A/N: Hello people who are probably still reading this story. I know it's been a long time since I have written anything for MLP, but I'm very busy in my current time of life. I have 2 AP classes and I also have other stories that I am trying to progress, but again time constraints all over the place. However I am determined to get more chapters out this year and hopefully tons in the summer. Chapters will most certainly appear when I get to them and I will try to get them out weekly if possible.

Chapter 16: Mysterious Message

Cheese Cake was asleep in his hospital bed. He hasn't been so relaxed in such a long time. He began to stretch his body out. Starting with his legs, then twisting his back to remove the pressure and finishing with his neck rolls. Now he was limber and ready. He placed his hooves on his eyes to remove the dirt. Then he took some blinks to get some clarity.

He finally noticed that there was a note stuck to his hospital shirt. He removed it and looked at it.

It had this note written on it:

Dear, Cheese Cake. You don't know me, but I know you and your little secret. You may not know it, but I do, so are you curious yet? If so, come and meet me in Canterlot's archives. If not, then you are really missing a part of your life. I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Sincerely, somepony you don't know. Turn to other side.

Cheesecake turns it around and found a train ticket for the one o'clock train to Canterlot. He is curious about this mysterious message, so he took the ticket. He removed the hospital clothes, got out of bed and opened the window next to his bed. He look out and across Ponyville toward Canterlot, he took a deep breath of fresh air. He opened his wings, backed up and started running for the window. He took a leap through the exit and glided toward the train station.

Twilight, still on her research mission, stopped by the competition to tell her friends she's going to check up on Cheese Cake.

Applejack took her attention from the competition, "Hey Twilight you've been missin' out on the competition."

"Yeah I know I had to stop by Rarity's, so how's the duel going?"

"Well it's getting more intense than ever."

"Good, anyways I'm headed to the hospital to check on Cheese Cake," announced Twilight, walking toward the hospital.

About half way there, she noticed a shadow cascaded of her for a brief second and she looked up with her leg covering her eyes from the sun, saw Cheese Cake flying away.

Where Cheese Cake going? Something's going on if he's flying with an injured back. I should follow him if he falls from the flight. He headed toward the train station, I wonder…

She adjusted to reality and quickly galloped in pursuit of the colt.

A/N#2: Obviously I know this is such a short chapter, but this is really more about the message of me being busy and showing I still going at this story and haven't given up on it. Hope I can get at least 5+ real lengthy chapters out by the end of this year. (Probably 10+ Chapters.) Peace out :) friends.
