It has been over a year since Darkwing was vanquished and Equestria was saved from the brink of destruction, All that remains of the black hearted angel was his swords, After being vanquished by those equines he called The Spirits Of Harmony, His dead spirit vowed revenge.

"Equines, Defeated me?! This cannot be possible, I am the embodiment of darkness." He said to himself as his soul was found in Tartarus, Lingering with the other defeated entities of darkness.

"This is taking forever!!! I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!" Said a red yellow and black demon as she was slamming the gates with her claws.

"Calm your tits, Sunset Satan, All i need is an otherworldly dark power, And then we're all outta here!" Darkwing said to the demon who was now calming down.

"But we were all defeated by those ponies, If we want to be reincarnated, We're gonna need a miracle." Sombra said to him.

"Yeah, i suppose you're right." Darkwing responded as he magicked up a hammock and HDTV, "But where in this existance would we get a power such as that?!"

"Know this, The force that is unrivaled shall be immortal." An otherworldly voice said to everyone.

"Who-Who's there?" Darkwing asked as he got up from his hammock.

"My name is of no importance, Tell me, Have you heard of a card game known as Duel Monsters?"

"I think one of the Canterlot High kids mentioned something about them during my reign of terror." Sunset Satan said to the voice.

"Then you are familiar with this card game?"

"Exactly."

"Tell me, Have you heard of the Dark Cards?"

"Dark Cards?" Said a black alicorn awakening from her slumber.

"Only true envoys of darkness have the power to wield the dark cards, Envoys like you, Darkwing."

"How can you tell?"

I saw you conquering Equestria, And you almost had it too, But you and all your creatures can become stronger."

"OK, And how does this involve us?" Said Discord.

"The ponies of Equestria, Have discovered and evolved Duel Monsters to it's peak, They know of Fusions, Rituals, Synchros, Dark Synchros, And Even X-Zs, This is the perfect time for you to conquer."

"But how?! We're all dead! D-E-A-D DEAD!!!!!" Said an alicorn filled with holes.

"My card is touching your swords, Darkwing, Use it and its' respective deck well, And all of ponykind shall kneel before you and your creations!"

As the voice dissapeared, A portal opened to the exact spot in deep space where Guardian Aurora and the Canterlot High kids struck Darkwing down 12 moons ago.

"We're back, And we've all got our own decks of cards." Queen Chrysalis said as she noticed a stack of cards in her hooves, As well as everyone else's.
