, give me credit for making a difference in the final fight. I wrote Nyx well and you guys can't make me change my mind.

And yes, the Demon Pony should've helped but even depression can't overcome rage at times...at least until Twilight appeared.

And no, the Cupcakes bit was NOT out of place in the chapter before it.

So despite what you two reviewers say, I did the chapters well and I'm proud of it.

Epilogue: Return of the Prince

It continues raining as all was quiet...minus Twilight who is sobbing while her face is still buried in the Demon Pony's chest. Spike and Nyx looks down, the latter's eyes are filled with her tears. The colt that she considered to be a father is dead. Yes, it appears to be a sad day indeed...

But then, something happens. The rain suddenly transform into powerful beams of light that sparkle into the balcony floor. Twilight stop crying and looks confused as to what's happening. Just then, the Demon Pony's body begins to get covered by fog then rose up into the air as if by magic! Something's happening...

Twilight, backing away, looks surprised as Nyx rose up as well, much to her surprise. The purple unicorn and Spike watch in amazement while the others in the West Wing stop their grieving, watching in surprise and anticipation. Could this be...?

As the Demon Pony and Nyx float in mid-air, the cape wraps around the furry pony as both of them begins to glow. Nyx's armor disappears as she begins to shrink downward. The Demon Pony 's claws and paws turned into that of pony hooves, both upper and lower. His fur, eyes and teeth begins to change as he and Nyx begins to glow in a flash of light.

Soon the two were lowered to the balcony as Twilight and Spike looks surprised. Nyx is her young filly self again! The mother rushes over while exclaiming, "Nyx! Is that..."

"Yeah, it's me, mommy. I'm back to normal...I guess my powers are gone. I think what's left of Nightmare Moon is gone for good." Nyx said in amazement. She thought that she herself would be doomed to be in that form forever but that is not the case.

"Something's up with the Demon Pony." Spike said in notice. "But...wait, he looks different..."

Sure enough, everyone looks at the Demon Pony but another pony appears to have taken his place! Twilight came over to the new figure and try to reach out to him in precaution but back away as the pony stood up and look at his own hooves in amazement and happiness.

Soon the pony turns around to face Twilight. To her, Nyx and Spike, they recognize him as the same pony from the slashed portrait! The same eyes, mane, tail and red collar...the big difference is that he has a cutie mark that looks like a Triforce! This pony looks familiar to them in another way but how?

"Twilight...it's me." The pony said to Twilight gently while taking her by the upper hooves.

Come to think about it, this pony is getting more familiar. Twilight is skeptical, wondering if she should believe him or not...but then the mare looks into his eyes...and compare them to that of the Demon Pony's, only color...as well as the red collar and gentle look!

"It is you!" Twilight exclaims happily. "It's you, Demon Pony!"

"Well, not anymore. My real name is Ben Mare." The former Demon Pony, now known by his real name of Ben Mare, said to Twilight with a smile.

Nyx and Spike smile and watch as Ben and Twilight smile while hugging one another. The colt caressed his love's mane...then the two lean forward and kiss each other deeply.

Then as if by magic, fireworks went off all over the place. The shimmer of the lights brought life back to the castle as night became day, the gargoyles on the castles turned into cherubs, etc. The curse is finally broken!

The cursed foals came up, happy that their master and friend is alive! Suddenly they begin to transform, Soarin' transforms into a grown-up colt version of himself.

"Soarin'," Ben exclaims happily. Soon Caramel transforms into a colt version of himself, his real age, "Caramel!" Just then, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow and Pinkie transforms into their real ages: mares. "Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Pinkie!" He happily hugs all his good friends. "Look at us!"

"My goodness! We're back to normal!" Fluttershy exclaims, flying up while making a cute 'squee'.

"Applejack, Applejack!" Apple Bloom is heard calling as every pony and Spike saw Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Rarity riding onto the balcony on Winona.

Suddenly the CMC babies are transformed back into their kid selves while Winona spins around before changing back into her grown-up dog form. Applejack giggles as she pick up Apple Bloom while saying, "Oh mah stars!"

"It's over, we're back to normal!" Rarity squeak happily as she and Rainbow picks up Sweetie and Scootaloo respectively. The curse that has haunted them all their lives is finally lifted!

"It's a miracle!" Soarin' exclaims in excitement as everypony cheers on.

"Yes, I knew that you could do it, Ben and Twilight!" A voice spoke up as a flash of light appears. To everyone's surprise and/or concern, a familiar figure appears. She is a huge unicorn with magenta eyes, a mane of cyan, turquoise, azure and purple, with a coat of pinkish white. She wears a crown and a necklace with gems. Her name is Princess Celestia.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight exclaims in surprise as she, Spike and Nyx bows down a bit. "It's good to see you."

"Good to see you too, my faithful student. Come, there's no reason to bow." Princess Celestia giggles a bit while nodding. Twilight got up and notices that Ben and the others look a bit nervous and worried towards the alicorn.

"Ben? What's wrong?"

"She's the same one who cast the curse on us years ago." Ben explains to Twilight in worry, "The same alicorn that transform us and made me into that Demon Pony years ago."

"Yes, I do apologize for that, Ben, but I did so to teach you a lesson for your selfish and unkind ways." Princess Celestia apologizes to Ben then she smiles. "I was hoping for the day that you would learn your lesson and learn how to love...but I never thought that it would be my faithful student Twilight to be the one who could lift the curse."

"Yes...you always told me that someday I would be somepony special." Twilight said with a smile while she and Ben hold hooves. "And now, I met him at last."

"Yeah, I supposed you're right in teaching me that lesson, Princess. Thank you." Ben said to Princess Celestia with a grin.

"And what about me," Nyx ask Princess Celestia in concern. "I was Nightmare Moon for a moment and..."

"Sadly, my sister Luna didn't take all of her evil self out of you, Nyx, just the one to transforms along with some of her powers remain. Luckily, with the curse gone, it also effect you and thus you will never worried about being Nightmare Moon again." Princess Celestia said to Nyx gently.

"Yeah...I guess it;s better this way."

"Right! It's better as the continuity from the Past Sins story!" Pinkie exclaims with a happy smile, making her friends laugh a bit.

"Well, what are we doing standing around here? It's time to celebrate!" Princess Celestia exclaims happily. Twilight and Ben laughs as they begin to dance around.

A while later, everypony, now freed of the curse, are in the ballroom. Some of the villagers attended as well; Turns out that Princess Celestia's curse has also made them forget about Ben Mare, his servants and castles. Once it's lift, they remember them and feel terrible about almost killing their prince thanks to Boris's trickery and hatred. Luckily, Ben Mare forgives them, enough to allow them to attend his wedding to his new love Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight and Ben, wearing the same clothes from their dinner from the other night, dance happily while kissing each other. They continue their dance as everypony watch on in happiness for the two.

"Ah, love." Soarin' said with a sigh. Just then, Rainbow pass by him, brushing his chin with her tail slyly making him chuckle devilishly. Time for him for some romance of his own!

But then, as Soarin' was about to follow Rainbow, Caramel stops him and shakes hooves while saying, "Well, Soarin', old pal. I know we have our difference but I think it's time we make bygones be bygones, How about it?"

"Eh, sure, why not. See? I told you that she'd break the spell!"

"No, on the contrary, I believe that I told you."

"No, I told you." Soarin' snaps to Caramel with a frown.

"No, no, you didn't, you winged little speed demon!" Caramel scowls at Soarin' as he shoves his friend away.

"Oh yeah; Wanna go, you little Earth Pony?"

Soarin' slaps Caramel with a glove as the two colts begin fighting each other like mad. Meanwhile, as Twilight and Ben continue dancing, they go past a smiling Dusk with Nyx and Spike on his back, Princess Celestia, Applejack with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo on her back, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and of course Rarity with Sweetie on her own back.

"Wow, how romantic." Sweetie said with a smile.

"AJ; does 'dis mean 'dat they're going 'ta live happily ever after?" Apple Bloom asks her big sister with a smile.

"Shucks, o' course, Apple Bloom, o' course." Applejack said as she nuzzles her little sister on the head happily.

Scootaloo pauses and frowns while asking, "Wait, do we still have to sleep in the cradles?" This causes the ponies around her to laugh happily at the comment.

As Twilight and Ben continues dancing romantically, everyone begins to sing a familiar song for the last time.

All: Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast!

The couple smile to each other while kissing once more. We now see them in a familiar window with some of their family and old friends.
